[Applause] the number one team in the country the Buckeyes of Ohio State at home they've won 10 straight 22 of the last 24 right here on their home turf and you can see it's a scarlet see and Ohio Stadium or the undefeated Buckeyes against the two in one at knee Lions so here we go for the 22nd time Penn State's got an 11 10 series lead over the Buckeyes and they're going to watch the kick sale out of the back of the end zone four wideouts Morelli pulls it down spins his way for about two yards and then gets warmed under our city starting front for the Nittany Lions Levi Brown is a legitimate all-american candidate about 328 pounds he anchors their front wall pickup of two for Marella Tully hunts is the extra receiver the top of your screen he's the running back we're going to go that way and it is hunt before Ohio State the strength and Paul touched on it pitcock and Patterson are the only two returning starters those young guys are learning from those two they're the fielded by Kinlaw at about the 11th and he's just looking for a place to go down [Applause] and almost a first down run by hunt second and one Morelli keeps which busting the half-step he needed fall wish him all the best to his family in hopefully his Rick Paris [Applause] got it away again we'll have a play on this one in the 26 for the 36 and that's about it they've done a nice job in their own 36 yard line here's the gift of Pitman who did all the damage on the last Drive and he's got a good start there two turnovers that Penn State couldn't take advantage of today stabs the field goal it's single coverage on the outside guys hitmen broke one tackle and then runs under a swarm of linebackers on a third down and three it's a great spot for Troy Smith maybe to use his own legs throw it and incomplete Pitman saw them recovered and then came right off he tried to give it to him quickly throw Paso's punt Toronto calls fair catch and gets out of the way and it actually takes a Penn State bounce out to about the 27 Derrick Williams is in the backfield with in the shotgun got rid of it and a diving catch by Derrick Williams he'll get better the more he's in there on the ground out to about the 35 36 yard nice play fake by Marilla comes up throwing he's got the first down in Norwood Norwood got a first down that's all they needed on that one their longest pass play the days only yards Morelli in trouble in the pocket in it's Joel pentonville but what I'm saying is the more he's sitting there the better he's going to make decisions and it's a feel thing you know waiting for 38 yard line Pittman trying to cut it outside and got the corner Antonio still on his feet but his jersey should be tucked into the high powered Ohio State offense hasn't been so far today they come and there he goes first down run by Pittman he'll his Nittany Lions are hanging tough especially their defense final play of the quarter Pittman again found a little opening and then he stood up at the 45 yard line by Justin King and that will bring the third quarter to an end so this is a good tough Big Ten football game the opener for both teams you're watching ESPN on ABC in number one stay here that's not the shot he wanted probably Morelli needs to go back and learn not to look at his receivers and the routes they're running it'll be a pass interference call number four on the defense by rule the ball is placed at the spot of the fall in a good game again today but his team's gonna come up short and fall to two and two-barrel Clark sacked by Robert Rose that might be the last play of the ballgame so Penn State's last year they beat Ohio State that's the last time the Buckeyes have lost a ballgame they haven't one since and they're going to win this one twenty eight two six so the number one team in the country a little shaky early that a lot to do with the Penn State defense but in the second half Jim Tressel's team got rolling and wins it by score of 28 to 6 let's take a
