what is going on everybody solid a holiday here back with a new tips and tricks video today we're going to be going over ten different tips and tricks that I believe will without a doubt help both new and old players alike and hopefully it's gonna improve your kimchi experience along the way if you do like the video do me a favor hit that like button it really does help me out and if you want to see more content like this please consider subscribing also a really quick side note my social media accounts are about as sad as my social life so if you want to follow me on Instagram and Twitter I would greatly appreciate it those links are gonna be down in the description so let's get on with the list starting off with our first tip number 10 if you are trying to train up some of your character skills you can equip certain gear that will negatively impact that skill to help you train it up a little bit faster this tip actually comes from a viewer that commented on the last video and their name is and I really hope that I don't butcher this horribly stab ah so what do I mean by equipping gear that negatively impacts your skill here is the example that Stu bought gave if you equip a guard 'less katana a large backpack in armored hood and armored rags it will negatively impact your defense skill by 23 so if you're sitting at 30 defense skill level it will take you down to 7 so why is this important and what does this mean the reason is because in kaanchi you develop skills a lot faster if you are fighting individuals that have a higher skill level than you the opposite is also true if you're fighting enemies that have a lower skill than you you train your skills a whole lot slower once you reach at higher levels it becomes a whole lot more difficult to level those skills up so if you equip all these pieces of gear and say you get into a fight with some dust bandits who normally have a melee attack and defense skill anywhere from level 5 to 30 it will allow you to level up those skills a whole lot faster you can do this with pretty much any skill that has gear that will negatively impact it once a level up your martial arts skill equip some horrible gear from martial arts and you will do it a whole lot faster our second tip that we have tip number 9 is say you get into a fight with a bunch of dust bayonets or some enemies like that and they have a couple pieces of nice gear that you want to keep but your inventory is already filled to the max we all know that problem right we all know that struggle instead of throwing away some of your precious loot you found on your adventures as bad and as messed up as it is they just pick up one of the dead bodies and use that as a duffle bag can pick up a corpse and carry it around and continue to put loot in that corpses inventory to use as an extra backpack one of the things that you really need to be aware of is if you decide to use this tactic I would without a doubt make sure that individual you pick up is dead and not in a recovery coma the reason why is because if they are in a recovery coma and later on down the road you happen to get knocked out there's a possibility of them waking up and running off with all your awesome loot I would also be careful about loading your game sometimes kimchee it just messes up I've personally had instances when I load a previous save and in the individual I was carrying whether it was to turn in their bounty or if I was just trying to train up my characters strength was no longer on my back so just make sure you be careful so speaking of backpacks that's actually what tip number eight is about say for example you have an animal in your squad or just a character with a backpack on right if you put all of your food into that one backpack all the characters around that person will actually eat from that backpack so you don't have to fill up everybody's inventory with food this is extremely useful in the endgame whether you're going on a huge warpath or you're just out in the kimchi board first exploring some ruins right what I do is I will choose one character my squad to carry all the food in their backpack one of the important things to note is that if you put all of the food into one character's backpack you need to make sure that that character has his or her backpack on because otherwise this tip really does not work tip number seven did you know that the higher up your range characters are the more damage they will be able to do and they will actually be able to reach a longer range if you haven't already figured it out this tip is for your ranged characters whether they are on a mounted crossbow or they're just a regular crossbowmen they do more damage the higher they are so say you built a base and you're wondering where to put your mounted crossbows to help defend it place those mounted crossbows as high as they can go either up on a really tall building or make those walls as go as high as possible if you do this you will soon be defending your base with ease the same rules apply on the world if you can find a spot that's more elevated your range characters will be a little bit more precise and just do a tad bit more damage more precision also means they are less likely to shoot your own characters tip number six kind of goes along with the last tip right if you have a select group of characters continuously defending your base on mounted crossbows assign them the job of operating crossbows if you don't already know how all you have to do is shift click on the crossbow the reason why I say this is because if you select man turret instead of assigning the job then they will not go and get food if they need it and they will eventually pass out and starve so this tip kind of actually goes for every job make sure you assign it as a job otherwise they are likely to die from starvation numero Cinco so this tip is more of a recommendation than an actual tip but when you have built your base you're more than likely gonna start up a farm and try to grow some crops to make some food right I highly recommend only having one or two people continuously working on farming the reason why I say to do this is because the lower that you have your farming skill the higher likelihood that that character will fail at collecting the crop so you can have an extra large wheat field and it can be completely full of grown crops but if you have a character that has a very low skill try to collect those crops you'll probably only get about five or six when you could be getting twenty or more number four say you're about to get attacked right or you decide to attack a whole squad of people for no reason I mean we've all done it right you can just simply right-click on the enemies to attack but if you do this all the characters you have selected will attack that one person you clicked on to avoid this rather than tell each individual person to attack each member of the enemy squad individually what you can do is you can hold down right-click on one of the characters and the enemy squad and what you need to do is you need to select attack all targets what this will do is it will split up your squad and have each person start attacking a different target not really a huge tip but it's still a quality-of-life mechanic that it can really make it easier for you if you did not already know about it our third tip Perino so one of the main problems that I run across with having ranged characters is that they can sometimes be really hard to control unless you constantly keep an eye on them right one of the things that you can do to prevent this is that you can put those range characters on hold what this will do is it will keep them from moving and allow you to put them in a good position so in theory you could put your range characters up on top of a wall so that way they have a good vantage point of the fight and they won't leave that spot another problem that is common with the low level range characters is that they will shoot their allies squad members in the back this button will allow you to move your characters so they are less likely to do that such thing I use this button for all my range characters and it actually makes a huge difference our second to last tip that we have for the day in my opinion sneak is actually one of the easiest skills to level up in Kanchi why you may ask don't you have to sneak next to a bunch of enemies and risk getting caught and dying just to try to level it up the answer is actually no the way that sneak works in kimchi is if you are near someone and you have sneak enabled and they happen to see you it will actually start to increase your level it does this no matter if their friend or fro it doesn't matter if it's day or night so this means that you can level up your sneak in the safety of a town or a city in broad daylight and not have to worry about dying or getting your butt kicked if you get caught this might seem like a really cheap tactic right but it works really well because there are a lot more people close together in the city a lot more people that are going to see you then out in the real world are last but not least tip number one one of my favorite parts of kimchi is getting all of that awesome loot after a really hard fight right but one of my least favorite parts is trying to manage all that juicy in your squads inventories one of the ways that you can get around trading between each character and your squad over and over again you can have one care to collect all the loot then you can just click and drag the item that you want to trade from one character's inventory to the portrait of the character at the bottom that you want to trade it to as long as they are within range they and they have room in their inventory it will automatically trade the item between the characters this makes the whole process of trading between characters a lot of a lot easier and a lot faster if you guys want to check out my kimchi tips and tricks playlist it should be right there if you guys want to check out my horrible gameplay commentary if you don't want to I don't blame you but it'll be right there in that big middle button right there that's to subscribe so hey I hope you guys have a great day and I appreciate you guys alright have a good one
