the top 10 trifolds and i know trifolds have been largely ignored and they don't have quite as many reviews as we have for bifolds or other types of wallets that we have but just remember as i approach my reviews the most unbiased way i can i always try and present you the best we have now if i personally don't like a wallet it doesn't matter because i'll still give it that type of review for those who really want it and the reason why is there are hundreds hundreds probably thousands of wallets out there which means this will be going on forever and you'll have awesome content but really it matches up to the millions of people who find each of those wallets attractive so as mentioned today we're going to go through the top 10 trifolds now here are the 10 wallets themselves we will be reviewing today uh each of the reviews will be available in the notes but there are several that haven't had reviews published yet some of these are brand new so make sure you subscribe ring the bell so you're notified they'll be released over the next little while and we want to make sure you get those so if we look at each of these really quick by way of name this is the nivisto redfern tri-fold we have the pop-off leather trifold the done wallet here which we've done a review on we have the frenchy company speed wallet mini look how small this is compared to everybody else we've also got the flat leather three wallet a new one here the holy cow walter midi wallet along with the bell hide belt trifold the rx infiniti the slim pro snap wallet which we reviewed recently and the accenture trifold now as you can see from a map these come from all over the world which is fantastic to see not everything is made in the west or the united states or china for that matter so as we always do let's get into the price first the navisto red fern 75 to pop off leather trifold 99 the dunwall 59 the french company speed wallet mini 89 the flat leather 3 we've got the holy cow walter mitty all right fine i'll stop doing that it's just too much fun 38 dollars amazing the bow height belt trifold 80 rx affinity 55 the slimpuro snap 45 and finally the accenture trifold is 60. what makes each of these wallets special well we've got a mix of unique and classic designs with all of them being very very functional something really every wallet should be functional and demonstrate that properly but i'll warn you if there's leather involved i may be smelling it so we're going to walk through each of these wallets quickly but give you a full top down view of what we have this is the navisto red fern trifold oh yeah i don't care what kind of leather it is it's a full grain vegetan kangaroo leather and from a feature perspective nothing on the exterior but we have one two three and a fourth hidden card slot here these work with these slits that are here and seem to function just fine let's take a look at our combo pile of notes here which will really tell us if we have any issues right off the bat and from what we have here we don't everything fits beautifully and i think if you tuck these down a little further you might just have room for another card in here from that perspective comes in ten colors it's hand sewn and is a wonderful wonderful wallet now onto the pop-off leather trifold designed and made in canada there are no features on the exterior but if we go to the interior we have one two three four and five this is an id slot it also can function as a card slot we go to the interior in the billfold pocket again we will try our combo cache and see if we have any concerns here let's tuck this towards the bottom because that's one of the advantages of tri-folds and you do appear to have a lot of extra room here for additional cards if you want and this is a five ounce leather it comes in four colors is hand or machine sewn depending hand sewn has tan colors and the machine sewn comes in kind of a cream color wonderful wonderful wallet and of course oh yeah this is a harween derby leather just fantastic and so there you go fits beautifully it is a thicker wallet obviously for what it provides you but it is a wonderful wonderful wallet now onto the dunn wallet designed in the netherlands and made in turkey we see the features we have is on this exterior we have a quick access card slot here this is not rfid and is tap capable which we really like and of course you know i don't know why i wouldn't be smelly you know well yeah that is a that is a great leather we open this up we see that we have two additional card slots one on each side here this is all rfid protected and then your finger you can see my finger go through here this is where cash goes and it lays across it is a cash wrap so let's uh take our cash combo option here let's see how we do and it looks like it's going to handle that just fine give it a fold over the cards they say it can hand up to eight plus cards ten plus notes and it says coins but coins would have to be over here laying flat as they fold in then this crease this fold protects them from falling out and that really is a wonderful little footprint very thin great little wallet now to the frenchie card speed wallet mini this is a mini and we're going to see how this thing handles currency it is made from a full grain veg tan italian leather i of course i can't pass this up and it smells awesome it really does designed and made in columbia this is an incredibly small footprint and it does have the benefit of a feature of this magnetic closure we know magnets can be problematic but this works really really well when you put in currency we open it up we see this is where our currency cash wrap resides let's put in our combo stack of cash here and let's see how it performs i imagine it's going to do just fine you just plug that right in there and tuck it in and lookie we have a fine place for our cast to reside and this little magnetic closure handles things just fine you can handle up to 12 cards because of these pull straps right here and the reason why it works so well is because there is no sewing on the bottom it's open and the straps is what holds into the backstop for cards you get six cards in each one of these pull straps that's amazing capacity you can tell the magnetic closure is great because of the cache it's very thoughtfulness placed on where cards are at and the snow sewing actually provides that best mechanism now onto unique wall this is the flat leather three the uniqueness of the flat leather three starts out with this elastic on the exterior which holds it together it's just i like this i like this just not only because it's a unique feature because you know everything is is secure on the interior we open this up we see we have one card slot again another card slot over here this could be a card slot but this is where your cash actually wraps so let's take our combo pile which includes some british pounds and we will plug this in right there and as you see they go in just fine and as you witness we have a lot of room for all currencies wrap this up here and away we go it's made from a horween dublin veg tan leather which you know isn't ah it smells so good it's a party in my nose going on right now it can hold up to 10 cards eight notes and as you noticed all the currencies work it is all handmade so all of the cutting that goes on for every piece it's not a clicker press you know when you mean you you have dies and it clicks it out of the leather this is done by hand as well as this is english elastic and of course all hand sewn beautiful looking and just an excellent conversation piece now we're talking about the holy cow all right i promised i wouldn't do that it's the holy cow walter mini wallet designed and made in kazakhstan yes kazakhstan it has interesting features the walter mitty wallet as you can see reflects on the movie and walter midius himself we have this laser engraved design of the world the continents as we see here and we have a wonderful quote that's in here from walter mitty also laser grid you can have many different things added to this from a laser engraving personalization perspective which they're willing to do and leaves you with all kinds of options here it's really quite fun now let's look at the features nothing on the exterior as you can see here we open it up we see a compartmentalization over here is where we have the billfold pocket on this left hand side is where we have our card slots we have two slip two slits here for organization and one from the top it is all one pocket there are no there's not separate pockets there and that really helps assist with the bulk of this wallet it keeps it really quite thin and the thinness is something you always want because it's going to grow with what you put in it so why start with something that's already heavy now really it smells it smells like full grain full grain leather has a good smell to it can't complain with that and it is a full grain veg tan it feels really good it split perfectly in my mind meaning that the thickness is really good it's not so thin that you're wondering wow is this going to last and it's not so thick you're thinking wow this just adds a lot of bulk to begin with it is very sturdy i love how this this comes together now let's look at the currency combo test here and see how this works because it's not the full length all we have is this piece here and as we put these uh these currency pieces in a little tight but they actually fit just fine no problem the height is good with all of these and you have access to all of your currency it's hand sewn and as you saw in the pricing this is incredibly inexpensive but really high quality something that you should consider if you like this combination and this security flap here is a great touch it just means your cards are not going to go falling out when this is closed and and i like that concept now to the bowl height belts trifold well they have belts in their name they do a lot of belts but they also have this very interesting tri-fold wallet which i really quite like it is designed and made in the united states and you can see it's very traditional in what it has for us here is a full grain vegetan premium bridal leather oh yeah and it does smell good not as not as pungent in a good way as other wallets but it's still still quality comes in four four colors uh up to eight cards ten notes and so no features on the exterior of this but if we go into the interior we immediately see the shiny piece here this is a id slot this is a marine grade plastic i still don't like anything in id slots there but if we move to the other parts of the component or the sections we have one two three four and you're thinking well is that it oh no underneath each of these we have another slot and so we have six slots here for cards and of course a very generous interior billfold pocket cash combo let's throw it in there and see what we've got and we'll tuck it down towards the bottom like we do in some of these wallets oh yes see wonderful opportunity for cards or receipts up here in the top to give you greater capacity this is machine stitched with a very heavy nylon thread and the edges are burnished and dyed a dyed a black dye and just a nice finish i mean when you go to the effort of creating such a wonderful wallet and something with such quality these little touches and finish do take time and they are appreciated in my mind now onto the rocks infinity wallet this is designed and made in pakistan and we've reviewed several of their wallets before oh what did i do there yeah you see that right there see that this is the infinity design you're going well that's not very special but when i open it up like this and then i close it and turn it over and go wait a second i'm seeing the same features so what we have is one two three four card slots here as well as a billfold pocket you can see this interesting design where it flips open and gives you proper access even though it is folded in encounters let's get the our cash in here and see how it handles it even though it is kind of a tight little wallet i like the idea and of course no problem folds just fine and the cash works as you would expect it's up to eight cards and 10 slips of cash or notes there and let's see yeah despite the liner that we have in here it does smell good and they come from tanneries and it's a full grain veg tan leather from southeast asia tanneries as mentioned i reviewed several of these and the quality of the leather is really good the leather on the corners here is wrapped as it comes around you can see there and that is on both sides and that is something that they do with all of their wallets uh the one thing i don't quite like is we've got the liner that comes through from the billfold pocket into this card slot but it does apparently well wear very well now onto the slimpuro snap wallet and that snap comes from the sound you get when you close this here and you go snap designed in germany and made in europe this can hold depending on the size they have an 8 or a 12 card version because this is a cnc'd aluminum base to this and of course they have as you can see a leather that's attached to the top this is brilliant it just folds over folds over snaps you have a tri-fold here with your cash let's see how this cache works it comes in here and even with all this here it just still functions just fine snaps into place or snaps into place and it uh it looks great and you can pull this out have access to your currency which you're you're pulling from here and the footprint while you're still pulling cards out from this side is is really impressive you just thumb out the cards like this gain access to what you want we've seen similar products like this in the past that use this aluminum type capture this wallet also comes with a coin prey that is okay i think they have a better option that is a coin pouch that you can put in here and i think that provides a wonderful opportunity for coins cash and cards and the footprint is really impressive they have a carbon fiber which is really a full grain vegetan that's embossed to look like carbon fiber they have other grained versions on their european site versus the ones currently shipping the united states they have cork even saffiano leather and it all looks really nice and this really functions well i kind of like it and as mentioned it's this trifold that's why it qualifies it functions just like you would expect in a regular trifold so i think it's a clever design it helps address some of the issues you see with just box wallets or slide wallets like this and finally we have the accenturi tri-fold wallet designed in norway and made in china it has an interesting feature here of this this stainless steel clip that that's how you open it up and it clips into place kind of clicks into place like that and it keeps it secure you immediately notice that we've got pockets everywhere on this so you have a pocket on the exterior another one on the back so two exterior pockets and these diamonds a nice design feature really are your thumb pushes to be able to get these cards out once we get to the interior we notice wow we have yet another one and yet another one another and another and a little slot here that they say are for tickets or other things like that you just want to keep in here temporarily on top of all that we see we have our tri-fold component here is the billfold pocket let's put in our combo pack of cash and of course it handles it with no problem you just close things up and away you go great great little wallet 12 cards capable you know six in the different slots plus a little bit more and they say up to five notes well i got definitely more in there and so this stainless steel piece right here it could be a bother at times but many people who have it don't mind it and of course you can you know adjust this a little bit to your liking as it clasps in here and so it is a great clean presentation again a very small wallet for what you get in capacity now let's look at the size between them you can see we've got the navisto 3.72.9.3 that is very very thin and if you look at the balance of the measurements on all of these you can see not only visually but also through the measurements how they really sit compared to one another with an understanding that they all fit currencies they all fit a good number of cards so if you like a larger wallet that is a back pocket carry you know what you're looking at here versus ones that are going to be front pocket carry and still give you the same capacity now let's look at the weight weight is interesting because a lot of this comes down to the amount of leather that's used here some of the leather is stronger than others the kangaroo if you look at the navisto and then you look at the pop-up 123 grams and this gives you an idea here of the leather in its in its entirety of what's included as well as maybe other material the nylon for example in the rocks and it is a good compare and contrast of what you think you'll be carrying by way of just the wallet before you start adding things to it so that wraps up
