2014 Chevrolet Silverado Coolant Temperature Sensor Quick Fix!!

[Music] they should really put the battery right there i don't understand why i thought they got two fuse boxes i have no idea option is we're gonna be changing the coolant temperature sensor i just turned the ignition on what happens is the fans they just come on immediately the uh temperature was reading at 160 of course it's cold but i get on the road and the temperature doesn't go up so it's staying at a steady 160. first thing i did was change the battery because after a while my battery my vehicle stopped starting so then after that uh the problem came back which is leaving me to believe it's the coolant temperature sensor a lot of people saying this on this side a lot of people saying this on that side that bad boy is right there we're gonna go to a parts store pick up that part and then we're going to change that out all right so we back we just go pick up the sensor [Applause] well it's causing all these problems so got my part got my teflon i'm gonna need my money all right so we're gonna go ahead disconnect the battery uh just for safety reasons so now next the sensor is located behind this behind this housing right here to the bottom so what you're going to want to do is pull up on it and go ahead and release that so the next you can see down there that white thing that's that's the sensor right there so what you're going to want to get a 19 millimeter deep socket and then you could pull that puppy right out it should come with teflon or some type of sealant already in the threads yeah all right so like this oh like this okay let me get right there oh good all right oh yeah there we go all right so now as you guys can see the new sensor is in and all we got to do is plug it in and then test it out boom so my sensor's back we got that back in got a little cooling oh but that should dry up yeah look at that under some type of corrosion the forward fellas yep shout out to all the firefighters oh yeah touch drive came back fans still not on they on but like they're not blowing like stupid fast like that you know stay tuned for the next one peace
