1436 Jon Boat paired with a 9.9 hp Mercury 4 Stroke! (Speed Test!)

what is up guys and welcome back to another episode we got an awesome video for you today because we're going to be testing out my new motor on the john boat [Music] we got the tracker topper 14 or the tracker topper 1436. i've been doing a lot of videos with this boat but this is the first video where i've got this bigger motor on it now like i said this is the tracker topper 14. it's a 1436 john boat just about every aluminum boat company makes this exact boat and they're pretty much exactly the same it's not it's pre-owned so it's not brand new it's a 2016 mercury four-stroke i really wanted to get a four-stroke i just didn't want to mix gas i hate mixing gas and four strokes i just had good luck with four strokes i just like four strokes the problem with four strokes is they're usually heavier but this one's only 84 pounds so it's not that heavy and it is a nine-nine there's not not sure why there aren't stickers on it but it is a nine-nine i know someone's gonna say something about my trailer this boat is too big for the trailer 100 i'm still working on the trailer i'm gonna extend the trailer a little bit i'm gonna extend the bunks eventually when extend the tongue but it's a work in progress it's getting there so far it's been doing the job but i'm definitely not happy with it hopefully the next couple weeks i'll have it completed i just ordered a bunch of new stuff ordered new rims and tires because the ones on it are kind of messed up but yeah we're getting there she's not trip ready yet but for local use she's been doing pretty good she fits on it pretty good got a little three gallon gas tank which is probably all i'm going to need if i need to i'll just bring some more gas with me and it's another little tank got the lowrance so ability get a speed so yeah we're gonna take her out we're gonna do a top speed test with two people and i'm gonna do a top speed test with just me we're gonna see how fast this little motor will push this little boat now i'm a pretty big guy so i'm not really sure i've seen some videos of this going like 23 24 mile per hour with a nine nine we're gonna see we're gonna see how fast we'll go but all right i'm done rambling we're gonna head to the water so stay tuned [Music] i love how quiet this motor is crazy it's going to be fast i'm scared you ready yep all right let her eat this is perfect so [Music] love how quiet she is this is crazy it's gonna be perfect patrolling [Music] bye [Music] a little bit and we just hit 19. hey go choppy yeah buddy you know weird when the camera's on here's like freeze up brush works neutral forward i like it it's so smooth oh it's thawed what's messing around the gears and stalls for some reason he's playing we're out of gas still got some gas taking up the creek real quick we yeah dude this feels sketchy going down a creek like this wide open freaking moving never go up the creek this fast all right guys i just dropped faith off i'm gonna see how fast this thing can get with just me in it now i'm a pretty big guy so i don't know if it's gonna make a big difference or not but we're gonna find out we're getting about 19 with both of us holy crap we are streaming now it's not sketchy though really like i kind of like having the extra weight in the front so 21 21 the highest we went a lot faster 22. that's against kern almost 22 against current we're going to go with it this is choppy out here too so this isn't ideal condition by any means [Music] and it jumps right up on playing now one point [Music] pretty damn fast though [Music] and i don't really have the motor to trim right out thing so i could potentially get more if i trim this motor up a little bit i tried to trim it on the water it wasn't let me for some reason [Music] probably just doing something wrong pretty happy with her 22 mile per hour just me i'm still got i'm still pretty loaded up 19 miles per hour two people loaded up jumps up on planes super fast with just me in it it's kind of crazy hell yeah good little motor got a pretty good deal on it i got it for 14.50 it's 2016. 2016. just a nine nine i could get a card with the 15 but i don't think i need to go that fast [Music] you
