[Music] right lads we're here looking at jamie's new baler that he bought and we even brought killian from don't tell us about it so there she is lad you fear me in business with the jacket and all on you oh look it's look [Music] cause yeah they had them there before i'll get one to see them right hi i'm killian griffith from centre ireland uh we're here today with jamie harley to have a look around the fb 3135 baylor the baler is a full isobus baler controlled with a cci 800 control box in the cab which we'll come back to later the baler features a 2.3 meter pickup uh 2.1 meters from time to time five time bar tines are at 61 centimeter spacings and also incorporates the integral rotor the rotor basically has the rotor itself and the augers all under one shaft this results in the distance between the back of the pickup and the rotor being very very short which allows for a more progressive feed of silage or crop through the intake and into the chamber it's a split drive gearbox so on the left hand side you drive your router and pick up and on the right hand side we drive the [Music] chamber the pickup has the ability to be pivotal as well so on the right hand side of the pickup we can release a pin and it allows the pickup to pivot which is good for ground following on the intake rotor um we're on a 23 knife system on this particular baler which are group selection possible on it as well so we can run either zero knives seven knives 11 12 or the full 23. at full 23 we're on a 45 mil chop length and an 11 or 12 or on a 90 ml chaplain again they can be selected from inside in the cab and also by use of the uh selection handle here uh to select deny the number of knives we basically we lower our floor and our knives and then we just select the number off the handle here and then just re-engage it within the cab the flights underwater are all hard ducks so again very very good wearing effect and stripping effect against the knives the knife is forward sitting and are all individually spring-loaded so it uh offers a good progressive chop and the rotor uses the full surface area of the knife to um to to chop the grass or results in less wear and tear on the knife and a better chopping uh function then as well it features a drop floor and blocking system it also features a rotor and pickup disconnect system here this is done to the workings of a dog clutch which are engaged from the cab of the tractor so if the builder gets blocked you can actually disconnect your rotor and pick up from turning apply the the nest or the plastic to your bail let out your bale and as a result that through your crop the baler also features uh has a feature of what we call the auto d block system whereas when the baler detects a block it automatically drops the floor and the knives to allow the blockage true this can be run either fully automatic or in a manual mode and is a nice feature there as well of the automa automated system on the baler the build chamber is on 1.22 meters by 1.25 meters it incorporates 18 powertrack rollers uh the roller is formed from 3.2 mil thick steel uh it's roll formed and laser welded on one side to create a very very strong roller uh you have 50 ml shafts coming off your roller and double race bearings and all the low bearing rollers and drive main drive rollers as well every roller has a scraper system on it which pushes out any chaff and dirt and dust out through cleaning slots on the baler as well all the chains on the baler are an inch and a quarter chain all the main drive chains are 100 h and rotor and pickup chain are 20 b chains the baler has a fully automatic oiling system and as soon as your pto is engaged uh you're she's constantly oiling and supplying the chains with a good um coat of oil at all times the baler features automatic greasing system beacon back squeezing system this one incorporates the bulk tank so you have enough grease there usually for three or four days bailing depending on the number of bales you're doing every bearing on the baler gets greased automatically at said intervals even the top door hinging rollers as well i suppose one of the main features of this baler is that she carries the film binding system on the front as well as the net binding system this system is also available on our combi balers our fpp range and our ibio range but is has been available with two years on the standard biller or solo baler systems it incorporates the 750 ml standard roll of plastic which is used under conventional wrappers and on the back of combi balers and as a result our stretching of the plastic going onto the balen chamber is that 70 percent similar to as i say conventional wrapping are the back wrapping system on combi balers very simply the plastic is loaded uh from this height your insert push back in and simply push back up into the working position here on the application of the plastic both dispensers will turn 90 degrees to start off with narrow tails and then feed in the two rolls of plastic tack together as one so actually going start off as two individual rolls going as one continuous sheet of plastic and the bale then is wrapped to seventy percent stretch at usually three layers in using three layers unlike the full width uh plastic we use about four layers because you have a tail at the start and the finish whereas with the full width plastic you will actually be using about four and a half layers to allow for the wider um with plastic to be pulled into the tail um and when she's finished wrapping then she comes back up into the upright position cuts and the veil is done another nice uh feature of this system here is that if the operator decides to switch from plastic back to net your two rolls of plastic can be left in situ here and just uh your plastic fed into your feed rollers and spreader bars and use that way vice versa if you want to use the plastic your net stays in situ here and just feed your plastic back into your feed rollers again so you have no taking off a net to be replaced by the full weight plastic our netting system then again uses the similar feed rollers to the to the plastic we also have spreading bars here um with raised ridges on them so we can actually spread the plastic out to the corners or the shoulders of the bale are out over the shoulders of the bale which makes it a a more uniform bale for wrapping as a result also we pre-stretch our net at to about 10 percent plus then the difference between the speed of the bale and the speed of the net increases the stretch again so we have a very very tightly pulled net on the bale which makes again for a more uniform bale and a better uh tie bail the stretch of your net is uh adjusted here with this pulley there's no tools required we just release a handle and then we can twist the pulley to adjust the stretch of your net once you're happy with where you have set it you just re-engage the handle again both the amount of layers of net and plastic are adjusted from the terminal in the cab as mentioned earlier it's a fully automatic baler so once the bale has been formed in the chamber and either the net or the plastic applied automatically the door will open but this builder also features a tailgate automate which means that once the bale has cleared the kicker the door will actually close again so in other words the bait the door does not need to open to its full um ability if as long as the bail clears the kicker she will close again that increases your speed of door open close time and also increases your output as regards the door fully open and close time it's under four and a half seconds so it's the quickest is on the market comes equipped with 560 45 22.5 bkt tires which are low ground pressure tire and good for ground following the baler also has room for two extra rolls of plastic which can be held here on the left hand side of the baler [Music] the baler is controlled by a cci 800 screen which is an 8 inch flat touchscreen terminal full iso bus and a full universal terminal as well the terminal also incorporates two mini views at the side which can be used for a camera or for other implements or something like that with the cca cci 800 you get full sequential operation diagnostics through the through the terminal so you can see the full sequence of the bare being made wrapped and let out through the back door of the baler and also your drop floor and auto d block and all them functions are also illustrated on the box in real time as they happen the baler runs a load sensor hydraulic system at 60 liters per minute some of the features include back door hydraulic lock so every time your back door is open and closed it locks on the hydraulics which again contributes to a more uniform-sized bale and a denser bell um bail pressure is monitored from the clock here and is adjusted from the cabin attractor every time your back door shuts your drop floor is pressurized up and locked into position and that contributes to an increased chopping quality of the bale as well you
