as you're gonna see he goes against Rhino Callahan he starts up the field but he comes underneath him and I'm sure O'Callahan watched a lot of film on him this week that's something that you don't see a lot of from DeMarcus Ware he's tipped under at 7 yards to third down conversions on this drive and here's choice getting around page Tashard choice touchdown for a big cowboy touchdown and a good job up front you're gonna see I mean he's if he doesn't he hasn't gotten touched yet and doesn't get touched until the very end of his an offensive line coming off the ball and open and now in his third throws and hits Austin has been his best target today [Applause] down the sideline for Austin and Austin makes a plan what a play by Miles Austin who's having a game of his career took it away from Brandon card 34 yards how about this for his first NFL start it's pretty good coverage too and Miles Austin gets by him and Romo lays it up and gives him a chance Carr gets turned around and Miles Austin just simply goes up over him and fights for the ball you see it looked like Carr had it had better possession of it at one time but [Applause] right through the middle of the defense down inside the ten [Applause] the kick is blocked and the Cowboys will take over Ratliff got in there and made the play so the defense holds and number 90 the Pro Bowler Ratliff with a hurdle a block and the Cowboys have it tied at 13 throws and there's Austin Miles Austin first NFL start the cowboy hero today no flies scene linebacker that he spots in the heat and the offensive line does a great job of ciphering through all that and given him ample protection Miles Austin on the slant route not bad conference really just an excellent throw good catch there by Miles Austin and then it was just off to the races got out of the crack and his first NFL start for the injured Roy Williams and now DeMarcus Ware is in on the sack the receiver Miles Austin and choice bounces it to the edge to shard choice every time he's touched it today he's made a difference throws and completes to Austin what a day no flags on the field he can fly on home Garet with a hug for miles Austin and miles Austin was the star of this throwback day in Kansas City I would seen that a couple times in this game and legged was there in coverage and you know Austin does a good job of coming back and making the catch he just breaks the tackle they're unable to get him to the ground and then once he gets out of that tackle you see the speed that he has and we've seen it throughout the day today and you're right Joe I mean what a day Miles Austin had and a game that was needed with Roy Williams back at home and a team that was in desperate need of a win first NFL start 10 catches and a cowboy rapper 250 yards receiving and to 2 billion it's nickel they bring Bennett now and for extra fast protection and he was caught on a slant by Williams and why Williams up to the 44 yard line so they converted on the 3rd and 8th 20 yard game Quentin Michael the safety makes this odd well they shifted coverages right at the end Sean Jones is going to come up here on the Blitz and it left a void in behind Romo saw it and just fired it right where Jones left big play for Roy Williams who's been looking to make some he was pretty disappointed this week he thought that some of the throws that Romo those with five Brown was susceptible to the double move he likes to look at the quarterback and that time got barbecued watch the slant and go you'll see Sheldon Brown look back into the backfield at the quarterback read that three-step drop try to jump it and there's the guy we've been trying to tell you about all night down [Applause] the 37 yard line by Victor Butler a rookie out of Oregon State who's played sparingly fourth round pick and he is able to get just enough of McNabb that dropped him and there is nobody left on that side of the field this looked like he was going to run for at least the first down one shoestring maybe the linebacker comes over and makes the play there but that really was starting to open up great play by Butler 33 [Applause] first down taking it to the 49 there is your two-minute warning and now the Dallas Cowboys are in primo position to move into undisputed possession of first place in the NFC they're every bit as big as what Dallas is up front here's it thrown to Roy Williams and he sheds a tackle and gets it to the Green Bay 40 went around Truman Williams there's a blitz from Scandrick off the edge and Down Goes Rogers ball comes out flag down on the play there whistling the play dead at the 15 yard line imbedded zone 48th and Rogers is sacked for the fourth time today and the second of the day for the markets where first time in 94 games as rama throws Williams takes it away for the touchdown Roy Williams in front of from on Williams got his hands in front of Rahman and made the catch there will be no shutout and it's 17 to 6 with the extra point coming it's a good throw by Tony Romo and actually a good catch by Roy Williams a ball thrown on the back shoulder up high Roy Williams is a big receiver and a well-placed ball Ramon Williams was in pretty good position but because that bottle was thrown behind he was then able to move for two that was called the middle linebacker getting his first start that missed the initial tackle Rommel throws into the the hands of Witten great coverage and somehow Witten comes down with the deflection play action from Eli Manning down the middle of the field for Smith Newman broke it up second at 15 handoff is to Bradshaw lost the football Ratliff is there and ends up with it although Bradshaw is trying to fight for it it's reputable it's there they do Conroe both roles endzone that's Roy Williams for the touchdown it's first down to the 25 there's play-action Spencer coming into the end zone it's Jenkins with the interception for Dallas [Applause] he's fumbled in this game and a play made by Spencer and a better blocker than he gets credit for because he is such a good receiver second and goal they faked the toss throw to Williams he has his second of the day we're gonna see what the play-action does then to the linebackers because once they hit it it opens everything up right in behind him a Webster and man but he he's anticipating the sweep as well punks throws and completes doing Williams what a day two touchdowns and now a completion to Williams on third and 14 of 25 yards in OC human urine he's going to take an inside pass rush which allows Romo then to get flushed outside to his left and buy himself some time right there you can see then the lane that is created for Tony Romo and not bad coverage by Bruce Johnson I mean this is just a one-on-one against Jason Witten and that is some route by a tight end to get a guy that can run like Landry and you saw Witten just have a at the top of that route in sprung up and for Tony Romo how accurate is this throw right there between the eight and the two perfect wonder today get spun around he still is able to make the play and Austin says first down LaRon Landry makes the tackle Brian a rack fo almost had the sack 17 yard game a rack close got to be thinking what I have to do to get Tony Romo on the ground he missed the sack at the end of the last game that cost him two game and here the weak side you'll see it right off tackle and the line does a good job John Phillips the tight end in at the full-back position lead blocks and it has been a while since Marion Barber has had a run Patrick Crayton is wide open and knock down as he crossed a 45 247 of 30 yard catch and run so far Philadelphia just has not been able to harass Tony Romo within the pocket he's been given quite a bit of time to sit back there and find his receivers there's been very few blitzes coming off the corner with free rushers you see they're just a four-man rush playing zone behind it I thought it was interesting and talking [Applause] has all day Stan fights for the ball continues down the sideline and has a first down at the 20 the Philadelphia Eagles they got a premier pass rusher as well in Trent Cole and flow Zell Adams assigned the duty of slowing him down and he does a good job there on the backside for Romo and you know Samuel once again tries to make a play on this ball and if you don't make it and it's Miles Austin then who is on the receiving end you're gonna have a hard time getting him to the ground Samuel comes back tries to get at his ank pump fake wide open Creighton touchdown films into the flat you can see him here and then they put Patrick Crayton in behind him and Sheldon Brown gets caught peeking inside at Tony Romo Romo uses his shoulders and moves defenders about as well as anybody in football and got brown to bite remember if Sheldon Brooke Jackson instant justice back in the line of his McNabb lost the snap remember a new sinner in Dallas takes over Ratliff comes away with a football didn't even look to me like like McNabb was anticipating the snap I mean that he was expected to be hiked when it was just the simple parts of the game whether it's the quarterback center exchange or out of the shotgun new center Nick Cole Jamal Jackson is out and McNabb just dropped it yeah McNabb clearly was anticipating the ball to be snapped [Applause] clothes and hits Creighton in stride down in midfield with another cowboy first down over the middle it's a pond and he smacked by sensible [Applause] we're almost setting up the screen for Felix Jones Quentin Michael drags down Jones after a gain of 22 little toss to Felix John's room to run Felix John's still going Felix Jones touchdown Dallas no flies it's one of those big runs that they expect to see out of Felix Jones he's finally healthy and it's real simple but good execution but on the back end of this quit and Michael's in a position right there to make a play and he just fails to come off of Jason Witten and make the tackle then on Felix Jones and once Felix Jones breaks this tackle here he's got such great speed that even with inside-out pursuit they're not able to get to him until he's well across the goal line and a good job there by Doug free the right tackle working all the way across the field and lead a nice job virtually shutting them all down more treasure and Spencer with a loss they turn around next week and come right back here McNab gets out of one sack catcher cleans up a penalty flag is thrown that they're not going to do what they want to do without Tony Romo throws and hits Patrick Crayton has had a big game it just got bigger as he's down inside the 45 this is the eighth play of the drive to the left to exchange the first and stays down the trying to get to the bottom of the file the way as if they'll have it and they will that's what really makes this play he's going to loop inside and watch Weaver pull away from the handoff when he story has a happy ending in 2009 the Dallas Cowboys moved into a new house this is the story of how together they made it their home but before they got the keys to the front door quarterback Tony Romo and the rest of the Cowboys had to play their first game in Florida someone interrupt the meeting of the minds over here but you know we're gonna drop back so few balls anything down around here against Tampa Bay in week one Romo did plenty the wink for over 350 yards and three touchdowns [Music] after you look at this kid great job way to see it let's enjoy this we're gonna be playing at home September 20th 2009 was one of the finest Sundays in the storied history of the Dallas Cowboys when Cowboys Stadium threw open its doors the vision of Jerry Jones and his family finally became a him a second trip to the Pro Bowl he was joined there by fellow cornerback Mike Jenkins number 21 by Jenkins and in his second season Jenkins blossomed into one of the league's most athletic playmakers he led the Cowboys by breaking up 23 passes and picking off five more Jenkinson even led a secondary that Lando's skander number 32 and he wins it outright it's intercepted Orlando Scandrick his safety Gerald sensible number 43 sensabaugh said I if you don't want to catch it I will in his first year as a cowboy veteran linebacker Keith Brooking turned back the clock and dialed up the intensity [Applause] [Applause] [Music] the leadership of linebacker Brady James seemed almost quiet by comparison James made sure his team-mates shoes were tied and that opponent sucks got knocked off he led a defense that was forth against the run and second in points allowed it included linebackers Anthony Spencer number 93 [Music] DeMarcus Ware number 94 that's a huge play for this Dallas defense as well as Pro Bowl nose tackle Jay rat left number 90 defensive end of your own shamsky number 99 and fellow in Marcos Spears number 96 Spears came explore then week 5 against Kansas City the Dallas defense muttered the Chiefs rushing attack keeping the two and two Cowboys in the game [Applause] in his first career start wide receiver Miles Austin caught 10 passes for a single game team record 215 receiving yards and in the fourth quarter he gave the Cowboys the lead [Music] [Music] after the Chiefs tied it up Austin gave the Cowboys one more when it mattered most then over time [Music] that broke the all-time receiving record Dallas [Applause] slate or maintenance Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo didn't need the extra help in week seven against the Falcons [Applause] [Music] [Applause] snap his back he's looking left scrambles rushed avoids us Pete [Music] [Applause] Robles are normal enough fellow but when he ducks into his locker and Don's at number 9 Jersey he turns into a Sandlot superhero number nine switz and his legs helping turn busted plays into gaines failure into a fighting chance to succeed and get away keep the play alive will do for you [Applause] when Norma stayed in the pocket he was protected by tackles Marc Columbo and Flozell Adams elbow guards Leonard Davis Pro Bowl Center Andre Jerrod number 65 and guard Kyle Kozar number 63 Romo had enough time to throw for a club record four thousand four hundred and eighty three yards and his grace and a fire produced not only points but pranks I don't think we know this but growing up and brilliance in Wisconsin I was getting shot at all the time left and right god you're the big bang you know come up I go to Stephen I'm like you know he he's like I got scared you know that scared me Bob I was like yeah it was cool by me because growing up and Burlington Wisconsin I mean I walk out the house getting shot at left and right he's like 16 years old come on Steven week 8 against the Seahawks Romo didn't feel much heat throwing for over 250 yards and three touchdowns linebacker DeMarcus Ware wasn't heard but felt he had anybody in sight [Music] I can go hit somebody [Music] and week nine the cowboys returned to the site of their spiritual de cleaning at the end of the 2008 season [Music] [Music] Eagles fans were in full throat expecting history to repeat itself but this Cowboys team was different the Dallas defense was a locomotive steaming through the Philadelphia offense his sack donovan mcnabb four times and picked him off twice [Music] with a score tied in the fourth quarter Miles Austin [Music] fans you maybe see [Applause] Austin's fourth season in the NFL was his best by a country mile he turned into one of the game's best receivers and with stardom came attention [Music] Austin separated himself from defenders you got to concentrate on get the ball to Miles Austin he's but your most explosive player he also stood out from his peers the NFC with 1320 receiving yards and earned his first trip to the Pro Bowl Austin was part of a passing attack which included roy williams who cost seven touchdown passes in his first full season as a cowboy Jason Witten Lentol NFC tight ends with 94 receptions for 1030 yards and earned his sixth consecutive trip to the Pro Bowl wide-receiver Patrick Crayton made a lot of big catches for the Cowboys they also made a lot of big plays on special teams Creighton was third in the NFL in yards per punt return scoring twice late in week 11 against the Redskins cratons touchdown reception turned defeat into
