from Kroger field and Lexington Kentucky the Missouri Tigers come to town to try to end a long losing skid against the Wildcats of Kentucky and some drama in this series that's been tight as of late welcome everybody Tom Hart alongside George Rogers coach you blick down on the field well the famous missourian Nellie said it best to is not a winner and three nobody remember so let's focus on number one for both teams tonight to get this thing started well Missouri's got a great one every staff we talked to says you have to have a plan for number one on the defensive front Jordan Elliot he's a game record when he wants to turn it on Barry Odom says he's one of the best and Lynn Lynn Bowden as well number one on Kentucky you know what he can do it's this tonight state star watch brought to you by State Farm number one in the program and the playmakers Jordan Elliott third in the conference and tackles for loss Lynn Bowden expected to start this game at quarterback to converted wide receiver ran for nearly 200 yards in his first start at QB against Arkansas a couple of weeks ago so number one in white and number one in the home black for Kentucky tonight couple of playmakers a little more pressure on the number one wearing Kentucky's colors tonight came off a tough game against Georgia they're gonna ask him to do a lot Mark's Dukes and Barry Odom coaching in the rain tonight two defensive minded coaches Missouri won the toss the Tigers have elected to receive and they'll put their offense on the field first this is the weather Barry Odom was hoping for he said I hope it rains night tonight and the opening kickoff into the end zone that's killed on the field in a very soggy and wet corpulent that's a little bit rainy down here on the field and Kentucky's defense is gonna be without Kash Daniel he is there communicator he was the heartbeat of this defense so communication could become a little bit of an issue that's gonna come down to guys like DeAndre square on the backend Brad white telling me before this game they want to try to move some things around show some different fronts how much will Kentucky be able to do now that their communicator and leader at Mike linebacker it's not going to be abandoned a great point they may not miss much athletically with 22 Chris Oates in the game sophomore from Cincinnati has a great feel for the game player Roundtree is to starting running back for Mizzou and Clemson grad transfer Kelly Bryant will run the offense brien to throw-ins first down and incomplete he did not have a good game last time out against Vandy he came in with a fantastic resume a South Carolina native he stayed home to play for Dabo Swinney in the Clemson Tigers he was a two-sport standout coming out of Calhoun falls graduated from from Clemson where got his degree and that opened up after an abbreviated season with the Tigers last year a chance to change his stripes and come to Como yeah and last week was just perplexing turning on the film against Vanderbilt I didn't see the same quarterback and talking off the corner Derek Dooley he was just as perplexed Bryan was doing things last week that he had never seen the inaccuracies and again we saw the first row a little bit high and in this rain he's gonna have to watch that on third down the pocket holds blank stepped into trouble got around poets and I will try to run and it gets taken down behind the line of scrimmage Josh Pascal who sat out last season fighting melanoma in his foot is up to make the tackle the tackle for Kentucky and Pascal one of the many linebackers that are banged up for Kentucky their pin at that spot everybody playing with some Nicks and bruises but a great job there by Pascal and Chris Oaks the replacement for Kash Daniel as well keeping that pocket closed and getting Kelly Bryan out of bounds Tucker McCann too pointed away punt it away here's Josh Ali and he takes it out to the 34 yard line 49 yard punt 9 on the return and we'll see what the Kentucky offense looks like tonight we expect to see both quarterbacks Lynn Bowden jr. and saw your Smith Barry Odom's hoping the weather will make Kentucky one dementia we'll talk more about that in a moment AJ rose at first down it's a gain of six and that's one thing Kentucky has to do tonight is be good on first out they can't get in too many long passing situations with Boden Taylor thank you and welcome to Lexington Missouri and Kentucky in the prime slot tonight Missouri went three and out on their first possession a couple of incompletions first triana for Lynn Bowden junior the converted wide receiver at quarterback Tom Hart Jordan Rogers kokyu block should be a fun one tonight two very evenly matched teams in Missouri gets penetration from Trey Williams a local product at a rock Ridge High School and it's a loss of seven so then Bowden has moved into the starting spot for Kentucky we expect to see Bucky and sorry Smith the quarterback he loves him his son Lynn the third a couple of years ago he said he keeps me grounded and don't judge a book by it's cover seventy two tattoos for Lynn Bowden he said every single one of them has a special meaning to him including the brick road that he grew up on in Youngstown Pennsylvania Youngstown Ohio excuse me third and ten play clock at two and get it off four-man rush from Mizzou though he will step up and he is dangerous when he can break the pocket but I Nabal to pick up the first down next Bolton another stop from Missouri he's been a tackling machine lately Nick Bolton's playing at an extremely high level especially in place of kale Garrett really Missouri's best defensive player lost to injury and that right there is a situation contained Kentucky cannot find themselves in they can't get in third Long's first and second now positive yards gonna be so important to not put Bowden in those passing situations max Duffy fourth in the country in yards per punt had a bad one last week against Georgia to turn the game the shot Floyd is back in healthy takes a fair catch inside the 10 is 49-yard punt from the Australian max Duffy it'll be a long field for Kelly Bryant the Missouri Tigers when we reserve welcome back to Lexington Kentucky Kroger filled soggy and the weather is going to deteriorate as the night goes on at about nine o'clock Eastern they expect another front to roll through but not just rain but wind Kelly Bryant ran the Wing T offense at abbeville High School in Upstate South Carolina before he transferred to Wren started his college career at Clemson and with the ball fake he gives it to Larry around tree and Roundtree was able to find six why did misery have such a hard time moving the ball last week against Vandy it was it was hard to figure out because when you watch the film Vandy didn't do anything special Oh six-man box they ran a lot of games up front with the front four so I think there's a lot of pressure on this offensive line from Missouri to set the tone early in this game what would be an early indicator that Kelly Bryant has bounced back the accuracy we already did see one throw his first throw a little Aaron so I just want to see him get comfortable he was not comfortable last week Rd old for 2 in this game I want to see Derek Dooley line up a couple easy throws to get him in rhythms and get him populist third downs for a broke away Bernard a talented tight end split away from the line Jonathan Johnson in motion Kentucky brings for Bryant to the out route that's complete - Jonathan Nance and he slipped on the wet turf but he picks up a Missouri first down on a gain of eight and that right there really accurate but even better a confidence decision they were trying to hit the wheel route to the running back corner slept off stayed over the top Bryant made a great decision just to check the ball down and move the sticks Nancy Arkansas transferred originally committed to Southern Miss at a high school here's Tyler Beatty another number one if you missed her open the quote from the famous Missourian Nellie - is not a winner three nobody remembers and we'll see a lot of number one on both sides of ball for both teams Kelly Bryant 21 informed as a college football starter fourth in the conference in passing yards and yards per game and he will hand it off to Roundtree stays on his feet and Roundtree takes it to the logo Arana 14 before use of corker brought him down and keep an eye on plays like these that get stretched out and then cut vertical that's where you miss a guy like Kash Daniels we used to seen those type of plays dissecting where the quarter or the running back excuse me is gonna cut and making a tackle Chris Oates is in there he's athletic he's young and little inexperienced so see if that trend continues - Daniel out with a concussion that he suffered lastly found a crack back block Brian will scramble flats got a blacked-out field and Missouri moving the ball that time a 14 yard games a couple of first 10 runs for Roundtree then Bryant and sometimes when a quarterback is in a little bit of a funk as we saw Kelly Bryant last week some of the best the best way to get that confidence back get a couple runs early get some confidence get the ball moving in the right direction this is the tenth play of the drive 90% of Missouri's yards so far I've come on the ground board I'm motions out Brian through his progressions and that one falls incomplete dr. Derek Dooley about what Kelly Bryant likes and he likes to use his progressions get to the second third receiver yeah and that right there it's what we call a full field progression which means he starts on one side and no matter the coverage he's gonna work this same one two three progression started out out wide to the right you're gonna see his eyes go there is gonna come back to the crossing route over the middle that's a ball that's got to be put in the right place you can't miss high on those throws and even in the rain take a little bit off it that ball already slipping out at Kelly Bryant's hands a few times Bryant puts it in the belly of Beatty and Missouri's run game has been positive here early baiting able to rip off a gain of 12 the last three runs have all moved the chain and they've all kind of ended up cutting back towards the middle of the field as you see a couple missed tackles it's been a little bit of a trend for Kentucky Brian gets taken down from behind it's only gain of two Jordan Griffin came up from his safety spot senior from Riverdale Georgia this is a very good Kentucky secondary there wasn't expected to be a strength of this team this season after they lost so many guys up that side of the ball last year including a handful of NFL picks Roundtree nothing to Jamar boogie Watson in first man therefore Kentucky down Dre scared Kentucky one of the best in the country in defending the pass and now they're facing in third and eight that's pretty crazy for the secondary as you mentioned one of the biggest question marks coming into the season was this secondary I don't care who you play only given up three all season you're doing something right Ronnie Jackson Mike Edwards couple of guys who have moved on Josh Allen's seventh overall to the Jaguars from his defensive end spot by impressive they got hang out of a couldn't bring them down back at the back of the pocket and Brian Oh hamstring issue as Brian skipped out of bounds press the near sideline and there is very little depth at the quarterback position for Missouri as it stands a gain of 10 for Kelly Bryant not something you ever want to see a player do on the field go to that hamstring right away well it's not something you can shake off no it is not a terribly cold night it may be look chilly out there but it's it's wet but it's not like it's a freezing cold night you see him pull up just as you get to the 20 it's not like kind of turning your ankle and in hobbling for a few plays and then mobility kind of comes back to hamstring you if you feel that go it usually bugs you for the rest of the game if not puts you out of it Taylor Powell is the little hughes backup for Missouri the problem everybody can relate to quarterback depth in this day and age of college football is non-existent I'm third at 18 they're fine Beatty broke a couple tackles before gettin taken down solely a gain of seven there's not much faith in this Missouri kicking game as of late but dr. McCann is gonna come out to attempt the long field goal and this rain it's tricky snappers gonna have a good grip the holder especially when you go to spin the ball that's a lot harder when it does rain so keep the close eye on this snap and hold 45-yard attempt for McCann they miss about the same distance last week against Kentucky and that one never had it wide right and Missouri wastes a scoring opportunity of more importance is their quarterback injured a 15 play drive that Nets Missouri nothing and the Tigers will be back on defense scoreless with gonna have to go in the first quarter not a good sign for Missouri starting quarterback Kelly Bryant and the injury tent after pulling up lame on a quarterback run look like a hamstring issue try to get an update as soon as we can but so far this game looks like a bar fight nobody's gained anything here's in the early going Lynn Bowden jr. to the right side and he's able to find one let's take you back to the Kelly Bryant run there may have a devastating impact on Missouri non-contact injuries are always the worst especially when you go right to that hamstring imagine they're in the scent right now testing to see just how severe it is maybe wrapping it taping it and seen you can get out there and run around converted wide reciever Lynn Bowden juniors a quarterback for Kentucky took over a few games ago they lost their leader from last year took him to a ten win season and AJ Rose the Eagle Scout is able to find four yards interesting to see what Eddie Gran's wrinkle is the opposite coordinator for Kentucky each week he's had a different wrinkle in this run game for Lynn bone couple weeks ago who was the toss option had a play-action off that couple intricate plays last week it was double tight ends to one side this week maybe some more empty sets to the ground game Kobashi smoked in his first carry pass the Courvoisier for a first down Missouri and Kentucky scoreless through a quarter that is the end of the first quarter these two teams have been trading punches in a back haul of a local bar we go to the second quarter right after this couple of goose eggs through one quarter here in Lexington at Kroger field some are alongside Jordan Rogers welcome to SEC Saturday night it's really impressed if you'd consider what Kentucky's been through offensive the Eddie gran has basically had to invent a brand new offense for his wide receiver to run yeah and he's learning each week what Lynn Bowden can do what he's comfortable with which is why tonight the new wrinkle for Eddie gran is gonna be ten personnel one running back for wide receivers the reason I think spread the field space it out for Lynn Bowden so he can see and he can distribute some shorter passes that's where they struggled against Georgia and with Lynn bone in is being consistent and balanced throwing the football to complement runs vivace smoke is only able to find a couple Lynn Bowden is the best receiver for Kentucky junior from Youngstown Ohio and of Warren Harding high school he was a great high school quarterback came here with a bit of a chip on his shoulder his home state school Ohio State had no interest in him turned down a lot of Big Ten schools to come here to play for Mark Stoops also a Youngstown native as is their recruiting coordinator Mitch marrow a lot of chatter down there Missouri brings pressure and Boden able to find the receiver for a first down how impressed are you that Lynn Bowden has been able to it's after the passing game really impressed him he's just a natural athlete he's a natural thrower the football I love this call by Eddie gran it's a layup throw it's a hitch route but why I love this Missouri is gonna give you a ton of cover once man coverage and if we've noticed early in this game they're playing off look at the look at the space here between the receivers if I'm Eddie gran and I see that I'm gonna keep giving Lynn Bowden those quick easy throws because he can do those it's going to be easier now than later when the weather turns worse Bowden price out of her house at an for a gain of 43 there's a fourth capture this season to the freshmen and again in cover one man coverage with one safety high which means that middle of the field if he stays low is wide open Missouri plan off the receivers again here's Baltimore the club a crowd has shaped at the ten inside the five an 18-yard quarterback run that play right there was set up two weeks ago when Eddie grande started going to all the tops off toss option kept it play side and he knew he was gonna have that counter in his back pocket that's a great job of evolving this offense and these plays around limbo nets a counter play Missouri overcorrects thinking it's going play side and that gives Bolden some green grass remember Missouri without their leader on defense kale Garrett had a linebacker spot they are going big on the goal line now he's in touchdown Tadashi's smoke great look here goes up and over the top where's that ball at everyone does that's dangerous that is a dangerous play but the SAS Jaret guarantee know all it's got to do is touch that goal line let it play right there Matt Ruffalo on for the point after then kick is wide right and so Kentucky only puts six on the board the kicking game has been in adventure but a seven play 86 yard drive they lasted three minutes and 38 seconds highlighted by a controversial kiss by Bryce Oliver that covered 43 yards Lynn Bowden with a long run to set it up from just that side of the goal line and Kobashi smoked slick like Fonzarelli Ritz like cutting him miss with the kick bus arrives lumpke Alabama's Courvoisier smoke has the cats on the board but their first missed extra point of the season cost them an extra one it's six nothing Kentucky and a kickoff will go out of the back of the endzone this is turned into a really interesting rivalry in one it's not without drama last year for Oldfield Columbia Missouri Missouri's ten yard line four seconds left Ahmad Wagner caught a pass interference flag to the dismay of to Marcus AC and everybody in the building and in Kentucky was able to take advantage CJ Conrad may have pushed up but Kentucky got away with a 15 to 14 victory Mark Stoops said hey listen we're outplayed for everything but the last five minutes and what's lost in that ending his role Lynn Bowden played in that game had a punt return for a touchdown to get the momentum going for the cats and had a great game receiving Missouri with a planet Kentucky spoke with the fake toss Bryant remember playing with a hurt hamstring he's able to find maybe a yard Mark Stoops five and three conference play last year finished with 10 wins they went to the Citrus Bowl in the first time of four decades Kentucky had a winning record in conference SEC coach of the year in 2018 here's Roundtree and he's picked up six coaches love the fact that Mark Stoops was given time by a longtime ad to build the program and do it the right way they were very patient and Barry Odom would love to follow those footsteps and build Missouri into what Kentucky has become over the last couple of years third down Alberto Puebla nam goes off the field stunts up front came loose Kentucky says they got it officials say it still belongs to Missouri case cooked out of Carrollton Georgia was the one who's able to fall on it when oak away Balam okuni oh gosh poked away blue knobs not on the field I gotta think you gotta be going to this guy right here Jonathan Johnson gonna see him sit up in the zone right here Kelly Bryant works the left side of the field I feel like you get an easy throw in between zone coverage right there but again so surprising to see Oakland Wade when I'm come off the field on third down he's one of your best players you gotta have him out there Jordan Wright is the guy who knocked it down a note on open way but I'm in a moment a line drive from McCann and Josh Kelly has the chance for a solid return gets taken down coaching staff told us ship ball came out at the end in Missouri get it back or was he down today he was down 45 got 14 on the return missouri coaching staff says after aluminum misses some plays because his stamina isn't exactly where it should be and that's surprising for a guy who's a top-tier NFL prospect he could be a much more dangerous weapon for the Tigers if you're on the field more 60s and Ray 6-nothing on the scoreboard they wraps up the FloorMate at Keeneland here locally this afternoon or this weekend I should say when they're finished and so we decided to go with our 20 running of the SEC championship game Stakes you win you go to Atlanta in the SEC East Georgia has the best chance to win four and one with Florida has them atop the conference standings right now and LSU with the big win today 23:20 over Auburn jobber oh now with 30 touchdown passes through eight games haven't seen that in the SEC since Tim Couch did it for Kentucky in 1997 big winner Keeneland today Tom's dick top won the ninth race hose a $200,000 purse odds I'm gonna win some money never never happens when they appreciate that locally oh yeah pay their taxes fill the coffer second at 6:00 the rain has picked up again anytime any grant wants to come back to that poster out the safety for Missouri's clean extremely low and he play-action you're gonna have that middle of the field when you want to take it but the rain coming down it's gonna make it a little more difficult that's Josh Bledsoe in it safety Wilkins after a gain of 10 and you see what makes Lynn Bowden so dangerous and he is frustrated remember Kelly Bryant a hamstring injury in the first quarter Mark Stoops out to check on his competitor immediately saw your Smith has been dealing with injuries the last few weeks he would be the second string quarterback tonight you wonder ankle I mean whatever it is Boden knows it's you know the way he reacted seems like it's well he is a competitor and Eddie grant laughs he says I've got a big playbook I can put just about anything in it and Lynn Bowen would tell me he can execute anything in that playbook that's the same kind of look we saw to its uncle Milo we get hurt on a tackle that ankle kind of turns inside so sorry you're Smith read a great game against Florida over a month ago enters he's been battling through his shoulder and a wrist injury Jr from Cantonment Florida and he will hand it off a first down AJ Rose finds two yards for touchdowns and five picks Smith was magnificent especially through three quarters against Florida 23 of 35 to 67 a game that Kentucky lets slip away late double of bat penalties the miss kick a failure to convert on a short yardage down and it turned both seasons around how different it would be for Florida and for Kentucky Smith hands it off again and AJ was bottled up again I lost it to that time Nick Bolton coming off a career-high 15 tackles against Vanderbilt with the stuff Bowden is walking like he's coming back in and he is what it was hey bring him back Stoops actually brought it back Eddie gran has a completely different play call sheet for Sawyer Smith they're going to look to the sideline they're gonna get man coverage here sire Smith to throw after the deflection in sabotage alley but he's held short of the first down deflected off of Alan Daly jr. and Bowden back in on now a fourth and one accurate throw here tight coverage play by Manuel there to knock it away and bold back in Kentucky 5 to 12 a 4th down this season Bohdan keeps it barrels said ahead they picks up the Kentucky first down that was one V one Jordan Elliott caught him but only after Bowdoin had done enough to move the chain and some chatter from the ultra-competitive Lynn bogie he is I love it it's a great play called look to the sideline Missouri was a little bit light on the left side any grant attacks it good job by Bowden knowing he only has a yard to get get your head down get vertical and you're right he is fired up you mentioned the play sheets Eddie grant has two separate play sheets one for Lynn Bowden and one for Sawyer Smith that said different these quarterbacks are completely different plan depending on who's in from 20 yards out that was just a dominating run by the Kentucky offense of lying great double teams up front to open that hole for Rose ruffalo Miss and point after last time dicey on that one it's a dink and it is no good and start going for two yes Kentucky's left a pair on the board here in the first half AJ Rhodes the junior at a Cleveland Ohio former basketball standout runs his way to the end zone 12 nothing Peter roll what is that what is that I'm gonna need some explanation it's um see a Peter on the roster Brian just three of eight through the air it's interesting is usually a limit on how many footballs you can use in a game to get inspected by the officiating crew pregame and that one slips out of hands of Nance but as Mark Stoops told us last week against Georgia you'd assume again tonight that they will waive then to say let's bring in as many dry ones as we can find say with those footballs those things are like a brick and it becomes nearly impossible to throw they're gonna rotate those as much as possible this is as heavy as the rain it's been all night yeah and there's more coming we understand crossing line another job squeeze it it's a big third down here from Missouri watts for some games up front from this Kentucky defensive line defensive coordinator Brad light told me before the game I don't know how many folks were gonna run because we're worried about the legs of Kelly Bryant that takes your eyes off of your rest lanes doesn't allow you to keep your eyes on the quarterback but if his mobility is limited there may be more stunts in games from this Kentucky deal honor Missouri had an issue with that against Vanderbilt last week man rush here pocket holds out of the backfield downing product out of Bishop Miege in Kansas City he picks up seven and he's going to be held four yards short and Missouri will punt it away in the rain the Missouri offense has yet to show up tonight this is 95 yards in 29 plays but make sure not getting the run-in going some inaccurate throws a couple drops here and there the rain is really affecting Kelly Bryant and these receivers right now three yards per play for the Tigers Tucker McCain out of O'Fallon Illinois another lone about this Alegria the good for Missouri I can't quite get it before bounces into the end zone a 56-yard punt for McCann the nanny gran was the OC for Tommy Tuberville Cincinnati they started a game against Barry Eltham's Memphis team with gunner Kela quarterback they ended it with much e Lego a quarterback and so Barry Sidney I went and looked at Eddie did that game transitioning game plans from a drop back guide to a mobile quarterback this is how Hamburg and then Brody takes it to midfield and more we're looking for a block from Wagner and the Kentucky quarterback 46-yard run boy in that ten personnel that Eddie grant is getting in allows him to evaluate the box and watch this you're gonna see all these guys at the line of scrimmage which means one linebacker so if you get to the second level there's nobody there that's what's gonna happen here linebacker gets blocked there's nobody else at the second level and Bowden gets a lot of green grass that's that wrinkle that Eddie gran brought this week ten personnel spread them out see what they do in the box and attack from there on 2nd at 17 Rodrigues finds a couple I don't know why said second of 17 but it was first intended thank you listening I don't really pay attention to you you've got great company in that department Bohdan looking to throw back that was covered so he keeps it near side trying to fit it into a mod Wegener Wagner played three years for Fran McCaffery on the basketball court at Iowa if he were playing here with the youth that John Calipari has this season for Kentucky he would be their second leading returning scorer behind only easy Montgomery that's an action tomorrow on the SEC network you should stick around for them you're sticking around right yeah sure then I'm gonna be gone and miss a big matchup with Georgetown College they're now five don't laugh again Acey remember he was on the receiving end of the flag late in the game last year against Kentucky that time he was able to deny Brice Oliver I see again Kentucky had the middle of the field wide open and love to see Bowden or really any grand encouraged this to hit the middle of the field he set a straight up the field run away from the defender look at that on the other side of him there's no one there it's a great play there by AC on the outside to break it off they've gone back to chance poor in the kicking game he missed a key one against Florida and got benched an outpour from 43 remember ruffalo has missed two point afters so the Carousel continues and the line drive is good for Kentucky it's pick a kicker night for the Wildcats and chance cork comes through from 43 just drilled it no doubt there's one way to get on Stoops his good side yeah because he found the doghouse after that game against Florida it was a game of what s for Kentucky and poor freshmen from Anderson South Carolina after redshirting last year it was back in the good graces of this Kentucky coaching staff Missouri has been held in less than a hundred yards of offense in the first half Tyler Beatty will not return crossing route open Bryant goes there late it's still complete and Missouri will use the timeout here Jonathan Nance what is Kelly Bryant and not seeing within the scope of the passing game I just think he's making decisions a little bit late that's what we saw in the tape from Vanderbilt last week either his eyes were going into the wrong place the wrong time or he was just late making decisions there couldn't let that ball go half a second earlier it's very looking at a second and three that's just one thing they're dual he's gonna have to start doing is figuring out what he's comfortable with and continue to dip into that well all right so we talked about trying to play with a wet ball or what's the key weirdly enough it's actually easier to throw the ball without the laces when it's wet and I'll tell you why hold on this give me okay there we go that's okay all right or when it's dry you usually use you're gripping fingers these these right here but when it's wet the ball is a tendency to slip out you don't have much surface area on it when you don't throw with the laces naturally your grip gets a little softer and you get more surface area on the football so it comes out a little bit cleaner weirdly enough it's easier to throw without the laces when it's raining Kelly Bryant throws with the laces and is continuing to do so I'm Sookie this is a rainbow yes that's how we know and Kentucky had plenty of practice this week with wet ball drills oddly enough one of the things they didn't do was throw because the ball get so help it gets so heavy Eddy granted said listen I've learned you don't want a quarterback out there throwing a ball that weighs a pound heavier than a normal girl changes the way you throw gets your arms sore but interestingly enough Lynn Bowden is completely comfortable dry or wet drawing the ball without the laces so this Ray not has big of an issue for him as is for Kelly Bryant I mean I hated throw without laces but it was wet it's weird it makes it easier you relax your grip it comes out cleaner you grip the ball hard when it's wet it's gonna slip out of your fingers and we've seen Brian this a few times high tonight because of that should we be standing in a puddle with these electronics crowd we got to clean this up Hoos get a towel Tom come on make yourself useful Haddad el piso mojado we continue the impression again 14 and the cat's fine with 23 seconds left and a half it's Kentucky ball with a chance to add to their lead Jordan Wright with the recover the question is that a fumble or an incomplete pass if the takeaway stands Kentucky and field goal range already that ball is out that's a fourth sack for Kentucky tonight second on this possession Bryant is starting the motion but that arm is not coming forward and that ball is out and out early what a job by Wright to get to Bryant now find it and they looked at that plane convert confirmed it was a fumble they got three timeouts they could run the ball here and they will vote maybe a facemask by Elliott there's the flag Missouri was undone by penalties last week against Vanderbilt Kentucky 120 yards with 12 flags it was the most yardage surrendered and penalties for any SEC team this year and Elliott who played fantastic game on the defensive side of the ball had to keep Enel T's on Vandy's game sealing drive both times jumping offsides if I'm outtie grant I keep the ball on the ground here again I mean average play takes about six seconds so you run the football here G do you score great or if not you pick up a few yards call a timeout still got ten seconds and an opportunity to take a shot to the endzone if you need to and if you are gonna pass a model Agner right there six-five up look in his direction Boden inside the five stretches to the bow and he is in Kentucky pushes another class thanks to the fumble me down has the ball reached the plane yet oh yeah for Jersey and they will bring it into the first half at the 1908 Kentucky has out game Missouri better than two to one tonight 213 298 the totals and Kentucky will receive the ball to start the second half Kellie Bryant's leg a concern for Missouri they haven't gotten going on that side of the ball Kentucky's defense not just pitching a shutout but the takeaway on the Kelly Bryant strip sack helped the cats add the final touch down down on the rain cold Santa Fe with Mark Stoops how infectious is the energy that Lynn Bowden brings to this football team Lynn yeah yeah he's amazing really playing extremely hard made the one mistake would put the ball on the ground we had total confidence in him we knew he'd come back and make some plays for us he's throwing the ball really good you complimented your defensive line with us yesterday did you anticipate they'd be this good we've been playing better and better the last three weeks or so getting more more confident the guys are playing good and playing hard is anything changed with your plans for the kicking game in the second half no we went with chance there and he hit the field goal and the extra point so hopefully he'll keep it rolling Thank You coach thank you just about everything working for Mark Stoops in Kentucky now 22 nothing the score here let's take it back to the guys who have hung a shingle the law firm of dari Thoren in Chizik gentlemen a couple of major concerns for a Missouri head coach Barry Odom number - slow down Kentucky's one game in number two is his quarterback healthy enough to lead a Missouri come back on the other side Mark Stoops is getting just what he wanted his defense is taking the ball away they're pitching a shutout and his wide receiver turned quarterback has been nothing short of sensational the eraser into second half time art alongside Jordan Rogers Koch Oobleck down on the sidelines Missouri fans are saying it's crazy we know Lynn bones gonna run the ball how come you can't stop the quarterback run the quarterback run is the great equalizer especially when they do the check with me so when you see Kentucky look into the sideline Eddie gran is just going okay where are the numbers where they light and adding an extra blocker when the quarterback is the runner you can always have an extra blocker at the point of attack and right now it's just a number numbers game that Kentucky's winning vote in just three of five for 54 yards through the air but I think the real concern for Missouri is getting their offense going at the same time kick is driven out of the back of the endzone let's go down to our soggy dog Cole cubelet Thom I talked to Barry Odom coming on a halftime he said listen we got to play more bass defense we're moving around too much it's opening up big one games for big run lanes for Lynn Bowden in this Kentucky rushing attack he said Kelly Brian's gonna be fine to go in the second half he also said we feel like we still have time to try and establish the run we're not gonna get away from our offense just yet but that does have to happen if we're gonna come back and win this football game raindrops keep falling on your head and you see him splashing because both quarterbacks left for a moment or two due to injury they both returned Lynn Bowden has got to be given Missouri fans nightmares with his quarterback run game he Nance enough to AJ Rozier back in 1991 Iowa State quarterback Kevin Caldwell play the entire game with gloves he completed only 1 of 5 passes but he ran the ball 30 times for 154 yards Missouri never made an adjustment they never stopped him and on a cold day in Columbia they lost til running quarterback now let's see what kind of adjustments Barry Odom and his defensive coordinator Ryan Walters can put into effect as Cole said I want to get simple and trying to get more linebackers at this level we saw early in the game a lot of linebackers and guys stacked at the line of scrimmage and when you do that it's high-risk high-reward you're either gonna get to him quick or there's nobody at the second level to make that tackle and that was the story of the first half so Missouri get back to base defense means more line reading the misdirection and being there at that second level to tackle ball-carrier miseries showing more depth now Tyree Gillespie has entered the game for the first time tonight at safety remembering he had to sit out the first half due to a targeting penalty last week he's replacing a true freshman at that safety spot runner pass on 3rd or Nate and I think it's got to be a passing situation look at not much respect given here on the short side and that's where they go Ahmad Wagner and a ball is underthrown Jarvis where had the coverage for Missouri Bowden not close oh and he had he had is it was a Wagner there I think it was the ad Wagner down the sideline if he wanted to devour Jarvis ware was just reading his eyes trying to read Boden Boden left that back shoulder if he puts that upfield where had no eyes on the receiver on that one the Australian max Duffy to punt it away to a shot Floyd fifth in the FBS 16 and a half yards per return for Floyd back from injury Duffy takes his time is the coverage to your time to get downfield 45 yar pod back down to the field at Cole you know guys one of the things that I noticed last week was a fader bill defense led by Jason Harbor really mixed up their fronts a lot of different things but when I say mix up their fronts it's not like they played a lot of different defenses they take a linebacker put him down in a one technique in between the center and the guard they would take it outside linebacker line him up at a three technique when they would blitz sometimes two defensive lineman with their hands on the ground sometimes three defensive lineman with their hands in the ground they were in five plays with just two defensive linemen with their hands on the ground they were in three plays with one defensive lineman with this hand on the ground those looks caused a lot of confusion for the Missouri offensive line when I talked to Brad white before the game he said we're gonna try to do more of it we're gonna try to utilize that to use a little bit of window dressing to confuse this team there's the Missouri offense it's been stuck in quicksand for half and they swaddle him Larry Roundtree well Cole with the arts-and-crafts there I was gonna say the same thing I love that dummy that whole table was covered with different looks that Vanderbilt gave Missouri last week to confuse them in Kentucky hasn't had to do a ton of that tonight they've just been more dominant tackle to tackle the Missouri Brian wants to throw on the rain over the middle and another drop from Missouri I've got the unofficial count at six you guys are talking about artsy already beats you in the drawings two weeks ago an officer at Mississippi saw a figure I'd kind of kind of keep that thing going for you there so I feel like I'm a leader in the clubhouse when it comes to being artistic he turned it someone else's work that's called cheating you know what though watching use a little hobbled outside the pocket he's not in a hundred percent and if they can't use them outside the pocket second half here's satyr baiting he's got blocking down with a sprint past midfield it's a foot race now and the Memphis native will take it the difference for Mizzou it's a 74 yard run Wow Missouri has had zero success throwing the football from the pocket we saw Kelly Bryan a little hobbled getting outside the pocket it's a great job by Derek Dooley of setting up the screen when Kentucky wasn't expecting it nice easy blow for Kelly Bryant the Tyler baby is a heck of a player we talked about a few number ones on both sides of the ball we left that guy out of the equation but he is a playmaker he showed off some speed there my longest Missouri play of the year the Tigers get on the board they convert a third and 12 of the pass behind the line of scrimmage it turns in to a Missouri touchdown it's Tyler Beatty and Missouri is finally on the board and finally found somebody who could catch the football his running back Tyler Beatty and Beatty did the bulk of the work on this the weather has turned for the worse it is pouring down rain now we expect the wind gust to pick up and the wind Col is already a lot more windy on the field than it was in the first half is it not yeah it's definitely picked up a little bit still not bad still not what we're anticipating it to be by the end of the game but the rains definitely has heavy as it's been all night so interesting to see what this going to do for the Missouri office I think it changes much for Kentucky they're gonna be ground-and-pound keep up with Lynn Bowden but for Missouri it could change things make it a little more difficult Barry Odom get really excited when he saw the weather forecast he told us in our meeting yesterday he wanted it to pour rain he thought it would make Kentucky one dimensional and while they happen to an extent Missouri has it been able to stop it and it's a 12 yard run a first down for Bowdoin again boy right now this could suck the offensive line is moving bodies up front there are big holes for these Kentucky backs to run through we talked about Jordan Elliott earlier in this game and right now Kentucky is choosing to go away from him more often than not you see him lined up right here we're seeing a lot more runs to the right for Kentucky Bohdan on the lead from smoke five yards Jordan amidst an offensive line it's not just the offensive line it's the tight ends as well 83 Justin Riggs had two big blocks on back-to-back plays an absolute pancake on the previous play driving his opponent into the turf you get excited about those pancakes huh pancakes Peter Rose cockroaches I love them all how about waffles Neal waffle guy yeah not so much when I'm playing football or watching film but to eat yeah absolutely well waffle wit store some sausage bacon and egg in between Levante Thomas Lynn Bowden reached out to the fans via social media this is a program that is relying on her support especially through a ten win season last year and he was begging with his fan base and Big Blue Nation to keep encouraging this team there's a lot on the line for Kentucky in this game drop this one it's gonna be really hard for him to make a bowl look to the sideline I wouldn't be surprised to see a run-off tackle in this direction but lost the football Missouri there and the Tigers scooped it up as Josh Bledsoe finds a few yards in the reserve the Tigers catches the break they're looking for second time Bowden is putting on the ground and this is this is what Kentucky Repsol last week in preparation for the rain and all this week you mentioned earlier Tom they didn't throw the football wet a ton but they did work on the ball security and the ball handling between the quarterback and the running back Bowden just has to be extra careful when you stick that ball on the running backs gut you pull it back there's a lot of moving parts slippery ball easy to let it go and hit the turf just like that and how important is it to get timely Gillespie back after sitting at the first half with the targeting foul he forced the fumble Bledsoe found it Missouri getting creative here Roundtree mad at the line of scrimmage just to get back to the line of scrimmage TJ Carter of the stop at a Whitfield Academy in Mableton Georgia pretty good job up there just throwing the blocker out of the way pocket holds for pal but everybody's covered in a whole China take off with it pal picks up the first down in a few more 13 yards scrambled by the redshirt sophomore and that's what they needed I mean that's just what Kelly Brian was not able to do because of the hamstring injury injury pretty good coverage downfield may have had an option late here but good job of just using his feet getting outside the pocket make it a positive play the take Roundtree off late Dawson downing now in at tailback the winded Kentucky defense downing the former walk-on his dad played at Missouri back in the 70s he's able to pick up just one this is what happened early in the game Kelly Bryant on a quarterback run renourish his hamstring at the end and that's what he's so good at I mean eluding pressure getting downfield using his legs but when he's not able to use his legs with that hamstring injury really makes him one-dimensional and Missouri struggling on offense needed a quarterback with some legs the ability to get outside the pocket and make positive place floats one to the outside all din by Knox a gain of eight that's a great job by Powell there we talked about throwing the football without laces he caught that one didn't need to find the laces through the ball without a nice accurate throw came out clean last week in the Georgia game a combined 50 yards passing between the two quarterbacks Babu bantering at the cutback get across Hawks Bryan was using laces and like I said it's quarterback preference but Powell comes in here look at this no laces that just looks weird it does but I tell you what if it makes you more effective in the rain you're more relaxed the bus spins more consistently the harder you grip the more wet the sloppier comes out of your hand is very going for it for two to five to seven this year our fort down till the slant I am complete Kentucky holds and Missouri turns it over on downs gives you a chance to look back at the play calling instead of taking a field goal in that situation get a little momentum maybe nothing's guaranteed even a field goal from this range without wet it is out there and this isn't a terrible ball you want to miss these slants low definitely not high especially in the rain again throwing with no laces it's just a little bit too far on the back hip there's a second drive of 12 plays or more for Missouri that has resulted in 0 points Christopher Rodriguez two yards this right here this is a drive that can change the game if you're Kentucky and you milk the clock you get this into the fourth quarter points are not this game starts to get a little out of reach being two scores rain in this heart of the fourth quarter so important drive for Missouri to stay in this stop Kentucky don't let him milk the clock here misery all over the Tosh to Rodriguez and as we head to the fourth quarter Kentucky will be looking at a third down Kentucky's won five straight in this series trying to stretch it to six to better position themselves for a stretch run look like Missouri found some offense but they got nothing after that long drive it's a 22 to 7 lead for Kentucky through three at a rainy Kroger field great weather for a duck by the way I did some moonlighting last night I appeared on the high school football broadcast between Boyle County and bourbon county you know when I ducked out of Tony's for a minute 14 year old play-by-play announcer Jack little was at the mic he was fantastic he might come finish this one up it's girl wins the trade deadline can I can I make a transaction could they job Jack Kentucky looking at a third and seven you didn't miss me when I left dinner a big stick for Nick Bolton he took over for the injured Cal Garrett he has been magnificent 15 tackles against Vandy last week three behind the line of scrimmage it has been all over the field he see him right here as the season goes on he's getting quicker and quicker at diagnosing these runs I tell you what kale was the leader and the heartbeat of this defense but Nick Bolton is a freak athlete at that linebacker position you saw it right there at two picks early this season against West Virginia to go with ten tackles Duffy wide open I'm taking it flags galore as a dangerous call it's like going down rock quarry Road with only one headlight but it paid off for him Rizzo Love play is a run for a first down after the play was over personal foul a hit out of bounds a member of their kicking team this is a 15-yard penalty but will result in first and 10 so the drive continues for Kentucky is the number of the fouling Player of the kicking team for the late hit out of bounds and as he always does you're gonna see him work this way read read late everybody flies out and he just takes off great work with the dashes look at everyone with their back turn yeah there was nobody blocking on that play he read I think he was trying to adjust the football they get slipped a little bit and he took a peek up and there was just nobody home for that Missouri yeah he is I mean even to the end there he's still thinking am I gonna kick it at my kick at me that's a true read that was not called a fake but he has the latitude to read it see it and react into trust from Stoops for his putter pays off big his dream job is to be a head coach in the Australian Football League if that ever happens looks like he'll big gambler Bowden taken down Kentucky now can work clock into the fourth quarter with a 22 to 7 lead and they should be perfectly content to try and keep it on the ground absolutely again like I said with the rain coming down like it is it's tough to play from behind especially to scores down so important that Kentucky lets every second tick off this play clock and for limbo news not used to be in these situations that much he might need a reminder don't snap that football until under five seconds and he's waiting right here and see how far down he takes it Jr takes a shot and they'll check out another Jarvis we're with the ill-advised pop out of bounds and he may be worse for the way he ended up being the last one to get up 31 yards scramble it's getting chippy logan Sandberg in the middle of a no surprise here and it's amazing just how slippery bone is hardly looks like he's running full-speed until he turns the corner this is such good vision and there's the extracurricular activity here the late hit out of bounds and and then where I thought where's slipped he ended up getting popped by Kentucky player afterwards we might have a couple flags bones averaging 10 yards a carry Jourdan honored 63 yards already for the wide receiver playing quarterback it's unbelievable I mean not only is Eddie gran have a great game plan and creative ways to get him space but his vision is unreal the world on the field of the play is a run for a first down after the play was over late hit out of bounds number eight of the defense also unsportsmanlike conduct number 89 of the offense offsets this is the r89 Spurs fortunately conduct out of the game I got John McDade as the best communicator in college football Allen daily erased a 15-yard penalty with one of his own watch number 89 at the end after number 8 with the late shove goes all night says that's my quarterback that's my quarterback spot team a little teo there for maybe nine no bones not used today he's not used to having the bodyguards right as a receiver that he gets when he's a quarterback that's a couple for Rodriguez bone six one two hundred pounds he's not a little guy I mean you thinking up like the Antwaan Randle owls and guys like that who have been dual threat wide receiver turned quarterbacks trying to protect him a lot from taking hits it's not really concern for boat I mean it's a concern canoes you don't want to risk losing it he's so valuable but he is well built he's well built he's thick he can take the beating that this offense needs him to with how much they run the ball through him and he got popped there but stayed on his feet no game Terry Gillespie another shot like Gillespie he comes up and lays the hat yeah that's the dangerous penalty last week I mow his son if Andy quarterback knocked him out of the game yeah that's one of those things if you either got that killer instinct or you don't and he comes up and hits you as hard as he can every time and it's gonna lead to some target it's gonna lead to some penalties and tell you what it'll make you think twice and lower in your shoulder when he's an old Zuri's showing pressure here this is going to be a cover zero look no woody no Safety's on the back end here Bowdoin has no safety blocking on the edge he's gonna do it again so remember a 33-yard to extend the Kentucky League is one yard off of his career-high yardage and again with no safety help the counter gets linebackers to flow in one direction and as soon as boat hits the second cover there's nobody there that's the risk of going cover zero against a running quarterback you don't have the numbers that you normally would if they just hand it off the quarterback is now the Russia there's an extra blocker if you get to that second level there is no buddy their chance poor and we got a flag after this is what Bowden was able to do a little shot there at the end incredible day in Death Valley number two Alice she was able to pull away late and hold on for a 23-20 win choke burrow 32 of 42 321 and a touchdown his sixth 300 yard game this year what else stood out to you that game I think the recipe of how to slow LSU down was there I mean you get pressure on jobber with four you can play covers on the back end they made him uncomfortable early in that game that's what's gonna take though you got to have a good defensive line you can't blitz him he'll make you beg from a big it's gonna be a lot of good one-loss teams they're there looking the outside looking in at the playoff system and I thought that was key as palettes this one go deep and incomplete I thought that was key late in that game it wasn't mentioned during the broadcast but for Oklahoma to make that final score respectable because if that would have gone the other way and been a blowout that would have been a really bad loss from a point differential they made it respectable they were one possession away from signing that and it could have been really ugly but Oklahoma doesn't score those last two touchdowns look you have human beings in the committee looking at records looking at games thinking back over things that the score is very indicative to those guys sometimes you know even though you watch the game it may not have been though he's splitting hairs here's down and again Dawson downing is an interesting story he grew up a big Missouri fan so much so then when his grandparents offered to take him to a college football game he was all for it and then they told him that game was in Lawrence Kansas he threw a fit he said there is no way you're taking me to a Kansas game that one out that was at just seven years old and by the way that Missouri Kansas rivalry has bubbled back to the surface announced this week they will meet again on the hardwood a six-game series starting next to set where the game in Kansas City Sprint Center talked with Missouri athletic director Jim Stark today I said Jim here's the deal they got to build a statue of you I mean you got the Kansas game back on the schedule that's pretty cool I mean I love those matchups and we're seeing some football matchups I'd love to see Texas Texas A&M come back I mean it's good for the fans it is it absolutely is those regional territorial rivalry games are so good for the sport you hate to see those go away at times chance for a return and not so much when we return we could take a deeper dive into the border war and a surprise stat you may not know about it I thought it my favorite missouri-kansas game but I chose the one in which Raef LaFrentz and Jacque Vaughn were outplayed by Corey Tate and Danny elucha back in 97 at the her and Center Roy Williams team came down to the wire and Corey tape patent bill represent from the free-throw line and a double overtime the Tigers knocked off the French and company there's your Daniel Uche sighting so the border war will be revisited rivalry back for the first time since 2012 Kentucky to the ground game here's what I wanted everybody out there to know here's some facts about the border war first met in 1907 James Naismith was the head coach of the Kansas basketball team that year remember he invented basketball never won a game against Mizzou its back who's that tell you more about Missouri's elite basketball history and you slow down you would that Tom Hart likes to throw daggers huh saw your Smith is now in a quarterback for Kentucky I want you to come to the game with me next year Kansas City it's gonna be fantastic now a Kentucky basketball is kind of reigniting and old school rivalry they've got an exhibition game tomorrow SEC network against Georgetown Oh College Georgetown college rating NAIA national champs on the annual tournament and Municipal Auditorium to Kansas City last spring Tom Hart promoting that thing more than Kanye Jesus is king see I was at Rupp last night you get over there Cole I didn't make it those babysitting you at Tony's you geez lifts babysitter sticks around to the end of the night Kentucky is able to convert the first down by the way sec sizzle in the world series Missouri's Max Scherzer never pitched to the SEC but he'll take the mound for the Nationals tomorrow night game 5 he's three and olders postseason with a 3-1 strikeout to walk ratio and LSU's Alex Bregman with a grand slam for the Astros tonight we talked about throwing a wet ball years ago at the SEC Tournament Bregman told me that I'm balls that come through the grass late at night when some of the do is set in he does the same thing that you're talking about with a football he throws a changeup so you don't want to squeeze it tight throw a two seamer forced him across you wrap the entire hand around the baseball less juice but more control interesting it's fun around like a carousel it roses like you guys see that we had a great chat with AJ Rose yesterday and we talked about some of his family history viƱas brother both Eagle Scouts his dad is 611 yet that's that's a face mask it's the definition let's teach tape right there teach state AJ rose won the Pinewood Derby is the Boy Scout he said the race was a national television I never did that it's not as easy as it sounds you were about to tell the story about his dad yeah I mean his dad is 611 and they're playing driveway basketball before AJ Rose finished up his high school career and his dad felt like he had one big game left in him he said he dominated me he even dunked on me and then he said younger brother you're up next he beat him both back-to-back then probably retired his knees after that the only thing harder for AJ was playing hockey City I thought high school we'd be able to lay people out and check that won the case hockey was no fun I lasted for days I love how he told us his dad was done after that yeah well no more pick-up basketball he left on the wind retired drops mic 18 years he was saving up for that one-on-one game when he came in Jojo Kemp was 2 running back guys like boom Williams and Benny Snell came through the program now is this into Jojo Kemp on the radio this afternoon and he talked about building this program he was part of Mark Stoops first recruiting class usually when you come in to be recruited the coaches will show you a full stadium they showed him and his other recruits a picture of an empty state is should you come here and we get it going and we're gonna fill this thing how about that for motivation that's real you know you're not selling something that's that's a mirage that's not real you're saying look you have an opportunity to do something here that hasn't been done you can go somewhere where they've won championships they've had success and you can be just another team that's done that where you can come here and do something that literally hasn't been done that's what Stoops Mabel do in this short little run he's had two wins his first year than five and five and seven and a break through to ten wins last year and a trip to the Citrus Bowl Duffy has earned a gold star tonight a latest Tony's open just kidding I know he was downing again he's gonna say they'd keep the kitchen open for you yeah let's call ahead Kentucky will put the rap Sunday 29 to seven victory Missouri went through two quarterbacks the offensive line was banged up and the Tigers remain winless on the road very autumn and Mark Stoops made at midfield and in a must-win game for Stoops and Kentucky's postseason hopes they turn it over to their star Lynn Bowden and he did not disappoint 204 yards on the ground Kentucky wins this Stoops is with Kubik Lynn Bowden fantastic for you again tonight what was different about this plan than earlier plans with him at quarterback well I think our coaches did a great job coach gran the offensive coaches did a great job put him in a position to be successful and Lana's just being limp he is tough as nails he'll do anything we ask him to do I thought he threw the ball well tonight we kept him off balance in the run game where we were keeping but keeping them off-balance running that both ways and and if you did a nice job we debated rowing the broadcasts he could be the most valuable football player to any team in this league how do you view his value to your football team well I you know I don't think we would have anyone you know not very many wins you know the last couple weeks when when Sawyer was banged up and he's just getting back to a hundred percent right now but we would have a tough time without that this guy that's for sure let's just bring him in Lane we talked about the plan with you but tell us about this guy right here in how he motivates you and how he keeps you guys focused you know he's always on me you know he know where I come from so he know what to say to get me going you know so you know just just having him in my corner unit I think this probably one of the best things that ever happened to me in my life defensively how did you feel about the execution tonight fantastic I really think coach white did a phenomenal job the guys played hard they played with great determination we talked about it all week but they all played hard when you play hard good things are gonna happen you were a you're able to overcome a couple of fumbles bad-weather knew you weren't gonna be able to do much in the air tonight how were you able to overcome all that adversity you know I'm just just just pursuing just being being able to just stay you know just center with my team you know the coaches they trust me you know every time I did make a mistake that I can the sidelines you know was nothing but comfort you know you know there did you tell me not we know you got it you know you got it just just just leave it on leave it alone do you ever sit back sometimes and say I'm not a receiver anymore I'm a quarterback now oh no no no nothing like that you know I'm exactly you know I'm doing what they brought me here to do just an athlete huh he once played offense too and he probably would if he wasn't playing so I made snaps he can do it coach thank you very much hi thank you thank you no problem I want to thank my fans - the ones are staying stayed out here in the rain man I just wanted fit I won't thank them since you did that tell us about the motivation to send out the tweet that you did begging these fans to stick with you guys earlier this week you know I just know what type of drive our team and our coaches guys so you know I know we win and we're not losers we just won one again thank you very much appreciate Lynn Boden's been through a lot one of his latest tattoos earliest I should say was the Chinese symbol for death but lately as his life has turned and he's had more fun and enjoyment his last two of the 72 live and life and Lynn Bowden for the performance again for the ages tonight 21 carries 204 yards he takes his Kentucky team on his back with a 23 point second quarter Kentucky didn't need to come back this time they had control from beginning to end in a downpour in the Commonwealth quarterback health was an issue all night but Kentucky's run game dominated 359 yards of offense nearly 300 on the ground at Kentucky pulls away from Missouri for Jordan Rogers and Cole Kubek I'm Tom Hart good night from Lexington to the studio and SEC now
