#107 Kioti Tractor Brush Guard Build

[Music] [Applause] [Music] good morning and welcome to the channel and if you've been following the channel you know that we've been working or i've been working on trying to get a grill cover uh brush guard uh sufficient for the tractor there's a lot of builds out there and a lot of guys doing a great work of building theirs i bought the expanded mesh to do mine and bought an old hundred dollar welder and started plinking around hadn't welded in quite a while so one of my buddies was gracious enough to do the welding for me and kind of document the process which was great because now i can put together a video for you guys about how that build happened what went into it and how to do it so that's what the video is about today i hope you enjoy it i hope it's helpful hopefully you'll be able to get yours built and keep your tractor grill safe so right now i'm going to be putting the grill back on because it's all finished and do the big reveal at the end of the video of course you'll probably see the process and see what we're uh developing and what it's looking like as we go thanks for stopping by i'm excited to get this back on the tractor and to keep my uh innards of the tractor safe look forward to you seeing the end of the big [Music] reveal [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] okay so we're building the grill here we've got some supports to go in for the expanded metal but we've got a clearance for the latch and also this has a radius so we start out with the angle cut some relief cuts in it so we can bend it to match up with the angle and then we'll go ahead and weld all of those pinches up when we're done [Music] [Applause] [Music] so [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] so [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] so [Music] [Music] so [Music] all right so sorry for the air noise that's annoying but um so we got it on i'll tighten those up by hand or with the wrench torque them down but ready for the big reveal let's see what it looks like boom so there she'd be put the hood down take a look at it i think it looks awesome okay so this is my buddy's design i basically told him you know here's the expanded metal this is what i want to do this is what it needs to do and he came up with the design uh basically with the uh any angle iron it bolts in two positions so in the event i ever need to take it off or i decide hey let's do some matching paint i can do that i kind of like the black kind of goes with the grill itself and i don't know kind of gives it kind of a badass look still like to get a shackle up front but right now i'm super happy with how that turned out looks very awesome and professional and i think i'm going to owe him some dinner so guys hopefully that's helpful and you dig it because i sure do i think it looks great you
