- These are the top ten things you should be buying at ALDI in the month of May. Welcome back to the channel, I'm the YouTube Deal Guy, Matt Granite, I'm excited to have you guys here. I'm gonna bring you inside my local ALDI, and showcase the hottest May finds, including mashup cereal concoctions! Those are so cool! Funnel cake kits, under $3. Solar outdoor lighting. Step ladders, hand trucks, and all the things you wouldn't believe you could actually buy as a great find from ALDI. This video is not sponsored. If you like this content, please give this video a thumbs up. Subscribe if you can, turn your notifications on. And the first thing you should be buying at ALDI in the month of May, curtain lights, or canopy lights as they're often called. Trendy, very popular for both indoor and outdoor decor. And I'm gonna show you some other options for solar lighting in a few moments. But the price of $14.99 for a great way to adorn and decorate. Birthdays, anniversaries, so many other celebrations, or just a nice way to interject personality into different corners of your home. Both inside and out. In the number two spot, it's baking essentials galore. And if you shop at ALDI frequently, you know that you can find all sorts of great ways to assist with baking. Let's start with the number cake pan. And in fact, I'm actually recording this video on my birthday, so a present is that we do get to spend time together. And this is a great product for $12.99 to assist with birthdays and special occasions. The loaf pans. The square cake pan and the cookies sheets, all at ALDI this month for $3.99. The 10 piece food storage kit. $12.99. A superior quality and build to what I would find at my local Dollar Tree. The decor wooden cutting blocks. Very nice at $9.99. And a guac keeper. Great for dips and salsa as well. $6.99. In the number three spot of what you should be buying at ALDI in the month of May, two products to assist with DIY projects, and then I'm gonna tackle some dessert options like you wouldn't believe. The step ladder that you can find at ALDI this month. $59.99. I did mention I'm moving with my family to our new house. So this is definitely something that we'd like to keep handy. And this folding hand truck. $24.99. Great for all those future shopping trips to ALDI, for moving stuff around your home for different projects. The backyard. Going to the park. The hardware store. Some of the big box retailers. And if you guys are watching right now and you are Costco or Sam's Club shoppers, I do have videos right here on this channel, showcasing the best buys at your favorite warehouse clubs in the month of May. In the number four spot, it's dessert galore! And let's begin with the churro cookies. $1.95 combines the greatness that you know and love of a churro, and a decadent cookie. I love that. You can get an entire funnel cake kit for $2.69. A fun, simple dessert project that you can tackle on your own. This is definitely something I'm gonna do with my daughter. A creme brulee for $4.99. That taste more reminiscent of what you would find at a really good restaurant where you would possibly pay somewhere between $9 and $12 for this dessert. And a Magnum ruby cacao ice cream combination, $4.98. Definitely one of the better flavors available at ALDI in the month of May. In the number five spot, and before we tackle more options for your backyard, camping, hiking, or tailgating, solar outdoor lanterns. For $9.99. Definitely something you might wanna consider. Particularly good if you have any camping or hiking trips on the horizon. Also great to have as an accompaniment to your emergency kit for blackouts, power outages, and bad weather. In the number six spot, as I prepare to tackle some items for your backyard, I'd like you all to notice that I am pronouncing "ALDI" properly in this video, and not "Alldi" as I did in my last video, which almost cost me all of my subscribers as I learned I was the victim of a very bad April Fool's Day prank. ALDI, ALDI, ALDI. I got it! I can say it! All right! Backyard items. Beginning with the stacking chairs. $12.99. Phenomenal to have when extra, unexpected guests show up. Also good for tailgating. The stacking rockers. Love this. I think it's worth double the price versus the stacking chair at $24.99. Plus cushions for chairs. Not just these ones, but other ones. $14.99. Or a bench. Why not? A bench. $14.99. If you've never considered buying products for your backyard from ALDI, I'm definitely impressed by what I am seeing this month. In the number seven spot, before I explore an accessory slash fashion find at ALDI, the thin crust pizzas. Available this month. For a price of $4.99. Phenomenal. I know I don't need to stand here and remind you just how phenomenal the Mama Cozzi pizzas are as a whole. And some of the best frozen pizza I've ever ingested. But the thin crust pizzas are definitely something you should be buying at ALDI in the month of May. Specifically for the new flavors, concoctions, and topping options. I am impressed. In the number eight spot, just checking my fingers, make sure everything's good, of what you should be buying at ALDI in the month of May. It's a fashion accessory you might wanna consider. Oh, I noticed my tie has come loose again. I always wanna make sure that I look borderline, almost presentable before I discuss fashion accessory finds. But these garden rain boots, available for both men and women. $14.99. And for kids! My daughter's almost ready for these. She turns three in a month. All sizes available for them. At $9.99. My wife absolutely loved the purple ones. And I'm conversing with you guys right now at a time where I feel like it's rained for almost three weeks straight in my community. This is something that I wish was available at ALDI last month. Although I am definitely happy to see it right now. From boots to shoes, and the number nine spot, it's a shoe organizer. More reflective of what you might see at IKEA. Well at $19.99, I feel like this costs more than what I would see at an IKEA. Or is definitely a few dollars more than what I would find at a Five Below. I like the design, I like the quality. And just to add one other product to this category, an entire 50 pack of felt hangers. For $14.99. Given that these are felt hangers, and under 15 bucks for that many, I'll take that! That's definitely something you might want in your shopping basket. In the number 10 spot, before I get to a bonus round that includes everything from gluten free doughnuts to air purifiers, I was very impressed by these LED puck lights. I bought them, I took them home. This is the footage of me using them. And for $14.99, I was impressed by the quality. While I have seen comparable products advertised at both Walmart and Amazon, these just have a bit of a nice build. Three AA batteries do the trick. You get a remote control, you can change the colors, the strength of the lighting. And I am very impressed that I was able to find these for $14.99. Including everything you see in the set. This would be great for an under kitchen counter, for a closet, for any area of your home where you need more lighting, where you do not want to deal with the complications of wiring or even contacting an electrician. I am sold! Be sure to keep watching after the bonus section of this video. Because right after I finished assembling it, I found some really awesome new finds. Including, a $95 barbecue. And now, for the bonus buys of what you should be buying at ALDI in the month of May, including a breakfast concoction that will forever change your time at the breakfast table, let's begin with bonus buy number one, it's gluten free month at ALDI. Which means, pasta, pizza, desserts, and doughnuts. Now I don't have a lot of experience with gluten free food, but while I was in the store, I was advised by an employee that I should check out the doughnuts. The store that I was in only had one box left, and I really wanted chocolate. So you gotta understand your cravings. I went to another ALDI, and while prices may vary, I will tell you they are low, and they are certainly worth the cost of admission. Bonus buy number two, and I'm including this as a bonus rather than a top 10 recommendation, just because it's perhaps a little bit late in the season for you to consider a garden greenhouse. But you can find both these sizes available at ALDI for $24.99. The price is the same regardless of what you select. Bonus buy number three. It's a paper shredder. And a decent one for $39.99. The reason I am including this as a bonus buy, this is consistent with what you would see at Staples. And about $7 more than a comparable option from Amazon. Bonus buy number four. New candle scents and fragrances available. $3.99, a very attractive price and better than what you would find from a Dollar Store. A shattered glass look for $4.99. Or a fancy glass enclosure. $5.99. There are also fragrance options at both under $4 and under $5. You will be well taken care of in this category at ALDI. Bonus buy number five, before we close it out strong with the cereal, an air purifier at $69.99. Now this HEPA air purifier is a two-in-one, it's got a filter to remove both odors, chemicals, mildew, allergens, formaldehyde. And this is more than competent option. Complete with three speeds, a timer function, and it's ability to handle both small and medium-large sized rooms, at a relatively small price. And bonus buy number six. Prepare to have your mind blown. Unless of course, you've seen this before. I did not know cereal mashup combinations existed. So imagine your favorite cereals, preassembled, in a perfect box. Frosted Flakes and Froot Loops, have come together for $2.98. And while I realize you could just buy both cereals on their own, to have them cleverly combined, making it a little bit more convenient, for travel, quick snacking, or accomplishing that perfect, balanced cereal mashup ratio. For under $3, this is something new that certainly peaked my interest. It's one of those, why didn't I think of it? Mind blown! How simple! Or, I could just do that on my own, and not pay someone else. And now, today, I proudly debut a bonus bonus section. Because who doesn't want to use that word as often as they can? In the number one spot! Bonus bonus number one. A cordless wet/dry vacuum. $29.99. Bonus bonus number two. I know earlier on I showcased a stacking chair and a stacking rocker, but I just found a folding rocking chair for $49.99, and a beverage lawn stake for just $2.99. Bonus bonus number three. A four tier shoe rack for $19.99. And weave baskets of a higher grade in terms of build, to what I would find at a Dollar Store. $12.99. Bonus bonus number four. Your small appliance buy of the day. An egg cooker. For $8.99. Looks comparable to the ones you'd see from Dash for a few dollars more. Bonus bonus number five. A three piece bath rug set. $12.99. A splatter screen for five bucks, and kitchen silicon assortments galore, like scrub gloves for $6.99. Suction lids. Trivets. And spoon rests. All $5.99, which is why they have made it into the bonus bonus section. Bonus bonus number six! A wind spinner for $14.99. A charcoal grill. Look at this, guys! $94.99. Just in time for Father's Day. Even when you buy the grill cover, purchased separately for $8.99, you are at an incomparably low price for both the charcoal grill and the grill cover at ALDI. You add in a barbecue tool for $3.99. You're laughing all the way to the bank. And I should mention, this barbecue tool appears to be of stronger quality to what I would find at a Dollar Tree. And bonus bonus number seven. Mediterranean kabobs. For $4.99. And French style yogurt in glass containers. And look at these! They are ready to serve, host, and impress. And that $4.45 price is very impressive if you ask me. I wanted to thank you guys for being here for me. For making it this far into the video. If you guys like this content, please feel free to subscribe, turn your notifications on. And if you give this a thumbs up or share it with a fellow ALDI shopper, that helps me more than I can explain in a video, and thank you for that.
