10 Most UNDERRATED 4WDs that are way cheaper than they should be!

I want to talk about a diesel wagon that you're going to get for under ten thousand dollars do you remember when the pajeros the shortwell-based patches used to dominate the Dhaka every bajira owner reminds you of that every time they see you yeah petrol four-wheel drives mate are not the devil people think they are they are absolutely superb the one problem he's going to have with that vehicle mate is the windscreen wiper is going to get stuck on the amount of bras they don't get thrown at him as he drives down the street well folks it's our time again I'm down in the shed with something cold I'm gonna crack that something gold have a sip and welcome you to another beers in the shed growing me there mate mate I'm just gonna listen to this for a second Oh it sounded cold it is cold mate can I just paint a quick picture for you yeah go on mate South Australia southern end of the Flinders ranges a little tiny Town one Horse Town literally the horse just rode in just a minute ago stand around again you meet Adelaide no no no no no Natalie's got two horses now mate no no no this is a little town called Cradock uh yeah we've got camp set up on the side of a uh one of those beautiful uh sort of Outback rivers with the uh salmon gums poking up and over to my right is an old historic pub with four kinds of beer on tap cold and waiting for me mate and then it's probably got one of those beers would be like a West End or something right it's it's a West End mate it's exactly right it's a western I knew it you're in South Isles mate right in the guts of it and the other the other three are Coopers so I think I'm in good company today mate we've got a cracking bees in the shed to get through today we're very excited by this one because I know I can probably speak for you as well mate our inboxes get absolutely filled with people asking advice on especially What four-wheel drive can I get on a budget what can I get as a first four-wheel drive we're gonna go through a stack of different underrated four-wheel drives because in my opinion there's so many out there that are very popular of course we all know those ones but what about the ones that never get the praise the ones that maybe are worth looking at to you know get your dollar to go a little bit further in the second hand market and the market has changed a little bit since we've talked about covert prices and covert Taps going through the roof prices have come down a little bit at the moment they probably will continue to come down and as a result you're going to find some great bargains now of course we've done a little bit of homework and we bring a little bit of experience to the table we'll go through some of our key picks so if you're in the market for a used four-wheel drive this is the one you need to listen to because I'm going to show you how you can get the full drive of your dreams on a beer budget we also have a chance mate get this one to win a brand new 300 series with a things off mate the most underrated four-wheel drive now I'm going to Chuck a bit of a curveball into the mix mate and um say you're after you know a 200 but you can't quite afford it maybe you you're looking at one of those big 105 series Cruisers but there's too much vehicle maybe for you or you're looking for an FTE but it's too expensive check out The Prado is mate I'm going to talk about the ones yeah like the three liter 120 Prado uh look they're not super cheap but they're a great vehicle now I'd be tossing up between in that range The Prado or the Pajero so I'm talking about like I was gonna say yep yeah like I'd say maybe like the NX Pajero so 2016 if you look at both 2016 is a good sort of year model because they have sort of low-ish kilometers they're a newish sort of vehicle but you can pick them up between about 30 000 to about 40 45 000 and um they're both of course got the diesel the three liter in the in The Prado and the 3.2 in a pajam Arrow both fantastic Vehicles you've got to get the Pajero for a little bit cheaper than the Toyota of course and if you're able to see City driving a lot of beach work and a few dirt roads then the pajeros I think are a great great um proposition to buy mate do you remember when the pajeros the shortwell-based pages used to dominate the Dhaka back then it was called the Paris stacker they used to dominate the Decker every bajira owner reminds you of that every time they see you yeah yeah but yes they do they do a hold of that and I think the pajero's through the Rangers were all good vehicles made I've you know I've never heard about an unreliable Pajero so there you go go figure mate didn't you set one up for some friends of yours that come across from I don't know where they came from Europe or something and you set a padge up for next to nothing and they they drove around Australia in the bloody thing and then sold it yeah exactly right mate that's a lot of people don't know this story that I had some friends come over from overseas and they had a really tight budget of five thousand dollars to that's right and build a vehicle that could take them around Australia for for one year so what I did is we spent two and a half thousand dollars on a Pajero and then the rest of the money put into Mods we had a second-hand Rooftop tent I let them borrow our fridge we put a second battery in it it was very basic but those guys turned key for under five thousand dollars and did a lap of Australia so yeah and they never had a driver I expected I said oh look Anything could happen here remote or a gearbox but you know Pajero is actually quite a reliable vehicle they just drove it speaking of reliable mate let's let's get right into the Realms of never touch them again buy once buy right don't even worry about it Leaf sprung gu patrols mate now before you say anything what's our camera car mate it's exactly that and uh that's exactly perplexed about it the fact that we choose it yeah underrated 100 one of the main reasons we went for that vehicle mate was because of the ability to give it a massive GBM upgrade uh that's something that's not looked at as much as it should be these days and that is keeping your car legal making sure you can tow what you're wanting to tow making sure you can keep in the car what you want to keep in the car without being over GBM and those vehicles are well they used to be cheaper to buy people are sort of cottoning onto that these days and you know you're starting to find that they are commanding a bit of a price but you're still picking them up reasonably cheap mate you can get X fleet cars fleet cars are good why are they good because they have to be maintained they have to have a record of service history so fleet cars are not as bad as you might think try and get one with lower kilometers on it and they have to have been serviced regularly in order to keep them going and maybe the mine Vehicles maybe not so much because they can cop a lot of iron or a lot of um rust underneath I guess it depends where they come from too have a look at the ones that haven't been used in the mine but would rather used to Ferry people back and forth you can get those that can they can sometimes work quite well for you and another thing too mate is don't be afraid of the old the old hand grenade the old zd30s the newer ones the later model common yeah that great engine great engine well this is the later model I think when you're looking at a patrol you straight away you discount the zd30 because you hear nothing about your stories so you go straight to a td42 and so is everyone therefore the prices through the roof so yeah it's all about the zd30 is an underrated engine mate my the thing the whole thing about it is they they are so good on fuel and that's what most people don't realize about these zd30s the later ones of course are so good on fuel another thing I really like about them and and I've run into this problem with my uh my G60 with the zd30 they're cheaper to keep in Regio because some states base their Rego on the number of cylinders so what's my G60 worth mate let me be let me be pretty honest with you she ain't worth much mate I reckon I forgot if I got 1500 bucks for a next week I'll be I'll be laughing but the Rego for that cost me twelve hundred dollars a year more than the damn car's worth because so because the six cylinder exactly mate exactly mate exactly exactly makes sense it does now also those those zds they are very responsive to a return or a flash tune they love that they can really give them a kick in the guts and make them go of course older vehicle they've been on the shelf for a long time so there's so many bits and pieces for them you can mod them up really well and because people are scared of them like you can pick one of those up for you can pick them up for just about nothing you can you can people almost when you go look at a zd30 they almost apologize sorry it's not the 4.2 no no then let's let's face it it's it's been recorded on the internet so many times the little upgrades and mods you can do to keep those things absolutely reliable with pyro gauges making sure that the Boost is not over boots exactly and you can find out how to keep those things from detonating mate and um I think that you're right I think that is a very underrated four-wheel drive to be honest now I said some of the ones you're not probably expecting but I'm going to start with Land Cruisers because a lot of you guys look a lot of you guys do nothing changes not many of them are underrated most of them are pretty rated and um as a result they do come in high prices now this is true I'm gonna go for I'm going to go for four uh five six six times the Land Cruiser that you should probably look out for I'm gonna start things so basically everyone everybody especially these 80s behind me no what I'm gonna the first one is an fz80 so it's the 4.5 petrol 80 series now the price of those are definitely coming down and I'm also going to Chuck in the 105 the FZ 105 so the petrol six cylinder with the same motor a little bit more modern 105 series those Vehicles still I think represent fantastic value of money in particular the 105 series because they're a little bit newer um they okay they're going to use a little bit of fuel because they are a petrol but they are absolutely bulletproof those things and the price that you can get those for they're starting to come down a little bit in price because people are starting to feel the squeeze at the fuel pump they're also feeling um interest rates come up so these petrol four wheel drives are you know known as gas guzzlers they're going to get cheaper and cheaper in the next coming months so they're ones to look out for um I'm also going to add in the 105 series The 1hz because it's sort of the ugly duckling when it comes to Land Cruiser diesels everybody wants the FTE or they want the big one HDT or the Ft motor the one HZ you know it's legendary for a reason very reliable and they came in many many vehicles so you can actually find a good one HZ 105 especially if you get the old GX model the one with the barn doors you can find those at an absolute steel Sometimes the best is trying to find one on the side of the road with a little bit of cardboard in the window one that's not up on Marketplace or Facebook they're the ones to look out for the old bloke that's had that thing from brand new and he's uh yep he's selling it because he's got a brand new 200 or 300 or something like that right well I'm I'm going to come straight in and go a bit old school I used to own one way back in the day it was a short wheelbase tb42 so the TD of course is the diesel the one everyone one wants but the old old model GQ patrols with the TB 4.2s in them mate there's nothing wrong with them there's nothing wrong with them they're old school so yeah they do drink a little bit but your service intervals they're doubled you're not going 5000 k's now you're going every 10 you're not putting two oil filters in you put one yeah they're much cheaper so much cheaper than the td42s because everyone wants the td42 no one wants a tb42 the engine is bulletproof they'll do a million K's they're hard to kill and in my mind the money you're saving buying that vehicle versus buying the exact exact same vehicle with a tb42 td42 in it you're going to buy a heck of a lot of fuel my friend I'd probably I'd probably go and look at the EFI ones over the Carby ones if you had a choice yeah the car especially if you live where you're gonna do water crossings they don't like that at all yeah and we had a few dramas that Daryl look let's not be mistaken that thing goes everywhere but it has been a little bit unreliable I think the EFI ones if you can get an EFI TV I think yeah absolutely laughing I know you are mate he I think he'd marry one if he could I really I really think he would now I'm going to go into the Ute category here I'm going to say one thing that Hilux is as good as they are look I'd probably own one tomorrow they are a little overrated sorry Joko they are overrated so popular that the prices do go through the roof so through the roof yep for the Hilux be like crikeys are expensive you and everyone else I'm going to give you a list of a couple of other vehicles to look at now um the first one I'm going to go with is a 2010 bt50 so that's the old 2.2 liter um the last of the first generation bt50s I think they were a fantastic vehicle um again with all of these vehicles I'm about to mention yes there's going to be um every single vehicle's got its little little list of issues I suppose but you can find out about those and uh you can you can um get on top of those pretty quickly but you can still get a bargain so I reckon the the the last of the 2.2s were worth looking at and probably the early three 3.2 so the second gen they were um nearly double the horsepower they were what year are we talking about sorry um I'm talking about I think they're about the 2011 to 2015. that's the five cylinder 3.2 that was an absolute Ripper of an engine it was super fast and super efficient I remember test driving those when they first came out and um they were they were great I've never had heard too many bad things about those they're very reliable Vehicles was that the one you test drove through the Simpson desert yeah yeah I drove one of those two of them we put there you go 60 000 K's in a year or something on that on that vehicle and everyone from like the cameraman to the grunt in the office I am me around it was like the company car and if we couldn't break it I'll tell you what they it won my heart that vehicle and um that says a lot doesn't it it really does it was just super reliable super reliable uh I also would say the RC Colorado so I'm talking about Colorado they are collie yep yeah the old Collies make 2008 to 2000 2011 of course they came with that three liter 4jj one the same one that was in the Isuzu D-Max yep exactly right there they're tough and um I think I think they're great I will say one thing just going back to the bt50 now the earlier ones I did suggest those now they are as ugly as Sin and someone out there owns that and they said right enjoy mate mate they are but take take the front bumper off put a bull bar a couple of spotties on the front and holy heck you've got a good rig you're gonna you're gonna pick one of those up anywhere between about seven thousand dollars and about 13 Grand now foreign that is an absolute bargain and it's only um well let's face it what is that about what 13 years old it's not even that old really not even old no no so that's I think that's an absolute bargain speaking about ugly ducklings don't forget the truck the the old tries the ugliest of the choices um remember stew dogs Triton yeah that's the one that's the one we're talking about yeah what year was that 2012-ish around that sort of era um you know you can you can pick those up for probably around the same price around that seven to twenty thousand um dollars you know for for a dual cab you're going to be spending more for a single cab or an extra cab you're going to be spending less now they were ugly as Sin but again if you do a couple of mods to them they're still gonna be ugly with a few mods but guess what you've got a reliable fuel efficient turbo diesel uh Ute and if you wanted the same you're spending ten thousand dollars more couldn't agree more but to all uh Trident owners out there um just DM me and I'll give you Sean's number you can get in touch with him and I just have a bit of a chat about the front end of those tritons all right on the topic at the end of the day I suppose it is there's people there's people that have fallen in love with me in the paste yes I'm concerned about that tonight might have to lock my Caravan door on the topic of Utes mate what do you reckon okay I'm gonna go I'm gonna go to I've got a couple more to share mate um they're not going to surprise you too much because they're they're not straying too far from my garage to be fair but one car well I think even you'd like to own just because of the fact that well I'm gonna go straight out there and say it the old tb48 the big 4.8 liter Patrol yeah do you remember do you remember that chip we did back in the day to Tasmania where one of the guys had that off tap TV yeah yeah and he would just Jake he would just limit A bash it all the way everywhere he went was unlimiter that thing it could not die at 100 it could not die could not die now have a think about how much we Chase in the older model diesels to try and get almost half the power that a TB would have yeah so much money we put into these older models to try and get half the man of power with these old petrol engines dropping back a gear rev the guts at them they'll go up any Hill they'll tow anything you can pick them up for next to nothing because of course everyone's so scared yet again of owning a big cylinder petrol engine yet those things are just crazy it's true mate it's true I've I've actually got a mate who's been towing a boat with one recently he rang me he's about to put his in the market for thirteen thousand dollars and uh yeah right there you go yeah that's a 4.8 Patrol I reckon that's an absolute bargain if you could get it between that ten and fifteen thousand dollars that's let's face it they're they're a GU so they're nice and new they've got all the mod columns yeah plus they got all the power you can tell you can do anything with them yeah I mean and they've got the running gear that can handle it too well if you wanted the equivalent 4.2 diesel what are you spending mate between what 20. yeah 20 or 30. for the same for the exact same shell body running gear Etc et cetera it's just a different engine and then you're talking almost twice as much yeah you're gonna add another five six yeah and then all of a sudden and the fuel prices you're probably going to be saving five liters to the hundred when you're when you're towing yeah and uh and everywhere you go you're gonna be keeping an eye on your egts you'll be looking at your engine temps if you've got that 4.2 the 4.8 black out your dials you don't need them they don't don't even worry about that and at the end of the day the difference in price between the petrol and the diesel and you're thinking oh but I'll save money getting the diesel it's probably going to take you about 20 years of Motoring to actually realize the servicing and extra fuel you're going to be paying yeah petrol four-wheel drives mate are not the devil people think they are they are set absolutely it it bugs me to agree with you but I'll probably I will agree with you I think I think they are super underrated and and from a from a reliability point of view time to go past them mate it really is and you really could you literally like the servicing costs we talk about servicing uh you know you mentioned before every 10 000 for a petrol instead of every five thousand uh there's a heap of things that make it cheaper but then when you start getting the things like obviously diesels have injectors and fuel pumps which are a huge dollar ticket items so all the fuel system on a diesel you know if you have to replace that you're up for ten plus thousand dollars the equivalent parts to make a petrol go we're talking about spark plugs we're talking about a coil we're talking about a 100 fuel pump we're under 400 for the whole lot of the fuel system yeah exactly the equivalent diesel would be ten thousand so yeah the price difference at the end of the day the cost of ownership over 10 years you're not going to realize any savings by getting a diesel yeah along that topic one of the big things we get with that with petrols of course is we're always being asked here but you can't get petrol everywhere petrol runs everything in the outback it runs lawn mowers it runs chainsaws it runs generators it runs just about everything so if you come to a service station you're gonna get petrol you are you're not going to not get petrol what's going to happen though is you're going to get a lower octane rate of petrol and for some of the modern vehicles like mine for example that can be a bit of a problem but my vehicle is designed to read the petrol sense it lower its map it'll knock a little bit for a while and then it'll just drop down a couple of uh of um power ratings and Away you go so 91 doesn't bother my vehicle you just got to not run it like a racehorse with the older petrol engines all you've got to do is carry a bit of octane booster with you Chuck it in Chuck 91 in and it'll run it all day long I can even run mine we're heading up right through the central desert um the next few weeks mate and I'm gonna have to run my series five on opal now there'll be Series 5 viewers out there right now that'll be turning over in their seat going what the heck are you thinking iPlay course is just 91 without the uh without the smell added to it yeah yeah um this old girl behind me here sure run it no problem at all she'll just remap her engine she'll drop down in fuel in power sorry and I'll use a little bit more fuel but it'll run 91 everywhere you go so there's no problems with donating a petrol engine yeah and of course what Petri you Chuck in them as long as they've got something oh you could chuck you could chuck just about anything in them you have gas they'll go they'll do anything they don't mind it they love it all now I'm going to do a bit of a 1 80 we're talking about some modern vehicles here and we've covered off Utes I want to talk about a diesel wagon that you're going to get for under ten thousand dollars and you're probably thinking you're thinking hang on yeah how many of these have you had shall I will you know not enough I'm going to start talking about a discovery one so the old Land Rover Discovery again something we don't talk about the Brisbane show yeah exactly right Jordan gave me Jordan is in our team of course he has had all Land Rovers that exist he's a huge fan and um so we had a bit of a Land Rover discussion and he assures me that this is and I agree with that would have been nerdy old yeah with the old three liter um turbo diesel intercooled engine the TDI um that's a basic old mechanical diesel they're very reliable not that much can go wrong with them and the price you can pick up one of those I think it's not so much well Jordan's he does use it a lot and of course if you keep the maintenance up which I'm not sure if Jordan does um you can have some trouble free motoring and um I said you can look I'm not gonna I'm not gonna lock lock in on that but not saying you will just saying you can this look they're coil sprung it's a it's a solid axle vehicle a lot of chassis they're they're a tough vehicle you put some 33s on those things and um they will drive some insane stuff um reliability yes you're going to get that but if you get it well maintained you're going to have some trouble the other good thing about them the other good thing about them mate is if you're not a mechanic you own one of these for five years you'll come out with an apprenticeship you're good to go you can work in any mechanical work anywhere any app in Australia you'll get a job and and that that probably puts a lot of people off the old discos but because I'm talking about the series one they actually are not that hard to work on um compared to some like the Disco threes and Etc and they start getting a bit more technology amongst them uh these ones are just just like a simple old Landcruiser really so that yeah and you're going to get them under ten thousand dollars and heck I've seen them way under ten thousand dollars you can almost which when you think about it it's an interesting age that's that's a steal if that lasts you for three years of traveling I mean you're doing all right and you could you could fly it off I mean they're all aluminum panels I don't know what the scrap go from Jayden um petrol for gym you've said it before yeah I gotta say absolutely agree you still have the older ones as well and 97 NL there he picked this up for 400 that's a sale you literally started you got on the road registered for 1500 bucks it's a V6 petrol of course it's got nearly house but guess what hey guess what it it just does everything and um he's done heifer tracks mate including the old Telly up in Cape York and and heaps of different camping trips yeah he said it's brilliant on the road he averages about 17 liters all day every day which is not that not that bad and um yeah so you know 25 year old V6 power plant in the big Pajero just does the trick mate even a half a million cars you brought that one up mate it's taking your list as well I think you know you've nailed it he's nailed it folks jump on jump on the marketplace totally agree for him now look I've got um I've got one here from Alex mate now Alex has got to just empty every pocket which uh otherwise known as a Jeep uh a Jeep Cherokee XJ mate he this he's obviously I reckon he's a bit of a Jeep not this fellow because he knows he knows all about him yeah he's got solid axles coils around three engine option all of them excellent petrol V6 petrol V8 and a five cylinder turbo diesel you can get all of them absolutely Dirt Cheap I'm not going to go into too much more here mate but what we're getting down to is you can pick these things up for Nixon nothing they've got everything done to them they're so super capable as you and I both know and as I might add just as a little little Easter egg just a little thing for the folks at home just to wonder about what I'm about to say next how capable are they well Shawna you are about to find out very soon how capable they are because I'm going to out drive you I know and uh my dream vehicle as a kid wasn't a big Land Cruiser 80 series what was it for a 75 was it Patrol it wasn't some Patrol okay it was a TJ room sick I I've always loved shapes yeah they were they were like the coolest of the cool vehicles back in the day take the top off cruise down the beach with all your mates obviously a heap of chicks in there as well but um that never eventually I've got a Suzuki Sierra and uh didn't happen it's a little smaller it's like the poor man CJ anyway that's all I can afford but I've got to agree the xjs are a very own vehicle at the price you pick those things up um they're similar to an ID series there today coil sprung live axle rig super capable and um at the price you can get them for you get about 25 of these xjs for the price but over here's another one from Ashley um the 90 series Prado now I I talked about the 120 but the 90 of course is the earlier Model A little bit cheaper again that is a very underrated vehicle um and and look Ashley's going to places where it probably shouldn't go so you can see from the photo there uh wherever you dare to point it the old 90 will travel apparently so um yeah got it bogged had a stack of fun in it that's what that's what it's all about mate you know cheap good honest one it really is it just does it all and even though it's got 400 000 K's on it you know it still works exactly it's a it's a reliable exactly we've got one here from Latrell who's there you pronounce the name Latrell that's a good strong name if it is the trail the mighty TF Rodeo go the rabbits I don't know what you're talking I have no idea what that means uh look up indestructible in the dictionary there's a picture of one of these bad boys now I might just say Latrell I'm not sure what you've bolted to the front of that Rodeo but he's run into a gate yep that's physics that's science right there you hit him hard enough they'll stick uh yeah you you must live somewhere there's a lot of things you hit on the side of the road uh but I agree classic classic old four-wheel drive Trail oh actually this this will surprise you as well I haven't told this one to just about anyone publicly but I have owned an old Rodeo as well it was one of the two-wheel drive versions I know everything about you yep yeah I I had it was actually my wife's car and we had this old Rodeo we picked up for fifteen hundred dollars and we sold it for 1500 about four years later it was a cool old car mate the only thing I did on that vehicle didn't even change your oil I just replaced the starter motor once because it wouldn't start and uh trouble-free motoring mate that thing was was actually really good yeah you'll agree with this one I won't even need to sell this to you beanie says the one fzfe 105 series Land Cruiser go forever yeah Forge bottom in only one second slot hang on only one second slower than 100 series V8 over the quarter mile what okay let's I'm gonna have to take I've never seen that episode of Fast and Furious how many gears did he have to go through to hit the nitrous button Vin Diesel's in the old 100 series no I didn't why is he so Furious anyway 15 to 25 15 to 20K for a good one compared to 35 to 50 for a diesel FTE ifs yeah I agree I agree and the 105s I actually like the shape of the 105s too which I go off quite a bit I like yeah as one of the only Land Cruisers I don't own mate I do have a soft spot for one I could see one of those in my future here's one from Lyle now check this one out oh this is Lyle I'm I'm going to agree with you here this is going to surprise you a 2008 Kia Sorento I'm not being I'm not I don't know I just don't know about this one okay this one I'm gonna talk I'm gonna talk another dirty secret do you remember probably about 15 years ago I took one of these brand new from the Kia showroom across the Simpson desert was was this the one where you raced it on the way back or was that the BT yeah you don't go into all stories but yeah I drove that thing right across the The Simpsons um we had two of them in fact we had the petrol and the diesel and I'm gonna say they are a fantastic underrated forward and that's going to surprise the heck out what about clearance but um no problems uh that's where we struggled a bit on the sand dunes when we come over the lips of the sand dunes the clearance wasn't fantastic we carried ourselves an exhaust Jack with us and uh that got us out of heaps of strife but um it was old school mate we're going back a while we're going back a while but Kia Sorrento mate and okay cool yeah yeah it did it it did it and we had to carry a lot of fuel um in in um Jerry cans and all the rest of it speaking of which but they've got a redesigned um Mitsubishi engine in them so you know I think you know especially the the big petrol one there it goes It goes a cult following in the U.S the only thing that's what it says here yeah the only thing I'd say about the the old sorrentos is they probably weren't put together as well as some of the other vehicles so if one has been abused for a few years and not just done highway driving I wouldn't go and purchase something that has been flogged because it's gonna have weird noise in the dash and the thing's going to be very second hand but if you had one that just been on the road its whole life and you're looking for a cheap entry point in the four-wheel drive world I'm just going to throw it tell you what have a look if we're going to go here I'm going to leave I'm going to leave this I'm going to leave it here but I'm going to leave it with one last word if we're gonna if we're going to throw a Kia Sorrento in the mix that I'm going to throw a Terracon in the mix okay just yeah no I'm not even gonna be angry lot of attention to detail a little lighting and stuff like that I I I'd like to see a shot of it covered in mud because I don't know if it gets out that much because it's just way too it is it is clean either way it's a it's a beautiful gorgeous it's a beautiful board what about this one this is cool gorgeous this is only two years older than shorties this thing's only two years older than shorty and well a lot can happen in two years because I tell you what surely doesn't look that clean it's uh this is a 1990 GQ Patrol purchase stock when he was 17. been building it for eight years he's uh it's Teddy 42 chopped extra cab sitting on 37's Twin locked uh the one problem he's going to have with that vehicle mate is the windscreen wiper is going to get stuck on the amount of bras didn't get thrown at him as he drives down the street that is sick that's anyway we should move on before I try and buy it yeah this is on here mate um it's a it's so Defender Range Rover yeah it's a it's a mix it's a it's a Frankenstein mate that's what it is it's got the everything it looks like it's home built mate it's pretty cool in the UK yeah it's overseas now here's one mate I reckon you and uh Oh What a Feeling yeah and well you know mate they always say you should always drive the wheels off your vehicle yeah it's literally and gone forward by a couple of meters now where's this what's what what's going on here where do you reckon this is somewhere cold oh I'm gonna Eastern Europe somewhere I'm gonna go with that um that that is how the kids get to school right in um well they've got bigger kahunas than me my friend because I'd be leaving school if that was the case the scary thing is there is people in the back of this imagine you just oh yeah the driver's going through that water crossing and then it just I reckon starts floating down for those folk I reckon that'll just be a walk in the park mate just I hear this another day it was a bit higher than Newton straight through no big deal yeah hopefully yeah I know I know it's pretty wild right and that that bus has been in service since World War II already before actually before I reckon that's she's been friend because I tell you what the place has to be excited to think about it now whilst I was there you and the boys were in Coffs Harbor tackling some of the toughest tracks you've ever done so content whilst we're on the road at the moment is chocolate block mate exactly right you'll literally see one of the hardest tracks I've ever tried to attempt koala Trail in Coffs Harbor with Jesse and Jocko they're both absolutely unhinged and uh took up there got a little bit of paddle damage nothing too severe and we've got some epic ones coming forward as well mate Cape you off in the web you're continuing towing a caravan yeah he's a pretty remote let's just go on gangbusters it's absolutely going gangbuster so folks it's time to be alive the way I say it is if you've enjoyed the
