10 Things We HATE About Our 2022 Winnebago Revel Van

we're just gonna ignore her then so the first reason why we hate the rebel van is because it's so hard to get the hot water heater to work it has to be super level in order for the hot water heater to turn on and stay on and create that hot water times where we were pretty level and it still kind of kicked us out gave us that error code and we had to readjust so the second thing that we do not like about the rebel is that they come with an upgraded package not always but most of the time they come with method racing wheel rims which are not bad my biggest complaint is they come with ko2s and if you're not familiar with ko2s either people love them and die by them or there's people like me who very much dislike them because I've been in the off-roading community and they are the hardest Tire to balance I get the death wobble at 65 miles an hour so as soon as we are able to we're going to upgrade these to a different all-terrain tire because these are so hard to balance and I just don't feel like dealing with it so the third reason why we dislike the Revel is every time we've had to use the hot water we've had to either pop one of the breakers and I readjust it or we've had to reset the fuses over here all right number four reason why we dislike kind of hate the rebel is that it's um it's very tight for people who are a little bit fluffy and have hips so that's a little bit of a squeeze and then obviously if you have two people here it makes it hard to kind of like shimmy around but you can definitely walk sideways if you know how to do that like a crab so with that being is that it does make it a little bit more confined area so the fifth reason why we dislike the Revel is partly because of the bed we have had to add on a huge latex mattress and we're actually planning on adding another egg crate foam underneath because the mattress that it comes with is really hard and it's not very thick at all so the sixth reason that we dislike the Revel has to do with the bathroom so first off we tried putting the toilet paper well secondly first off we tried playing the toilet paper and where it's supposed to go obviously it's not there we could not fit the factory toilet paper holder in here it came warped we just decided not to use it plus it's not exactly very waterproof so our solution keep the toilet paper in here last time I took a shower I tried to shower in here with the toilet paper in there with it locked you would think it's supposed to be waterproof our toilet paper was ruined and then in our shower we actually had to reattach this shower head holder it came the screws were pretty stripped um I kind of had to redrill in adding some inserts and then re-cock it reason number seven that we dislike kind of hate our Rebel is the small cooking area inside we've had to deal with this a lot lately because of the rain so you have this space right here but when you go to we keep our induction in here when you go to get your induction and put it on here you don't have much more room so what's nice is that they do give you an extension to shove in the side here this is what this little clip is for so this is stored under the bench seat and what you do is you take both of these you line them up and then you kind of you know gently coarse it in maybe last time I did this it hurt all right so and then you're just gonna shove it in there and then you get this little extra space um we prefer to cook outside but when you have to cook inside especially at Harvest host you definitely want this extension on there so having such a small area kind of does suck so number eight as to why I personally don't like the Revel and for any short people I'm sure you might kind of understand these seats are kind of high I am short and it's kind of hard for me to reach the gas pedal um I can't really comfortably put my heel on the ground my butt cramps really bad when that happens so I've adapted to kind of driving with my foot on the top of the gas pedal it works but it's not the most comfortable so the ninth reason why we dislocate the rebel is because the 4x4 is not easy to disengage so when we did put it in the 4x4 we it was easy we just rolled into it and then when we disengaged it when we were stuck in all that mud and everything we had to roll through all the gears and then you heard this loud clunk and then you knew it was disengaged but it is hard to do that so 10th reason why we dislocate the rebel is because the sound system everybody knows the curse of this metal speaker I'm not going to turn the music up because we'll probably get copyrighted but you have to pretty much unhook that for the sound system to actually be good um I think realm rig now has come out with a solution to this so we hopefully will upgrade this because we do like listening to our music while we are on our trips so these are just 10 things that honestly they kind of Annoy Us there are certain things like with her you know she hates because it's hard for her to drive it but honestly the pros still outweigh the cons of this for us at least right now absolutely so we hope you enjoyed this video we're coming out with videos
