42 seconds left Michigan State has two timeouts left you have plenty of time take care of your business get the first down and that Marches thing trying to take a couple of shots get it down to a 20 25 yard line a little draw play wouldn't be bad here in this situation either especially if you catching the Blitz and you get through that front line a lot of times Michigan likes to bring their left if you go for it you're still gonna have to kick a long field go into the wind that's not worth it we give miss Michigan a chance to take a shot for the Hail Mary into the end zone take the headsets off and going in just so you both these offenses Chris right now they're discombobulated there's something going on whether they have to get organized to have time to come back out have a approach what's the mindset behind using both Gardner and Denard Robinson well a little bit just because it's part of the offense that we've been working on you know when they're both on the field at the same time and in Devon's you know throwing the ball pretty good for us is the wind a factor in that decision there's a lot of what have you learned about the wind that you hope to apply in the second half well you know the one thing is a kicking game it's affecting the heck out of that and you know when you have that that's a big concern thanks coach Dave sounds like from that he doesn't Drive to start the game not a whole lot of offense since Michigan State with a good first drive they didn't get a lot of offense going but they were backed up their last three possession and they were going into the win first of all credit to both defenses I thought Michigan's defense plays a great first half every suspect first drive five Michigan State's offense I want to change it up a little bit coach I might up to tempo just to try to get some rhythm not only for the players but for the play caller well they have to do something and also Michigan a rotating two quarterbacks there's no rhythm right now and you're taking arguably the best not only the best player on this field for the best in the country and you're not letting them run the ball let him run the ball let him do what he does well he struggled throwing the ball in the second quarter Denard Robinson was all of seven passes Michigan State will start the third with the football as Michigan kicks into the wind and it's position Michigan State's been in the entire game Baker with 86 yards rushing had a buck 47 in the win over Michigan last year three straight plays oh come up a couple yards short of a first down Van
