$10 vs $1,000 Pokémon Mystery Boxes!

today I've got seven different Pokemon mystery boxes all at different price points ranging from ten dollars all the way up to one thousand dollars and I'm curious does money really matter or is it all luck let's open them and find out starting with the 10 Mystery Pack right here which is I think this is like a Walgreens Mystery Pack inside there's only one booster pack and one foil card look for packs there's a one in 10 chance of Chase packs and again this is kind of old it's really not a whole lot and was only ten dollars I'm not expecting a whole lot out of this but I will say stay tuned for the rest of the video because we have some insane boxes we'll be opening later on and it looks like our 10 Mystery Pack will give us a third oh shining Fates bro this is actually super good shedding baits right now is a really expensive and an increasingly expensive set because it's so fun to open okay well cool so we got a shining Fades pack that we're gonna open up and then oh there's no card what wait wait a minute does she gets cam where's the where's the fine print includes one booster pack and one foil card there's no foil card we got scammed cool okay maybe the one booster pack will make up for it though this is shining Fates there is the Charizard shiny that you can get some freaking full art V-Max shinies and some cool poles we need Redemption right here because how do we just get scammed off the start Dreadnought okay we need Redemption here this is the one and only rainbow rare card in the entire set the rainbow out creamy V-Max all right sick you know what for a 10 Mystery Pack that I guess also kind of scammed us not bad actually I feel like we got our value back from that wow sick okay off to a fiery hot start now we're gonna take the Mystery Pack and double it with this 25 mystery box right here again this might be another like Walgreens one but this guy contains two booster packs with a one in ten Chase pack and one online code card I gave you a code card and they said that it's cooked they like marketed it as like a cool part of this you know what at least if there is a code card in here then there's actually what they said was in the Box unlike the 10 box which scammed us okay so this could be big obviously on the front of the box here you've got X revolutions you've got a gym set vintage gym challenge so they definitely marketing this is like a you could get some cool stuff so two booster packs and one online code card oh let's go we got our online code tour dude yeah why is this in here here you can have this what who why would ever anyone ever sell that okay and then inside we've got blister packs interesting I don't think we're getting anything vintage it's gonna be okay Darkness Ablaze honestly not terrible this is a set that is definitely going up in price because of the Charizard V and Charizard V Max in it so that's cool Darkness a blaze pack and this is a voltage honestly not terrible out of the mystery packs just because this is another set that is also getting expensive and has been expensive for a while now because of that Pikachu V-Max rainbow rare which I don't think I've ever pulled for myself so we could actually do that here and then also out of vivid voltage fun fact this is the last set to ever do amazing rare cards so very cool cards like amazing rare uh what Jirachi and Rayquaza are all in here and could be pulled please give me an amazing rare no amazing rare b and a b drill that was underwhelming and then we've got the darkness a blaze pack okay so hey man for a 25 Mystery Box uh this is I mean it's not great we get a code card and two sword and shield sets set packs so we're definitely not getting our value back but I mean it's uh you know it's not it's honestly not the worst we could have gotten some like random garbage sets although I feel like the years that these mystery packs were printed these were probably the newest sets so this probably is a bad value pack rare fossil and an Ampharos all right now we double it again and go to the fifth 50 dollar mystery box and this one's kind of a thickie for fifty dollars we've got five booster packs what you get five packs that's it's pretty good and obviously on the front there's brilliant Stars there's legendary collection and that's pretty much it so five packs from random sets one in ten pack I paid fifty dollars for this and the big thing here that I'm honestly hoping for now the odds of us hitting a Chase pack and getting something super cool and expensive I mean they're low but this could have because it was printed probably a year a year or two ago a couple years ago this could have a bunch of what you see here evolving Skies packs and evolving Skies right now is the most expensive sword and shield set at 400 per booster box which is obscene so if we can get some cool evolving Skies packs and maybe pull that Moon Brianna this will definitely be worth it pack number one is going to be Fusion strike okay so this is oh okay honestly Fusion strike has been kind of in the news a lot lately just because there was the big robbery of all the fusion strike rares and then they were like the crazy Wade uh Fusion strike God boxes which we did end up opening up for a video so this set it kind of hits luxray and nice and Genesect V Okay cool so we do get a hit of the pack that's not bad then the next pack I can't believe we get five packs here that's so fun it's gonna be lost origin lost origin also I mean it's not the worst this set's like I don't know so it's like four bucks a pack right now but uh you could obviously get some alternate art cards in here and some really really amazing polls this is kind of all about uh Giratina so and I'm gonna be honest with you I I see something in the back there's a there's a hit here oh my God we got a full art Kyurem V dude I saw the silver border I thought alternate art I will take a fuller q r b and again for freaking wet we're two for two right now it hits out of the Mystery Pack this is pretty good for fifty dollars as long as you're hitting that is otherwise it I don't know these packs are kind of chilling rain wow chilling rain is a set that I haven't really opened up in a long time I opened up I made thousands of packs of chilling rain when this came out because I was running a break shop and then I kind of stopped opening it because I saw everything in this set and it is a very cool set there's some amazing alternate arts and maybe we can pull one here the wacky Slurpuff okay I had a jinx myself fine all right that's uh how many more packs we have in here oh they're stuck there's two more okay darkness of place cool so like we saw earlier Darkness plays I'm not mad about it it is a set that definitely has gone up in value over time just because of the Charizard cards uh but this is an older sword and shield set so there really only were v's and V Maxes in this day and like some rainbow rares so not a whole lot of variety drink is old and then the last pack of the 50 mystery box was it worth it it's another chilling rain okay well I mean I guess it's just that's life and you know these are mystery boxes so sometimes you hit sometimes you get hit and today I think we got hit from the uh the the 50 one I I'm hoping that the other ones are gonna be more amazing I know for a fact they are actually so bang it's a rude Hollow nice and that's it fifty dollar Mystery Box no vintage let's ramp it up a bit let's jump to this 100 Mystery Box I will say I bought a lot of these off of eBay and I probably overpaid horrendously for them but we've got an iconic Mystery Box a Hollows all day and the deal with this thing is right here what's inside a graded holographic card by PSA bgs or cgc which are the big three grading companies dated from 1996 to 2010 minimum grade 7 and randomly inserted population 1 bgs tens okay so honestly this is kind of insane 1996 to 2010 minimum grade 7 PSA bgs cgc you're getting either a guaranteed vintage Hollow graded card by like a good Grading Company or you're getting something that's like kind of like later vintage again in like the late early mid late 2000s that's still kind of vintage um and and honestly these could be really expensive so this was a 100 box now we getting the value back on 100 for a slab honestly is kind of easy to do and also kind of hard to do so we'll see if we get lucky the holos all day ah okay we've got Japanese all right I guess there's a Japanese shining Mew on the back there so that makes sense okay Hollows all day we've got a Japanese cgc slab so out of all the grading companies cgc is the least valuable of the three but still valuable if the card is a banger and it's okay all right you know what not bad I'm not mad about this I'm kind of not mad about this it's a gem mint 9.5 so it is a super duper high grade right here 1997 Japanese holographic ditto now in the set fossil well this is the mystery of the fossils this is the fossil set the Vintage fossil set the ditto is definitely one of the least expensive Hollows and at a 9.5 I mean this card's probably looking around like maybe 50 bucks 60 bucks maybe 40 bucks but it's a really really cool Hollow so super happy to get that and this Holo and all of the other amazing cards that you see and we open up in today's video we'll all let's take the box and double it again we've got a 200 50 dollar mystery box right here this is another iconic Mystery Box this is kind of an older one and the reason why this is so expensive is a I paid way too much for it possibly and or B we get one graded Charizard card these are guaranteed graded Charizard slabs one PSA bgs or cgc graded Charizard card I mean there's no year guarantee there's no grade guarantee you just gotta hope and pray that for 250 dollars you get lucky with a vintage holographic Charizard like you see on the front here there's a first edition base set we've got a Skyridge Charizard we've got the Knight Neo Destiny shining Charizard I have that we've got the uh what the the gold star charge there's a lot there's a lot of Charizards that have been printed over the years and a lot of very amazing ones very expensive ones and then very cheap ones like a vivid voltage Charizard although honestly I I have a lot of faith I think this box is gonna pull some Insanity okay Charizard icon Mystery Box let me all right all right oh it's a PSA slab oh it's Japanese okay you know what I'm all for Japanese typically the Japanese Hollows are less expensive than English Hollows because in the Japanese vintage sets every single pack had a hollow inside of it whereas the English ones was a one and three-ish chance but what we have right here it's a great Charizard card it is a Japanese modern card which means it could be a shiny Charizard or a freaking Chinese Charizard V-Max or something insane there are definitely some valuable Japanese Charizard with the Japanese cards it's more about the trainers okay three two one bam it's all right all right you know what it's a 10. it's a 10. I I don't know how to feel about this it is a 2020 uh radiant Charizard from the Pokemon go set at a PSA 10. far from vintage or 2022 I'm sorry 2022 Pokemon go set now the nice thing about this is that yes this is a PSA 10 but the value of this card there's just no way that this is anywhere close to 250 dollars and I guess the nice thing about the other box the 100 box was that you got it guaranteed vintage or semi vintage card from 96 to 2010 to spend 250 and pull a card from 20 22 is a little underwhelming and this card goes for maybe around 50 roughly 30 50 so uh we I think we took an L there now things get insane because now we've got this specially custom-made 500 Pokemon mystery box and my friend the Pokemon Network made this box and the 1 000 box for me so I know for a fact some packages this is very standard for the homie I've got we got a ton in here my God okay that's it so this can this can all right so we've got one two three four five packages here and a 500 budget for this mystery box so let's see if the 500 I'm gonna open this one first what is this what is this oh what is this I should open the big one last it what what am I looking at what is this 1997 a a gold boarding pass gold boarding wait what a a isn't that an Airlines I dude I was born in 1997 by the way which is just crazy that I was born there this came out a a gold boarding pass Pocket Monsters yeah this is a this is an airline they they did Pokemon themed boarding passes wait this existed dude this is a really really cool if you could actually use these to get on the plane like is this someone's information oh no like name destination flight wait maybe dude this is really cool if this was actually a thing that you could use in 1997 to board planes uh and this was like an official partnership between a a and Pocket Monsters this is this is before Pokemon was Pokemon dude this is a really cool piece of History wow that is so thick sorry I'm like tripping over that I've never seen that before that is such a cool concept okay wow well that was amazing to start I have no idea what that something like that is worth next up we've got a slab we've got a cgc slab now this is not a graded mystery three box hold the 100 and one in ten odds box this is the Pokemon Network baby so you can guarantee this is going to be fire and it is oh wow a pristine 10 Leafeon V-Star from the V-Star Universe Japanese said that is it that's what I'm talking about we got PSA tens this guy is a cgc pristine 10. it is a perfect Leafeon card Banger we're gonna put that back there that is fantastic okay next up we've uh okay another cgc slab very nice and it's going to be a oh my God a 9.5 so it's a really high grade 2001 black star promo Entei reverse Hollow spell of the unknown Entei dude I don't even know what this is look how cool this is bro it's like the OG Hollow foil but it's the reverse version of it it's all over this is I have never seen a card like this and I've definitely never seen this card specifically this is a really cool grab wow dog what I mean what an absolutely gorgeous card right here this is that is so sick okay so I mean so far I mean obviously this 500 pack is is absolutely winning um like my long shot okay another cgc label here another cgc graded card which will give us drum roll can it be the last one it's a mix nine no way first edition Team Rocket Dark Charizard non-hollow at a cgc mint 9 this is an incredible Pokemon card right here and it's just a piece of history and the fact that it's first edition is really cool bro Dark Charizard one of the best ones ever printed so sick from Team Rocket one of the best sets ever printed dude and that is I mean that is an absolute W man this is I wonder okay this makes me curious how oh we have a vintage pack in here this makes me really curious what is going to be inside of the one thousand dollar box okay well we have to get there first right now oh we've got vintage this is wait there's another thing in here what is this oh okay just top loaders thank you for the top loaders we've got a vintage pack it's Japanese vintage Japanese vintage Team Rocket whoa this is so cool I almost don't want to open this this is a Japanese vintage Team Rocket pack with the I think that's the original price tag on it isn't it that that's that's really cool if I'm not mistaken this is 7.95 this should be the original price tag I'm just gonna peel it off because I want to see what's underneath it this must have been in some store uh here in America at some point here 12.95 it was sold for and it looks like the price was dropped to 7.95 and now this pack is worth around two hundred dollars this pack went through some crazy inflation and value here that is so cool it's a 200 pack and the reason we're gonna open this the reason why I'm not gonna the reason why this is so expensive is because like I said before the deal with Japanese vintage is that every single pack has a holographic which means every pack you have a chance at pulling well out of this set the holographic Dark Charizard I do not know the card trick oh my God I now know the card trick I don't know if you saw that but I saw what Hollow we got let's check this out guaranteed vintage Team Rocket Japanese Hollow in here nice we've got the Charmander very cool oh my God the Charmeleon does that mean Charizard of this pack we've got the grimer which actually had its eyes correct this is a band card we're gonna have a fun video opening up band cards because it's eyes earned well they're not where they need to be okay we've got that nice the dark Jolteon this is such a cool Jolteon card I love that the Eevee dude we're getting all of like the great cards out of this we've got the uh the Ponyta a Professor Oak and the rare the guaranteed Japanese vintage Hollow is a dark Magneton this is an amazing card from the set it's not Charizard obviously but dude look at that beautiful swirl right there so good and this is a really really hard card to pull enough and not mistaken at least in the English set this is one of the most expensive cards expensive holographic cards in all of Team Rocket so I don't know how the Japanese values are for this one but I know that this is expensive going for around somewhere between 90 to 140 at a PSA 10. so a really cool card to grab there and dude the 500 Mystery Box I mean look at this this is for sure easily the best thing we've opened up so far but it's not the last because right now my friends it is time for the 1 000 mystery box which was four five packages here and a thousand dollars in value to look through let's start off oh oh cool okay sweet we've got some uh we've got some sink just one card okay oh no this is gonna be insane dog if we paid a thousand dollars for this box and there's a single card this is about to be ridiculous it's gonna be oh my God it is ridiculous a Rayquaza V alternate art from evolving Skies bro no freaking way this is such a cool card such a nice card and it is definitely the chase one of the biggest chases from evolving Skies which is now again the most expensive sword shield set and one of the most expensive modern sets by far so that is a crazy thing to see bro yeah you've got Zinnia you've got rayquazi you've got the Whismur crying here so sick okay I mean that is a a incredibly hot start and then now we've got a cgc slab once again again this is the thousand dollar box so it's gonna be insane oh my God and it is shiny charizard V-Max and a cgc 9.5 this is a near perfect shiny charizard V-Max now this card in English is expensive but it's not the craziest Charizard but in Japanese if I'm not mistaken it should be worth a lot more because this card comes from the set shiny star V which is a really really hard to find very expensive Japanese set and this is the biggest card you can pull so that is incredible a beautiful card too I I love seeing this one always what a grab shiny charizard Vmax okay all right well this is just the craziest box easily of the video all right we got another slab right here another cgc slab the last one was trying to Charizard V-Max this one oh my God again I dude I just recently had this card I actually just recently had this in a cgc4 and I just gave it away again the Discord Link in the description to figure out how to get in on these giveaways because we're gonna give away this card and that card to all these ones okay wow cgc mint 9 Gold Star Entei from ex unseen forces this is absolutely an iconic card and a very expensive one and to come in at a cgc mint 9 is ridiculous this card itself going for around 375 bro that is so sick okay well I mean what what can follow that up bro that is just oh yes dude yes I was hoping we'd get to open up a vintage pack oh my God okay okay what's it gonna be all right this is a pack I mean some of you might already be able to tell from back here this is wait tops what is this hold on hold on hold on it's going to be dude the tops Chrome pack oh my God wait this is so sick he always sends these cool like tops packs man these are valuable and a pack like this goes for around 200 because if I'm not mistaken there are cards in here that go for hundreds of dollars at like a PSA nine not even a PSA 10 including a Charizard card which looks incredible all right let's see let's open this pack dude I this is this pack is from what is this this pack is from 2000 so I don't know the card trick I don't exactly know how this works I I don't know what really I really don't know what to look for oh my God wait whatever whatever's on this whatever's on the back side here was sticking to the oh they're all kind of like stuck together this is this is weird it was taking the packet it feels like there's like a hollow full or something on oh there's oh cool look at that we got a neat Arena card sweet okay so they all kind of have this cool like Halloween Vibe okay this is Gloom oh my God I see Charmander sweet we've got a Gloom card here these are really really good quality as well what a cool I've never seen a Pokemon card like this we've got Charmander that's a big deal man that's a big deal look at this guy this dude at a PSA 10 goes for actually over 200 so if this is good quality it's definitely worth getting the grade what a really I mean a cute little guy and a really really cool piece we also have a gold bat oh my God we got a freaking we hit something big oh my God all right we've got Golbat very cool and yes check it out a Venusaur wrong no way we got the starter a Venusaur coming out of this now granted this car to psa9 is like I don't know it's like 50 so it's not the most expensive one the Charmander was more expensive but this is really really cool wow what a what a sick these are oh my God these are so these are so cool I definitely be getting these graded these are fun okay and then here we go the last package in the 1 000 Mystery Box I am expecting this to be absolutely insane and it's kind of it's it's big look how big this is what imagine he put uh like one of the one of the graded pack or graded card mystery boxes in here I mean it's something sealed what is this oh watch no way this is a base set Brush Fire theme deck bro what I mean this thing goes for around 200 sealed look at that dude it's got like the original original plastic to hang from and like this is so cool in this box you'll find 60 cards one Pokemon coin 10 damage counter and one rule book and there's a special holographic card in each deck are you saying there's a base set hollow inside here it's such a cool piece of Pokemon history man it's got the original plastic this is a mystery box video and I'm addicted so I think we opened this guy up and see what kind of vintage Hollow we get out of it I'm showing oh my God I dropped it wow this is so crazy also too that the crazy thing is at the time that probably wasn't considered anything wild the fact that there was like a holographic card in here so um but now dude this plastic is so old man it just like it like just falls apart okay let's oh man it's it's I can't even rip this properly it's this is kind of sad to open this up but it's vintage we're gonna give it a go we've got the brush fire theme deck box okay I've never opened up a box like this before so cool all right pop this open yeah nice oh nice yeah what's inside of here this is way through this is so cool look you got your like little vintage marbles you've got uh you've got wow this is so cool the rules the rule book for this the Pokemon trading card game so look wow okay what a cool what a cool nostalgic thing huh all right you get that and then there's also this guy oh fun look it's chance like a little Hollow Chansey wow okay and then we get this theme deck the holographic card might be oh that's it so that's it from the box the hollow card might be the card on the other side so it's a deck of 60 cards there's a hollow inside oh nice dude it's a base set holographic nine tails man no way God imagine this Charizard I mean still such a cool thing to see dude a base set Hollow vintage base set Hollow as you can see it's like very very Factory sealed nice and tight so I don't know how the quality of this card will be it's probably a little banged up on the edges but I don't think I'm gonna open up this um can probably keep this sealed I guess if we're gonna grade the hollow I'm gonna have to open this up anyways okay no I'm gonna open it because I'm gonna end upgrading that uh that uh this guy right here the hollow nine tails and we're gonna be giving this guy the graded one away so if you want to see maybe get yourself a graded card from this again the discord's in the description figure out how we give all this stuff away okay there we go got it I got it I just don't want to oh my God I don't want to like hurt the hollow bro this is such a weird way to like pull a holographic card nice look at this okay I'm gonna put these cards down on this check it out check it out check it out base set Hollow nine tails the foil looks pretty good the car itself honestly fantastic quality for being packaged up like that and just kind of like sitting around in a box and I'm sure being banged around for years so that is so cool Hollow nine tails and then also in this let's see what other these are 59 base set cards or 60 basic cards these are all valuable cards in their in their own way just because it's all base set so nice we got a ton of Weedle cool Tangela Weedle okay we got Nidoran maybe there's some charmanders in here sick and Arcanine very cool Arcanine there's growl yes dude base at Charmeleon base at Charmeleon nice I know those are valuable yes we got two base three four basic charmanders bro no way these guys did a PSA 10 go for around like 70 a piece for a PSA 10 base at Charmander so that is uh that is really really cool and then yeah nice then we got like all of our trainer cards I'm sure that's probably it yeah trainer cards and then we've got all of the base set energies a lot of fire energy in here because we did end up getting that Hollow fire so I'm gonna be very careful with this but that was dude that was so sick and to end on a base set Hollow is amazing big shout to the Pokemon Network and thank you for watching this
