2019 MEAC Football: North Carolina A&T vs Florida A&M

[Music] you you tropical storm nestor is gone and all eyes of the HBCU football community are on Tallahassee Florida today as number one North Carolina ENT gets set to take on number two Florida a.m. hello everyone I'm Keith miles along with Albert Chester the only HBCU quarterback to ever win the division one double a national championship and Albert we've got a MEAC midseason Championship style game here today no doubt about it Keith the Aggies were off last week but they bring a ground attack that's second to none in the country the Ratliff cardiac win in Orangeburg South Carolina last week have an aerial Tackett I think we great people proud to see I'm expecting an explosion like the fourth of July today the Aggies are led by running back Jermaine Martin the Rattlers led by quarterback Ryan Stanley both players could be candidates for Offensive Player of the Year in the Mid Eastern Athletic Conference and Albert they lead their team no doubt about it these guys pull the trigger to make it go for both teams it should be an exciting ballgame we've got a great one ahead it's fab you and North Carolina A&T or the MEAC Digital Network and on ESPN 3 stay with us [Music] Memorial Stadium it's the Rattlers and Aggies of Florida mm and North Carolina A&T the top two HBCU teams in the country and they're set to square off in Bragg Memorial Stadium let's take a look at the Rattlers starting offensive line up they'll receive the opening kick as the Aggies won the toss and half defer to the second half it's Marcus Williams at the X receiver Tariq Akbar starts at the left tackle the left guard is Terrell Reed Brian Crawford is the center Keenan Forbes the right guard Andre Regis is the right tackle kumari Young is the tight end at running back it will probably be Z receiver and that is Xavier the x-man Smith and that is the Rattlers starting line of the Aggies will kick it off and it will be Noel Ruiz who will kick off for A&T and we'll give you that Aggie recruited by rural homes to come to Florida and him but when Earl was fired he went to North Carolina A&T and became a nagging Williams Simpson is before Bank Israel Spivey is the see wide receiver and that's the offensive lineup for A&T with a third down and nine yards to go on their first possession offensive possession of the afternoon Khalil Carter Jermaine Martin stopped for only one yard on his first carry of the afternoon play-action he wants to pass has time fires his pass out here and it's caught it will be a catch and it will move the chains for the Aggies nice throw by Clea pounds redshirt junior out of Tyrone Georgia transfer to A&T from South Carolina they got some great football players make aliyah Carter can not only run the football but he can throw that football - he's got a nice zip on there and - for A&T balls resting at the North Carolina A&T 48 yard line and Khalil Carter this time under center it's like a power play they give it to Martin and Martin shakes off one rattly he's going to lean forward and that should be enough for a first down for A&T they got enough movement at the point of attack that 510 199 Martin was able to pull over and get that extra yard for the first down and that will set the Aggies up in Rattler territory ball's gonna be at the 49 yard line Oh FAMU and here we go North Carolina A&T ready to go they ship the big tide in and this time Carter wants to pass fires downfield got a man back there but it's going to be incomplete it was intended for Elijah Bell Elijah bells outstanding receiver Albert he had a great game against us a year ago 6-2 to 21 the senior out of Wheeling West Virginia and he is their go-to guy he's at six - I mean he can run good courage man courage treading on the post great pass and great coverage all right here we go third check that second down and ten yards to go for A&T Carter Rattlers doing a lot of shifty Carter pulls it down he's going to run this time and Carter's going to get held up and then finally dropped at the 43 yard line a FAMU and so Carter there you go Albert will pull it down and run - if he if he gets the Green Lane and he becomes a running back man that at 2:30 when did that field buy more like a fullback running that football third down about three to go for A&T this time the Aggies gonna send triplets to the near boundary Carter Rattlers threatening blitz now drop-off now it's gonna be four receivers in the bounder they throw the wide receiver screen he makes the catch and it's gonna fight his way down near the 30-yard line of FAMU that will be a first sets up fires the the sprint they out it's caught fighting for more yards it's going to pick up the first down Khalil Carter has a live long man he threw a little quick look in over there and that's a long throw and he shot that ball up with a lot of velocity great throw Zachary Leslie on the receiving end picks up the first down for the Aggies down in the red zone for the first time this afternoon at the FAMU 18 yard line and so the Aggies are on the move here in Tallahassee [Music] Kalil Carter looking to the sideline to get his play receivers twins to the near side now gonna flank another one
