The role we'd like you to play, is Gyeoul's. Her name is Jang Gyeoul, (Requires very difficult acting) which will be tough. To be honest, before the auditions, we didn't know Gyeoul would be so hard to play. I figured they just have to seem sort of distant reading the lines. But no one can do it. Not many can do it. After reading it the first time, I thought she was tough to play because she's not a bad person. But the average person may think she comes off that way. There are lots of guys who seem tough but are softies deep down. She's rough around the edges. She believes what she's doing is right. But she doesn't have a lot of experience with patients, and the same with love. She's green in many respects, but she's actually a really innocent character and toward the end, there are lots of surprises. What we worried about, and was hoping for was to find someone not very well-know to play her. That's a bit part of it. - A lesser-known actress. - Someone new... But you're pretty well-known so we weren't so sure. So before we begin the show... Other than the five main roles, the others will be Kim Younghee, Kim Chulsoo, Shin Hyunbeen... (So no emphasis is on Hyunbeen) We'll do it on purpose. We don't want you to feel hurt by it. I want to keep you hidden, so you're sort of overlooked that way, later on, there will be a bigger impact no matter what she does. Of the residents, you're the only one who's involved with two of the five. You're close with Ikjun. You're very close with Ikjun, and the two will be close friends. But your love interest will be a professor named Jungwon. The romance story will also be done in Gyeoul's own style. She's very straightforward, even in love. She's very forward... She's forward and won't hide her feelings. If she likes someone, she'll say it. If not, she'll say that too. She's very innocent, in some ways. Jungwon will be played by Yeonseok. Yoo Yeonseok. Do you know each other? (Not at all) You've never met? Not once? I may have seen him, but I can't recall at all. Don't think of the love story to be dramatic. Plus, the show will have several seasons so it might seem slow. We'll tell the daily lives of people, and amidst that some romance will be added. What's nice to know is what beautiful features you have. Thank you. We'd like to film the drama without any makeup, if we can. You have to come out looking like a resident doctor to the audience... A doctor who didn't sleep for days. We don't want you with a full face of makeup and with your hair done. We want to show it's okay for a woman to have messy hair. You said you saw Confession, right? I wasn't wearing any eye makeup. I didn't put on any eyeliner or mascara. Are you afraid of bugs? Not really. You're not? That's good to know. Why do you ask? (They don't have to worry about the scene with her) I'm not super grossed out by them. I'm good at catching mosquitoes. (Final hurdle, that it will have several seasons) You heard, right? (No problem) Yes, I heard it would be several seasons. Of course, once we get going and you decide it's not for you, then, we'll figure something out. Like I take off somewhere? IMO, what makes Winter Garden an interesting couple is the awkwardness between them. And that sort of atmosphere was pretty much thanks to Gyeoul's cold and blunt character. And I think SHB nailed it as JG.

Her facial expression, her tone when she speaks, even the speed of her speech was just on point. I'm hoping to see SHB feature in more drama after Hospital Playlist.
