naked [Applause] exciting it's insertion day looking forward to it [Music] I've been having babies for five years and I've been watching this show dreaming of the day that I get to come on it okay let's do it only a stay-at-home mom would sign up for Naked and Afraid fan challenge to get a break from their children so here's my vacation time let's go [Music] this is way harder on your feet than it looks hey how's it going I'm Ashley I'm Matt oh my gosh here we go nice to meet you nice to meet you uh this is weird right very weird oh my gosh big fan of the show I've seen like every episode the team has been given a pot Matt has brought his Hatchet and Ashley a fire starter I really want to be warm at night absolutely it's cold out here and boil our water oh easy now ow ow a lot easier when you're sitting on your couch absolutely nothing like feet TV that water I think I found water oh you're my hero I think I did I think I did Lord hallelujah thank God it's not what I wanted but it's but it's something mosquito fly Central the good news is we got water and there's quite a few fish in there ew feels good we got water and fire we're gonna survive freezing are you shivering tonight all we have is body heat I just grabbed your hand like you're my husband I'm sorry yeah oh my God so cold yeah we definitely uh got the cuddles down on day one it got us through but we kept having to toss and turn with very little Comfort we have to have a shelter bite tonight if nothing else we get done today that is what we have to get done today we've got good grass bundles and made a nice insulation blanket to make sure that the ground doesn't zap all our body heat from us some sticks make some Deadfall traps back home I enjoy hunting and I came out here wanting to prove myself as a provider I'm using some acorns and then whatever's gonna eat it I'm gonna go out there and hopefully drop down see how she does [Music] hurts so bad I don't know I don't know if I could sleep here oh I can't I can't get out I'm freaking out we made it that night was brutal it's the morning of day three it feels like day 40 just from this grass right here my shoulders are like itchy and on fire this is the style grass that is agitating Ashley so doing the best I can to see about finding nice soft single blade grass fatigue is definitely setting in you know I genuinely think that she has a desire to be out here but I don't think she has the skill set to be out here I'm gonna do my best to make her comfortable [Music] all right I've got a bag full of grass oh I totally could sleep in that I can okay maybe yeah I can tell right now he's doing everything he can to help me stay warm so that I can I can sleep a little bit and that makes me appreciate him I could play on that Deadfall traps so far has not yielded any positive results other than they're coming up and stealing my bait I can't breathe breathe [Music] I think I'm allergic to the hay because my whole body it's so itchy right now I don't want to do another night lock last night yeah it's kind of what we signed up for I'd rather not sleep than sleep on needles I know it sucks in there but I have to do the best we can with the best we got well how about that we can build a nice rock wall and a half moon pushing heat towards us I can do it it's a lot of work that's going to expend a lot of energy you have beautiful kids at home who love you no matter what you do she and I are gonna stack substantial amount of rocks the grass is not as effective at keeping us warm so we're building a nice rock wall to reflect heat as well as hold our fires in it's important the team succeeds if she taps I won't tap but still failed I wasn't able to help her and if I lose a member of my team for any reason then I failed wow that rock wall really works it's reflecting all the heat back on us I may see about building a fish trap they are heavily active right in this area are you making a Corral yes ma'am the fish shoot in and out of that hole as a place to hide and run blocked up everything except for that opening hopefully out there in the fourth trap is there any fish in your Corral I don't see any right now now I was really hoping to eat a fish or crawdads here [Music] we killed a snake oh I already feel ecstatic because I know we're gonna have dinner tonight you're my hero I think I could have figured that out but pretty gross you hold it for a minute you can see the little bit of meat that's crazy that this thing was just alive thank you snake thank you very much oh he's still curling that is skinned and gutted and still curling what it wants to bite me oh but it doesn't have teeth good job friend good job thank you you've done it without you cause I'd have been over here playing around but I totally missed it we a team so grateful for you grateful for you darling snake on the fire so you're going for the meat the meat's on the top snake was more of a mental Victory versus like a caloric Victory but to be nine on this snake right now feels really badass oh I got a fish you got a fish look at that yeah cool Mama's cooking dinner tonight I got another big one you're a fish Slayer they're only three or four inches long but I'm super proud of myself [Music] I get home we're gonna go fishing oh that's so good real simple clean white meat eating this fish feels like such a victory and Chopper some protein I could eat a hundred of these [Music] we have a problem what I just sharted I'm not kidding I went to fart and it was wet and juicy um but I need to go wash my butt hell no don't wash it out in the water hole oh it's fine it is not fun we boil the water anyways it's fine she did put it in our water source it's disgusting that is the worst thing you could do oh you're so dramatic I don't want to be medically tapped because somebody else's poor decisions you do understand that's toxic that water is toxic we boil it everything you drink had poop in at one point all the water that's ever been on the Earth has ever been on the earth you are drinking Indian poop I get that you could smell my fingers if you want I I no really glad you're found some humor in this because I am not at all and I'm moving on and I won't do it again so you could keep being mad about it I'm going to take a day to get over this that is disgusting let me get over it time to move on hey you know what on this one what dead fish what could have done that one two three four five I'm super nervous about Matt saying it was my poop fire partner why there's six floating dead fish in the water grand scheme of things she is a good partner for what she brings to the table and and a positive outlook she helps me I help her so I'm going to focus on trying to get some protein in us to get us through to extraction four days any option nope not even a nibble nope [Music] I'm pushing pretty hard last week their level of fatigue that I have right now is unparalleled to anything in the past I've consumed less than a thousand calories it's taxing on the body my body starting to say stop treating you like I can't handle much more [Music] is a slow delicate and often ow painful process the pads of the prickly pear cactus are rich in vitamins and can be eaten raw or cooked this is a win we needed let's see about heading back to my partner about getting some of this in her stomachs prickly Pearl oh you're my favorite my partner comes up with prickly pear and I'm so grateful this is awesome thank you so much absolutely hook them up managed to eat most of the the meaty out of The Middle and my partner is a rock star and he took his little hike and it paid off thank you it's extraction day well the sun's starting to hit the ridge here we go tail lights let's do this the extractions uphill Rocky if this is the beginning this is going to be really tough this is never ending careful careful concerned about my partner worried she's fading on me she seems to be falling down a lot oh easy all right ow my mouth is like cotton you need some water no I just want to keep going [Music] get there [Music] [Music] this challenge was not the vacation and I thought it would be if this was way harder being a fan I've seen people with way more skills than me not complete this and so I'm feeling pretty badass we did it during this 14 day fan challenge Ashley lost 13 pounds her PSR increases to a 5.5 Matt lost 14 pounds his PSR Rises to a 6.1 how about here doing those seven days now feed me
