10 Things Amelia Dimoldenberg Can’t Live Without | 10 Essentials

I'm riding in my my fear you really have to see it I'm sorry Hi GQ it's me Amelia and these are my 10 essential items My First Essential item is my Gucci scarf from the jiggle jiggle music video I never thought I would be filming a music video with my hero Louis through that's the second time I met him and he is as perfect in real life as he is in his documentaries I just love this as a memorabilia and I also love the scarf because wearing it like when you wear it like this like very light I mean maybe I look terrible now this is meant to be really glamorous but getting Louis through on chicken shop day was a dream of mine from like the very beginning and then finally this year he agreed to do it thank you to his sons for being like used to do chicken shop date I think that's part of the main reason he did it I've watched every single documentary that he's ever done and I remember one Weird Weekends episode where he did his jiggle jiggle wrap and I asked him about it and I said can you remember any of the rap that you did when we were on our date and he performed the wrap acapella and then it just took off on Tick Tock then a label picked up the song and then Jason Derulo jumped on the remix and then all of a sudden we were filming a music video and I was riding around in a theater with Louis through with this scarf on my head my next item is eye drops oh yeah essential driest eyes ever I wake up in the morning and my eyes are glued shut so then I just like fumbling around my bedside table looking for my eye drops and then I'll put them in and then I'm alive then one time actually I was really really hungover and I was like reaching for um my water I got my contact lens bottle and I thought it was my water bottle I drank my eye drops and I don't know what was happening maybe I was still drunk and I just didn't realize how small this was but I drank my eye drops and that is so bad because if you drink this solution like basically you're on the toilet for like the whole day but yeah don't do that do you put them in your eye the next essential I have chicken nuggets my whole show is based around me eating them it's like my favorite kind of chicken boneless maybe I've done about 75 episodes of chicken shop day and every time I'm eating nuggets sadly I will just like nibble them because I'm just concentrating so much on what I've got to say if you look down at my chicken box at the end of an episode you'll just see like loads of just nibbled nuggets it's actually quite disgusting because the audio was like never one and I'll put it down and then I'll forget to pick that one up but I'll just get a new one of it like a little rabbit the reason I feel my show in a chicken shop is because I wanted to go on a date where you would never usually go on a date to make it funny so that's how the chicken shop element happened and I honestly love chicken nuggets and chips so it's a perfect location for a day in my opinion I don't really have a favorite guess because I love all of them equally but if I had to choose I love the Jack Harlow episode that was a great one because he kind of flirted back with me I think he was flirting with me he was so I really like that one because not many people do actually flirt with me burn a boy episode is a great one the Kiki Palmer have episode one this year the mati Healey one as well that was I love that one so much I've watched it back so many times is that sad that I watched my episodes back no it's not it's cool what is something that I look for in a date I don't really have a type I guess it's just are you cute are you good looking do you like chicken nuggets my next item is my grommet mug every morning when I wake up I have to have a cup of tea to survive the day I'm a huge Wallace and Gromit fan grew up watching all of art of an animation and they're some of my favorite films Creature Comforts in particular is like a huge inspiration for me admin's sense of humor Wallace and Gromit sense of humor Chicken Run it's the awkwardness you know grommet he's kind of awkward he doesn't talk and then Wallace his smile I kind of have the similar one going on so we're very similar words I mean Chicken Run is one of my favorite films they're actually making a chicken run too and I've emailed them so many times trying to get into the new Chicken Run film because it's chicken run dawn of the nuggets if you see this ardman can you put me in that film because I would just honestly I could cough I could sneeze in it and I'd be happy my next item is the notes app in my phone I use it every day and I have 2917 notes my sister she has five notes in her phone I was like to have what you do with your thoughts maybe she doesn't have any thoughts maybe that's probably what's happening every single thought that I have goes into my notes if I fancy a guy and I'm like messaging them I'll like type out all the messages first in my notes just to make sure they're perfect and then I will mesh them my next item is a hot water bottle I go to bed every night with a hot water bottle it just makes me feel like so comfortable makes me sleep better put it like over hug it like this or I put it between my legs um makes me feel like I've got someone else in the bed with me when I don't really period pains fantastic for those I learned Britney Spears dance routine and I basically was whipping my hair back and forth so much that I got whiplash in my neck and then I had a hot water bottle behind my neck for like three days so it's good for those kind of things too if you're into dancing if you're into physical activity I actually feel like water bottles are so underrated and I just would like to say quickly thank you for being you a moment for the water bottle well done all of the items are a zombie apocalypse even though I love the whole world I don't think the whole world supposed to be that great in a zombie apocalypse maybe chicken nuggets because I reckon if you gave a chicken nugget to a zombie it wouldn't be so angry anymore my next essential item is a miniature hair brush and actually it comes with a mini mirror as well I got this when I was in Japan with my mum on holiday I carry a mini hairbrush with me like everywhere I go wherever I am the mirror is is kind of complicated because it's so small like I can just see like one eye at a time or like one nostril oh actually Japan is the most amazing place and they love many things there I just think I can go from looking bang average to pretty good with this miniature hair brush so the next item I have is my mints really expensive iCarly meant every go because I don't like chewing gum it's always so strong the taste of mint I could like liquor chewing up and I'm done with it it's always good to have with you I meant just so your breath doesn't smell and also if you want to kiss someone you know you've got to be prepared and I'm always ready to kiss someone it just doesn't happen that often but I am prepared for it to happen if I am doing a date with someone and they do have bad breath then the next item I have is lip balm love it lose it all the time I put lip balm on when I wake up before I go to bed Bury Me a lip balm actually I want to be cremated but chromate me and lip balm you can put lip balm in your eyebrows um I think I will lip on my eyebrows right now to gel them you can put lip balm on your elbows if they're dry you could put lip balm anywhere really if you wanted to but maybe you shouldn't my next item is All About Love by Bell hooks All About Love is a book that I give to any of my friends who are going through a breakup it's like a set of amazing essays in a sense about what love is kind of just taking love seriously my favorite thing about this book is the part in here where it talks about how romantic love isn't better than any other kinds of Love A lot of the times you feel like when you don't have romantic love in your life you're missing out and then you're constantly yearning for it when actually there's probably so much love in your life already there is no special love exclusively reserved for romantic Partners genuine love is the foundation of our engagement with ourselves with family with friends with partners with everyone we choose to love so yeah love is all around us it's not just
