✅ Outfits That Will Always Have YOU Looking Expensive

looking expensive doesn't always mean it has to actually be expensive so today we're putting together several outfits so that I can show you how easy it is to always look expensive [Music] hey friends it's Angela so good to see you again today and if it's your first time here welcome and thank you so much for stopping by I am super excited because today we are going to go over several different outfits that will always have you look expensive but not make you sick when you get up to the register and you actually see the amount of what they cost to make things easier I broke all the outfits down into categories because for me I don't really feel like looking expensive means the same thing for every occasion so for an example we have outfits that fit into the category of looking expensive for a dinner out or maybe going to work outfit set will help you look more expensive going out for an afternoon lunch let's say or even outfits that will make you look more expensive just wearing your jeans so before we get started with our first category I just want to mention that most of these items came from about four or five different stores and while most of the time I can find links for a lot of the different items what drives me nuts is TJ Maxx and Marshalls a lot of the times I'll go to look for a link online they don't have it so I would suggest if you liked those items that came from those stores you may want to go to your local Marshalls and TJ Maxx and hopefully you'll be able to find those items in your local store so the first category we're starting out with is our work dinner out category and I am totally loving this first outfit all six pieces that I'm going to be showing you except the shoes came from Nordstrom Rack and everything together was a hundred and fifteen dollars now that's not including the shoes because I figure most of you out there probably have a pair of black heels already at home so those I just dug out of my closet to put with this outfit we're gonna start with a Bare Bones basics of this outfit first and then we're going to keep adding the layers because I love at the end when everything comes together and it just looks like such a great outfit let's start at the bottom with this skirt first it's by the Nordstrom BRAC brand it was 25 it's a nice silk skirt but it's got a really nice heavy lining underneath that's actually attached to the outer layer so when the wind blows they're both going to stay together perfectly I love the length of the skirt it hits right under the knee it does have an elastic waistband there is no zipper or anything that you need to monkey with putting this on but it's got enough stretch so it does fit up and over the hips they had other colors in this as well but black is such a classic color I feel like you can really put a lot of different taps with it for fall and winter because of the next top you're going to be seeing I needed to buy a cami to go underneath that so I picked this light pink color it's a beautiful color it has some lace detail right up around the edges it's got really thin spaghetti straps but they are adjustable and for me I wouldn't wear it on its own I'm gonna probably put a Blazer or some kind of top over it this Cami is a really nice quality too because it's also totally lined I picked it up again at Nordstrom Rack for twenty dollars now the shirt that I picked up to go on top of this is by Mac Studio it was 25 and it's really a nice feeling quality material but also very light so you're not going to be too hot in it it does have a pretty dramatic V in the front and that is why I got the Cami to go underneath I love the pattern on this top I feel like it's just a little bit different but looks elegant I love how it comes together at the waistline and it's got some stretchy ruching material so it does give you a little breathing room and these sleeves are super fun too they're more of a balloon style sleeve and the ballooning kind of goes more towards the end I decided to look for a belt that I felt would go really well with this and I found this material belt it's very flexible but it's got a lot of pizzazz going on with it as well then I had to stroll through the jewelry department and I found this necklace that I thought would go perfectly with this outfit 15 and I love how in between the little gold loops there there is a little Diamond detail which really adds the Elegance factor to this necklace and then these earrings I thought were really super cute as well but very dainty elegant and classy necklace I want to say was 15 and the earrings might have been 10. then we need to finish off this outfit with a pair of black heels and you are set to go now this dress is a one and done outfit that looks expensive and classy all on its own this is by Calvin Klein I picked it up at Marshalls for thirty dollars a little black dress will never go out of style this is such a classy Timeless look they really make such good quality dresses and they seem to always really fit women well that have some hips what I love about this dress besides the quality is this little bow detail up at the neckline I feel it just looks really classy the length on this is really nice it comes right up above the knee I love the gold zipper detail in the back it just adds to the class Factor all I did was add my black heels and kept these little gold earrings on and grab your purse and you're ready to go out the door for thirty dollars you cannot beat this dress for having an expensive classy look just a little side note if you cannot find this dress at Marshalls for yourself look at TJ Maxx because I know that Carrie Calvin Klein there as well or check Macy's it may be a little bit more expensive at Macy's but you may not have as much of a problem finding it there this next outfit is also really perfect for going out to a work type dinner or maybe working in an office it's really a well put together outfit let's start with the pants they came from Nordstrom Rack as well they are by Mac Studio and they were thirty dollars they are a slim trouser trouser and they seem to kind of taper a bit they're a little bit tighter at the top and they taper down the leg just a little bit now the Plaid in the pants I feel just helps it look more expensive active then this black top came from Nordstrom Rack as well it was 18 it's by the Nordstrom Rack brand and I like the v-neck at the top I like the pleating and the buttons around the front as well and the best part about it for me are the sleeves I love something different like this and this little flowiness created in the ruffling around the ends of the sleeves is perfect and it is a long enough tap that you could wear it with slim pants like this you could wear it with jeans you could wear it with leggings even because it covers not only the back but it covers the front like a lot of you were worried about this top would do that for you now to me I felt like I needed a belt so I went up into my closet and brought down this belt that I had gotten from Target love this little chain link belt you know it's perfect for dressing up an outfit and making it look a little bit more expensive and classy at the same time now for necklace I couldn't figure out which one I liked better so you're gonna have to decide for yourself but the chunkier necklace that I had on first that I bought at the Nordstrom anniversary sale is by open edit it was 25 during the sale but the original price I think was about 40. this necklace is beautiful because it really goes with a lot of things to elevate the look and make it look more classy and expensive so I figured we'd try that necklace and see what you thought and then I also wanted to try the other necklace that I picked up from Nordstrom Rack which is a little bit more tamed down but still the gold to match the gold in the belt and it still looks very elegant and makes C outfit classy as well I kept the same earrings on because again it just goes well with both necklaces then I put on my black heels and I feel like that just finishes off the look if I worked in an office this would be an outfit I would probably be wearing all the time now this next dress is definitely one I've shown you before but I had to bring it out of the closet for a few reasons it is a perfect one and done dress to look very classy elegant and expensive all on its own this dress was by Calvin Klein I picked it up at Nordstrom Rack and you can still find it online there as well but I know I've also seen it at Marshalls and TJ Maxx and Macy's actually and another reason why I wanted to show this to you is because they have this in a hot pink as well which was one of the colors for this fall besides the green I also saw it in Black Navy and they had a really pretty khaki with this gold detail on it it really looked classy what I love about it the top almost looks more like a moto style jacket doesn't it with all the zippers the snaps and the folding over of the collar love that look it's got a belt at the waist so it brings you into just a little bit more and I love how it's got the zipper detail go going all the way down the front it's got zippered pockets and it really is a nice length it hits right at the knee so to go with this I decided to bring out the necklace that I bought from Nordstrom Rack as well the gold goes with all the gold accent in the dress and then I paired it with my Calvin Klein wedges which are one of my favorite I've had them actually for years but it really goes with the look of this dress so just a side note about this dress the material on here is a very thick kind of warmer material so if you live somewhere where it's warm all year long and you're not going to be wearing it to somewhere that's got air conditioning you may not want to consider wearing this dress because you may be sweating bullets wearing something like this this next dress is another expensive classy looking dress all on its own this is by Calvin Klein again I'm telling you I love the Calvin Klein brand the dresses are always just such quality and made really well as soon as I saw this plaid to me that says expensive especially in this gingham type pattern I got this dress from TJ Maxx for 40 dollars so great deal considering the quality of this dress I like the length of this dress it goes down past the knee so I would say it's a midi length dress I like the tie at the waistline because it just brings you in a little bit more and adds a little touch of something going on at the waistline to break up the pattern now again this dress is a little bit on the warmer side so if you live somewhere where it's warm a lot of the Year this may not be a good choice unless you're going to be in air conditioning wearing it all I'm going to do is put on a gold necklace you could also go silver with this that would look really pretty or even touches of black in your jewelry would look good as well and then of course my black heels are the perfect choice for this dress and grab your purse again you're out the door this next dress there's a little story that goes to it my friend and I were shopping four dresses for this video so this we found in Macy's and as soon as we both saw it on the hanger we were like oh that is really pretty I thought it was going to be 70 so I thought okay a little little bit more pricey but let's go up to the register let's let's do it we get up to the register she's like this is our on Final Act or whatever it's called it's forty dollars but you can't return it do you really want it I'm sure you felt this way where you just get to the end of the day and you don't want to try anything else on you're just done so I'm like oh what do I do I really don't want to try this on it's really pretty I don't know how it's going to look on me so I'm at the register debating him and Han do I buy this dress so finally I say all right we're just gonna go for it and knowing that I can't take it back if it doesn't look good on me but the rationale in my mind I thought if it doesn't look good on me for some reason maybe I'll tuck it away and put it in my giveaway pile for the end of the year I figured somebody will love to wear this dress if it doesn't look good on me so I took a chance and here we are this is another amazing one and done dress all on its own it looks expensive it looks classy it's something that you could go to a day event even and you want to be a little bit more frilly a little bit more dressed up and classy looking or you could definitely do this for a nighttime event as well so you're gonna laugh but this address again is by Calvin Klein I'm telling you I must just gravitate towards that brand because I really are nice quality and if you can find it at one of these affordable stores for a good deal you look expensive and classy and you save yourself some money what do I love about it I love the navy color I feel that's a great look for fall and for winter I like the frilly little ruffling going on around the edges here I like the buttons going all the way down the front and the thing is you can either button it all at the bottom or you can undo just a couple to give you just a little bit of sexy legs sticking out I like that it has a belt at the waistline now you could stick with this Navy belt if you wanted to but I could also see swapping this out from maybe something with gold in it like that gold link belt that I tried on earlier because it would just be something to break up all the Navy going on when you have an outfit that looks expensive looks classy all on its own I want to add some minimal accents to highlight it but I don't want to add too much so again I'm keeping the earrings on I'm keeping this really dainty looking gold necklace on and I think that really finishes off the look well now we're moving on to the category of looking expensive and classy more for a lunchtime outing or any kind of daytime activity this dress is another one of my favorites from my closet I got it from TJ Maxx not too long ago so they you could probably still find it there it's from Anne Klein and it was thirty dollars it's a very lightweight kind of linen feeling dress I'm not really sure it's actually quite linen but it feels like it could be I like the collared tap I like the buttons all the way down the front again I like that it's got a little belt to tie at the waistline this dress is not only good for a nice summery daytime event but I could also see it transitioning well into fall maybe with a tie front cardigan a white cardigan on top of it would give you a light layering piece this dress does have pockets which is really nice and again I wanted to go minimal with the jewelry either that or I'm getting kind of lazy that's what's going on here right so this this necklace is one that really goes with so much just to show you that that you can wear it with multiple things it makes it worth the the cost that you pay and same with the earrings these are ones that are classic they're Timeless are going to go with a lot then I just decided to put on my white wedges now they are a little bit more on the Casual side so it might take this outfit down just a little bit as far as the look I wore this elf outfit in Venice and I felt expensive and classy standing with the with the Italian buildings behind me and the gondolas floating through the canals maybe it was just the feel but I loved wearing this outfit during the day as we strolled the streets of Venice so again I want to say this dress might have been 30 or so when I picked it up so check your local TJ Maxx to see if you can find it for yourself now this next outfit is another amazing choice for some kind of a daytime event to look very expensive and classy now I have to tell you this skirt I wore to Italy and I got more compliments from strangers and people in my tour group than I did with anything else I took to wear I love this skirt for several reasons and you'll see why in a minute it's a maxi skirt and it has kind of like a silk lining underneath and then on top of it is this very lightweight chiffon feeling material it is just so flowy when you walk and the wind blows it just swishes the skirt and it just adds that wow factor I even wore the same skirt out one night to dinner and we ended up maybe having just a little bit more wine with the group than than need be and yada yada and I ended up dancing to a polka song in front of a whole Terrace full of people [Music] a little yeah I did that I just want you to see like I'm a real person you know I do these crazy things too sometimes okay so today I decided to put this silk three-quarter length top with it this actually came from Lily silk and I want to say I got it in the spring it's a little bit more pricey but it's a very quality shirt that's going to be a classic in your closet for years I like the wider ribbing on the top and I like the tighter fit especially with a skirt like this I feel like something that you tuck into the skirt would look much better whether it be this kind of a top or a bodysuit or you could wear a white tank top like I did one night going out to dinner so there are a few options then I decided to put this necklace with it that I got from Nordstrom Rack just recently I just love the little beading going on here with a little blue and the gold and I like having a longer necklace sometimes because it does break up the solid color of a shirt or maybe even a dress for shoes you can kind of wear what you want with this dress because most of the time you're not going to see what shoes you're wearing with it anyway now because we were doing a lot of walking one day I wore with a pair of regular tennis shoes which they actually do in Europe quite a bit you'll see women all the time wearing their long flowy dresses or maxi dresses with a pair of tennis shoes for walking around that way they can feel comfortable but dressy most of the way down but you know wear maybe a wedge with it would look very classy maybe a kitten heel or maybe even a dressier pair of sandals I forgot to tell you the skirt came from Amazon and I will put the link to my Amazon storefront in my description box if you want to check the skirt out it came in several colors and you had other patterns to choose from as well but it's the same flowy material this skirt I want to say might have been 40 or 45 dollars but so a little bit on the pricier side but well worth it when you hear how many complicatements you're gonna get wearing the skirt now one thing to tell you because I I have gotten a lot of comments about this you say that when you click on my Amazon storefront link you only see a picture of a pair of sneakers black sneakers and a picture of one other item if you click that one other item whether you're looking at it on a phone or a desktop it should open up the file that has the more than 49 items are going to open up in my favorite category and it will you'll see the picture in the price and you click on each one it'll give you more information now we are in the final category of looking expensive just by wearing your jeans so the outfit that you're seeing is one of my favorites I just love this outfit I'm sure you're thinking Angela it's really just jeans and a t-shirt how can that look expensive well you just wait we are going to add on the layers and by the time that we're done you're going to see how you could look expensive even in just your jeans so to tell you about these two Basics the T-shirt just a plain v-neck t-shirt I picked up at Walmart for like five dollars and the jeans came from Amazon not too long ago I actually featured them in another video or two love these jeans I have them listed in my Amazon storefront under my favorites I like the heavier stitching on these jeans now some people might think that kind of thing is out but I don't know I I think I went without it for so long for so many years that I'm welcoming something different on my booty uh than just the plain stuff that I had before so for me I like it but you have to wear what makes you feel good I give you a lot of suggestions and that's really all they are are suggestions you have to take what you like that I'm showing you and leave what you don't because my videos can't be for every person on the planet they just can't so not everybody's gonna have my same style or agree with me on everything that I'm putting together and that's okay you're not supposed to right we're all individuals so back from the little rant love these jeans um they were like 35 or 40 dollars but I like the wash of the jeans and I like all that heavy stitching so the next thing we're going to add I'm going to add an animal print belt now I have a leopard print but you know what would also look good with this is probably a zebra print if you have one of those um just to add a little pop of something different to break up all the black and the Jean then I'm going to add this Blazer I mean who knew I had to wait 52 years before I would actually get myself to try a Blazer I mean that that really is ridiculous at least I did it at least I did it and I'm telling you what I love lasers so this one I got from Amazon and I like the uh lighter color because I can layer darker colors under it or I can put a white t-shirt underneath and it would look great too it's a nice basic to have in your closet but it also adding it to an outfit makes it look more expensive the next thing we're going to do is add a pop of pizzazz with our jewelry I'm going to add the necklace that I got from the Nordstrom anniversary sale by open edit I love the all the bead layers going on here it just adds some more classiness to it it makes it looks more expensive and then I'm going to add my gold diamond and animal print earrings it kind of all ties the outfit together doesn't it those were a dollar I ended up getting at Walmart amazing deal the last thing I'm going to add are my black booties that I picked up from Walmart not too long ago they're by Brinley and Co I want to say they were 35 or 40 dollars they are a perfect booty to have to wear with a lot of your jeans for fall and winter they're comfortable they have this really cool zipper detail along the side the heel is not too tall and ladies I am very I'm a stickler for that because if you start getting into that range where it's too tall I mean I can't even walk right so I want something comfortable but that's going to give me a little height at the same time so I paired those with this outfit and all together it really creates a jean outfit that still looks more on the
