welcome back folks to a brand new video choosing some of the best places to visit in Europe can be very difficult so I've grabbed together a handful of destinations for your next trip so let's take a look at 100 beautiful places to visit in Europe and if you do like the video don't forget to subscribe and hit that like button let's do it thank you [Music] number one Julio a southern region forming the hill of Italy's boot it's known for its whitewashed Hill towns centuries old farmland and hundreds of kilometers of Mediterranean coastline now two places I recommend would be the port town of Monopoly and of course the UNESCO world heritage site Alberta Bella but I do have a soft spot for our student portera is a string of centuries-old Seaside villages on the rugged Italian Riviera coastline the five towns colorful houses and Vineyards cling to steep Terraces and the harbors are filled with fishing boats and the trattorias that turn out Seafood Specialties along with the logorias region famous sauce pesto a visit to my favorite region of Tuscany offers no end of Richards [Music] the picture postcard images of the medieval towns that set off in the peak and the rolling Terraces of vines and Cypress trees in the valleys is exactly what you expect to see in Tuscany today for example Florence is an unrivaled Gathering of churches Galleries and museums I suggest you visit but for me it's just too busy so try Sienna instead one of the great medieval cities of Europe [Music] ancient sites were the modern style the Eternal City continues to shine Rome with impressive monuments like the ruins of the Coliseum the iconic fountains and tutorials serving tasty cuisine in every corner Rome is a must-see for any trip to Italy [Music] oh second largest island in the Mediterranean Sea after Sicily and one of the 20 regions of Italy Sardinia is well known as a paradise in the heart of the Mediterranean obviously it's sunny coasts and its white and sandy beaches are the main tourist attractions so we're talking about the most renowned towns and cities the most characteristic islands and of course important sites of historical and cultural interests for example on the Northeast Coast Kostas Morella is known for its crowds of billionaire jet Setters and Russian oligarchs Miss Mainland disguises many pretty villages [Music] also worth checking out is calorie capital city of Sardinia known for its Hilltop Castello and the medieval world's quarter that's situated High Above the Rest of the Town that's definitely worth a look [Music] look at [Music] number six Santorini Greece is easily an ultimate getaway destination for a number of reasons instantly recognizable around the world multicult Cliffs soar out of the sea topped by whitewash buildings with romantic sunsets and Volcanic sand beaches it's hardly surprising Santorini features on so many Travelers bucket lists remember all year round [Music] secondos another wonderful Greek Island sitting in the hearts of the mesmerizing ionian sea it has wonderful natural landscapes and of course the beaches one famous one is Shipwreck Beach only accessible by boat with wonderful turquoise Waters white sand and of course the dramatic towering Cliffs [Music] number 8. it's home to Mozart for 17 of overseas visitors it's the sound of music that remains the primary reason for travel to the city the city is full of galleries museums a rich array of restaurants and a diverse selection of shopping opportunities such as farmers markets to up-market stores but apart from the music tours go for a wonderful Mozart dinner concert at the Baroque Hall of Saint Peters Abbey who can forget Vienna this elegant City with Street theaters and ballets operas musicals art galleries and shows that make it such a dynamic city [Music] but this modern flavor doesn't take anything away from the tradition that still resides right here small town between Vienna and Salzburg within the South's kamagot region this region is full of small towns surrounded by lakes and mountains one of the reasons why to visit is because its location on Lake Transit with its yacht Marina Lakeside Square and promenades a pretty historic London has a Riviera feel it's mainly a weekend Escape for locals and the best thing to do is walk or bike around the area don't forget only a 20-minute walk to the Magnificent Schloss art Castle which is situated Lakeside so don't miss that just an hour west of Vienna wakau is a 30 kilometer long region located in and around the Danube Valley between the lower Austrian cities such as milk and crumbs and arduno [Music] famous for its unique landscape which earned it the title of UNESCO world heritage site and only 80 kilometers away from Austria's capital Vienna it's become an attractive travel destination for tourists from all around the world [Music] Croatia located on the southern end of Croatia's magnificent Coast the appeal of the pearl of the Adriatic is unique and awe-inspiring strongly built to withstand Pirates and Invaders Dubrovnik and its old town with its higher walls and bastions were once considered to be among the greatest fortification systems of the Middle Ages thank you so much so it's been named a italianate in nature it's famous for its large Cathedral highest Church Tower in istra at 61 meters high so visiting this place is an absolute must it was built according to Plans by Venetian much better than bar it's been a top destination for a few years now and let me tell you it was a lot cheaper back then one of the best things to do is to walk up to the town Fortress for incredible number of interesting art galleries and boutiques Catalonia is filled with beautiful medieval villages are one of the most picturesque Villages is the tiny besalu a medieval town that sits just an hour drive north of Girona in the region of Catalonia it's quaint and filled to the brim with cobbled streets Stone houses and a picture-perfect Romanus bridge that straddles the flubia river so once you're there make sure to walk across the bridge of bezolu to visit the castle relax at the lake and explore the beautiful monasterio de San Pedro cincuenta City in Guadalajara Central Spain known for is 260 meters deep [Music] you'll be able to see the Seven Sisters suta and the bridal veil which are impressive waterfalls one of the many highlights include the Eagle Road where you can catch a magnificent view of the Fjord itself low Photon Islands this Scenic unspoiled archipelago is one of Europe's Best Kept Secrets or one of the most important natural gems to explore in Norway [Music] though the collections of islands lie within the Arctic Circle they are blessed with warmer temperatures due to the Gulf Stream [Music] beautifully traditional place where life is simple and tourism kept to quite a minimum [Music] this is where whale watching and spectacular walks and sceneries awaitlyn formed more than 10 000 years ago and the most iconic natural landmark in Norway from the top of the 604 meters high cliff you will find the most dramatic views that any Fjord in Norway has to offer the hike is of moderate difficulty and in total the eight kilometer hike takes around four to and the colorful 17th and 18th century buildings [Music] next up is kalmar Calamar Castle is a symbol for the city of kalmar located in the southeast of Sweden its history features International politics courts intrigues fiery sieges and fierce battles today the castle after suffering heavy damage disrepair and then restored is now one of Sweden's best preserved Renaissance castles [Music] Helsing ball a coastal city in southern Sweden Across The Orleans Strait from Denmark so this city is known for its old town home to the medieval Conan Tower the only surviving element of a fortress so if you do happen to be in Copenhagen in Denmark it's only an hour and 15 minutes away to helsinkle [Music] Island the Atlantic Ocean churns relentlessly below the Towering Cliffs over 700 feet above the water for almost nine miles along the county Clare Coast the views over the Galway Bay towards the Aran islands are staggering as are the vistas from the Five Mile Coastal Dulin Cliff Walk now this is one of the country's most visited natural wonders so do expect some crowds stop by in the evening when numbers begin to dwindle and you'll be rewarded with a spectacular sunset this is the Cliffs of Moa [Music] the rings of Barrow is a glimpse into Ireland and its most wild the driving route itself is a mere 137 kilometers and can be driven in two hours if you remind to every mile has something to offer Bearer is beyond it's different a tapering 30 mile long forefinger of land that Oaks powerfully out into the ocean the peninsula's remote aspects are why you would visit foreign unmatched in his dramatic Beauty is one of the essential places to visit in Ireland ringed by sandy beaches Rolling Hills lofty mountains and craggy Cliffs it never fails to attract visitors with its charm and unique Irish culture the town of Dingle sits in the edge of the peninsula on the Southwest coast foreign just a short very wide away from Dingle boat tours you step onto the basket or didn't realize Poland is a land of castles in fact castles of Poland are some of the most impressive in all of Europe and several of them are truly important a great example Melbourne Castle [Music] the castle is considered to be the largest brick Fortress in the world measured by land area built in the 13th century it's a castle on the Teutonic owner and the UNESCO world heritage site [Music] it's an impressive edifice built from red bricks consistent of three parts the lower Castle the middle and the High Castle so as the castle is really huge prepare yourself to spend most of the day there [Music] one of the most scenic towns of the lower seligia region a perfect destination to escape the big cities a focal point of balasubits is the Old Town where you can find rows of ancient tenements built in either both Baroque and the Renaissance stars in all different colors [Music] it's pretty hard to miss a massive building of the Town Hall which was reconstructed in 1522 after it castle was where the Polish Kings resided from 1333 to 1795 it was also built on bevel Hill and the cathedral which was the place of the coronation of no fewer than 36 polish kings and queens but nowadays the castle forms a unisco world heritage site but of course it has epic views [Music] [Music] oh this 17th century Castle is one of the most interesting and historical sites in Poland's upper sales province even though the castle was originally designed in a baroque Style later an Eastern near Gothic wing and a Western near Renaissance Wing were added now the castle has a total of 99 spiers resemble those magical places that feature in either fairy tales or Disney films or even Harry Potter Finland Helsinki set on the south coast of Finland Helsinki is the Smart Finnish capital and it's home to some stunning architecture from the main railway station in its unique National romantic Style or the strip back Parliament House to the incredible 1960s church that set directly in an Excavating Rock but just like a local you should cycle everywhere and explore these unique architectures yourself don't forget to try a traditional sauna National Park there are multiple national parks in Finland all of which offer their own unique sites and Landscape but some of the best views can be found in Kohli National Park in Northern corellia in the eastern part of Finland climbing the Rocky Trail to look over the lakes and forests is just as breathtaking as seeing the Grand Canyon in Winter there are also opportunities for skiing throughout this stunning landscape even further north beyond the Arctic Circle in Finland lies to Finnish Lapland [Music] Lapland Sports a frosty sub-arctic climate and little vegetation the perfect base for visiting and Finnish Lapland is Robert Belgium While most people head for Brussels this small but beautiful port city is arguably Europe's best kept secret was and in fact the most powerful in Europe but today it's a very relaxed picturesque place but more than a whiff of a Bohemian Heir the highlights here are that it's a city that's storybook pretty take a boat trip down the canal and discover all the local hotspots Bruce found by the Vikings in the 9th century Bruges is the ultimate medieval town for history Arts architecture and any enthusiasts who love food for me this is a perfect weekend City break but if you have just a day there's more than enough things to do as this town has more castles than any other one [Music] but of course still plenty of cafes and many many places to taste some delicious Belgium waffles [Music] Iceland [Music] region is a great place to visit one of Iceland's natural wonders the Ice Caves the Ice Caves form during the winter months in the Outlook glaciers of that now you're good [Music] one of the biggest glaciers in Europe by volume [Music] foreign [Music] village in south Iceland it sits in the shadow of a huge Glacier which covers the catalog volcano you will also its beautiful canals the historical buildings world-class museums and of course famous attractions like the Anne Frank house [Music] it's quite easy to get around especially with public buses trams Metro lions and of course the bicycles it's a great weekend City break if you have the chance to visit [Music] the most beautiful and fairy tale Village in the Netherlands [Music] very popular destination every year at least one million people descend on this Village now it contains hand-dog canals in all small Islands which are interconnected by 176 Bridges to the mainland so the best thing to do is to actually just hire a boat roughly between 15 euros an hour and just sail around and admire the wonderful views and especially the 18th and 19th century farmhouses capital city or the province of Zealand in the Netherlands and is one of the places that you must visit if you want to see the beauty of the country this city dates back to the 9th century and right in the heart is the Glamorous building the city hall if you're able to go on a tour you might as well go to the mighty Abbey and from there you can scale the 207 steps of the Abbey Tower and you will be rewarded with a fantastic view of the city [Music] Czech Republic [Music] known as the city of silver lies east of Prague in the Czech Republic it Rivals Prague in importance upon the 16th century the mines began to run dry and its demise was hastened by the 30 Years War and a devastating fire in 1770. the town became a UNESCO world heritage site in 1996. to witness cut nahura's true beauty head up to Saint Barbara's Church at sunset the area is an easy day trip from Prague but I think the town of Chardon Dixie is the perfect place where you can see these pastel colored Hills or leave the name on the screen [Music] [Music] another city favored by all travelers and people wanting to experience the splendid nightlife is a city of Prague the stunning capital of the Czech Republic Prague is where you will see magnificent Charles bridge a stunning broad Castle the cathedrals museums and the Beautiful Hilltop views just to avoid Prague in the middle of the summer that's if you can help it [Music] Montenegro [Music] harassed tiny idyllic Village on the breathtaking Bay of Couture in Montenegro despite a very small population perest Rich history ancient architecture and the views the Romantic Waterfront Restaurant patios make it quite a captivating destination so compared to Couture Perez is much smaller a far more laid back so if that's the kind of relaxing holiday you need this is the place Albania within the village itself visitors will find a centuries-old lock-in Tower and in the surrounding National Park stunning waterfalls and the dramatic Canyon await to be discovered [Music] the city's most dominant feature it's Castle [Music] visitors will want to stop by the tower house constructed in early 19th century and considered the finest example of Ottoman architecture in the city a real Gem of Albanian Seaside Casa mil is considered to have one of the most beautiful beaches in Albania and I can see why everyone thinks it's so good turquoise water Sandy Beach and nearby islands make casimil look like a paradise [Music] Luxembourg [Music] Luxembourg City is a lively and bustling Capital with a lot of great touristic attractions for you to visit nowhere else in Europe will you find such an outstanding mixture of historic sites and contemporary architecture the old city of Luxembourg and its Fortress is a UNESCO world heritage site but in short Luxembourg is a modern city with very deep roots [Music] Latvia Riga is one of the liveliest amongst the capitals that you will see on this video you can stroll around the old town which is a UNESCO world heritage site with most of riga's monuments such as the iconic House of blackheads semp is church or the Central Market I think Riga is stunning especially in the summertime [Music] Slovenia Ljubljana is slovenia's capital and its largest city and it's known for its green spaces including the expansive Tivoli Park now Slovenia often gets overlooked by tourists who visit Croatia Italy and Austria instead so I highly recommend that you try this country over the likes or the ones just mentioned it also houses some wonderful architectural works by yoje pleachnik so make sure to visit as many of his buildings and projects as you can foreign [Music] Lake bled is a glacier-formed Crystal Blue Lake known for its castle and panoramic views the Lakeside walks are the best way to see bled castle with its beautiful mountain backdrop you'll be able to see some of the most scenic hot spots one I particularly like about this lake is you won't see any motorboats because they've been banned so only the traditional Wooden Boats are what you'll see [Music] Romania [Music] Romania's Capital sometimes gets a bad rap but in fact it's Dynamic quite energetic and a lot of fun it was formerly known as the Paris of the East but All That Remains from this bygone era are the French designed municipal buildings located in the old town Bucharest like Berlin is home to a thriving creative scene I will just remember looks can be deceiving and Bucharest is a testament to that I found that it was one of the friendliest places in Europe [Music] Estonia [Music] whether you're traveling in the chilly Winters or the colorful spring or Autumn you can't escape the magic of this city sitting in the Baltic Shores home to the UNESCO heritage site and the most well preserved historic Square Talent is one of the most beautiful cities Europe [Music] enjoy the one the wonderful colorful rooftops and the domes from the hills or get lost in the charm on the castle [Music] Hungary there is a small town called in southeast Hungary it's a quiet Resort place in beautiful surroundings ordered by backwaters forests and Meadows it's a very cozy settlement it has a history a very long history which dates back to the 12th century so if you're looking for a small town vibe away from the famous Budapest then why not try IMO and the end [Music] Lithuania [Music] illness the capital of Lithuania and another city that contains one of the largest surviving medieval quarters in Europe including on the UNESCO world heritage list if the old town which contains almost 2 000 medieval Gothic Renaissance and Baroque buildings that are all centered on the neoclassical Cathedral and the town hall but there are other popular attractions that you can visit whether you want to go to see the KGB Museum that's actually located in the Soviet prison but I think the 13th century higher Castle be the best option [Music] altar [Music] OZO is a lesser known destination in Malta and is the second largest of The Maltese Islands so it's a much quieter place to be some people say it's what Malta used to be like an area where time just seems to pass a lot slower than any other place but most tourists come just for the day to enjoy the sites like temples the citador and the usual window so an afternoon Roman here will give you a nice feeling of a more traditional Malta [Music] Slovakia now the obvious choice to visit in Slovakia would be Bratislava and that would be a great choice but just like Poland Slovakia is also a land of castles and the ruins of spish Castle in eastern Slovakia forms one of the largest Castle sites in Central Europe it is massive [Music] Pharaoh Islands [Music] [Music] the Pharaoh Islands is a place where few people have been this far away Rocky archipelago is likely to be the most curious place left on Earth just the sheer beauty of the Pharaoh Islands is still a well-kept secret a stunning piece of nature that's tucked between Iceland and Norway and still far away from well-traveled tourist hotspots it's as if it's one large National Park in itself with mountains pungent Sea Cliffs and floating Lakes you'll have more than enough to keep you occupied [Music] foreign popular Pembroke show which is the most westerly County in Wales is home to some of the country's finest beaches and a vast array of pretty Seaside towns even the UK's smallest City Saint David's but one such a place I recommend that you should visit is tenby which is a Harbor Town and Resort in Southwest Wales and is known for its 13th century Town walls and its stretches a Sandy Shoreline including Castle Beach thank you
