today I'm going to teach you 10 more of the coolest Rubik's Cube patents you'll ever find and even how you can apply it to a higher order Cube like this 5x5 right here I mean look at that that's incredible like before the 10 patents are going to be done on 10 interesting Rubik's Cubes you see we have some fan favorites returning but also some cubes that we didn't see the last time and will there be a bonus patter at the end I don't know you're just going to have to watch to the ENT to C all right Buckle in here we go our first patent is called 4T the algorithm right there but if you don't know how to read it here's a really quick crash cause if you don't need this double tap on the right side of the screen to skip the next 20 seconds but here we go every Cube has six sides and we've got names for them this is up and down left and right front and back so if you see a u it means move the upper layer clockwise like this if you see U Prime that little apostrophe it means move the appala anticlockwise so this would be r r Prime l l Prime see because clockwise is this way f f Prime d d Prime and finally b b Prime I know that doesn't look like it's clockwise but if you turn around and look at the back layer that is clockwise see b b Prime oh and if you need to do the same move twice then we might say U2 to basically do 180°. now after all that if it's still too hard to follow I'm going to go at a speed that hopefully you can copy but if not just use YouTube's 0.5 play speed or something thing and you'll be right and here we go F2 D2 F Prime L2 D2 U2 R2 B Prime U2 F2 and here it is 40 get it some of you might have thought that was like 40 the number but it's 40 or it could be four of the shape which is I don't know what this is It's Shan yes it's the Chinese character Shan it's cool I like it now you might be wondering hang on how about these two faces how about 6t you're way ahead of me buddy 6t is the next pattern and it goes like this F2 R2 U2 F Prime B D2 L2 F and B and there it is 6t of the te's all over the place which one do you like better they're both pretty cool oh in the last video some people said it was hard to like fix the cube afterwards so I'm also going to give you the inverse or the reverse of these algorithms so it should put the cube back to normal our next two patterns are actually kind of variations of this guy which you might remember from the first video first things first let's do it's called Ron's cube in a cube uh I'm guessing because Ron invented it shout out again to rubiks.com where I got all these patterns we find all these Al and even more right here we go f d Prime fime r d fime r Prime d r d l Prime f l d r Prime f d Prime and that's Ron's cube in a cube see I actually quite like it it's like this but you retain like an entire top color oh and like the cubes are like up there oh hey hey it's t this is 2 T see the t's are like on the faces here but this one the T goes across too 2 T okay sorry Ron don't mean to like rename your puzzle runs cube in a cube works as well but this next one man when I first saw it I was like huh and then the more I looked at it I was like huh okay let's just give it a go it's L2 B2 D Prime B2 D L2 U R2 d R2 b u r Prime F2 ah U Prime B Prime U Prime right right it's weird it's sort of like the cube in a cube but then it just keeps going to the bottom and so there's nothing you can do on the other side but then I just does this weird like swappy line thing I don't know how to make of it do you like it it's Trippy get another really good one to do to your friend if like they're a cuber just do this to their Cube and you freak them out like they won't know what to do with it like what do you do with this okay next up we've got two really fun ones and we're going to be using those Crazy Cubes from the last time I say crazy because if you know your color scheme you'll know that blue should not be there it should be red and yellow should not be there it should be orange I Remix these cubes so I can get weird patterns on them stunning with one called Tetris yeah see if you can guess why it's called Tetris as we make it it's a nice sh one and it goes l r f b u Prime D Prime wow that's all six faces in a row two more L Prime R Prime and that's it and how is this Tetris you're wondering but wait do you see the shapes yeah it's basically just L's it's just L's all around cuz sometimes you just have to take the L L for Lucky of course all right this one's called slash and well when you see what it looks like you might understand why here we go r l f b r l f b and you guessed it r l f b yep same thing three times white on top and then a solid color below well it's righted in this case but look right you see why it's called slash that's like V look 2T this should be called Tov TV actually shout out to those of you who are watching this YouTube video on TV apparently more and more of my viewers are doing that so hey Mom I'm on TV okay these NS two are really interesting let's just say that uh he's a weird CB here we go this one's called Twisted chicken feet I'm not making it up it's its actual name and it goes like this F L Prime d F Prime U Prime b u f u Prime f r Prime F2 l u Prime R Prime D2 Tada man this feels like an optical illusion and I said I was going to show you how you would do that to a 5x5 and here's how step number one do the exact same algorithm and make sure that you're just doing it to the outer layers so really quickly and then you got that right it looks so weird but I mean that entire thing is a centerpiece so it's the exact same algorithm but next you're going to do that same thing again but this time instead of moving the outer layers you're going to move this so two layers at a time that applies to this as well and this you're basically going to treat it like it's still a 3X3 but you're always going to like turn those so here we go same starting orientation as before and we're going to go f but this time look it's like a wide F we call it a wide F cuz we do both together got to be really careful that you're doing the whole thing correct so wide F wide L Prime wide D wide fpre wide U Prime wide B wide U wide F wide U Prime wide F wide R Prime wide F2 wide L wide U Prime wide R Prime and wide D2 and there she is how crazy is that it does work for every single pattern but try your luck you'll actually get some really interesting stuff so that's Twisted chicken feet why is it twisted chicken feet but this one's even worse this next one's called exchanged duck feet here we go u f R2 F Prime D Prime r u B2 U2 F Prime R2 f d B2 r b Prime and there it is that that's a thumbnail right there isn't it this actually looks like it could be going both in or out of the screen subscribe to team man okay sorry about that but oh we're already here pattern 9 and 10 they're going to be done on the felt Cube you might remember this felt Cube from the last video but this time we have the felt Cube in like pastel colors which is really cool I also got this on Etsy if you're wondering and another product from Etsy how nice bdazzled Diamond studded Cube that isn't actually diamonds but here we go so we're going to go B Prime U Prime B Prime L Prime d b u D2 b u l d Prime L Prime U L2 and d and there you go how cool is that okay I need to see what this would look like on a regular Cube so I can compare the two and oh yeah W look at that that's confusing actually this feels like it could be a really good one if you did it to a 5x5 and you did like you know twice so let here we go if we just do it the outer layer version so that's Exchange rings that looks so weird such a wide like Exchange rings and then we're going to do it again but this time we're going to do wide moves yes yes yes yes yes yes oh my gosh dude you really have to try this one this is even more like what is reality subscribe to team man okay sorry patter number 10 there is one more and it's called spiral so it's going to go like this L Prime B Prime t u r q Prime R Prime T2 R2 d l d Prime L Prime R Prime f u and you get a SP man this this is just like pure Christmas man this glitter cube is actually like the prettiest thing on Earth but I've been told this spiral pattern is especially good to do on big cubes like a really big Cube this is my 7x7 I haven't tried it yet but apparently if you do it the first time you know to the outou aays do the second time to you know wide and do it the third time to wide three moves like that you're going to get something pretty crazy here we go so we'll do it once the first time okay that's how spiral that looks so weird and then we're going to do it wide now oh I don't know what I did something's happening okay wait let's try it again but wide this time so wao what is this that's weird I mean you can see how this similar right like the spiral pattern in both but like it's just so Majestic in these big cubes unfortunately that is the end of my I'm just kidding I've got an 11th pattern for you and uh yeah this cube is too big yep that's better on The Big Cube we're going to do my bonus pattern for you this one's literally called weirdo so how appropriate because you know I'm a weirdo and it goes like this R Prime F Prime this is so weird U F2 U Prime f r Prime f 2 D2 F2 D2 again F2 again what D come on uh F2 why so many twos a two and finally You2 and here it is weo what is this it's like cube in a something yeah this really is weirdo but which one of these 10 Pats was your favorite personally I'm going to have to go with the Exchange rings and in particular how it looked like on the 5x5 if you know any other cool patterns let me know down in the comments if you want to know even more cool patterns check out this video right here bye
