$130 Pool Villa in Phuket!! Anantara Mai Khao 5 Star Hotel Tour + Breakfast Pad See Ew!

hey everyone hope you're having an amazing day it's mark wiens i'm in phuket in southern thailand and for this trip we are staying at the anantara phuket maikau villas and this is a beautiful resort the lagoons and the gardens it's really a tropical paradise and we are staying in one of the pool villas which is also right along the lagoon so in this video i'm gonna walk you around this entire hotel give you a tour of the property uh we're gonna see the incredible garden and then i'll also walk down to the ocean uh to the beach maikau beach which is beautiful and we're right on the beach here and then tomorrow morning we will have breakfast so all of that coming up i'm going to give you a full tour of anantara maikau phuket villas let's go [Music] phuket village is located on the island of phuket in southern thailand in the northern part of the island along maikau beach we're going to begin the tour right at the very entrance of the hotel so this is the street but it's also very quiet and then this grand almost hallway entrance like you're entering into a jungle lush cave the hanging vines the assortment and collection of different types of palm trees the orchids the elephant ears the ferns yeah just i mean one of for sure one of the highlights here is the plant life the botanic coals it's just it's a garden oasis i just love how the trees are just blanketed in lushness this is the entrance here where you would enter the hotel and the reception saudi cub saudi and immediately you're in this courtyard of lagoons and pools and lotus and uh this is the whole central area if you go that direction you'll get to the reception and then if you go uh along the series of planks and wooden walkways you'll get to the restaurant in the main uh dining section which is right across there right across the lagoon okay we're all set you walk into this pavilion here and this is the reception i love the seating selections the sofas the colors the decorations or you can sit over here ah yeah but really one of the highlights here oh and by the way staff here are so friendly so nice the hospitality on the next level but something that i love so much about this resort are the lagoons and the gardens look at the size of these giant elephant ears huge from the reception in the parking lot then you walk down this way down this bridge down through the lagoon and all of the pavilions and all of the villas are down this way and then also something i should mention is that when you do arrive when you check in they put all of your baggage and all of your stuff onto a golf cart and then you cruise down a golf cart on this bridge which is pretty cool straight to your villa swedenbob our villa is down in this direction but then also the beach is straight ahead if you keep on going so i think we should go straight to the beach first i'll show you the beach and then we'll come back for the villa tour [Music] and just before you get to the ocean you will get to the communal pool section and unfortunately uh you're not able to use the communal pool section right now because of the covid situation so it's closed in the future it will definitely be reopened such a nice pool oceanfront view another part about the communal pool that i love is this section here with the lounge beds with the beach beds there's a restaurant here there's a pool bar and then you come down the steps and you get to this is the actual sandy beach but just kind of the first level of the first sandy beach because you go a little further down and it's really the sand really the ocean and the beach but this is a more of like a relaxing sand beach there's a grassy area it's a chill out space there's a volleyball court you can play football over there in the grass and let's continue on to the beach beach oh yeah this is really a highlight mai kao beach welcome to maikau beach and without a doubt this is one of the most beautiful spectacular beaches in all of phuket and one of the highlights here as you can see is it's known for being extremely peaceful extremely quiet and also one of the longest i believe it's one of the longest beaches in phuket as well but this is truly the reason to come here the peace the quiet you can take walks along the beach it's so peaceful and so quiet and really if you are looking to get away from the the crowds my cow beach is one of the best options in phuket we gotta move on and i'm gonna give you a full tour of our villa next let's go here's the entrance to our villa and then keep there's a variety of other villas uh within this tropical greenery and that's our villa right right there i can hear micah splashing in there hello and after walking around for the last hour i am just drenched in sweat so there's only one thing i can do immediately i cannot wait [Music] oh yeah it's not that deep oh yeah that is ultra refreshing that's so nice uh okay officially welcome to our villa and oh my god i have a shop this is the greatest place to sit ever the swim was fantastic and over on this side of the pool there's a table and outdoor table where you can hang out where you can sit and then also a laying couch sofa which is under this outdoor entire it's called the salah and then next is yeah this huge outdoor sofa relax area full of pillows i mean you could actually just sleep here and be very very happy one of the highlights of this villa this pool villa is that it is right along the lagoon and even this whole hotel i think one of the highlights for me is that it's right along the lagoon so you have lagoon views you have the breeze coming off of the lagoon and just the tropical plants and animals that the lagoon attracts lots of different birds that you'll see okay let's go to the villa inside the room now [Music] and welcome to our room [Music] immediately as you enter to the right-hand side is a desk i've kind of spread out a bunch of my stuff on the desk right now where i put the computer into a little bit of work there's a coffee maker a hot water kettle which i use frequently and then they set us up we have the main bed but then they also made up the sofa bed over on the other side for micah and it is definitely time for a good classic bed test oh yeah it's an absolute cloud but it's also one of the higher beds that i can remember us ever staying on it's really high above the ground great bed oh okay and then walk down the hallway and this is the baggage room the dressing room the closet the walk-in closet sort of the the hallway uh there's a safety deposit box here you can hang your clothes here you can put your suitcase here there's a mirror here there's bathrobes here i also really love these wooden floors and they keep them so clean that you could just like almost feel your your feet squeak on the wooden floor and it's also big enough to be an office in fact i have been sitting here and working on the computer when mike is sleeping in the main room whoa okay sorry bathroom is a little bit on the bright side right side right now because the afternoon sun is coming in directly but what i love about the bathroom is it's extremely spacious uh double sinks here big giant mirror and then to the right hand side this is the self-contained toilet compartment and then to the left-hand side is the shower and i love that shower head huge shower head high above you can actually reach all the way up and still not touch the waterfall of water that comes out just love the spaciousness the wide open windows and just this hotel is classic [Music] okay i think i have shown you everything in this room tour from here uh well definitely i will be going swimming again and then we'll be spending the night here and then tomorrow morning i'll wake up and i'll show you what we have for [Music] breakfast [Music] okay come on micah let's go to hold breakfast one oh yeah here you go [Music] [Applause] best way to get to breakfast oh yeah now in the morning you can see that the the lotus flowers are blooming lots of them are open and the water lilies oh hello ducks [Music] so welcome to breakfast they have a nice indoor section and then uh what's the really highlight here is this outdoor veranda on the garden surrounded by the lagoon so i think we'll sit out here today for breakfast because of the situation now they do have a buffet where you can get a number of different things but then they also have a menu order off the menu so it's kind of like a mix on the menu you can order they have eggs benedict a variety of eggs local farm eggs they have noodles oh the noodles are actually really good here oh it's great a beautiful beautiful morning [Music] and so the indoor section they have everything from sushi to the salad station to the fresh juice station to the cereals to the cold cut meats and cheeses to fresh fruit to nuts to oh the bread and the pastry section and then the full salad station i always like to go big on fruits and vegetables for breakfast and they have a nice selection and in the meantime the other food has come the fried eggs and the patsy all the pots you here is is a highlight it's really good i had it yesterday for breakfast too and i got it with vegetables i have to do some seasoning chili is a must whenever you eat patsy you need a little chili to get your morning started pets eat you oh yeah mm-hmm oh yeah their pet sioux for breakfast is amazing so good so warm and comforting and gooey and then again all the salad bell pepper red cabbage lettuce cucumber tomato i got some pecans i got some olives oh yeah that's a big bite but it collapses in your mouth gotta add on a little bit of pepper i'm actually pepper crazy all right all those are wonderfully fried eggs with some of the tomato oh yeah maybe i should have used their knife but that's okay [Music] i love pepper and i love passion fruit the sour burst the tartness the crunch of the seeds oh that is that is sour dragon fruit breakfast is wonderful fresh enjoy the views of the lagoon the fish are teaming the lotus the garden is just beautiful here and we are gonna finish breakfast now [Music] okay oh yeah oh breakfast was excellent oh this is fantastic that's going to bring us to the end of this tour of anantara maikao phuket villas we've had a great stay the staff and service are phenomenal uh the property is beautiful and again you would want to come to my cow to this northern end of phuket especially if you're looking for ultimate relaxation peace and quiet it's one of the most relaxing areas on the entire island as for the price that we paid we paid we got actually got an incredibly good deal because of the situation because of the time uh that we are here but we paid right at 4 000 per night which is just under 130 dollars right about 130 dollars per night for this entire pool villa so that's a an extremely good deal and so that wraps up this pool villa tour i hope you enjoyed it
