10 Pets that SHOULD BE in Minecraft

look cats and dogs are nice but I think Minecraft would do with some more pets so here's some that should be added like the bearded dragon oh boy okay so you can tame them using the dandelion flower in game but more importantly you can typically find them crawling around desert biomes oh where you going I need you for my showcase these bearded dragons have a very unique power they will actually scare as well as attack any nearby husks look as the husks sweat as they get close to the bearded dragons that's because bearded dragons have a little bit of an appetite you could say for any Rotting Flesh that happens to walk around which in this case are the husks so not only will they keep you safe but they'll keep any nearby husks at Bay as well the bearded dragon will keep husks at a five block radius assuming they are anywhere nearby you now your bearded dragon can take some serious hits and in the event it ends up getting attacked too much by the husks it has a chance at dropping but you can see right here it's lizard tail once it's been struck three times Times by any nearby bad guys it will in fact drop its tail let me get a little more punch so you can see oh see you can actually wall up on it a little bit yourself in order to get the lizard tail where's my dragon I'm getting attacked eating the lizard tail will actually cause you to restore some of your health so if I were to give myself some fall damage here you can see eating this guy up and instant re-healing of your health bar now normally I wouldn't condone eating parts of your pet but in this case it's Minecraft so if no one ask any questions come back I'm hungry this is because bearded dragons similar to geckos actually have the ability to regrow their tail so assuming they don't die you can eat this to get a nice free pick-me-up our next pet is also found in the desert it is a snake mob every so often when roaming the desert you'll find large pockets of dead bushes and if you happen to cross these there is a one in three chance that a snake can be found inside by breaking them all right let's give it a shot ah Snake Here I Come nothing a lot of sticks though sure why not okay take two any luck oh hey we got one hello but it's not over yet we still need to tame it which to do that requires some rabbit meat hey come on over I need your help no come back all right the snake has been tamed now the snake can do some cool things other than dance first and foremost it can actually attack nearby mobs more importantly to that though it will also poison any of the mobs that happen to be nearby that's right it has a passive poison effect so whether the snake is directly attacking the Pillager or not it doesn't matter they'll still all get hit with some incredibly damaging poison nice a very good Ally to have with you although I'm still like in risk of death so that's uh not as good could you help me out a little bit faster please that should be the last of them nice job buddy and on top of that this snake acts similarly to a parrot where if you right click the snake you'll actually be able to have it ride on your shoulder look at you and depending on what arm you hold your snake and you can actually cause it to swap shoulders when it's riding with you how come you guys can't do that here's another pep mob that should be added a chinchilla look at you adorable chinchillas can also be found roaming the desert Landscapes they can be tamed by feeding them sweet berries and come with an extraordinarily unique mechanic in that if you happen to sleep with a chinchilla nearby you'll get some remarkably unique powers when you wake up check this out regen 3 and strength 3 boost that's because it's got the softest fur in the world and sleeping while cuddling up next to one will give you some serious Buffs hey I'm on Cameo book me today for a custom video message what's more if there's any Hostile Mobs nearby it will summon in sand particles around it kicking up dust that will cause the husks to get hit with a type of confusion notice the husks leave us completely alone despite it being the dead of the night it's because they don't want to deal with this little fur ball nearby sorry guys see my new best friend have plans and what with our strength boost it should be no problem handling them despite them not doing anything to attempt to attack us now if you get too far from the chinchilla it may end up targeting you after all but you've got a pretty decent range where this chinchilla will kick up dust and cause your scent to be obscured from any nearby enemies good job buddy now there's more pets but it's time for a new location alright our next pet here is hidden in plain sight no literally we're in the plains for the next pet it is a tameable iron golem and you've noticed it's been adorned with a few new textures on it that's because you can now tame iron golems by giving it all sorts of different flowers namely blue orchids alliums orange tulips poppies and dandelions giving them all to an iron golem will tame it and give it a fresh new coat of paint on top of that it gives you a fresh new coat of strength strength tend to be exact so any nearby mobs will not only be to attacks from this iron golem it but you'll be able to take them out in quick order as well look at this they don't even stand a chance whether it's the Golem or me this strength boost is incredibly strong nice shot now of course on top of that you could summon in an iron golem if you don't want to find one in the planes by making one with four iron blocks and of course a pumpkin though you'll still need to tame it as you can see it doesn't have its flowers however when you do it will have all of its flowers now hey check this out not only do it have flowers all over its body but you may have noticed something pretty cool it will also plant flowers as it walks around so I'm gonna place a bunch of husks down and if you've got enough of them handy you'll actually start to see them planting flowers all over the place ah the corn is juxtaposed against the beauty of the flowers does anybody know what juxtapose means in the event your iron golem ends up dying which is easy for you to do because you've got strength 10 it has a new drop as well the Wither Rose and for those that don't know planting wither roses all over will actually cause any day all right you guys keep planting it's time for our next pet it's another one that should be added it's the rooster hold on I'm trying to get you on camera man you look so beautiful oh wow I'm not shy for the camera at all yeah speak your lines roosters can be found wherever chickens are spawning in game so frequently in Planes but as well found across any other biomes where chickens can normally be found spawning there's a chance you get a rooster and if you didn't see before you can now more easily tell roosters are a little bit taller than your average chicken variant so not only does their feathers make them stand up but their size does as well in terms of how you tame them it's the same as with these other guys you just need a whole mess of seeds usually on average it will require more seeds than a chicken would typically use in order to tame it in this case we kind of got lucky oh I think something's going on I shouldn't be looking at now what happens if hostile mobs are nearby the rooster well as you can see it has no problem defending its nearby hens with attacks opting for an ultimate beak sharpening extravagant and uh it deals pretty decent damage not gonna lie they're generally pretty rare in nature so you shouldn't see any chicken overhauls anytime soon otherwise uh these pillagers have some serious stuff to be worrying about now in the event that your chicken takes damage and dies it has a new drop long feathers which can be used alongside sticks and Flint in order to get yourself a long feathered Arrow okay let's show you the difference in power I'm gonna go ahead and take out this husk with a regular bow and arrow and if we see one two three for this Huss to go down now let's instead opt to use some of these long feathered arrows when taking out that same exact husk check this out one two two hits fifty percent more damage or at least enough to cut the gap down by that much how about instead we try on this guy yes yes I know he's my pet but it's okay it's a video game all right I'm gonna count how many takes this takes what did I just say a grand total of 10 regular arrows to take out that Golem now instead we'll try with our long feathered arrows five it only five with this guy very powerful the shame roosters are kind of rare it's going to be difficult to stack up on too many of these arrows our next Pet's gonna give this poor fella a run for his money your days are numbered my friend I hate to break it to you it's the German Shepherd look at you buddy oh he's ready for some action oh finally okay so German Shepherds will spawn in from time to time in place of llamas alongside the wandering Trader so if you see a Wandering Trader there's a chance that there's a German Shepherd nearby just waiting for you to tame him look at you now as you might have guessed yes you can also tame German Shepherds from watering Traders by giving them bones in this case I've already tamed this fella so we don't need any more but he's got some cool features as well first and foremost German Shepherds have more Health on average compared to a regular pet dog wolf in game more importantly they can one hit skeletons yes that's right keep this guy near you whenever you're inside of the Nether and happening across those scary Soul Sand areas where all those skeletons spawn in he's gonna be the ultimate Man's Best Friend leave an attack with his tail from time to time apparently but what's more even wither skeletons should pale in comparison when it comes to how challenging they are because these guys can take them out in two hits but it gets even better there's a new item known as a dog treat you can craft it with raw beef and Bones combined together and if you have enough of them you can feed them to your German Shepherd to give it a serious power boost now when it moves around it has incredible speed and strength which means these wither skeletons while his Powers Act if he will go ahead and take this guy out in one hit flat incredible they don't even stand a chance yo he's just jolting around he's got the Zoomies okay you two play nice all right worth noting German Shepherd dog treats will not work on the regular wolf so if you want to make these you're gonna need to get yourself a Shepherd okay this next one's a little off the wall but imagine a creeper that you could tame by giving it gunpowder make it neutral so that it wouldn't blow up and then giving it another one would give you a pet creeper look at this guy okay so check this out with your baby pet Creeper nearby all other nearby creepers will no longer blow up so now you've got some serious creeper protection wherever you are as long as this I mean you could lose this guy in a heartbeat but that's okay because you can actually grow them this is freaking me out to be way bigger by giving it even more gunpowder you can keep going bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger I mean this is just this is this is just a little absurd if I'm being honest okay how about if we use a flint and steel on these neutralized creepers get them a little bit closer still blow up look at that nice and immune you could even try using it on your pet creeper and as you can see here no explosion occurred if you did get him this big you don't have much option to make him smaller outside of them maybe causing some damage to the poor sucker doing that will cause all these other creepers to be explodable but hey you are given resistance with that pet Creeper nearby which I'd recommend you hold on to and hey as it turns out once a creeper's been neutralized by having the pet one around it will no longer blow up okay this next Pet's a little bit more believable this should be in game it's the ferret which is capable of digging up random items whenever it happens to be around you anything buried in the grounds got a good shot at being found by this guy and look oh it found a chicken ferrets will attack any nearby chickens they find the chickens to be delectable hey I don't blame you to be honest but don't leave them for too far otherwise there's a chance that it takes out your entire flock and it's taking me up flowers as well why don't we get a few things dug up at the same time wow we we're getting all sorts of goodies hold on I want to clear out in the area okay let's see what we're working with here get a whole bunch of these going all at the same time we've got music discs flowers clay pottery shirts ah the whole story on top of that just cuteness overload these guys too Can Be Tamed using sweet berries but in this case we have some spawn eggs that come with them pre-tamed uh that way we can get going right away well big donate a lot of chickens here's an update to an existing mob to make it a pet slimes you'll happen to cross these from time to time but if you use some dye on the Slime they'll now change color and will become tamed and be a pet of your very own and on top of that they give off some pretty awesome powers as well when you're near a blue slime you'll be hit with constant water breathing now thankfully there's a river over here but you know how water breathing works you may decide to also dye a slime instead with some yellow dye and that will give you night vision so that you can see in the dark Darkness a thing of beauty and I assume it drops some form of Mountain Dew upon death but we're not going to explore that giving an orange dye will give you fire resistance so if you happen to be standing in fire you'll be just fine this guy on the other hand now he seems to be holding out well as well these slimes are quite frail in nature only having half a heart of health so it might be a pain to keep alive but if you can they're gonna be remarkably useful in keeping you nice and powered up on death they'll drop the dyes that you use to dive our next pet here is a dragon egg related pet namely we can get ourselves a baby dragon if you feed chorus fruit to the dragon egg in your Minecraft world after having collected one it has a chance and this time 100 chance to spawn in as a baby oh boy dragon and he's a little bit upset well I should have introduced him a little bit more nicely be careful with this pet as you can see it can deal some pretty nasty damage but not only to me to any mobs nearby as well knocking them clear from one side of the world thrilled to the other and if you're fortunate enough to sneak and right click while being near the dragon pet it will actually get you a quick teleport to the end very good hey sorry about kidnapping your child there it's uh it's nothing personal
