100 → 1,000 → 10,000 Object Challenge!

I want to take a moment to thank everyone for 10 000 subscribers that's a lot of people if I put all those people in a room they'll be like a crowded room I'm a little late to the party on this one I'll be honest I wasn't prepared for the absolute Insanity that has been the reception for a hundred hours I really appreciate everyone watching that but man I I am getting this video out as quickly as I can trust me don't worry I didn't I didn't abandon you guys I probably won't be uploading this often on a regular basis because I'm kind of dead inside right now but uh it's fine uh it's pretty cool challenge so basically how this works is I create a small part of a level in a hundred objects and then without deleting anything from that version I add stuff to it until it hits a thousand objects and then finally I do the same thing with ten thousand objects why is that not working but before I can do any of that I need to start up my 10 object TV so let me get that going and we'll just Jam right into the action here's the level I'm working on uh this song I chose I just kind of went to my saved song folders and just scrolled around until I found something random that was a good song pretty cool song we got right here uh not copyrighted which is good just put this here so I know where the part ends I do realize that I should probably go with slow speed so I don't have to do as much block design also sorry if my talking sounds weird while I'm building I have a canker sore if you don't know what that is good don't look it up you don't want to know so I started with some ship gameplay but it was kind of struggling with the object limit ball gameplay proved a lot easier to make placing these layout blocks takes a lot of objects when you're limit so low so making ones that slide along like this seemed like the right choice sure that works that's good another trick is to use scale limit hacks to make these blocks concerningly big although trust me you can go too far my on a multiple of one right there is the decimals set to zero I can't tell I could see like three pixels over there I had to slow down as I can move it I don't know if this is gonna work it's not gonna lie after scaling whatever that was down just a little bit I placed in some jump orbs for a bit more variety you know it's good I made that block smaller though now it surely won't be weird and broken kind of the hitbox is not functioning correctly that's weird because when I show hitboxes it lines like this but that's that's not that's not how hitboxes are supposed to work you know it's fine uh it's a gameplay Quirk it gives the level charm it's like a Karma level and then I will just put another one of these because why not we have uh 45 objects for the gameplay uh this doesn't count so 44 Optics we have like two objects left for the decoration I can do that I'm good at optimizing so here's the layout for my level it's pretty good I spent a really long time on this an entire five minutes it it was really hard please subscribe for the block design I went with this object yeah it's pretty cool and using this one with its base set to Invisible you can make cool screws in the corners with only one object after making two of these I decided to just Place move triggers to make them repeat because this uses three objects and that is just that is too many objects I believe would be so disappointed so with three more of these as you can see normally this would use 60 objects I just saved nine whole objects and now it's 51 that's huge then I made these tracks for the blocks to move on obviously these Loop in the same way man the amount of object reset you have to do for a challenge like this is insane so it'll just be 600. wow not six thousand to ninety that's a bit too high these big platforms are going to be tricky because I don't want the outline to be like 10 000 times bigger than this outline as you can see those are not the same size finishing up the block design was a pretty simple task not really a lot to say here all right I have eight objects left for the background let's go that's so many why is the line look like that so that's so broken looking dude bro alright so this is a really cool trick that I think Pock used you just take one of these you zoom way and way and real real big and you can see these are kind of blurry on the edges so you just take this you have better edit absolutely hate you and want to make your life miserable please let me thank you and then you just scale this like way up just absolutely massive kind of like your mom all right so I decided I want to do pulses so for the background I am just going to commit the cardinal sin of creating and use a default background I'm sorry I had to do it I I don't worry I feel bad oh wait I'm wasting whoa I just realized I'm using 24 objects for this line over here okay actually we do have enough for a custom background thank God this background I thought that was a bit much for what I've built and so with a couple of pulses and a cool custom background 100 objects were reached thank you [Music] all right well that's definitely not as egregious as it could be next up one thousand first things first let's put in some actual like real ground spikes ground spikes placed all right so I'm in an awkward position where these ground spikes just kind of end here and I need them to extend all the way like past where the level ends so I put an extra set of them up here before the level ends and I'm just going to use a move trigger to move these over 300 blocks minus like 150 was it and that should probably work [Music] oh yeah it would work if I didn't put the move trigger as late as possible I'm not sure why I placed it there here's some cool ground Spike decoration I made yeah screw it that's that's good enough that'll do that looks kind of cool laziness right here absolutely beautiful look I spend 100 hours on a level I need to take a break and spend like two seconds on something for once I think that looks kind of not terrible okay next up I could go for some more detail on these blocks I found that these grass objects along with this stripe pattern worked pretty well you know I've been reading 1984 recently by George Orwell 1984 must have been a terrible time I'm glad I wasn't alive then okay that used a lot of objects that might be a bit too many actually honestly okay that's slightly less egregious okay how's that looking you know what it's not it's not the empty space the more I made these waterfalls that doesn't look terrible for some reason you know what I think I'll be allowed to just change the colors of objects I've already placed the final thing I wanted to do for 1000 objects was some good old music representation there's a part in the song that goes like this and so I got to work on an effect that would fit these sounds alright this is going to use a lot of groups but I don't care [Music] all right we have one object left and I think I know what I'm gonna spend it on your win all right let's see our beautiful creation [Music] oh better than Jam Factory and silentictrez combined I don't know what I'm doing dude and finally it's the moment no one was waiting for ten thousand objects I streamed this one on Twitch so today what we're doing um this is my 100 object level a 100 object part and so then we have my 1000 object level which is aptly named the same thing but with a one at the end because every time you copy the level it just adds one to whatever numbers here it's great but this is the Thousand object version so a bit more detail you are win and so yeah today we're gonna be making the 10 000 object version we're at a thousand objects right now uh yeah this is gonna be kind of wild so I'm probably just gonna like spam objects in completely unnecessary places I started off with these Frills and then made this grid pattern in the blocks since I know that takes up objects I know the 100 people 100 of people who think die that's true uh stop thinking just obey everything I say and you'll live forever it's pretty simple I don't know why people don't get it it's not being cheap it's being resourceful but like if being resourceful was purely about using as many resources as possible came up with an orb design it looks pretty cool I need to use objects but I'm lazy and don't want to make detailed art so I have the perfect solution it's called custom objects I have a lot of good ones we're gonna play some birds I like how he has like objects for his eyes you can see it like flashes for a second and they're completely useless the objects don't need to be there but I'm keeping them anyway it's great don't you guys love it's bird meta everyone's going to be using it 1209 now that's a well optimized if you ask me oh I'm already okay well that fills up quite a few of my objects do I have any tips to make block designs I have a great tip uh first of all you make a hyper realistic bird silhouette okay I have a fun idea for something that could look cool what would this look like that's actually not like a ridiculous amount of objects it's a lot but it's not like thousands uh I might get rid of these honestly I'm not sure I kind of want to actually make real things with those objects what I ended up doing instead was placing these Circle Clump objects I'm not sure what they're called but it looks pretty cool yeah that looks actually like kind of sick it's like it's all like broken up these tracks right here were still kind of bland so I worked on decorating those next these skulls actually make for a pretty cool design really not much else interesting about these perfect Beauty next up I used these Circle things that I used before to give my ground Spike Deco a bit more detail mmm spongy I do have an idea what's that one font they used to use all the time with like the detailed letters like brush design oh boy oh yeah no this is this could could work ah yes nah here it is here it is this is what I was looking for ah yes look at those objects now that is what we're talking about we just gotta add this is a 7 000 custom object oh this font is just the most horribly unoptimized thing I have ever seen in my life 2 300 objects what the hell is this it lags when I try to move it I have like a thousand objects left to work with this isn't what I wanted okay I actually got to optimize some of this now optimizing I added some floating particles using these rotating squares I see this used horribly all the time but it usually looks okay if you make them small enough it doesn't look kind of bad yeah do I care no I also used these Rock outline objects to make Vines growing on my blocks this is probably what these were made for finally there was a lot of empty space in this part so I made these pyramid things to fill it up but even after all that we're still not quite there I also have another idea for something they'll use up objects a little effect [Music] these scan lines don't really add anything and they don't have a reason to be here but hey it's more objects rtxon people love unnecessary glow that's like your favorite thing I'm being a lot more sparing on the objects now that I kind of got the I got the big object usage out of the way uh we have about 900 objects left to work with if I actually optimize the other stuff I make I shouldn't be that bad after adding some flowers here and there it was on to the background all right I guess I should do something with the background I know I'm not supposed to delete objects but I'm kind of tempted to just like re-imagine what's going on here I could do a cool Parallax effect you guys want a parallax effect you guys love those all right I'm gonna I'm gonna commit a sin right now and I'm gonna delete these [Music] foreign this looks kind of cool it definitely serves its purpose for the video all right I think we're just gonna add little bits and Bobs until we hit 10 000 objects we're about 500 objects shy bits have been bobbed okay um I just hypothetically how many objects would I need to have free 841 hmm no I definitely can't do that 280 that seems more doable let's optimize the way 280 objects all right we got the objects we can do it let's go very important use of objects right here okay we have six objects left what do we use them for oh wait I know what I need to add I know what I need to add maybe I'll have to free up a few more objects to do it but it's fine that's not that hard how could I have forgotten there he is with very not right colors I do need to free up two objects now but I don't think that's gonna be very hard to do it's Wubba duck you don't know who Wubba duck is error 404 not working CeX you don't know who Bubba duck is that's a Sim you're gonna go to hell probably it's fine it happens it's fine now we have to free up three objects oh no I extended these too far again but and we just delete that one ten thousand objects there we are that's what we're talking about guys please stop suggesting stuff we're at 10 000 objects you can stop suggesting stuff now uh yeah here's the final part [Music] what
