“More Than Enough” Bishop T.D. Jakes (Powerful Word from God)

I won't take a lot of time with formalities I want to get directly into the Word of God I do have something that the Lord laid on my heart to share tonight in the Gospel of st. John chapter 6 verse 1 through 9 yes sir I feel at home here amen and with if he would stand for the reading on the Word of God that would really do it and I won't take a long time tonight but there are a couple of things in this very familiar almost apologetically familiar texts that I share with you tonight there are a couple of things of note that I think are significant and and it is always my prayer in my hope that God would speak to you even in the midst of this festivity then he would shine light on your life in some divine way that he would answer some question that you have laid before him that he would minister to you because those of you who are in the building often ministered as so many people how many ministers do we have in the house oh you hand up how many ministers Wow Wow you know what that's that's amazing but the truth is we're all ministers is just that we don't get in the water in the pulpits you know but we we're all ministering we're all serving every day every day often without the accolades and without the acknowledgement there are people who are drawing off for you every moment of your life when the woman with Asian blood touched Jesus he said the virtue went out everybody who's pulling on you takes something from you come on talk to me somebody everybody no matter how much you love them you love them below booboo you love little booboo little boob all their little google sweet little boo-boo budget booboo can be draining Mele and cookie in cousin Willy and grandma and Mama and all of them can can we be honest tonight they can be draining check this out in the Gospels in John chapter 6 verse 1 through 9 after these things Jesus went over the Sea of Galilee which is the sea of Tiberias and a great and a great multitude followed him because they saw his miracles which he did on them that were diseased and Jesus went up into the mountain and there he sat down with his disciples you see that everybody's following him and Jesus almost escaped to the mountains and there he sat with his disciples at the Passover and the Passover a feast of the Jews was 9 when Jesus then lifted up his eyes and saw a great company come unto Him he said under Philip when shall we buy bread that these may eat check this out and this he said to prove him for he himself knew what he would do yeah Philip answered him well you know money looking kind of funny we got about two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them it's not sufficient I don't have enough I don't I don't have enough have you ever felt like you didn't have enough to the hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them that every one of them may take a little if all of them get a little bit we're gonna run out it's always interesting when pastors and accountants talk pastors have big dreams and accountants have reality and it's it's it's a cultural war between the two of the pastor's saying thus saith the Lord the accountant is saying is not saying their bank that's what's going on here the dynamic the desire is to feed the multitude the reality is we don't have enough one of his disciples Andrew simon Peters brother saith unto Him there is a lad here which have five barley loaves and two small fish check this out but what are they among so many a subject tonight is more than enough let's pray father I invite you into this moment into this second I pray God that by your glory that you would just use me to be a blessing to somebody tonight I know that you are also fishing you are else and I know that you are more than enough but sometimes I feel like I'm not I pray God that you would show your sufficiency in the lives of every person in this room in the name of Jesus we pray somebody shout amen look somebody and say more than enough I think I I try to keep up with the times because I grew up at a time this really makes me sound whole I hate to start right here but I grew up at a time that innovation was an 8-track player and my mother bought this big console with with with with the television and the record player and the 8-track player and the radio was all in one and the hill the government would have talked about it was in the living room and and here's the thing about it mama made enough money that she could buy it but she couldn't run it and before they have remote control they had children we didn't have remote control we had kids so what they would do is tell you go over there and turn on the record player and turn on the 8-track and turn on everything we would cheap labor we were the first people that would work for food if you didn't work you didn't lean in so I was a remote control and I can remember murmuring and complaining and how in the world did you let yourself get behind where you have money enough to buy something and yet you don't know how to run it and because I can remember saying that I'm trying too hard not to become that but everything's moving so fast okay so I had to when I came up we had a party line and then then we had rotary phones and and then we finally got the cell phones the flip-top cell phones you you remember first there was some big ones and look like a suitcase in only rich people had it he ain't man you know you just looked at it and amazing who they got a fold cha know whatever they got a fold glory to God then they finally got it a little smaller where it was a flip top you know and and then they got a black bird CrackBerry everybody had a blackberry running around on the blackberry from their iPhone came along and then iPhone 1 and iPhone too and I found three and iPhone 4 and iPhone 5 and I followed up the six plus I got all the way to seven plus and I got mad I said I'm not going up not another number I'm serious I'm just I still got the seven plus can you believe it I don't know what it is a selective sting genus I'll spend money on some things but when I feel like you just pulling money out of me I get mad I say I'm not going to ain't nothing wrong with the seven plus is doing everything I needed to do if I can call you and takes you and get on the worldwide wave I'm good I download all kind of apps I don't need and the other thing is I don't need another way for another person to be able to reach me our world is our ability to access the world is so big now it is so big our world is so big and I know I sound like old fuddy-duddy but I don't think that that God meant for our world to be so big yeah wait on me I'm gonna make it make sense in a minute sociologically psychologically I don't think that it is healthy to have all of those people in your space all the time in your life in your head that's too many people as too many people with too many opinions and too many ideals had too much concept and it's absolutely crazy and I think that's why we're all stressed out and we're nervous and we can't sleep at night and our digestion is all and you got to take a pill for everything we have made G&C rich we could save a lot of money if we start putting people out of our lives is too crowded it's too much it's too loud it lasts too long 24 hours a day news coming at you around the clock I don't need to hear from you at 3 o'clock in the morning I need to go to bed I grew up with the six o'clock news she heard the news while you was eating dinner and that was it if they did get it in in an hour it didn't happen 24 hours are you telling me over and over and over the same thing again and again is privately grabbed by the only one but is there anybody else that is just sick and tired of this craziness have we lost our mind some of the people who comment on my stuff on Facebook and Twitter and Instagram come in in languages I can't even translate I don't even know whether to be happy that a beaten man I don't know whether to fight back I don't know whether they insulted me a glad and then I got people follow me or or in the hip hop family and the language is shamed other day they said I was trippin and I thought they met I was sweating I was mad all day cuz I thought they was making fun of me it was late at night and somebody told me dripping is good I thought they're making fun of me sweating as they they call me the drip and I was I was hot I said don't say nothing cuz I have to talk to myself I have to call myself in the counseling and have a prayer meeting with myself and tell myself don't flip out now cuz really there are 10 people in here and it depends on which one answers you what you gonna get one of us is a bishop the other one is a fool what about real people that I will talk to some real people tonight all you church will go home I want to talk to some real people tonight I want to talk to the people that you got another brother down inside of you you got to put him a lot cuz if he come out of control you will lose your job your life your wife your friends your family I have to lock him [Applause] I'm just being real with you there are over seven billion people on the planet we got more people on the planet than we ever have in the history of the world is crowded everything is crowded people on top of people we can't even get out of a city when there's a hurricane we run out of gas we can't go nowhere we can't move is crowded 6.8 billion people on the planet have a mobile device that's too many people out of seven billion 6.8 billion people got a phone I don't want to talk to you on any given day one point four billion people long or in the Facebook one point four billion people are in your phone right now waiting on you to say something that's a lot it used to be with you and your kids and your friends and your little church with with the little wood floor and the Mahalia Jackson fan and only two or three people could sing in the church and you knew each other you knew everybody's mama and you had a relationship with everybody now you got friends that you don't know followers that you never met come on talk to me somebody all of them got an opinion about everything we got more people but we got less peace we got more crowds you can talk to somebody wake up at 3 o'clock in the morning and talk to somebody over in the East Stand Bowl and we feel lonely how could you have that many people in your pocketbook and still be lonely we were not designed for me something that's crazy more people doesn't mean more quality we've lost sight of what relationships they are we use people's name the prey can justify look at how many followers I got they're not following you they don't know you they don't like you that's not what you look like anyway you like the Brigid bark in the picture took your waist ear bill Cho chest up you ain't that cute they don't know you [Applause] I like babies anyway I like babies I like babies I like babies I like babies I like little cute babies with fat jaws who can't talk you eat what I say you go eat burp you and go to bed kids are cute till they can talk then they got an opinion about I don't wanna win and I don't like that they might win that that's honest are you got all of these opinions and all of these people and it's not just that they have an opinion about them they got an opinion about you everybody got an opinion about you and the people with the strong and civilians about you don't even know you to say go unfollow you like I can did that pay a bill did that pay the rent does that matter to me how did that bruise me to say give me a disease if you unfollowed me well I feel a pain in my neck we're inundated with people and opinions and ideas and images around the quad you can have any kind of news you want to hear if you change stations pick out the truth you like 24 hours of watching people try out 24 hours of watching an earth K 24 hours all of those images are still living in your head when you close your eyes that's why everybody's strung out on all kind of drugs I'm not just talking about in the hood I'm talking about some of you professional people smelling all good makeup or you look lonely everything in your medicine cabinet because the more people can access you the more they think they have a right to you I don't like your hair like that you don't look good in that color that's too tight on you people got their mouth all in your eyes and sometimes by the time you use your strips that it takes to withstand all of these people that you're never gonna meet anyway you don't have enough left for the people that are in your life so they really don't get your attention because you're dealing with all of these superficial really it don't matter people so you're sitting at the dining room table and you can't eat without your phone and you're not talking to the people that cook the food or bought the food or paid for the food no you talking to somebody that you will never meet know or care about [Applause] there's something to be said about small groups and intimacy and where you pay attention and where you have real conversation and you have real connectivity sometimes people are overwhelming they want more and more and more and more there's not a person in this room who doesn't have somebody in your life who's not complaining because you're not there enough or you don't call enough or you don't text enough or you didn't come see me or you didn't do this or you missed my birthday are you miss Halloween or you don't act like a user I and we are overwhelmed because the people who make the biggest withdrawals make the least deposits the truth of the matter is were surrounded by people who need us not people who feed us and after a while you find yourself operating in the red in my text tonight I want to talk about this this miracle that makes no sense this this is one of the few miracles in the Bible that make no sense most of the time that Jesus performed a miracle it was a crisis a blind man a man who was lame from his mother's womb a woman who is hemorrhaging to death these were real miracles that touched diseases and lives and set them free and because he changed lives he drew crowds any time you're effective you don't have to advertise it much all you should shout me down right there anytime you got to oversell the product there's something wrong with because the people need it if they will come get it Jesus was so effective that people followed him because he was effective and he set them up he had just landed and come across the Sea of Galilee and they followed him he goes up in the mountaintops and talks to his disciples and while he's talking to the disciples the crowds are building and people are wanting more and more and more and more and what's amazing to me is all he had to do was say go home this is not a crisis nobody's bleeding to death and nobody's sick they're just hungry I only had to do was say I'll see you tomorrow but this is an opportunity for Jesus to teach his disciples a lesson he wants them to understand that there are going to be contradictions in your life that there's going to be more demand than there is supply he wants to train them how to operate when you're working at a deficit I want to talk to somebody tonight in spite of all your clapping and all of your joy and all of your singing and I know you could felt the joy of the Lord when they were singing up here I could feel it all the way down in the basement hiding in the closet where they had me under the toothbrush [Applause] I wouldn't shout it but I hit my head and hurt myself and when you get in church and you get this great singing and you get this great music and you get all of this great stuff going you feel good and for an hour or so you forget [Applause] that when this is over you got to go back home and you tell me you can't even wait til it's over you check in your phone now to see who you need to take back cuz you can't even have a worship experience without responsibility of responding to people 24/7 before you start your car you open up your phone and start answering people like they gonna die if you don't answer then they not gonna die somebody's help this is too much this is the depth of creativity because we don't have the database in our head to hold all of these situations and be creative and so our creativity is diminishing and so our divorces are escalating and our children are less literate and our compassion is decreasing and we're not developing the ability when was the last time we created stuff for the first 200 years of this country we created all kind of stuff now we just copy and paste what other people did there's no original thought because your brain is tired I want to talk to somebody tonight until I shake you loose from the clutches of the enemy [Applause] you cannot be creative in a fog in a stress lambs give birth sheep give birth in calm places he needed me beside the still waters when was the last time you spend any time in a calm and stable place you can figure out how to get out of debt you can figure out how to pay off your home you can figure out how to bring love back into your marriage you can figure how to deal with your child if you cut off your phone you can't be creative cuz you tire what do you know when they keep wanting more and more and more and more and you love them enough to give it but the truth of the matter is you don't have enough this text argues the difference between ideals and reality the ideals are I want to be there for you the reality is we only have two hundred pence and what I said against so many and so Philip it's telling Jesus if we try to feed them all of them if we give all of them a crumb we're gonna run out and so you start giving people crumbs that deserve loaves and you wonder why they leave and you wonder why they faint and you wonder why our families can't stay in the storm and why our marriages can't go through a test and you wonder why people have changed six churches in three years cuz we don't have enough if Jesus felt about you come out of him when that woman touched him don't you sit there and act like you don't feel the virtue go out of you when people keep reaching out and calling you and asking you for lord I need help move it I need you to come move me I need you to come see about so I need you to come over here I need you to go over there have you been to see your mama lately have you call your grandma any call your sister you're not keeping up with your sister what about what about to be mother your job you need to come over there even zip and all of a sudden we recognize the ideals are I really do love big enough but the reality is I'm running out [Applause] and so Philip is trying to give Jesus the facts the facts are I don't have another can I tell you this story the first time I did I went to potters house to Pastor I was used to pastoring in a small church where I did everything and I ran everything I had a little staff I preached all the funerals I did all the weddings I did everything when I got to potters house and we looked up and we had ten thousand people in a year I couldn't do all the funerals I couldn't I couldn't do any more I couldn't do any more I was frustrated cuz I think I'm good at it I think I'm good at its service to the family and being compassionate and being loving two times the grief I like to give that out I'm called or hurting people I like to be able to do that and I'm driving around I've delegated people to do funerals but I'm literally driving around in circles around my church frustrated cuz I want to go in there do the funeral so bad cuz I don't think they're gonna do it right now I don't think they're gonna handle it right and I'm driving around in circles and I'm trying to break my old proclivity of doing everything myself and I realized this is the benchmark between growth and failure is the changing of systems and if I don't pass this test I'm going to thwart the growth of my church because I'm used to doing everything myself and I'm literally driving around in circles with tears in my eyes because I got control issues okay I said and I said it in front of everybody I said it okay I got cut and about my fifth lap around the church the Lord spoke to me and said I finally put you in a position where you can't give them you maybe now you'll give them me I set you up on purpose I meant for you to be overwhelmed I meant to put you in a situation where you wouldn't have enough I am trying to make you understand TD jakes that you are a limited resource and no matter how much you love people you cannot be there for everybody and I want you to forgive yourself for not having enough because the weight and the pressure is on every last one of us to be more than enough and the truth of the matter is you don't have enough and the Lord was trying to teach me if you maintain the mentality of your storefront though I put you in a bigger place you will lose back down to the level of your leadership because you you are not a big enough thinker to incorporate a system to subsidise the fact that you are a limited resource and yes you have the passion but you don't have enough product and yes you have the love but you don't have enough resources and this this situation you must see this problem this dilemma that we're talking about in the text but what blew my mind about it is this didn't just happen Jesus set them up he said what are they gonna eat and the Bible says this he has him having already known God intentionally will put you in a position of being overwhelmed so that you can discover him how many people in this room have ever been overwhelmed stand up on your feet stand up on your feet if you feel like you're overwhelming if you feel like people are pulling at you and poking at you and calling you and asking you for more and more and more and more and more and more while you are standing on your feet I want you to just go ahead and say I am not enough I'm okay with that I accept that but I have a God who is more than enough praise him right where you are yes yes yes yes I relieve you of the stress of being everything to everybody all the time I've released you to let go of the burden and the guilt and the shame that you carry for the marriage that didn't work and for the childless feel accusing you because he didn't show up somewhere you are not on the present you can't be everywhere I command you to release it and let it go and the choice in the [Applause] walk over to somebody take them by the hand and say I love you but I'm gonna disappoint you I'm gonna let you down sometime I'm gonna get on you there sometime I'm gonna miss your signals I won't always respond OQ but if you can handle it we can make it that's what a real relationship is all about that's what it takes in order to be able to survive - you've been delivered from a lot of things but tonight you're gonna be delivered from people accusations and their pain open your mouth [Music] you've lost yourself trying to be everything everybody but I want you to start shaking yourself a loose right now everybody decide to be yourself sit down I'm almost I would feel something in this place I feel something in this place I feel something in this place I don't know who I'm talking to but I'm talking to somebody tonight I feel the spirit of release in this place I feel it releasing in this place I break the guilt and the condemnation that you've hidden in your heart maybe it was my fault maybe he left me cuz I'm not woman enough devil is alive ain't nobody gonna be enough for some people wounded people are firstly that rather they say always warm or let it go break me get your joy by get your peace [Applause] people always want to blame you for their dysfunction you are not the Messiah you are not God what present but I hope you get this [Applause] I can feel peanuts fleeing the wrong I can feel screech a heaviness breaking in this room right now I can feel yolks breaking and chains falling off I can feel it comes falling in the floor I can feel God destroying yokes and a bit on you for you guilty about your mama just about your brand mama you didn't make it to the hospital for she died you are not Jesus he'll take me everywhere [Applause] [Music] Jesus created a problem for them to discover their limitations yeah maybe crazy yeah some of you have the only God knows the things you whisper to him in prayer and the guilt and the pain that you carry for things that happen in people who got sick of people who died and people who walked away and children who stuck their finger in your face and say you weren't there for me and he was busy trying to do everything you could and you have carried that killed and you've danced over it and you shouted over it but when you go home you lay down with it every night but the night is your life tonight this your breakthrough night tonight this your deliverance night that night is tonight that the yolk breaks in your life and I don't care if anybody else gets a breakthrough you need to go for yourself tonight and break that chain that's been old your neck God is not finished with you yet God wants to use you in a mighty way God has a plan for your destiny Shantanu boy ride [Applause] so they told him their bookkeeper told him we only have two hundred pennyworth and though that's not a bad amount it's not enough for the demands that are on me right now take a minute for me and just think about how much is expected of you I mean let's leave Church and let's go to Starbucks and you and me and sit down have a latte and let's talk about how many people expect stuff from you [Applause] [Music] truth is I'm tired truthy can we just be honest can you just be honest for a minute until the truth is I'm tired I'm tired of people out love compressor slanted out a little I'm tired now you know if I'm tired of people I love I'm tired of people that got my DNA and got big lips like me and a wide flat nose and I love them and I'm still tired of people I love so you know you choke us I don't know don't stand but I know you don't sit there and look at me funny like I'm the only one who gets tired of people that you love baby can you be here daddy can you come there daddy can you go over there you my brother got my brother be there what's wrong with you you ain't call me intimidate you all right [Applause] [Music] [Applause] Jesus often does things to make us take inventory to count what you have so you can make better decisions to not overextend yourself and commit to more people to do more things than what you are physically able to do he says count up what do you have he said we got two hundred pennyworth and then they came in but Sarah wait a minute there is there is a little boy he just got two fish and five loaves of bread what is what is it see when when you run out you get desperate and not her down to snatch in the kids lunch that's hungry when you go snatch the kids lunch you won't take the lunch from the look get the luncheon mama backed him we look greasy bag you know that's kind of lunch we had cuz we couldn't always afford lunch boxes like the rich kids we hate greasy bags with leftovers in them become less happy they come out the school bus yellow school bus you know they come out with the thermos and all that kind of stuff we come out with aluminum foil you Begbie all greezy now they will smash the little kids lunch to Tricia five loaves of bread seven articles that's all it was in the bag two fish five loaves of bread I counted it is seven articles and then the question that has is what is that against so many seven is completeness you got to get a whole before you can help anybody you gotta be whole you you gotta be okay you you gotta be hole so you can help anybody until you get seven in your bag you can't serve nobody else you gotta have seven in your bag minimum requirement for miraculous situation is you gotta be whole on the inside on the inside down inside of you you gotta be cool stop preaching over top of pain and singing over top of pain and reach it over the top of problems and helping people while you bleeding to death we believe in God that somebody goes sense it and rescue you there you go sense nothing they gonna abuse you till you pass out and die they treat you like you treat yourself you gotta stop people and say wait a minute I gotta go back and get myself together so I can help you I can't help nobody else till I'm okay and I'll only be enough when I reach that seven that completion that wholeness that Sabbath that resting in my soul not eaten by ambition or greed or lead or trying to prove something to your sister or your mother-in-law and all of that sick stuff that we do trying to measure up to what your brother-in-law bought for his wife and all of that stuff where you overspent because you have low self-esteem and you want your wife to have a new coat too and you've been paying on the coat for 12 years the coat is falling apart and you are still making payments on the coat this is beautiful churches of wonderful judges amazing church and it's a great Church and it's it's just fabulous and it's wonderful if you've got people but if you just build it so that you can keep up with the Joneses ego puts us in situations of stress and pressure and anxiety and some of it is the pressure that we have to live up to people who aren't going to love you anyway so I want to strip you down to your lunch to your two fish and your five loaves of bread and tell you I know it looks little and I know it seems insufficient and and when they brought the lunch they said what is this against so many and you are saying what am i against so many and Jesus says I will unlock the miracle of you I will take your not enough and make it more than enough if you will present it into my hands and the Bible says he took it thank you Lord for taking my not enough even though I was limited and even though I failed and even though I let people down and even though my life is full of giants that are all bigger than me thank you for accepting my little to fish and my little five loaves of bread thank you for not rejecting me I couldn't take another rejection thank you for accepting my talent I will never be able to sing like Israel I can't sing like him I can't even pantomime like him I'll never be able to write a song like that I can't say I'll never be able to thank you for taking my rasping country old school voice and sending it around the world because I gave you what I had I didn't allow myself to be worried about what I didn't have I just gave you what I had oh my god I don't know who I'm talking to but the Lord said if you will give him what you got you'd be surprised what God will do with you a little bit with your little bit with my list with my country shell you'd be surprised how God will take what's in your bag grease and all and send it to the nations and use it around the world and I rebuke every devil that ever made you feel bad because you didn't measure up to somebody else God said I'm gonna pick what's in your little bag and I'm gonna make it more than enough I'm gonna make you so so that I'm gonna blow your mind glory to God touch three people say you don't know what you got you don't know what you got you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know you don't know what you got the devil doesn't want you to know what you got didn't ever want you to feel inferior and then completed and sufficient but I rebuke that devil I'm gonna run him out of the door right now cause I want you to open that back door I release every spirit that ever held you down that ever told you you didn't have any worth that you'll never be anything you would do it again open that door I cast them out in the name of Jesus I want three minutes of crazy a Holy Ghost supernatural praise [Applause] [Music] open your mouth this is your break to vomit open your mouth open it up [Music] [Applause] God is getting ready to blow your mind what he does with what you've got your talent your steel your ability your ministry your preaching your knowing thing your gift God's gonna use what's in your bag [Applause] shop for what he died you [Applause] see most of the time in church were shouting over somebody else's give somebody saying you happy somebody played you happy somebody preach you happy tonight I want you to shop for what God gave you [Applause] Shou pill held it service shout kill demons trouble shall kill yokes are broken shout till curses are shaken [Applause] [Applause] one over touch seven people and say I can do this seven seven people I can do this seven people and when you get to the seven person [Applause] I dare you to praise Emma demons a triplet right now hell is gonna miss right now [Applause] [Applause] so Center your feet so the Lord said let me break it down for you if you will give me you are not enough I'm gonna make you more than enough I'm gonna do a miracle in your life that you are not gonna run out are you ought to shout me down right now you are not gonna run out you don't have to be tired and exhausted and angry and snapping at people God says I am going to strengthen what you got and so [Music] [Applause] I think i'ma get this message myself every time I'm stressed out I'm gonna play it in the car so so watch this remain standing so I'm just 2 minutes chef Godwin wrote this book smallest a new big small is the new big big is out of style stop asking for being small is the new big and I would have thought that it was just something that self said to be talking but I notice a pattern in Scripture that almost every miracle in the Bible happy with small a pot of oil a handful of meal two fish and five loaves of bread God never did ask for big he's not looking for big people big important self-righteous uppity as my grandma would say persnickety people small is the new big so when they went when they gave Jesus to fish in the five loaves of bread he said no no let me show you the miracle isn't it being even smaller so he said if you give me your gift let me break it down for you you were always enough but I needed to break it down for you and he took it and he blessed it the Lord said if you'll give me what you got I'll take it and I'll bless it you'll never be enough in your own strength not for yourself not for your companion not for your children not for your parents not for your job you'll never be enough but if you give it to me I'll bless it and I'll break it down for you because that you're poor and you are a winner and and not only will I give you to the world they're gonna have leftovers tonight pastor Jenkins I dedicate this message to you and I want to tell you why because you go to pastors conferences and sit in the back in blue jeans and write on your iPad and never ask for VIP see because most of the time most of the time in any crowd you have the biggest Church and you have the smallest demands because you are good to everybody you help anybody because you serve in silence and in secret and pour out of yourself to everybody all the time because you never come in and try to be important you've never done it you've never done it you've never complained because your name wouldn't call I've seen guys with far less make so much noise they are so big with so little because you made it look good to be small and so self Godwin was right it's not in the Hall of the crowds and the entourages and all of the adjectives and all of the dis and all of that and all of the other you showed us something we have not seen in the kingdom in a long time [Music] you you drive yourself you come in in simplicity you never make a fuss in all the years I have known you I have never ever heard you complain about anything ever not yes I have seen gods in storefronts lock you down getting to the front I've seen you show up at meetings and I didn't even know you were there because you were back in the corner somewhere taking notes with your head down and your and your handkerchief mouth and your tears rolling down your face thanking God that he would take your two fish and five loaves of bread and do all of this and when your wife called me and asked when I come on I had to come I had to come because small is a new big keep on doing small it looks good on you it looks so good on me join hands with everybody leave no one untouched I found out that the smallest people need to be big and so they always fussing make a lot of demands because they're insecure it's not that they're bad people they're just insecure but when you're big enough to be smallest because you feel safe enough not to be intimidated and if God took a handful of meal and a pot of oil and two fish and five loaves of bread maybe we should stop praying to be big if the miracle is in the pieces maybe we should ask God to make a small because the Word of God said when you were small in your own eyes I blessed you when you were small enough to help people it's small enough to open the door and small enough to lift away that's small enough to serve somebody I bless you so tonight small listen to me we dedicate this night to you sir and you're 60 years of shining bright from your little corner building massive cathedrals and saying nothing I saw him yesterday he came to hear me preach at another church he's never even mentioned anything about his birthday at all he didn't say nothing and I ran out the door for I messed up and said too much [Applause] by god bless ya I'm dripping I gotta go home I know I used to wrong work when they were this little thought tonight rolled out of the heart of God to correct some of us who are beside ourselves sometimes we take ourselves too seriously come on come on come on come on come on come on don't wait till you get sick no wait - you almost died and realize you ain't so such II might just just chill a minute and for those of us who feel stretched to the breaking point and we feel overwhelmed God will take your pieces you're enough you're enough mama for that child I know they got down syndrome but you you enough mama you enough daddy for that child who's in trouble and driving you crazy and I know you didn't have a father yourself but if you'll take your pieces brother and give them to God God will get in your fragments and your to fish in your five loaves of bread and he'll make a daddy out of somebody who never even handed daddy and he'll show you and you're gonna figure it out you don't figure it out because God is gonna break it down for you squeeze that hand you're holding right now God has created a situation to show himself strong in your life he already knows the answer before he's asked you the question don't panic this is just a test in a controlled environment for you to find out what you got you got this squeeze that have you got this I know it looks like it's out of balance and it looks like you're overwhelmed and it looks like there are more that I get you than there are for your answer all right you got this if you give you a little bit yourself over to God God is gonna stretch you like you've never been stretched before [Music] [Applause] father tonight if we pray that night not pray that you would lift burdens and destroy yokes that you would loose a bound and set the captive free where we're to hide that you would humble us down where we're insecure that you would pump us up and give us courage whatever we stand in need of today that you administer to us right where we are Holley Lilia to God I thank you for your presence moving up and down now right now I thank you for your glory in this place thank you for your glory in this place I thank you for your glory in this place be glorified in this place be magnified in this place let your presence be known in this place I pray God that not one person would leave here in guilt and condemnation not one not one not one not another day not another day not another day not wrestling another night taking the fault of everything and everybody and blaming yourself for stuff you're not God let yourself go this is your get-out-of-jail-free day get out of jail free today the Lord you are the God that is more than enough you are there all sufficient one you are the one that destroys yolks and bondages that loose is so bound and sets a captive free and I pray you be glorified in this place in a supernatural way in Jesus name Amen I want you to say I know we normally plac wait wait wait wait wait wait wait I know we normally clap I know we normally do that but I want you to lift your hands and I want you to open your mouth to God and I want you to praise him out of your mouth praise them out of your mouth [Music] praise him out of your mouth praise them out of your mouth praise him out of your mouth [Applause] phrase them out of your mouth if we spoke to you in any kind of way if you're feeling and loving on your right now if you're feeling lifted up your little crazy bang and said you're you're enough you and me you're enough together we can do this give him the praise and the honor and the glory yeah all magnify the Lord with me and let us exalt his name together [Applause] yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yes talk to me Jesus break it down for me Jesus show me what a cat that I've been looking over that I didn't realize that I had break it down for me Jesus stop me from controlling everything
