-35C EXTREME COLD WINTER CAMPING in a HOT TENT

foreign so so so we have the inside temperature right now sitting at about 20 degrees celsius or about 70 degrees fahrenheit and this is a stark difference from waking up here this morning at about -35 so we're just waiting for everything to thaw out you guys can probably see some of this condensation here that's on the aluminum poles that's quite common when you sleep in these things and you exhale at night you create a lot of moisture that just sticks to the fabric and sticks to the aluminum poles so when we first light the wood stove in the morning it feels a little bit clammy in here while that moisture tends to evaporate so vivian's still snoozing over there how you feeling are you awake what time yet it uh it's about uh maybe twenty after six quarter after six i got up at around uh 5 45. i need some coffee you need some coffee well if you want to pass me out some water so we have a little stash of food and liquids in the bottom of our sleeping bag that just keeps everything warm and keeps it from freezing at night [Applause] this wood stove is hot so we put some birch in this morning well actually we put some pine in first to get it going and then we added some birch just to bump up the btus and it is very very warm next to that whistle so so [Music] so so all right guys so we've been waiting for this all morning it smells absolutely delicious in the tent as you guys can imagine it's about uh quarter to eight right now and we're gonna have a big breakfast to start the day off do you have some pancakes as you guys seen with some blueberries some eggs bologna and beans looking forward to a good hearty meal today i'm gonna add some a little bit of pancake syrup here as well take some yes i have some good little tabasco sauce here for my eggs and this is going to be delicious let's give it a taste test shall we pancakes are delicious good calling those blueberries these are always yummy it's kind of a last-minute decision for the blueberries but i think it was definitely worth it so in order for us to be able to cook all of this food we had to basically sleep with it in our sleeping bag last night to keep it from from uh freezing so um it was definitely worth the wait she's blown bologna fried up with butter very tasty and a little bit of egg with some tabasco oh yeah so guys this was a real quick video for today if you want to see the first half of this video i will link that in the description down below and i'll also pin the video in the comment section it'll be pinned as a top comment you can see the first half of this video we have a lot of work to do today we have to go into town to grab some supplies we need to pull out a load of more gear for next week we have some construction that we're going to be starting here i have some things that i want to build so make sure you guys come back and check that out and other than that we have a long ride back ahead of us we have about another hour or so before the sun will start to rise and we're going to eat our food pack up head back and enjoy the rest of your day so guys thank you for tuning in if you're not following us on facebook check us out there at up north 1660 if you're not following us on instagram check us out there at dave's drew life if you're not subscribed make sure you do click that subscribe button click that bell notification and select all to receive notifications for future videos and other than that you guys stay safe and have a wonderful day we'll catch you guys in the next one peace
