You can see Forestgate Daikanyama as soon as you come out of the central exit of Daikanyama Station. This building is a new building that combines residential buildings and shopping malls. As for facilities , it has a total of two buildings. One is the main building , which contains residences, offices and some commercial facilities. The other building is called TENOHA. The shorter one on my left is based on the theme of circular economy. The facilities inside are all related to recycling. Economy-related Forestgate Daikanyama Forestgate Daikanyama's concept is a building in the forest , so you can also see that a lot of wood is used in the exterior of the building , especially the main building behind me. Each floor is like a layer. Stacked wooden boxes are stacked together. What about the TENOHA building on the left? If you look from top to bottom, you will find that it is a hexagonal building. Its shape is very special. There are more than 400 kinds of plants in this Forestgate , so when you walk in It's like walking in a forest. This time we will show you the places that are currently open for tours . Let's go in. The place we are going to go to now is actually the square in addition to the passage between the TENOHA building and the main building . There are also markets held on weekends , so you may encounter various markets when you come here in the future. So when you come to Daikanyama Station, you can come here first and take a look. What about the building behind me now? It is the main building of Forestgate. This main building is a building that combines office rentals, residential buildings, restaurants and some commercial facilities. The biggest selling point of the building is that the rooms it rents out are actually designed with three masters in different fields. For example, the architect Kengo Kuma is the head of a landscaping company and a food essayist. They each use different themes to create special rooms. For example, the room designed by Kengo Kuma is based on the theme of relaxation, and Taichi Saito designed it. It is based on the theme of greenery. Hirano Sakiko has created different rooms with the theme that everyone can easily enjoy food here. We visited every room. Everyone's style is really different , which is pretty good . I opened my imagination about rental housing. Now I come to their lobby. It’s super beautiful. The lobby designed by Kengo Kuma is all made of wood from the forest they cooperate with in Okayama Prefecture. This wood here. Every wood. The roots actually grow differently, retaining the original look of the wood , so it looks very natural , not artificial , and looks very textured. There is a plant specialty store here called SOLSO HOME , and their specialty is their All the plants are grown by themselves . This plant shop actually has branches in quite a few places . This time, one of the residences was also designed by this company. Another highlight of this facility is that they will open it in December. A brand new Blue Bottle Coffee will be opened soon. The characteristics of this restaurant feel related to this facility. There are quite a few different plants and the windows are very good for lighting. I’m quite looking forward to it. Forestgate actually has another big theme , which is food. Because of the theme , there are some planned spaces in the main building, such as a central kitchen, private dining rooms and a small number of special ingredient sales shops , so there are opportunities to be exposed to many food-related activities, which we also had just now. Go in and visit their various spaces, such as the central kitchen, which is very beautifully and brightly designed. The ingredients sold in the food bank are also small and special ingredients . The private dining space is beautifully covered, and even the chairs are very beautiful. They have a very particular space here called the cooking room , which can be provided to businesses, residents here or even private individuals. They can make reservations to cook directly here. The legs of the chair are also It's very special . It uses a whole side of wood. Unlike ordinary chairs, which have four legs, the fulcrum of this chair is a T shape. It's quite special. The sky and street view of Daikanyama can also be recycled by planting plants on the balcony. The walls and kitchen sink of this room are all in the same color, so it looks very integrated and beautiful. Now we are on the 10th floor . Let me take you on a tour of their largest penthouse apartment . Now we come to the space of their master bedroom. The space of the master bedroom has a balcony with double-sided lighting. You can go out from both sides. It has a lot of space . The entire private balcony belongs to you. It's so high-end and the view here is super good . Now we are coming to another facility in Forestgate called TENOHA . What's special about this facility is that it is themed around circular economy . The entire building is, or The shops in the building are actually related to sustainable recycling. The wood is made from a place in Okayama Prefecture that manufactures environmentally friendly wood. When they choose wood , they do not use the same specific wood like ordinary buildings . Using various types of wood from the forest, this building has a flower shop, a cafe , and sometimes a holiday market. When you come out of Daikanyama Central Exit, you can actually go directly to this building to browse first before going to Daikanyama. Now let me take you inside to see what it looks like inside. TENOHA Building has 3 floors in total. The first floor is the space I am in now. It is made into a cafe and a flower shop. The second floor is a terrace and library. There is a most special one on the third floor. It is a rooftop farm. As soon as you enter this building, you can see many hexagonal elements. Like the potted plants at my feet, the ceilings are all hexagonal. There are many different hexagonal shapes in nature, like honeycombs, so there are so many hexagons here to create a concept of creating connections , and they The construction techniques are also quite special. They use the more environmentally friendly tenon method , so the parts inside can actually be disassembled and reused. Because TENOHA is all based on the concept of circular economy , even their cafe In fact , the ingredients and meals are all related to the circular economy. For example, the honey lemon drink I have in my hand now, the mint on it is made from the mint picked from the vegetable garden on the roof of this building. Everything in it is In fact , the ingredients are all taken from the entire building. It is very special . In addition to the ingredients from the rooftop vegetable garden mentioned just now, they also use vegetables outside the specifications . They cannot be sold in supermarkets , but they are still edible. In addition to using standard vegetables , they also use edible flowers for decoration. I think their meals are really exquisite and creative, so if you come to TENOHA, you can come here to take a look at their cuisine. This is handmade Kotonin and this kind of apple juice that children can also drink. The packaging is so cute. I want to take it home as a souvenir. Daikanyama Station is really right next to it. It’s super close . There is also a small flower shop at the door. The concept of circular economy is that their flowers are actually selected in the flower field. They may have some insect bites or are not as beautiful as B-grade products. It is actually quite a pity to throw them away, so they are gathered here to sell them.
