well welcome to part 4 of this epic adventure were on our way to Hoth which is a seaside resort for a seaside town it's about 20 minutes out of Dublin unlike yesterday there's not much wind sun shining is a lot warmer than it was yesterday what could possibly go wrong anyway I'm on my way to Connolly station where I will catch the dark train to the end of the line of mouth and I'll see when we get to the station [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] well I made it and here are some words of wisdom for blue sky today slight breeze I think we're in for a good day round wiggle down to the point here and have a look around when you look at the color of the sky in the color of the water you've got the seagulls and the fishing boats this place almost has our Canada Mediterranean feel to it who used to be a small fishing village but it's been swallowed up by Dublin's Metropolitan Area but it still has a very small kind of village II feel to it it's lovely here absolutely lovely apparently the Vikings thought it was lovely as well they invaded the place in 8 1 980 bay they didn't have weather like this though [Music] [Music] I wish there was a way that YouTube could make you smell this place as well as see it it stinks of fish it really does this is Val katan's Bay Beach and it's a privately owned beach as far as I understand but members are loaded onto it and it's late March the water is probably freezing that's not stopping a number of senior citizens from going for a swim they go for a couple of minutes swim they get hypothermia then they go home and have a hot cup of tea so good luck to them I'm going to no walk around the actual headland and found this is quite picturesque I have to get moving though because I have a train to catch you know around about three or four hours I've noticed quite a few of these a tropical implants it's probably to do with the Gulfstream working its way up the IRC but looking at this scene here you would think you're in southern Spain or Portugal well if I'm not flying somewhere if I'm not catching a train another thing I enjoy doing is going for long walks and I'm not just talking about a stroll I actually March I'm a very fast Walker it was about six or seven years ago I actually walked in one day between Vienna and Bratislava with a backpack now that's a distance of about 48 kilometres it nearly killed me if I managed to do it that's a sort of extremes I put myself to so this this walk here is our own about six kilometres this should be pretty easy what I didn't say I was a health fanatic did I [Applause] how amazing is this scenery I was just speaking to a nice couple from Stuttgart talking about football there seems to be a lot of foreign accents on this path so maybe the Dubliners take this for granted it's the tourists that come here thank goodness I had a hearty breakfast this morning I also brought a Snickers with me and that's gone I've brought about that much water left but we're only a couple of miles from civilization so I think I'll survive [Music] well according to this sign here says the next train terminates which is probably a good thing because it's the end of the line in fact here it comes now [Music] well this is the Dublin train and it leaves in 15 minutes well what seats should I pick [Music] I think all that fresh sea air has absolutely shattered me I could sleep for a week [Music] [Music] I'm back at Connolly station if you thought this adventure was over then you are very much mistaken because I have to go to the jury's in to get my bag I have to go to the bus station to get the bus to the airport and then I have to survive a ryanair flight to Glasgow oh no I hate Ryanair it's a bus with wings anyway first things first juries in [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] I've just spent the last hour and a half stretching out a double cheeseburger and fries at Burger King using their free Wi-Fi and getting some editing done a good earner half used [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] well that was Ryanair lived under expectations an actual fact it wasn't too bad but it is just like a bus of wings and the bus transfer from the aircraft to the terminal building was quite exciting I can't remember the last time I had one of those here at Glasgow in fact I'm not even sure if we've had one before at Glasgow so could have been at first anyway I hope you enjoyed this series of videos whack the like button please subscribe it only encourages me and I'll see you next time the next set of videos will be in about four weeks time and I will going to Faro in the Algarve region of Portugal so if you don't want to miss those make sure you subscribe thanks very much and I'll see you next time
