10 Magic Tricks You Can Do

and just like that Veronica is magically cutted what's the welcome back to how to match it I am your host of an era today I'm showing you 10 magic tricks that you can do so if you already hit that thumbs up button for me unless okay check this out I have a really cool trick to show you with these sunglasses so if we just take the glasses like this all right here's how it's done I'm about to reveal the secret to this trick is extremely simple and I'll teach you how it's done right now the first thing you're gonna need for this is a normal pair of sunglasses and then you're also going to need a tiny miniature pair that looks similar or identical to your large pair of sunglasses and then it's just some simple sleight of hand to make it look like they shrink so you're gonna start out by palming this one just concealing it in your hand just like that and then the normal pair of sunglasses is going to be sat on the table in front of you you have to be seated at a table to do this trick and then you're just going to bring your hands in front like this to provide cover as you slide them back looking like you're picking them up but you're actually just pitching them back into your lap and it looks like you're picking them up and at this point you've just got the little pair in your hand so you just act like you smush it down and you squeeze the sunglasses into a tiny little shrunken [Music] [Music] so all you need to pull this one off are two identical metal spoons they're normal spoons you can get these from home and then this is the only other thing you need is a little button magnet so all you have to do before the trick starts is you're gonna stick the little magnet in back of the spoon just like that so from the front side it's totally hidden now you can hold the spoon anywhere and have them touch the other spoon to the bottom and it will magically stick in place because the magnetism of the magnet actually travels through the metal of the spoon and magnetizes the medal of the first spoon so that the second spoon will magically stick then you can add a little panache by spinning it's a nice little flourish move with the spoon and then to make it fall off into their hand at the end just give it a little jerk with your hand and then will fall off on cue try it out at home and fool your friends and family okay be a fun pick a card any card trick here so just to the camera and loose it back into the deck anywhere you want let's go right back there like that I had no way of knowing what card you picked right right now you have the card lock in your mind you remember the card to correct yeah okay so I have a little prediction envelope that's been here on the table the entire time now inside I believe I have your card check this out is your card that does say watch I think it when we just wave it like this watch it actually changed yeah so here's what you're gonna need to set this up you're gonna need a little envelope like this and you're going to need a flap car these are specially made cards and they do all the work for you one side looks like this it's just a blank card and on this side we're gonna write your car then if you let it flap over so what's making this work is these little pieces of elastic right there sewn through the card just like that as you stretch the elastic over like this creates tension on that flap and when you let go of it it just flaps back into place and hides the other card inside this fold so these are made in a lot of different configurations but for this one we're using the blank and the eight of Spades and we're just gonna write your card right here pull it out it'll say your card and then you actually change it into their card once you have the flap card loaded inside your next step is just force a card on your spectator lose it back into the deck then call attention to your prediction envelope that's been on the table the whole time tell them that their card is inside and reach inside pull out the card that says your card then once you've got a good laugh from the audience you magically change it into their real car okay check this out I'm going to remove a toothpick from the box okay watch the toothpicks we just give it a shake to go magically turn into a batch [Music] your first step is to get some long wooden stick matches like this and it's best to get the ones would be red tip red or green so that it really looks like a match your next step is to take the end of the match and just Whittle it down to a point so that it looks like a toothpick now as you can see once you've whittled down the tip of the match it really does look like a wooden toothpick and then you can make it extra convincing by removing it from a box of toothpicks then hold the match at your fingertips while concealing the tip and you're just gonna wave back and forth as you flip a match around just like this to expose the match head then once you've changed it from a toothpick to a match you can immediately pull a match box out of your pocket to strike the match and show that it's real okay if you've ever seen how to cut a woman in half this is a DIY version that you can do at home so we've got Veronica in the Box I've got a piece of cardboard here and we're going to attempt this classic illusion so won't you take my piece of cardboard and cut through the box okay now watch and just like that Veronica is magically cutted baking for the Seaport coming up next the first thing you're going to need to set this up at home is a pool noodle it's one of these big foam noodles they use in the swimming pool during the summer and it take one of these and cut it in half your next step is to get a pair of pants and you're going to use the pool noodles to stuff the legs of the pants so it looks like someone's legs are actually inside your next step is to take a pair of shoes and tape it inside the pant legs just like this now once you have the shoes taped inside the pant legs it really creates a convincing illusion that you just have a pair of human legs here on the table and we're going to enhance that by adding the box around the outside so it hides the top of the pants now that you've just set up with the half of the box here and the top of the legs now the other half of this is creating the top half of the person now so to show you how to set up the top half of the person we're gonna remove this box and show you what position they would be in so this is a cutaway view this is without the boxes in the position that Veronica is in hiding her legs and it looks like just their top half is sticking out and this is her bottom half and just like that Veronica is magically cut in half okay check this out we have a plastic bottle cap and we also have a red plastic cup so I'm going to take the bottle cap normal bottle tab just drop it in the cup just like that and I'm going to take it in my hand and just squeeze just like just going to set the cup down on the table watch it just magically disappears just like that now I know you're thinking there must be underneath the cup it's actually not so if we take the cup just sit it down on the table watch we can actually make it reappear [Music] we will here take the bottle cap set-asides [Music] okay pulling this one off at home is as simple as four basic things you need the plastic cup you need some double-sided tape you need a little sponge ball you can also use something like an orange or a lemon or an apple and you need a bottle cap a little plastic bottle cap now the only preparation before this starts is to take some of the double-sided tape and stick it in the bottom of the cup just like that now what this is going to do is allow you to drop the bottle cap in and it will stick to the double-sided tape so that when you flip it over the bottle cap just stays inside the cup that way when you do this flip move and act like you dump it into your hand you're actually not dumping it into your hand just making it look like you do so then you can set the cup down the bottle caps inside the whole time and then when you want to deploy the bottle cap and make it reappear you just tap the cup on the tape the tapping motion will jar the bottle cap loose and make it fall down from the tape now when they are reacting to the bottle cap reappearing you're going to bring the cup back and secretly load your magic sponge ball from beneath the table that you've been hiding in your lap so this is all about misdirection and timing and then you can magically reveal the sponge ball from underneath the cup it's a really cool magical moment that no one sees come check it out I have a little postcard here from my trip to New York City it's the Statue of Liberty so check this out we're going to try a scaled-down version of a classic illusion watch the Statue of Liberty if we just give it a wave they're actually just magically disappear just like that see it's totally gone the secret to this one is all found inside there's a little Statue of Liberty on an elastic pull a little cut in the post guard and we just slide it right up through this like that and you want to position it and then pinch it in place with your finger so now that you have this positioned in place on the postcard it totally looks like it's part of the landscape it looks like it's just one normal postcard and then all you have to do to make this disappear is let pressure off and it pops right down inside and because this is two-sided there's like a space in between it just hides in between there really nicely and it looks totally legit like this is just vanished from this picture it's so cool and the back looks totally normal as well stay tuned for the end of the video I'm giving this away to one just kind of looks dangerous so the idea is you put your finger through here and the blade of the chopper magically goes through your finger no I see a blade I can't bust me so it is an illusion there's no real danger involved this is not a real label it's a real metal blade but it never really even like touches your finger it just goes right around your finger just like this so we slow it down you can kind of see what's happening as it contacts the top of your finger the whole thing rotates and it's actually not sharp it's dull and it kind of folds into itself it shows another blade down here and then when you pull it up it just reverses that same process so it's super easy self working magic all you do is insert your finger push down and it looks like the blade magically passes your friends and family with this fun magic prank magic pen trick time so watch the pen you can see it looks normal yep watch my take on it actually just magically changes the secret of the magic pen to the necklace trick is actually all found in the pen so all you have to do is let go and it will snap back just like this and reveal the chain inside so it's a little thin roll of metal right here that we stretch out to create the body of the pen just like this and when you hold the end it becomes rich and because it's a roll it's hollow inside and we can feed the chain right down inside it and it hides it inside the body of the pen so you feed the necklace down inside a little cap on the end and both of the sides of the pen are magnetic that comes into play in just a second you didn't pinch this like that as you can see it this looks like a normal pen now and then all you do to make it change into a necklace conceal this side conceal this side let it snap back droops down it looks like the pen just magically changes into a necklace then when you put the necklace on the magnetic ends of the pen stick together and hide behind your back okay cool money trick here check out this bill make sure it is indeed seems to be normal nothing tricky about it okay I also have two paper clips separate paper clips a little blue paper clip check that up and a little pink paper clip do me a favor and check that out as well Deno low enough okay I'm gonna take our five dollar bill here I'm just going to fold it up I'm going to take the first paper clip the pink one and I'm just gonna clip it on the bill just like this okay now you hand me the blue paper clip perfect and it's gonna go on the bill on the opposite side just like that okay so you can see the blue ones there right and the pink one is there they're definitely separate from each other right yeah blue on this side pink on this side so check it out what are your handy Cistus perfecto mundo now watch if we take the bill looks like this and I pull the opposite signs we'll see something kind of crazy happening watch the paper clips magically linked together okay here is the explanation how to do this result so all you need is a bill you can do with any bill and then you also need a couple of paper clips any paper clips will work the secret to this one is all in the fold so you want to do a three fold just like this is actually two folds but it creates three sections so one fold here one fold here and it creates three little sections kind of looks like a Z or like a two the first paper clip is gonna go right here in between these two folds just like this and sink it down right there it goes in between and it's not coming out on that side and then on the opposite side I'm gonna put our other paper clip and we're also gonna put it in the middle of that fold the other ones gonna go on the opposite side also in the middle of that fold just like that this is what we start off with and then once you have it in this position is completely self working all you have to do is pull the opposite sides the two paper clips will be drawn together like this because of the paper unfolding and they will magically link in an instant additionally when they link they will pop off the bill how high up into the air so hopefully you can catch them when you're gonna have your spectator try to catch them and they just link in midair it's super cool you can then pass this out instantly they can pick it up or if they catch it they can instantly inspect it themselves and it's so easy that anybody can do it kids can
