got me a girlfriend. I've been trying to, I was trying to get a
girlfriend since I was seven. - Didn't get me one. - Didn't get you one? You about to be on TV. It's coming, don't worry. (audience applauds) Them shoes might not have got you a girl, but just hold tight (chuckles). When did you discover that you had a pretty
decent singing voice? - Well, I was about actually five, and I was singing to
this song on the radio, and my cousin said to
my mom, she was like, "Oh my God, do you hear his voice?" And my mom never really realized it until I started singing in church, and that's when everyone
actually realized I could sing. Like they was like, "Oh
my God, he got something." (audience laughs and applauds) - Yeah. What grade are you in? - I'm in eighth grade. I actually got skipped a grade. (audience cheers and applauds) - Well, don't that hurt me a little bit. After I finished the sixth
grade, they said uh-uh, they put me back in the fifth grade. I didn't... (laughs) - Yikes. - It's cool, you ain't
got to worry about it. I made it, don't worry about it. (audience applauds) Who are some of your favorite artists? - Oh, Whitney Houston, Kelly Price. Definitely Michael Jackson, my God.
