eventually go on to reprise his Aquaman role and voiceover for the animated film Justice League the New Frontier which debuted in 2008. working on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was a nightmare for him he voices Raphael in the live-action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film series unfortunately things were rough behind the scenes and the actor told a story about the main Turtles actors being abandoned in a parking lot he said they wouldn't let us in the cars to go home the turtles they wanted to get the crew out of there to get them off the clock if they stayed they had to pay them if we stayed they don't we're sitting on our backpacks in an empty car park it's almost unimaginable that people would get treated this way on a professional movie set but it just goes to show that there are many things that take place behind the scenes that never see the light of day it's a shame things played out so poorly for richen but thankfully all of those rough days on set ultimately led him series during a conversation with collider rich and revealed that he read about 24 Jack Reacher books to perfect his character for season one he said as an actor the first step that I take is to absorb as much material as I can that exists whether that's just the script or in this case I had 24 books to pour over my job was reading these books and it didn't feel like work at all I love the
