[Music] welcome to three AVN's fall camp beating homecoming 2019 featuring inspired messages from your 3abn family and uplifting christian music all to prepare your heart for the coming of the lord [Music] hello and welcome to 3abn fall camp meeting and what a great crowd that we have already some of you have come 500 miles we already found out some thousand miles even 1500 I didn't even dare ask if anybody came 2,000 miles how about this anybody come from another planet I think that will solve it otherwise we could spend about 30 minutes trying to find out where y'all came from but I think we're okay nobody came from another planet not yet it's where we're going right so another place that's what's important Yvonne all camp meetings when your favorite times of the year it's such a time of spiritual renewal you get to meet our the rest of our family our 3abn family that we don't normally see we get to see them and so it's great I love it rather John I tell you we look forward to the seasons changing but it's so good to know that the Lord never changes this time of year when everything is falling we could still stand on the solid rock Christ Jesus so fall camp meeting is not fall in the sense of us but the world is changing if we serve a God that never changes praise God for them he's preaching already it's okay all right all right sister Shelly Quinn well I'm so glad that we're starting with an hour of music you know what worship and music does it kind of helps us plow up the hardened ground so that the soil of our heart will be ready to receive the Word of God and boy when that word is implanted in you and it's rooted and grounded it has the power to save yourself what a blessing camp-meeting is I love this time where we get to shake your hands and hug your necks as Danny always says and just share with you you are part of the 3abn family and it just feels like you come home when we have our fall homecoming and we're excited that each one of you are here and we're happy that you can join us at home as well this morning we had a 3 p.m. board meeting which was an incredible experience to see what God is doing in and through this ministry elder Ted Wilson joined us this morning and shared with the board and he challenged us at 3abn to continue to proclaim the Word of God proclaim and undiluted three angels messages and the other thing he challenged us to was to live lives of holiness - in other words practice what you preach it's not enough to preach the Word of God but we need to live that we need to follow God so I'm excited about fall camp meeting and the opportunity we have to rededicate and reconsecrate our hearts and lives to the service of the Lord Jesus jesus is coming soon right and elder Wilson you hear him mention that a lot right Jesus is coming soon and again he encouraged us at the board meeting as well you know the three been board meeting it's a blessing someone even mentioned it's like a worship service unfortunately don't think we invite the entire group right to the board meeting but it's a blessing being of the three been Boardman it's always an encouragement to be there and to see what God is doing with the Ministry of 3abn and that is thanks to each one of you and you at home thank you for your faithful support for the ministry of 3abn because it's changing lives for what eternity praise the Lord somebody asked how we were doing financially and I said are our donations are down this year but we're happy that's right and they say you're happy why are you happy your donations down it's because not the end of the year yeah right so the end of the year that I love telling the stories in January what God did to get us out of a jam he does that all the time and so we were so thankful that we are serve a God of might and miracles and that we're in a ministry that literally from this little spot in this little town of 600 and West Frankfort about eight or nine towels literally as we speak right now this signal is travelling around the world at the speed of light 186,000 200 miles per second hitting numerous satellites coming down into homes of literally hundreds of millions we don't even know the potential might be a couple billion people Molly's out here Molly Seuss but she used evangelistic seer numbers there she is Molly and how I always accused her I said Molly that's evangelistic she said but it's true that many people could be watching I agree with you tonight Jesus said go ye into all the world and thank you for your love and your prayers and financial support of 3abn because without you we couldn't do what we're doing we could not go forward and literally take this message into the entire world so thank you we're glad those of you that are here those of you who couldn't make it we want is not too late come tomorrow come on Sabbath we're gonna be here all day tomorrow Sabbath all day and evening and those that can't make it period thank you for your love and your prayers and financial support now what I want to do we talked to everybody but Tim so Tim you either I want you to either say something or play something quickly what player sing well right Tim when you get you're on a roll it's roll to heaven okay well we've got some great things happening at 3abn we won't maybe tomorrow night we'll share some of those but I did want to talk about the fact that that with all the the social media there are so many more ways to reach people now than just television radio and 3abn we are committed to every communication highway we believe we should be on it don't you whatever it is social media a lot of times that's used for junk and I see a lot of us so-called Christians on there you know arguing politics and arguing all kinds of things but I'm asking God to help me don't be doing that but to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ because we have so many avenues to get through but I'm excited about what's happening in the continual growth of 3abn for instance this second quarter of this coming year were scheduled to be in Chicago on cable to two point 1 million people in that great city does that appraise the Lord think about that that's absolutely a miracle that 2 point million two point 1 million homes which you take that times 3 per home you're looking at potential of 6 million people in Chicagoland area then we're on track as Jill says for Atlanta this coming year also to reach million-plus we just last several months ago this past year went into Michigan Wisconsin Michigan Indiana Michigan and Indiana they're like 1.2 million homes that's on cable now there's all kinds of ways getting 3abn the cables not dead it's still alive and still going and so it to see these things happening you say what a mighty God we serve what a mighty God we serve people don't like in general people don't like in a lot of the cable companies don't like Christian programming but they go where the demand is right so when you write to your cable companies and say we want to watch 3abn enough people do it they listen because they're thinking dollars we're thinking Souls right they're thinking dollars but whatever the reason we just glad thank you for those of you who are calling riding your cable companies when you go home if you haven't please do they listen we can get on more and more cable companies we're on I don't know all together if you looked at Ino and English a thousand or two or say more like three three thousand three thousand cable companies so that's that's amazing what God is doing ok any any other news here before we get started with their music somebody speaking of the digital I love that because when 3bn first began we weren't even on satellite and then God led 3abn through Moses primo and we broadcast on satellite around the world but we've been talking recently about this digital because I don't I don't have my phone out here which is unusual for me because if you know me I always carry my phone with me and at least people my age you would say and younger and probably many people older than me we watch media on our cell phones that is the way that the world is going it's no longer watching on television although people still watch on television that's why we're excited we're launching on cable and other avenues but 3bn is looking to break into new markets with the apps with the online with social media so we have some exciting developments with that looking at expanding into that because that is where the future is with television it's is going that direction there's an interesting two statistic if I can say that word Roku I don't know how many of you watch 3abn on roku in the month of june ok quite a few hands in the month of june 3.8 million hours of 3abn were washed on roku just the month of june s roll cue yeah goku 3.8 million hours of 3.8 million hours lodge that's a lot of people hits or people going to that's how many hours was watch that's a tremendous moment with that one venue that's correct and we have of course youtube and all the other places too how many of you watched three been on YouTube okay alright how many of you watch the Sabbath School Panel on YouTube okay yeah yeah YouTube is growing and that's the thing that I was going to school so many people have already talked to me about how much they enjoy Sabbath school I want to encourage you even if you watch it on television share the link share it with your your friends and your family because you could save a life and we've talked with people who were not Adventist but someone sent them a link to Sabbath school panel and they have been faithfully studying with us and they're getting ready to be baptized so share a link you know it's it's really important in this day and age I was just thinking you know when we started this a 19 the idea came in November 1984 but 1985 we started building if I had to hurt if somebody came up to me and said are you on Twitter are you on Facebook are you on YouTube you know I am like what in the world is wrong with them you know are you on social media and you're on what you know think how this technology has changed so much in the last almost 35 years amazing Pastor John we got a couple minutes but we don't you say something then pray for us really briefly if how many of you have a phone with you right now how many raise your hands we all have phones know what I like you to do not during the sermon but take your phone go to three 3abn TV look at the live link watch live send that link to someone or many people that you have in your address book and right away as many people as are here you have already doubled or tripled the amount of people that are viewing or can view 3abn and then as many people as you send that's the audience of three Abyan exponentially increasing immediately so that's the power you have social media texting or emailing do that as quickly as you can and if you want to take a picture yourself so they know who's coming from let's have a word of Prayer loving father in heaven thank you Lord unto Him who is able to keep us from falling this is a season of change yet we serve a God who doesn't change all around us the flowers are beginning to bow their heads the leaves that have clapped their hands during the summer while falling to the ground declaring the end of their journey but father we're still trucking on trusting you as you guide us through this world that needs to be navigated spiritually we pray that your Holy Spirit will come and anoint this camp meeting each of the speakers the music the messages the testimonies the viewers and those who are here the listeners and those who are here and may all the glory that is shared and experienced in this place be reflected back to you through lives that are lived for your glory and honor so father we now put ourselves in your hand I mean everything that is done in this camp-meeting advance your cause in the earth advance the mission of 3abn and uplift the name of Jesus and your precious name we pray amen amen okay we're gonna start our music hour and I'm just gonna what we're gonna do instead of introducing everybody and taking up that time we're just gonna I'm going to read you who's gonna be singing each one we'll just come out and you set back and be blessed and music is a great way to really listen to the Lord as he speaks to us and it's so relaxing and it can get it help us get rid of the cares get into worship mode and because it's it's to me it's a powerful tool that God has given us it's a universal language so tonight we're going to start off with Tim Parton that's at the piano now celestine barry dickens will be singing for us and farah her daughter will be accompanying her then after that pastor john Loma King and Ryan Day and Tim Parton gonna have a trio now these these three were practicing while ago they wanted to do some video our camera crew and said could you go over and take John's place a minute and set and be act like you're singing with Tim and Ryan so when we got through I said guys why don't you kick John out and just have me and we'll get a bus and start traveling and they just looked at me and I said I probably could raise the funds to get us a little bus John may not be able to so maybe it's worth a little sound you know giving up a little good sound in order to have a nice ride to a venue you know I don't think I could anyway I was just kidding all right but they do a great job and I'm so thankful for their ministry so John he's gonna be out here in a few minutes I keep teaching he and Bryan and Yvonne giving him voice lessons you know all these folks and I'm just kidding you don't get tight okay then we have a special guest tonight Stephanie dawn how many know Stephanie dawn and she's a great young gal and got a great voice we're so happy that she's here tomorrow night I think we'll lady loves coming lady live Smith Reggie he's with the Gators now he's the was a Vocal Band he can't be here Sabbath but lady love will be here my daughter melody should be here tomorrow evening so we're also going to do some something you probably studied music all your life did you start as a child taking piano lessons you know I took for two years when I was six and seven and it did not take it's no truly I wish mine didn't take I would have taken some guitar lessons if I knew if they didn't take I would sound that right no when I was eight my parents let me stop and they let me start playing for my family and that's where I learned how to play yeah my dad was my influence he played the guitar yeah and so absolutely because you can't think all those chords I mean it has to be it's just something within you that you've done for years because how could you say now I'm gonna do this run yeah there's no way you Minds don't think that fast well it's amazing talent you see [Music] as I walked through the door I sensed his presence and I knew this was the place where love about or this the temple Jehovah God abides we are standing in his presence on holy ground you feel his presence here tonight sing it trust you to give our hearts totally to you to submit and commit our lives to you Lord we realize your coming is very soon in the clouds of glory and Lord we want to be among those who can look up and say lo this is our God whom we've waited for you have come to save us thank you Father for hearing for answering prayers we ask and pray in jesus name amen you can be seated it's pastor John back here why don't you come out and speak to the folks for just a little bit every time we sing that song it causes my mind to pause and think of what would happen if this ministry wasn't built on faith now think about that for a moment what is faith one writer said that faith is an oasis in the heart that cannot be reached by the caravan of thinking when I think about the cornfields of southern Illinois you know my wife and I are New Yorkers she was born in England I was born in New York and I remember a number of years ago one of our pastors in California was leaving to come to 3abn and we did a little farewell for him and he had a little map on his wall in his church he had Sacramento California then he had this little small long trail and a little X which described he says I'm going to Thompson Ville Illinois and we all laughed we said Thompson valeera such a place called Thompson Ville and I never in my wildest imagination neither did my wife and I even think said while we're celebrating his journey to Thompson Ville I could almost see God now that we you know sometimes you rewind the videotape for those of you are old young folk you go to the earlier chapter in the DVD or for those youtubers you just click and you begin where God was and I could see God at that moment saying you have no idea that that's where you're headed and I remember coming to coming to the Midwest my wife and I decided to buy one day just we kept getting an invitation to come to the Midwest come to the Midwest we were in California we were in God's country I thought we kept saying no no this is not where we want to go the Midwest and we came to visit st. Louis we said Lord this not where you want us to go we kept saying no no no no and finally they said don't say no until you come and visit with us well the long and short of that was we decided to come to st. Louis who were there for just about nine months and things didn't work out the way that we thought it should have and I remember sitting on the edge of my bed one day saying Lord you knew this was not going to work out why would you why would you bring us from our thriving church to st. Louis my wife was out shopping and I sat on the corner of my bed and said Lord what do you want us to do with the rest of our lives and two days later we have received a phone call from Danny Shelton I didn't know him that way and then all of a sudden became clear that Thomson Ville was in our future now some of you have come year after year and you don't know but we're here every day and it still doesn't fail to amaze us when we walk through the hallways when we get together and talk after me we may tape a program where we sit up here and tape Sabbath school it never ceases to amaze us when we see Danny walk across the field we visit with him at home or we see him on the yard on his Kubota doing some outdoor work or just looking like Danny Shelton the guy from West Frankfort and I say to people that's the man a God placed within his heart a vision for dream now that is a modern phenomena to the glory of God so for those of you that are watching for those of you that are here think about that faith journey faith tells us to take a step when we don't even see the staircase faith says to us trusts an unknown future to a known God and I've known Danny a long time we've been in the trenches and so many of you have been in the trenches with and we've had those meetings sometimes in his office where we have looked at the ominous future is saying well we don't know what's gonna happen next month or the month after that but you know what friends you know while we're sitting here tonight because God is faithful and when God births a vision he simply looks for someone in whose heart he can pour and as we've heard before so much in the scriptures he's able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that is at work in us so as we're beginning this camp meeting this fall 2019 camp meeting I want you to think one day we will have our last camp meeting don't know when that's going to be and we're looking forward to the day whether it is why we are alive or if we are by God's understanding laid to rest before he returns the only purpose we have here at this ministry falls into a few categories one to do God's will secondly and I want you to hear this we refuse to take God's gifts and robbed god of his glory I understand what I mean by that we love singing but that's not for our glory we love teaching and preaching and giving Sabbath school stuff but that's not for our glory so if you want to continue in this journey with us let me ask you to do this somebody once said the plane is leaving with or without you jesus is coming he's going to finish the work with or without us but what a great privilege what a great privilege to unite our hearts with a hand that knows no failure with a God who has no defeats he has no lost column come on Hawaii so tonight as you begin this camp meeting with us remember this when the Lord calls you he equips you when he equips you he strengthens you continue praying with us as we trust an unknown future to a known God you want to get on board with us you want to travel with us one day by God's glory we'll hear the words well done thou good and faithful servant praise the Lord [Music] you
