2020 Virtual Victory Campaign (May 28-30): God’s Stimulus Package (2:00 p.m. CT)

all right if you have your Bibles with you open them first of all to Romans chapter 15 Romans chapter 15 and just before we begin reading this verse I want to go to I want to define for you a stimulus package what does it mean you've heard a lot about it on television Fox News all the news agencies been talking about it for a couple of months now they finally got some some past I think they're still arguing over some others but a stimulus package what does the word stimulus mean it means something that arouses hope and lifts one's spirit that's what it's designed to do is to arouse hope and to lift one's spirit now ruins chapter 15 verse 13 says now the god of Hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing that ye may abound in Hope through the power of the Holy Ghost notice god is the god of hope and he wants you to not only be full of joy and full of peace but also to be full of hope you know a lot of Christians today I've come in contact with some even though haven't been able to travel like I've always done for over 50 years now previously I was gone about 22 days out of every month and have been doing that for all these years but you know since the corona virus pandemic and all of that has been taking place Travel has been limited but it's not to say that I haven't been preaching I have mostly to my wife hallelujah and and she hasn't given me an offering yet but anyway we've been having a great I'm studying the word fellowshiping with God and and enjoying family and one day I was sitting in my study and just praying and fellowshipping with the Lord and I heard the Lord the Spirit of God say God has a stimulus package he's the God of hope he wants you to be filled with hope that's what his word is designed to do to bring hope to inspire faith and if you're one of those that we referred to as a word person then you should never be without hope your faith should always be strong because faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God so notice once again he's the God of hope and he wants you to be filled with joy he wants you to be filled with peace and he wants you to abound in hope now if all you do is watch television and mostly you know the media then you're not going to be a person who is abounding and hope because most of the reports that they're giving you are hopeless or they create hopelessness but thank God the Word of God which I love what the Bible says the grass withers the flower fades but the word of our God shall stand forever so you can depend on the word of God no matter what's going on around you in this world today you can depend on the Word of God remaining the same it's not going to change no matter what kind of crisis we have God's Word never changes and I'm grateful for that so I want to encourage you if you haven't been doing so please start get in the word every day spend as much time in the word that you possibly can and allow it to arouse hope and to stimulate your faith and to cause you to be full of joy and full of peace and know that God is on your side that no weapon formed against you shall prosper and through all of this you're gonna find out that God will remain faithful he has remained faithful to me he's remained faithful to my ministry in fact we haven't suffered at all during all this time in fact I was told just a few days ago that we had one of the greatest April's the month of April that we'd ever had in the history of this ministry and so obviously that inspires hope that stimulates my faith and it causes me to be full of joy praise God so once again I want to talk to you about God's stimulus package let's go to first Corinthians chapter 2 first Corinthians chapter 2 and we're going to read verse 12 now we have received not the spirit of the world but the Spirit which is of God that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God so one of the responsibilities of the Holy Spirit is to reveal to us everything that God wants us to have and wants us to enjoy brother Copeland read a scripture this morning in 1st Grima the first Timothy chapter 6 and verse 17 in fact let's turn over there hold your place in first Corinthians 2 but let's go back and read that verse once again first Timothy chapter 6 and verse 17 charge them that are rich in this world that they be not high-minded nor trust in uncertain riches but in the Living God who giveth us richly all things to enjoy and notice here it Paul says in 1st Corinthians chapter 2 verse 12 that one of the responsibilities of the Holy Spirit is to reveal to us the things that God has already made provision for that things that God wants us to richly enjoy don't let somebody tell you that God's not interested in you having thinks in fact the Bible says what things soever you desire when you pray believe you receive them and you shall have them God is interested in you having things in fact the Bible says seek first the kingdom of God and all these other things shall be added to you besides so God is interested in you being well taken care of he's interested in you prospering he's interested in you living in divine health God cares about every minut detail of your life and the Bible is telling us here from the writings of the Apostle Paul that the Holy Spirit has been sent and one of his responsibilities is that he reveals to us that things that God has freely given to us the amplified says it this way that he wants us to realize and comprehend and appreciate I love that he wants us to realize the things that God's provided for us he wants us to comprehend the things that God has provided for us and he wants us to appreciate them now this is probably one area where the body of Christ fails more so in any other area is the lack of appreciation you know some people have the you know the attitude well what is God going to do about this and what is God going to do about that you know I like to say it this way if God's ever met a need in your life he's not forgotten he'll if God's ever blessed you financially he can do it again but I've learned a long time ago that one of the things that that positions me to experience more of the blessings of God is to be appreciative of what he's already done I'm a blessed man I don't mind telling you and I make no apologies for being a blessed man in fact I like to say I'm extremely blessed and highly favored and I'm very grateful for that I know that without Christ in my life I would be nothing without him I would have nothing but thank god I've got him and with him God has blessed me God has favored me God has richly blessed me he's he's given me things many times things that I didn't even ask for and I remember a time when Richard Robertson and Lyndsey and Carolyn and I were out having lunch and after we finished lunch we were headed back to our home and to just spend some time in fellowship and Richard and I are sitting in the back and Carolyn and Lindsay are setting me up in the front and Carolyn is driving and so we're just talking and enjoying our fellowship and I noticed that I had a message on my phone so I asked Richard to excuse me for a moment so I could read this message and it said brother Jerry I've heard you talk about that back in the early days when you and Carolyn first married that you had a 65 1965 GTO that you really enjoyed and you raced and and when you got called up for active duty in the military he had to sell that GTO so that Carolyn would have money to live on while you were away and he said I just wanted to let you know I have a 65 GTO that's been completely restored and I'd like to bless you with it if you're interested in it I text him back immediately I said is the Pope Catholic yes I'm interested in it and he said well just tell me I can get it to you so I turned and read the text to Richard and I read the text to Carolyn and Lindsay and they all started singing the Beach Boys song little GTO and it got delivered to me it was something that I enjoy in fact I like it I really do like it I've always liked 65 GTO s and God blessed me with that I didn't even ask him for it but he knew that if something that I would enjoy in fact I remember him saying when I asked him I said Lord why did you have that man give me this GTO he said I knew you would enjoy it and I do in fact the first time Jesse and Kathy came shortly after that to spend a couple of days with us I took Jesse riding in it and oh boy we went through four gears and we did get a little rowdy okay and so jesse is sitting in the passenger side and he's just shouting I'm 16 again I'm 16 again I said hold on Jesse we got two more years to go amen it was fun I enjoy it I've always been a classic car enthusiast I still am and God has blessed me with some of the finest classic cars hot rods you know that's something I enjoy and most of them I didn't even ask him for now I'm a soul I'm so and you can't outgive God and I asked the Lord one time I said why did you bless me with this particular thing he said that's harvest on the seed you sowed I said which seed was that he said when you bought that missionary that van that he needed I said well Lord I didn't ask for a return on that I'm just doing it out of the goodness of my heart I knew the man needed it I had the ability to bless him with it and so I got him a new van he said well here's your harvest enjoy it God wants you and I to enjoy things now here's the the most important part of this lesson don't allow things to have you you have things let me say that again don't allow things to have you you have things now you say well how do I know if something has me very simple when you can't give it away if you can't give it away you don't have it it has you I'm gonna say that again if God asks you to give it away and you can't do it then you don't have it it has you you see if you learn to be appreciative to what God has done and what God has given you and then if he asks you to give it and you don't hesitate then you are a candidate to receive more and more you know I remember one time I was I was getting ready to get up Brad do a little motorcycle ride on a Saturday morning I was home Carolyn was away preaching it was one of those rare times when I was home and she was in a meeting I believe up in Minneapolis with Lynn Hammond and so I was home and I thought what am I gonna do with myself I looked all over the house couldn't find a honey-do list that she had left and so I thought well I'll just get up in the morning and and take a little motorcycle ride well I went out to my shop and I had two brand-new harley-davidson motorcycles this was back in 1996 I believe he was and I had a brand new Heritage Softail Classic had less than 500 miles on it and I had a brand new heritage big touring bike and so I got on the on the touring bike and I thought well maybe I'll just ride a couple of hundred miles and have lunch somewhere and didn't come back I got on that bike and I was not five miles away from my house and I sensed in my spirit that God wanted me to give that motorcycle to somebody else so I turn around and I come back home and I parked it and I got on the other bike and I decided to keep heading in the direction I was originally gonna go and I sensed that God wanted me to give this bike to somebody else so I turn around went back home and I said Lord who do you want me to give these two bikes to so he told me very clearly very specifically who to give them to and so I called the two people and one of them he was needing a big touring bike in a bad way his his was absolutely worn out and he had a ministry to bikers and he needed a new bike and I said well I thought I thought this might belong to me but I come to find out it belongs to you and I'm going to so it into your life well he was very grateful and and he came and picked it up and used it for many years and then I called the other man and I said the Lord wants me to bless you with this new Heritage Softail Classic well he began weeping and when he when when I presented it to him he just leaned on my shoulder and just wept and and when he finally gained his composure he said no you have to understand he had a colorful past I would say he'd been in prison he'd been in there for a long time and when he got out he attended my Bible School and and he said when he when he finally stopped crying he said brother Jerry this is the only harley-davidson I've ever owned but it didn't steal and so it was a blessing to him I gave them both away and you know when when they drove them off I didn't weep I didn't cry I didn't feel sad and I didn't feel lost it was a joy to be able to bless somebody it was a joy to be able to sew them into somebody else's life and know that it was exactly where God wanted them to be and you know what happened it wasn't long after that somebody blessed me with five motorcycles five hey buddy say five five motorcycles you can't ride five motorcycles all at the same time I sued the Lord why did you give me these five motorcycles he said because you weren't hesitant to give those other two away the moment I spoke to you about it you didn't grieve about it you didn't feel sadness about it in fact you were joyful in doing it he said so here's five more I said well Lord what do you want me to do with these he said whatever you want to do with him I gave all five away did my might go off I was hearing a response I said I gave all five away Oh five and it was a joy I didn't I didn't even ride one of them I gave them all five away and you know what happened I had to build a bigger garage to hold all the motorcycles that God blessed me with in fact my wife Carolyn said don't you ever give another motorcycle away because they come back to you in fleets well and I've enjoyed them I've given a bunch of those away God is interested in you having things to enjoy and one of my greatest enjoyment is sewing one of my greatest pleasures is blessing other people that old write me a letter say well if you want to give motorcycle away I'm a candidate now I do it by the direction of the Holy Spirit okay but God wants you to have things to enjoy and I'm telling you the truth you guys any member of my family my staff one of my greatest joys is to be able to sew into other people's lives I live to give I have embraced a lifestyle of giving just like I talked to you about this morning so notice here once again the Holy Spirit has been sent by God and one of his purposes for indwelling us is that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God we're talking about God's stimulus package we're talking about God wanting to rouse our hope and God wanting to inspire our faith amen and you know every time a blessing comes that's exactly what happens you know you may have been believing God at one time for a hundred dollars and you may have had to stand for a while before it manifested but then when it finally came what happened hope went to another level and particularly when the next time you needed money but it was a larger amount why you already had this testimony God got you the hundred why can't he gets you two hundred you know God got you two hundred why can't he get you five hundred God got you five hundred why couldn't he get you 5000 and on and on and on well you see when God blesses us with things it's to cause our hope to abound its it causes our faith to be stimulated this is God's stimulus package and God wants you to know that right in the middle of this crisis he has not forgotten your name he has not forgotten your address and he still has a lot of things with your name on it that you haven't you haven't received yet but the Holy Spirit wants to reveal to you what belongs to you now once again the amplified says that you might realize that you might comprehend and that you might appreciate I want to I want to dwell on that for another moment learn to become more appreciative for what God's already done and you become a candidate to experience more and more and more develop an attitude of gratitude amen you know so often when needs arrived in our lives we tend to focus on the need and and and particularly if it's impossible looking and Satan begins to you know try to beat your brains out with you don't think for one moment that God's going to get this to you you you've never experienced him doing something this big before well you just remind the devil well when I needed $5.00 when I needed $50.00 when I needed $1000 God always came through and if God's ever done it once he can do it again praise God so once again when God blesses you with things it's his stimulation it's his stimulus package he's causing you to abound in hope and to stimulate your faith so that you get to the place to where you believe nothing is impossible with God all things are possible to him that believeth can you say Amen now the word comprehend not only means to grasp but it also means to apprehend which means to take hold of take hold of and notice once again that the amplified bible cell also said that we are to appreciate not only comprehend apprehend but to appreciate it in other words receive it and enjoy it hallelujah now in 1st Corinthians chapter 2 and verse 9 it says but as it is written eye hath not seen nor ear heard neither have entered into the heart of man the things which God hath prepared for them that love him notice once again the things which God has prepared for them that love him in other words God has already prearranged that's another word that is synonymous with prepared God has already prearranged things that belong to you they have your name on them they were bought and paid for through the shed blood of Jesus Christ amen so notice your eyes have not seen everything that God has in store for you your ears have not even heard about all the things that God has in store for you your heart has not yet conceived all the things that God has in store for you but nevertheless they're there and they have your name on it and God's already prearranged for you to have them now if you don't know anything about this it's not likely that you'll ever enjoy it you know I always always tell this story when I'm when I'm reading 1st Corinthians 2:9 about preparing things for us when my first grandchild was born Mark James he's now over 30 years old and when he was born I'm telling you Carol and I we were just beside ourselves there's just something your first grandchild and just moments after he was born I held him in my arms I looked down at him I said markjames nahi he can't even focus yet he's only less than 20 minutes old and I'm I looked down at him I said markjames I'm your grandfather this is your grandmother Carolyn was standing next to me I said I just want you to know son you picked the right family to be born into because I'm extremely blessed of the Lord and highly favored and so is your grandmother and as soon as I leave this hospital I'm going to my CPA and I'm going to start you a trust fund and every month I'm gonna faithfully contribute to it and by the time you're 21 years old you will have something prepared pre-arranged and laid up for you now he doesn't understand trust fund he's only 20 minutes old he doesn't understand any of this but nevertheless the moment I left that hospital I set that trust fund up and I even set it up to where I didn't even have to write the check I set it up to where they Justin automatically took it from my bank account and put it into his trust fund so I didn't even have to be concerned with it now it began the pre arrangement had begun now once again he doesn't understand it he doesn't know anything about it not yet but by the time he was three years old he heard me talk about it several times and now he's calling me every day wanting to know how much interest has it earned and when can I get it you know I said well when you're 21 Oh Papa that's forever now when you're 21 you're going to have this wonderful trust fund that's been set aside for you there's been prearranged for you and he said Pablo can I have it now I said well I'll bless you as we go but know this trust fund is for when you reach 21 well you know he wasn't real happy about having to wait till he was 21 but when he got to be 21 he was extremely happy you know well later his little brother Preston was born a couple of years later and I remember Mark James walking up to Preston one day and said to him and Preston he he can't even talk yet he's just you know a couple of months old and he looked down at Preston and he pointed at me and he said Preston get to know this man you're gonna like him and I had towed Preston the same thing when he was born I'm going to set up a trust fund for you and then I told Cassidy my granddaughter when she was born I set up a trust fund for you I told Madison the same thing I told Dylan I told Brent I told Kai and I got to just a few days ago tell for the very first time because this is the first time it's happened to me I now have a great granddaughter and she's already got a trust fund what am i doing I am pre arranging for their future God has already pre arranged for your today for your tomorrow and for your future notice once again I have not seen ear has not heard neither have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for them that love him have a question for you do you love God with Elle you're a candidate God has already prepared a stimulus package for you now the great thing is you don't have to wait till you get to heaven to enjoy it in fact you don't have to wait 25 years to enjoy it you can start enjoying it right now right now and what better time to start enjoying it then right now because you know most people are having a hard time a difficult time there are a lot of people that have lost their jobs a lot of people are financially strapped if they don't know where to turn they don't know what to do but praise God as believers we have a stimulus package God wants our hope to abound don't ever allow yourself to become hopeless in fact the only people in the world that are entitled to be hopeless according to the writings of the Apostle Paul in Ephesians chapter 2 are those that don't know God those that don't have a covenant well praise God that's not us we know God we have a covenant and praise God we should never ever again be hopeless so make up your mind right now that you're not going to allow what's going on around you to cause you to become hopeless you're not entitled to be hopeless you serve the god of hope he wants you to abound in hope he wants you strong in faith he wants you full of joy well brother how can I have joy with everything that's going on around me well you need to read the book of James count it all joy my brethren when you fall into divers temptations testings and trials what do you say count it all joy knowing this that the trying of your faith worketh patience the message translation says that the trying of your faith or when you experience these tests and trials your faith is forced into the open and shows its true colors so that's what's happening right now you know with all this that's going on around us we're finding out what most Christians are really made of their faith is showing its true colors if you're weak in faith it'll show up if you're strong in faith it'll show up praise God so I encourage you to stay strong in faith and the only way you can do that is stay in the Word of God don't ever stop feeding on the Word of God don't ever get to the place where you think I know enough no you don't I've been studying the word now for 51 years preaching it around the world 46 different nations for 51 years and I still can't get enough of it I can't get enough of it I found something that I didn't know nearly every time I opened this book allodynia our God expounds on the knowledge that I did have so don't don't ever get the idea that you've already learned enough you've already heard an you don't need anymore no you just keep feeding on the Word of God so that your faith is always strong let me go back to first Corinthians 2:12 for a moment that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God the passion translation says that God has lavished upon us I like that that God has lavished upon us I listed a few words here that are synonymous with the word lavish profusely extravagantly unsparingly profusely extravagantly unsparingly our God's an extravagant God hallelujah he he's not only like Jesse Duplantis says you know Jesse Jesse did a sermon one time and he wrote a book about it as well and he said God is not enough he's too much he's extravagant amen he will not only supply your needs but filled to the full to overflowing the amplified bible says from philippians 4:19 he will supply your needs and feel to the fool until it's overflowing he's the God that wants to lavish blessings on us and once again profusely extravagantly unsparingly amen now Romans chapter 8 verse 32 says this he that spared not his own son but delivered him up for us all how shall he not with him also freely give us all things you know it's amazing how many times the Apostle Paul talks about how much God wants to give us how much God wants to give us how much God wants to bless us and he uses the phrase things quite often that God wants to bless us with things things that are needful things that we enjoy things that will only pass through us so that we can bless somebody else with it amen so he says if God spared not his own son but delivered him up for us all then how shall he not with him also give us all things the amplified bible says he did not withhold or spare his own son and then the message translation adds this in other words if God was willing to give his own son is there anything else he wouldn't gladly and freely do for us if God was willing to give his own son spare not his own son then is there anything else that he wouldn't gladly and freely do for us hallelujah man I'm enjoying this I hope you are it's it's it's stimulating my faith praise God that God is interested in every my new detail of my life he's interested in me not only having my needs met but more than enough so that I can bless and be a blessing to others hallelujah so if you've ever thought that it's God who's withholding from you then you've been lied to cast that thought down it's not from God it's from the devil he's the father of lies and it is the lie God is interested in meeting every need in your life he's the ultimate giver he's not the one who withholds he's the ultimate giver he's not the one who refrains from giving to his people he's the greatest Giver in the universe Paul also tells us speaking about God's graciousness Philippians 4:19 my God shall supply all your need all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus the amplified once again says he will feel to the fool your every need and the message translation says his generosity exceeding even yours if you consider yourself to be a generous person then wonderful but you haven't even come close to generosity of God God is very generous amen he'll bless you beyond what you asked for he'll bless you but want beyond what other people think you deserve hallelujah God is a gracious God so once again he's the greatest Giver no one even comes close to his generosity now in first Timothy chapter 6 and verse 17 and I mentioned it earlier in brother Copeland read it this morning as well charge them that are rich in this world that they be not high-minded nor trust in uncertain riches but in the Living God don't trust in your riches trust in the Living God who giveth us richly all things to enjoy I like the sound of that he gives us richly all things to enjoy I think I'll drink to that I learned that from brother Roberts richly implies with opulence plenty ously abundantly David said in Psalm 23 my cup runneth over excuse me in the message translation it says tell them to go after God who piles on all the riches we could ever manage well we're not amazing God will pile on all the riches that you could ever possibly manage did I tell you he's the greatest Giver excuse me for my throat there for a moment it'll get stronger in just a moment back when I had that stroke a few years ago when they took that breathing apparatus out of my throat they scarred my vocal cords and in the natural I was never to be able to speak at a very loud voice again much less ever preached again but God but God and I haven't stopped preaching I may have to stop and take a drink every once awhile but God has restored me and he's continuing to perfect that which concerns me so if you have a water bottle there have a drink with me amen all right now I want to go back to first Corinthians chapter 2 verse 9 but as it is written eye hath not seen nor ear heard neither have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for them that love me I love him so would you say this with me right now if you can't lift your hands why you saying God wants me to know the things that he has prepared for me say this God wants me to know the things that he has pre-arranged for me and then say God wants me to know everything that he has put in store for me amen and now lift your hands and say and I want to know it - praise God not only does God want you to know it but you should want to know it why because when you know these things then you become a recipient of it you position yourself to experience it the Bible says God's people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge if you don't have knowledge of the fact that God wants to bless you with things God wants you to enjoy prosperity and God wants you to have more than enough that it's not likely that you'll ever experience it but when you know it then when the devil comes along and says it's not the will of God for you to have this and it's not the will of God for you to enjoy this telling Satan you might as well take that trash somewhere else because I don't receive it I know that I know that God has already pre arranged for me things to enjoy and God has arranged for me to have a stimulus package amen come on give the Lord a shout if he can give the Lord a good shout praise God amen no in the passion translation it says that he has in store for us the message translation says what God has arranged for those that love him what God has arranged for those that love him well I'm the candidate because I love God I love God with all my heart so I am a candidate for all these things that he has arranged now once again we're talking about God's stimulus package and once again it is designed to arouse hope and to lift your spirit and I trust that's what I'm endeavoring to do for you today is to arouse your hope and to lift your spirit don't allow the media to dictate your future don't allow the media to determine whether or not you're gonna make it or not allow the Word of God to be final authority if God says that no weapon formed against you a prosper then settle that in your heart and declare it out of your mouth that no weapon formed against me shall prosper no weapon formed against me shall prosper amen and don't let anybody talk you out of it don't let anybody convince you otherwise now let me read to you from the Amplified Bible what first Corinthians 2:9 says up to 12 we have not received the spirit that belongs to the world oh that's the place to stop and praise God I don't have the spirit that this world operates on hallelujah we don't we have not received the spirit that belongs to the world but the Holy Spirit who is from God given to us that we might realize comprehend and appreciate the gifts and lists of this the gifts of divine favor and blessing so freely and lavishly bestowed on us by God men I love that the gifts of divine favour and blessing so freely and lavishly bestowed upon us you know I learned fifty years ago God began to teach me when I had never heard anybody talk about the favor of God at that time in my life I didn't even know such a thing existed I never heard anybody talk about you could have favor with God and that's one of the first things the Lord began to teach me and I remember one morning when I was in prayer and this is me while I still lived in Shreveport Louisiana before I moved to Fort Worth and began working with brother Copeland and one morning in prayer and I kept a journal I still do journal everything the Lord would say to me in prayer and one morning as I was praying the Lord said I'm gonna cause my favour to be on your life in such a way that someday you will be known around the world for the favor of God that's on your life and then I'll hold you responsible for teaching others to walk in it as you do and I wrote all that down this was 1969 I'd only been walking with the Lord a couple of months I didn't even tell my wife about it I certainly didn't tell him by a church you know you don't go around when you're only two months old in the Lord and walk up to somebody in church and tap them on the shoulder and say guess what my name will be known around the world for the favor of God that's all my life I didn't tell anybody that for a long long time I just kept it in my journal and God began to teach me on the favor of God and and I learned something about how divinely connected the blessing of God is to the favor of God they're inseparable in fact in Genesis chapter 12 and Genesis chapter 19 where God introduces himself to Abraham Abram as he was known at that time and and God told him I will bless you I will bless you and and cause you to be a blessing in the amplified it says I will bless you and give you favor abundant favor notice the blessing and favor come together they're inseparable in fact you can turn over to the Book of Psalms and you'll find out that that God says that his people are blessed and it'll go on to talk about favor just a few verses later that that the blessing of the Lord is on God's people and then later it says and God will surround them with favor they're inseparable favor and blessing blessing and favor if you have the blessing of God you have the favor of God now a lot of Christians don't know how to appropriate them in their lives a lot of Christians don't even know that God has blessed them with it and consequently they're not enjoying the benefits of it but I know oh I'm well versed in it in fact I'm highly versed in knowing that I have the blessing of God on my life and the favor of God I get up every day declaring the favor of God is on my life and it's going to open doors for me today that no man can shut and if needed necessary you know change rules regulations and policies in my behalf and and and I expect the favor of God every day of my life and consequently I'm enjoying it I'm walking in it and and I've taught it all over the world and in fact what God said to me in 1969 has come to pass I've known all over the world for the favor of God that's on my life and on our ministry and I have spent all these years teaching others how to walk in it as I do in fact I'm not being boastful or egotistical but I believe I have written more books I preached more sermons I produce more resources on the subject of the favor of God than any other minister of our generation and it's the reason the reason being is because it was my mandate this is what God told me to do and so notice here when when when a verse has favor in it man it gets my attention I'll read it again the gifts of divine favor and blessing so freely and lavishly bestowed on us by God I always like to say that's my stimulus package blessing and favor blessing and favours say there with me the blessing of God and the favor of God that's my stimulus package come on lift your hands right now and just say thank your Lord from a stimulus package now let me tell you what I learned about the blessing and favor I'll tell you exactly how I learned it I was actually on a motorcycle trip and you know I enjoyed the blessing on favor of God all these years and I just got through preaching in Keith Moore's Church in Branson and we were doing a motorcycle to it with our chairs like Christian bikers we had about 50 or 60 bikers in convoy and we were leaving Branson and going to Tulsa and I was going to be preaching for Billy Joe and Sharon in Tulsa that night and so we're riding along there of course I'm riding up front and and we're just riding along they're enjoying our Rabb beautiful day and I'm I'm I got I got the blessing of God and the favor of God over my mind and I'm riding along there and all of a sudden the Lord said to me what is my blessing for what will it do for you I said the blessing and I'm just talking out loud riding my motorcycle nobody else could hear the conversation I said the blessing is designed to empower me to prosper to empower me to excel to empower me to increase he said okay then what is my favor for well I hadn't thought of it exactly like that before and before I could even answer he said my blessing is designed to cause you to prosper and my favor creates the opportunities to make it happen I lift both hands then I realized I've owned a motorcycle I put them back on the handlebar and I just pulled off the side of the road and then everybody pulled off beside me because they've learned by now if brother Jerry pulls off on the side of the road before we reach our destination apparently God just said something doing I got off my bike gathered everybody up and I said guys I just got a revelation I'm gonna preach on it tonight the blessing of God is designed to cause you to prosper and the favor of God is designed to create the opportunities to make it happen hallelujah amen and you have them both that's God's stimulus package the blessing of God and the favor of God can you say amen amen so don't ever forget that in times like these God hasn't forgotten you you're always on his mind and he's got you covered he's already pre-arranged you know I thank God every day is in particularly during these last three months of how that God has not only blessed us and and met our needs and supplied our needs I haven't had to lay one person off not here in my American officers nor in any of my offices around the world we haven't had to cut anybody's pay and they're all very grateful for that praise God and I told him not too long ago I said you ought to be grateful that you worked for Jerry Savelle ministries if he's working out in the world today you might even not even have a job but right here you're safe and secure praise God and I give God all the praise for that I give God all the praise for it and and I'm I just can't praise him enough for how he's not only supplied our need during these last three months but he's also sustained us amen we haven't had to cut back in any area we haven't had to lay anybody off we haven't had to tell people well we're gonna cut your salary in half and when it gets better maybe we can do better no we haven't had to do any of that why because I know I have a stimulus package hallelujah you know in fact my accountant my in-house accountant said to me oh maybe a month and a half ago brother Jerry we got a notice that we're entitled to receive a loan to help in the ministry that we won't even have to pay back if you're interested I said tell them thank you but no thank you I'm not interested why would I want to take out a loan when God has been taking care of me amen even if I don't have to pay it back why would I want to take out a loan when God's already established the fact that he has pre arranged for not only now but in the future to take care of me and he's been doing a good job of it and I give him all the praise so let me wrap it up with this here's the chapter 22 verses 3 through 14 and I won't take the time to turn there and read it but you know the story where Abraham has been asked to offer his son Isaac and if you read the story don't don't pay attention to Hollywood's version of this but read the Bible Hollywood has you know Abraham in tears and sorrow and no that's not the way it happened at all Abraham told the men that went with them stay here at the foot of the mountain behind the lad will go yonder and worship and will return and he didn't say I'm gonna go up to the mountain I'm taking my son with me and I will return but I'm gonna have to slay him no he said I and the lad will go yonder and worship and we'll return he was including Isaac in the return part when because God had promised him that through his son Isaac a mighty nation would be born and dead boys can't produce mighty nations in fact the Bible says in the book of Hebrews that that Abraham saw in a vision this happening and that that he was holding fast to that vision and so notice here the the he takes Isaac up on the mountain and on the way up there apparently Isaac's been involved in in offerings with his father before with burnt offerings and Isaac on the way up says father we have the wood we have the fire where's the lamb he didn't know at this time that he was the offering and at some point Abraham's got to tell him particularly when he says get up on the altar I'm gonna tie you down and and he reaches out to take the weapon that he was to slay him with don't you know at this point Isaac saying ha they offered no he's already been told now that I'm offering you son and apparently that doesn't say this but apparently Abraham has informed him don't worry about a thing because you are going back down this mountain with me and he says Isaac says father we have the wood we have the fire where's the lamb and here's the famous saying oh it's so powerful my son God will provide he said that my son God will provide and just about the time and then Abraham was prepared to go all the way with this he was prepared to slay Isaac burn him at the altar and watch God raise up the ashes and marched that boy back down that mountain and when he raised his knife you know the story the angel of the Lord appeared and said Abraham do you son no harm and there was a ram in the thicket and I think it's interesting also that Abraham named that place where this all took place the place where God will provide amen he made it a testimony to God providing in an impossible looking situation and God is still the provider Paul says many years later my God shall supply amen he's still the supplier he's still the provider but Abraham was the one who established that where that you and I would know today that God can be dependent upon God can be counted upon and that he's still the great provider amen I think it's interesting once again that Abraham didn't say I sure hope God provides or that he might possibly provide I wish there was some other way he said God will provide and God did provide and he still providing for those that trust him to this very day amen so don't let the media convince you that there's no hope that that there's just no way out of this situation God's got you covered amen God will provide now and you notice I'm saying more so God will then God can God can but your faith goes to another level when you believe he will God can but take it to another level and God will there were two blind men that came to Jesus one time and they wanted him to restore their sight and he asked this question do you believe I'm able to do this do you believe I'm able to do this this is found in Matthew chapter 9 and they said hey Lord we believe you're able to do this amen notice when they said yes we're able we believe you're able to do this their provision for restoration and healing and a miracle was divinely connected to what they believed that God could and would do amen another place that says we know you can if you will and jesus said to them I will amen notice two words I will they knew he could but they was they weren't sure if he would so he said to them very bluntly I suppose I will I know it only can't I will get to the place where you believe today that God can take care of you during this time and that God will take care of you amen yeah but what if he doesn't know there are no what if he doesn't he will go do yourself a favor and through the Bible and find the number of times where God says I will or Jesus says I will and mark those verses and get them down into your spirit so that you begin to believe not only my God can but my God will folks you have a stimulus package that God has blessed you with amen now notice once again and I keep going to first Corinthians 2:9 but as it is written eye hath not seen nor ear heard neither have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for them that love him the passion translation says things beyond our ability to imagine these are the many things God has in store for you amen things that are even beyond your ability to imagine these are the many things that God has in store for you so we know that God can provide and the Bible also teaches us that God can sustain Nehemiah chapter 9 verse 21 yay 40 years did they-did thou sustain them in the wilderness so that they lacked nothing that was under the Old Covenant we have a better covenant founded on better promises and they went 40 years and lacked nothing because God sustained them the message translation said they had everything they needed well if God could do that for Old Testament people and we have a better covenant founded on better promises then praise God I believe he can't and he will do it for me Psalm 55 verse 22 says cast that burden upon the Lord and he shall sustain thee the passion translation says leave all your cares and anxieties at the feet of the Lord the message adds this he'll carry your load and he'll help you out amen psalm 37 verse 25 we're still talking about god's stimulus package i have been young and now am old yet have i not seen the righteous forsaken nor his seed begging for bread well I can say that now praise God I learned that verse way back there a long time ago but now I could say I have been young I'm 72 years old now 73 years old I have been young but now I'm older not old but older and I have never seen the righteous forsaken now his seed nor his seed begging bread when because God has arranged for them a stimulus package verse 26 says and their children are blessed and they become a blessing well that's that's wonderful when you lived to see your children learn and act on the principles that they've seen you act on and now they're not only blessed but they too are a blessing my children are blessed and they too are a blessing they've seen that in their mom and dad's lives and praise God what a joy it is now to see my children and my grandchildren and they'll praise God and I'm headed to being able to watch my great-grandchildren be blessed and be a blessing amen so God has arranged for everything that we will need during this time and even if it got worse he's got you covered look at your neighbor and say well you don't have a neighbor there call somebody after the service say God's got me covered okay psalm 34:19 many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers him out of them all amen many of you perhaps may be going through some tough times right now that would come under the category of afflictions possibly but the Lord delivers him out of them all the message translation says God is there every time and the passion translation says and will not let them be defeated by what they are facing amen what a great promise God is not going to allow you to be defeated you have a stimulus package amen now here are close it with is James talks about the importance of not being just a hearer of the word but a doer of the word a doer of the word in other words it's not enough to hear these things I hope that you've been listening to me this morning you listening brother Copeland I listen to me this afternoon listening brother Copeland this morning listen to him last night and there was some great revelation that's been imparted but you can't just listen and expect it to work for you you hear it and you do it you hear it and you do it now what's the doing part of the message I'm sharing with you the doing part of you knowing that you have a stimulus package that's been arranged by God your knowing that or hearing that how do you apply the doing of it well the first thing you do is lift your hands and say I receive it Amen do it right now say I receive it I receive my stimulus package from God and the second thing you do is you begin to decree it talk it don't talk lack don't talk won't don't talk need talk the stimulus package if you have to if you have to answer somebody about what you're going through you know just say well I'm not moved by what I see I learned this from brother Copeland 51 years ago first time I heard him said I thought boy I am I'm moved by everything I see I moved by everything I feel I'm moved by everything I hear I want to get to the place like he is where he's not moved by what he sees he's not moved by what he hears and he's not moved by what he feels well I got their praise God and so now you just say I'm not moved by what I see say like the Apostle Paul in Acts chapter 20 verse 24 none of these things move me amen and then just say I stimulus package oh really then you have an opportunity to preach to them praise God yeah God has arranged a stimulus package for me not only now but for as long as I live hallelujah I've got God's got me covered amen and then I have to add this to it if you truly believe that God has got you covered then don't ever stop sewing don't ever stop sewing you know I shared a message on the last virtual victor campaign where I talked about our ask the question - so are not - so - so or not - so a lot of people are thinking right now well I just can't afford - so no my response to that is you can't afford not to amen you can't afford not to now your name you may not be able to so like you were sewing previously before all this happened but don't ever stop sewing sew something amen don't don't let an offering container pass you by without sewing something I heard Mike Murdoch say this years ago every time the offering is received that's God giving you an opportunity for increase so so something even if you consider to be small so something keep sowing seed you know the Bible says the cash to bread upon the waters and in many days it shall return Fred price used to say if you keep casting bread out on the water someday it's going to bring a return in over there every wave hallelujah own every weight that's what you want a return coming in on every wave but if you stop sewing it's not likely that will happen so in closing today I want to give you an opportunity another opportunity to sow the best that you can do amen brother Copeland said this morning two mites will work hallelujah but if you're capable of doing more do more if you're capable of giving somebody some seed to sow do so I've done that before praise God I sense in my spirit you know the person around me didn't have a seed to sow but they wanted to they would have if they had seeds so I just reached in my pocket gave them some seen amen now if somebody gives you seed don't take it and do something else with it like Charles Capps you say don't eat you see amen sew it sew it so today as we close out this afternoon session I want to encourage you to apprehend comprehend and apprehend lay hold upon the stimulus package that God has arranged for you amen don't ever talk defeat don't ever don't ever allow the devil to convince you it's not for you that works for Kenneth Copeland that works for Jerry Savelle but who are you well you're a child of God just like we are God had you in mind just like you had us in mind and then don't ever stop sewing so right now I'm going to turn you over to the folks that are going to tell you give you the instructions on how to sow your seed today and once again as you sow it expect God to pour out blessings upon you that there is not enough room to contain it all I love I discovered this translation a long long time ago it's called the lemp's translation for Malachi chapter 3 where he talks about he'll pour out blessings that there's not room to contain it or receive it the lamps the translation says God is going to pour out blessing on you until you shall finally say it's enough amen it's enough it's too much that's the God that you and I serve the god of too much the God of more than enough the God of lavish and God wants to pour out blessings upon you but give him something to work with never stop sewing father in the name of Jesus I've delivered this word today and I pray that it's ministered to the people that have heard it and received it I pray that it's aroused their hope stimulated their faith and cause them to make a quality decision that quitting is not an option giving up is not an option that folding up throwing in the towel is not an option that God is going to perfect that which concerns them and God has promised in Philippians 1:6 to bring them to a flourishing finish and that's what we're believing for for each and every one of them in Jesus name Amen so what's now and you'll be instructed on how to sew you see today all right brother Jerry thank you so much sir and thank you for that message that is so full of hope I love that God has got you covered you know that's something you ought to say to yourself all the time I got to tell you when I have difficulties when I have days when things don't look as good in my finances or something that yeah you know I tell myself and this is something maybe you can do I tell myself my situation is subject to change and tomorrow is a new day and God's mercies are new every morning you know you have one you have already one and as brother Jerry said as long as you keep sewing and give God something to work with you cannot defeat you cannot be defeated you cannot be defeated if you don't quit that's just a powerful word I want to give you the opportunity to give and I want to give you the options that we have for you there there on the screen as I read them to you you can just take whatever option is
