I want to spend my [Music] people spen [Music] hila hard that [Music] in the world people [Music] hello and welcome to Friday night family worship honey isn't this an exciting program sure yes I'm happy to be here we're glad that you have joined us too we just we're exciting we just got started the topic is gonna be phenomenal what's the topic honey it's about end time events that's right the time of the end and all you need is a Bible if you want to have a pen that's up to you but gather your family around at Sabbath it's time for family worship and we have a great panel with us today why don't you introduce our panel sure it's my right your left we have Donald Janelle sitting right here and Donal Owen they've been married for how long now going on 11 just celebrated 21 years don't mess it up now known as marriage we always count our dating anniversary two eyes so we've been together 21 but married for almost 11 Wow yeah it took a long time to ask her have you both thank you graphic publishing right and pastoral department and personal ministries for the church yeah and and and you a great team together glad to have you both thank you for having if we said how long we've been dated either man okay that will remain anonymous nine years we dated we'll only 16 so that was kind of like you don't to rush and get married at 16 it's not gonna go away anytime sweetheart but now we're going on don't say it they're gonna figure out our age to your left Brian Dickens I was so glad to have you here thank you the manager of and the programming manager of 3abn I had been here for a couple of years almost a year and a half now two years ago I probably would have never dreamed that I was doing the job that I am now I be able to work with all the different ministries to help put everything together for it to be aired on you know throughout the network's that we do I try it it has just been a wonderful blessing to be able to work for you know God's ministry in this way and by the way his position is so important we do programs but if Brian doesn't schedule it correctly digitally and in computer and put all that information it's just not gonna happen and you have a wonderful team that helps you but much it falls on your shoulder a great group of ladies that are with me right now in the department and without them you know without them and God's guidance we would not be able to do it I try yeah and he's also selling Steen's husband Dean have a beautiful wife and we're glad to have you both here as a team in our church definitely a blessing to be able to do everything that we can for the ministry amen and over here we have our wonderful friend my sister in the Lord Donna which way Donna Berg but um we known you have done against when you were here yes since been married and moved on to Phoenix and but we're happy to have you here today with us and she's always she's always filled with a lot of wisdom that's why I wanted Donna to be here on our set with us so thank you for being here Donna well it's by the power of the Holy Spirit that we have wisdom it's nothing of our own it isn't at all so I'm thankful to be here it's a blessing I'm glad to be on the set here too thank you that's right and honey would you have prayer for us before we go any further sure let's bow our heads as we approach the throne our kind and gracious Heavenly Father we bow before your awesome prayers and we are so grateful for Jesus where would we be without you for Calvary for the ultimate sacrifice now father's we about to start this family worship we invite your Holy Spirit here to be with us to just enlighten our minds give us wisdom and understanding where we like and Lord those who are watching this program may they be blessed also and we thank you for what you're going to do in Jesus name Amen mm-hmm once again the topic is the time of the end you know what's nice about the time of the end is this horrible world has to come to an end yes all that we've been going through the pain the heartache and the reason I titled at the time of the end is because there are certain references in the Bible that particularly pertain to the time of the end in other words you wouldn't know about these things a hundred years ago 200 years ago thousand years ago these were all I'm gonna use a big word here prognosticated mmm that will happen at the time year that's simply a broadcast or a prediction of the time of the end and which means these signs could not appear at any other time other than the time of the end they're like mile markers you know if you start a journey in Florida and you hit Texas and you see 880 that means at some numerology of left in Texas there was a mile markers and so we're going to talk about some mile markers some quite eye-opening mile markers and the beautiful thing about that in a summary each one of these mile markers point us to the imminent return of Jesus mm-hmm so let's go ahead and look at one I'm gonna give each one of you an opportunity but since my lovely wife is right to my left all right and ask a question and we're going to look at a book that most people know where to find Habakkuk I'm back from a black that's one of those books people say Habbakuk I always they have a back up chapter 2 verse 3 and according to the Bible here's the question according to the Bible what are we told about signs assigned to the end all right for the vision is yet for an appointed time but at the end it will speak and it will not lie though it tarries wait for it because it will surely come it will not tarry okay so what do we get out of that happen divisions for the point of time what do we get out of that I just look at this there yeah there's things that happen in sequence or its current like events that happened and predict a time when I thought about this just a little bit ago I was thinking about when Jesus if you reading Daniele he died on the cross at a point in time that's right so it's kind of worked on well there's a point of times for things that happen so that kind of spoke to me the idea of Terry you know if you think of revelation 14:12 here is the patience patience you have to be patient and they will reveal them we were talking earlier and I was asking him about the second part of that verse this says though it tarries wait for it because it will surely come it will not tarry so it's saying it it tarries but then it will not tarry okay so we were I was asking him a little so what does that mean because I was actually a little confused on it and I think that that means it's just my understanding is it'll happen when it's supposed to happen no will you know see it as it's tearing but it actually comes when it's supposed to happen because it's all in God's time exactly and of course whenever it says at the end it will speak and it will not lie mm-hmm we know if we know the Bible so well you know when the end time comes that we will be familiar with what's going to happen and that it is true and it's not a lie at that time you know that whenever it does come we will know yeah you know we don't know exactly how it's going to come when it comes we know it's the it is the time didn't Daniel talk about that that's right at the time yeah at the time of the end knowledge will increase Daniel 12 is this time everything is time and when you pointed that out Galatians 4:4 when the fullness of time had come so everything has a timetable to it and that's beautiful because a lot of times Christians today I recently spoke to somebody who said well the coming of the Lord could be any moment now and I said well let me encourage you you're not gonna he's not coming tomorrow although we don't know the day you'll know the hour Jesus is not coming tomorrow because one of the beautiful things about prophecy in Habakkuk is a minor prophet is there are events that wort read that have been established as a mile marker it's like getting in your car here in the Illinois and say we can be in California tomorrow yeah well Donald she's gonna stand up all night long it's not gonna happen but if you it though it tarries wait for it yeah so it's on its way be patient that's what's it actually being said it's coming but don't be in a hurry and when it gets here it will not lie and it will surely come something you spoke on it made me think of the 1844 you know they all thought that and he saw around the world the message was just lighting up the world they thought surely Jesus was coming then but they missed the event I got the message but they missed the event the event was of course Christ going to most holy place with us we're saying the idea of tearing they thought well here he's coming he's coming yeah it comes in his time and for me Bible prophecy has made confirmed for me that God's Word is true and that it you know what he says has happened and will happen and is that happening actually but it's just for me that confirmed the truth of God's Word is Bible prophecy and he lets us know what's coming next because He loves us surely he will do nothing except he reveals the secrets mm-hmm very good point but also is saying to us another thing is right now it doesn't make sense but when it comes it will not lie mmm it's gonna make sense mm-hmm so there are many people today that are throwing our predictions or pastors today are saying things that say that again you're gonna be raptured they say mmm so all of this we won't live it we won't be here to see all these things happen we'll be secretly wrap that's another deception there isn't it yeah oh and we're gonna find out about how these things come to play matter fact I was speaking to a general or a Jewish gentleman recently yes a very wonderful conversation I had with him I was at an event and he was there and I was checking out of the cash register and and I said to him hey I keep the Sabbath you keep this happen yeah I don't need unclean foods and neither do you he said why not I said because I'm a Bible believer hey so am i I said but I believe the whole Bible he said well I believe the Old Testament we had a wonderful conversation about Jesus about the coming of Jesus and I so I shared with him some of the things in the New Testament said well we don't believe in the New Testament we just stick with the Old Testament and I said however on that note read Daniel 9 verse 24 to 27 which outlines from the time the command goes to rebuild Jerusalem under the Messiah the prince here's a particular time pray I said read that and he said to me I was surprised he said I haven't heard that before so I gave him my business card I said read that and if he want to get in touch with me he says but Christianity Christianity and soul is just so showbiz it's just so fake is there so much I said oh great degree you're right he said I said but I said but not every Christian is that way mm-hmm and so I said but so there has to be some accuracy in the Bible so when these things happen we will know that it's going to take place but um but now with all that said with all those secret rapture and all these strange teachings about the endtime how does the Bible explain the prevalence of these endtime doctrines false doctrines let's look at the the second scripture here the first Timothy chapter 4 verse 1 if anybody has that they can read that on the syllabus number 2 but on a paper there you know it's not on the paper guys yeah Timothy 4 verse all right I'll get to it okay oh maybe somebody else get yeah Brian could read that and we'll get it down on another one yeah now the spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons wow look at that let's just break that down for a moment a couple of points jumped out at me mm-hmm a couple of points jumped out at me was the spirit expressly says that in the latter times some will depart from the faith what does that mean they kind of burn out they had to be in the faith to depart from it yeah believers yeah probably didn't have a true love for the Lord why would you leave the Lord why would you leave what you know you know well if you know the Lord why would you leave him well I think that what is saying is maybe they didn't know that maybe they knew about the Lord exactly some people leave because they know about the Lord but they don't know the Lord right like let's use an example how many of us know about the name of our vice president mm-hmm you know about him but do we know him well I know our presence but do we know him so are we talking about the idea of a relationship what do we have that you have to have most deep loving relationship for mm-hmm and like it says it says giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons hmm you're also I mean not only is your love being swayed from God but you're being deceived of your what you think your love is to God when you start having your thoughts and expressions being turned and you know being taught of different doctrines and things and then you think you know am i truly loving the Lord in this way and then you start thinking well maybe I should do it this way it's those deceiving spirits and everything got to look out for and you got to be weary of and make sure that you're not being you know in tempted and run into that teaching you know whole entire doctrines of demons people are led astray with a new doctrine or another doctrine and it's not truly the Word of God Satan brought one third of the Angels that's right out with him and so but a doctrine of demons doctrine we know we know that it's not the truth but what's it what's default if you look at two words in this entire passage what two words causes that person to become a victim of what they hear giving and departing yes look at what happened to Eve what what was what was her problem right giving he at that point she just said yes and I'm out of here yeah giving heed the moment and these deceiving spirits introduced deceiving spirits introduced doctrines of devils right I was just thinking as Donna as you were talking I was thinking about how Satan likes to send us on rabbit trails and you know a lot of the things even are within our own church that you know come up that you know I I feel like sometimes I want to be informed but I don't want to go so far to the into understanding particular things that Satan takes me off I just want to know a general what's it about kind of thing because I feel like Satan can just send us down those Brad at trails just like that like Oh what's you know curiosity you know you know that expression you made me think of Romans 1:25 this is happening so prevalent they exchanged the truth of God for a lie and worshiped and serve their own reasoning incensed so they were served the creature rather than the Creator so they end up giving their own reasoning right yeah and what happens professing themselves to be wise what happens so what happens when you turn away from what you know you can give heed to deceiving spirits and then all of a sudden these doctrines and this is a powerful word they use Paul uses the word doctrines because here's some people that say oh I don't believe in doctrines well you know why you don't believe in doctrines because those are doctrines of demons mm-hmm they say they think the word doctrine is the problem a lot of believe in doctrines I don't know just worshipped at all I don't take doctrines no if it's in the Bible anything in the Bible the word doctrine simply is the Greek word for teaching yeah what is the Bible teaching about a particular topic so if you say I don't want that doctrine you're rejecting what the Bible is teaching yeah so if you reject what the Bible is teaching because you think that what you're being taught may say well it differs from what somebody else teaches then you're wide open as what's the saying Donna if you don't stand for something you'll fall for everything you have a point I see you want to make a point on this one well I've didn't I've done that I've been there I have done that and you know when I came into the truth I was in awe you know John the Revelator was in awe at times of what he saw the deceptions I was in all of the deceptions that I had not known that I was in yeah so when like when you come into the truth you can truly celebrate that and embrace that so this table is made up of people that oh mine didn't know the truth we went if you saw us before in the spirit realm we would be as hobos on the street who knew nothing nothing but God came and he straightened out the picture and he made things right the idea of doctrine even in the Bible said that all these people listen to Jesus they're astonished at his doctrine I think that's important people don't realize you know like you mentioned the teaching because he was teaching something I was bringing them healing I was reeling sending him free from these demons demonic foe it's a really powerful thought you know also if you look at second Thessalonians a very next verse the very next text it tells you why they would deceive now here's a point that you have to keep in mind you don't just get to see because you want to be deceived you know I don't think there are many crew of any Christians that says please deceive me I don't I mean that's just that's kind of ludicrous to say you're a Christian and you want to be deceived well look you had a story honey you all I do okay I see the good show you know the story of Little Red Riding Hood okay yeah okay you know she went through this is the Grimm's and parrots version and you know she had her red cape and her hoodie and everything when she walked through the woods to look to deliver food to her sickly grandmother and in the Grimm's version her mother ordered that she stay on the path do not leave the path and the big bad wolf wants to eat the little girl and the food in the basket so he secretly stalks her behind the bushes and the shrubs and patches of little tall grasses he approaches a little is my me Satan he approaches Little Red Riding Hood who naively tells him where she is going he suggests that the girl picked some flowers as a present for her grandmother which she does in the meantime he goes to the grandmother's house gains entry by pretending to be the girl the little girl he swallows the grandmother whole yeah and in some stories he locks her in the closet okay and when the girl arrives she noticed that her grandmother looks very strange and what did Little Red Riding Hood say what a deep voice you have the better to greet you responds the wolf goodness what big eyes you have the better to see you with and what big hands you have two better to grab and eat you with responds the wolf at that point the wolf jumps out of the bed and eats her up too then he falls asleep and so the moral of the story is the moral of the story is don't leave the path mm-hmm if she didn't leave the path she would not have seen it yes okay the lad he says we are pleased from last day events it says we are approaching the last events page 155 we are approaching the end of this Earth's history and Satan is working as never before he is striving to act as director of the Christian world with an intensity that is marvelous he is working with his lying wonders Satan is represented as walking about as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour kind of like a the wall in the story he desires to embrace the whole world in his Confederacy hiding his deformity under the garb of Christianity he assumes the attributes of a Christian and claims to be Christ himself but but it says the world the word declares that when it suits the enemy's purpose he will through his agencies manifest a great power under a pretense of Christianity that if it were possible he would deceive even the elect but he won't be able to deceive the elect possible praise God for that man you know something I was touching me as I watched a movie as a kid I remember Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer claymation anyways I did this in a sermon once and it blew people away and it's the Lord brought this to my remembrance there was a scene where these Rudolph Ennis Yukon and everything they landed some Lane of misfit toys and then they take him to see the kingdom land and misfits take them to see the king and it's a lion sitting on a white throne and it's white sanctuary we're gonna call it he's got wings on either side and a golden crown I said now you remember anybody in the Bible it was a lion with wings do you remember what that was and I said oh my are you kidding me I didn't know that so you know the enemy so so but he's claiming all the misfits are his hmm I take care of you presenting a picture that doesn't help us at all but an answer to the question why do people how do people get to see look at second Tesla - ten missus it's the second it's the third text on our syllabus this is my first time here I'm a little nervous you're doing well okay okay second Thessalonians 2:10 and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish because they received not the love of the truth that they might be saved hmm so notice the deception is because they don't receive a love of the truth that they might be saved so if I tell somebody something and they say okay I don't want that I don't want that yeah but you die you rest in I don't want that yeah tell you that hell is not eternally bernalillo I don't want that well no Peter had a vision and that changed everything I want that they'll take everything that material huh they're going through a cafeteria you're just taking what they know and what so when you don't receive a love of the truth what happens easily believe a lie is true believe a lie you believe a lie but the truth is presented to them and they just didn't do didn't accept it basically hmm there's no excuse if you've been presented with the truth yeah and you don't accept it there was a movie with pilgrims progress I remember when Christian went to the room of the interpreter and it showed that it was already the end everything had done and this lady was in the bedroom he showed her the vision she said I had all this opportunity people kept telling me this but I I didn't I didn't listen now it's too late I'm done just a sad tragedy she ignored it and then she lost her life we know that every person is gonna be given an opportunity I mean we know that that's gonna happen in the last days that you know that God's gonna give everyone an opportunity to have information about him you know and that's our part is to take you know to share that but he will give people an opportunity yeah I think this rise will finish over verse 12 you know in this same chapter that they all might be damned who believed not the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness all right that they and the word damn do their mean condemned because they don't have pleasure in truth they have pleasure in unrighteousness they don't want the truth they want unrighteousness in remnant Bible it says from those who persist in turning from these warnings God withdraws his spirit leaving them to the deceptions that they love anything on that well Brian I was just I I know throughout my life all the things that I did you know all the jobs that I had all the times going out with friends and you know the parties and things like that talk about leading a life of deceptions you know and as you said you know Rudolf was like one of my favorite shows you know and to think that you know the line with the wings with the crown you know was the savior of me being a misfit toy you know and it just kind of like it opens your eyes you know when you finally see the word and when you start to finally realize where's where God's love is for you you know and how he protects you and how he tries to teach you everything about the end times that are coming and what you have to do to prepare for it and the love that he gives you and the love that you know once the Holy Spirit is in you it just overwhelms you and it fills you back up and then brings you back toward him that's right you know you know when when you know that you can be deceived for so long and yet you can be saved the Holy Spirit mm-hmm you know I'm finally bringing you back is just a wonderful blessing from God you know Donna wants to say Donna well I'm agreeing with Bryan I I wasn't out in the world in deception I was in the church and deception and I didn't even realize it and there came a time when I began to read some of 51 what David was praying you know cleanse my heart created me a clean heart you know if there's anything wrong in me please you know fix all that whatever it is it says and and it wasn't long and I believe that even the Holy Spirit himself put that in me to pray that you know I I was in deception so he put that in me to pray that at a specific time in my life when he knew I had a lot of frustrations and so I prayed that prayer and and the Holy Spirit big took me on a journey to where he was putting me on that straight and narrow that I thought I was already on but I was on a wide path but the straight and narrow is definitely there and anybody can pray that Psalm or one like it and the Holy Spirit will come and he will begin to work and do what needs to be done to take these you know on the eyes and to yeah it calls us to finally realize and there I was and all again you know remember your dream Donna oh yeah which one the carpet oh the color of the carpet yes in a dream and when after I prayed that prayer God gave me a dream was out at the ocean and I was at at the end of a long pier at the ocean and waves kept coming over me and they would stand there look like fifty feet above my head and I thought I'm gonna be killed I'm gonna die and I would just shake on the inside but it would subside and then another wave would come and it would subside and the third way that came it came and crashed over me but I was still standing and the Lord spoke to me and said turn around and run and you see that building over there run into that building and I did in the dream I ran into the building and in that building I was running I didn't know where I was it was a nice new building and it had an unusual carpet I looked down as I was Franca's oh that carpet it's awfully pretty and you know in the dream two years later it took two years for me to go through more and more confusion yet learning a little here and a little there and still begging God God show me please show me show of what I need to do and I would go to my pastor in the church and I would say something's not right I don't know what it is and the pastor would say Oh Donna everything's just fine and I didn't I just was too uneasy you know but one day somebody invited me to a seventh-day Adventist Church in Thompson Ville Illinois because I lived in Benton and I had never been there I thought ooh a Saturday church okay okay she said you'll be blessed okay came to the church walked in and on the Sabbath morning John Houser said the first time anybody had ever said happy Sabbath to me was John Houser and a member of the church but he said that and I looked down and there was that carpet two years later there was that carpet and I could go on and say truly that church hadn't even been built yet Wow that's timing you know God shows you things ahead of time so that when the time comes you're gonna know it both must have jobs like this is my dream I never left I think the reason why because the Lord knew that you know the Bible talks about one of the work of the Holy Spirit one of the aspects he will lead you and guide you he will only lead you if you want to be led that's the only guide you if you want to be guided first John 4:1 that's why this is important it says because there are so many spirits in the world today and these spirits that we talked about this deceiving spirits but listen to what the Bible says the first John 4:1 it's on the syllabus also yes on the syllabus there number okay write about number three he says oh yeah beloved do not believe every spirit but test the spirits whether they are of God because many false prophets have gone out into the world and that's what we're dealing with nowadays how do you question is how do you test a spirit though ah go to go to first John - well you have 8:20 ok the law ok the law to the testimonies they speak not according to these words is because there is no light in them and you in first John right yeah we've first John chapter 2 verse 3 and four three and four yeah chapter two verse two and hereby we do know that we know him if we keep his Commandments as for he that saith I know him and keepeth not his Commandments is a liar and the truth is not in him okay so if somebody says I know the Lord but they're not honoring his Commandments the Bible says my truth is not in him mm-hmm and it's strange that we have that approach when I've read that text before people have said you know that's not nice why would you say that I said you know what I didn't say that all right Bryan I know I didn't say it's right here there's ten commandments that's right a lot of people keep a lot of the commandments but do they keep them all and when you keep them all you've got more truth coming out yeah that's sad thing yeah you just said that so now we I would assume that person must think that God is not nice yeah you say that wasn't nice and apparently God's not nice but look what he's making me do yeah well people will speak lightly of the word of God it says and set their impressions feelings and exercises above the divine standard you know we may know that they have no light in them says from mount of blessings page 146 and one of the reasons why this topic is so important if you notice when I talking about nations fighting in wars and other because that's always a focal point what I'm the focus of the study is when the Lord is trying to reveal truth to you you are in terrible danger if you decide I'm happy with I am happy with my religion I'm just comfortable where I am and the Lord is saying I want to lead you and I want to guide you matter of fact you John 14:15 anybody read that John 14:15 we know what it says yeah yeah right we know what it says says if you love me look read verse 14 15 and then 16 if you love me keep my Commandments and I will pray the father and he will give you another helper that he may have abide with you forever helper okay then you got a helper so if you keep the commandments you had to help a now look at John 16:13 right here what's that helper gonna do however when he the Spirit of Truth has come he will guide you into all truth but he will not speak on his own authority but whatever he hears he will speak and he will tell you things to come so whenever we link the Holy Spirit to the fact that we don't need the truth it's not scriptural some people says I know the Holy Spirit's leading me but the holy spirit can't be leading you if you say he led me into darkness the Holy Spirit I feel this it right see it again go by your feelings mm I hear that so many times in the Christian world yeah I feel this is just fine for me yeah well who told you that do you get on a plane Brian based on how you feel oh no what do you get on how do you choose oh you know to lay down in bed or just to get up in the day you know well not me why if you get on an airplane oh yeah hit on an airplane based on what you I feel this is the right plane oh yeah okay and you don't go by I've never done that usually I have to have a destination oh okay I don't you know just get on a plane and get a feeling now I've been on a plane sometimes it's like tonight should I really be going to this place you might say do I but to get on there you have to have the right Airport yes the right itinerary mm-hmm the right gate yeah the right plane number right in the right destination and that takes a little study doesn't it yeah you got to prepare and like everyone's on their own journey and just like you know we've all experienced along in our lives and like you're saying you know it was a journey that God was showing you things as you were as he's Holy Spirit was speaking to you and you were searching and there are some that are out there that maybe don't understand things but they're still trying to learn and that's I you know I think that's what God looks at is you know a willing heart a teachable spirit that maybe they don't understand all of the Bible yet just like you know we'll be learning through eternity you know so but it's the idea that when people might not understand a lot of the truth God takes them where they're at and even if they died you know he judges their heart so maybe they don't understand all of our doctrines or you know whatever yet but God takes them where they're at and that's you know we can leave the results with him and the key is this this is the key and I totally support what you're saying but the key is this if that if the opportunity never came to you but if it comes to and you pass all right yeah that's the difference all together if this is all you have and you respond according to what you have right life to the light you have but if light comes as the Bible says think as John three first not drawn 3:16 I think is John three verse 12 I believe it is but check it out John chapter three and bring up the text for me the Lord says and this is the condemnation that light has come out of the world it's John chapter three but light has come into the world but men loved darkness rather than light because their deeds are evil you'll find it that's what such description well this is the condemnation that light has come to verse 19 verse 19 okay yeah yeah okay there it is this cut this is the condemnation that light is come into the world and men love darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil okay so there you go and Hosea 4:6 okay you have okay got it or six my people are destroyed for the lack of knowledge because I has rejected knowledge I will I hate to even say it I will also reject thee that thou shalt be no priest to me seeing thou has forgotten the law of thy God I will also have to forget all the children they reject what what are they rejecting knowledge and they reject knowledge yeah and if you reject knowledge who are you rejecting the one that God we don't have to reject knowledge it's given to us freely yeah something that the Lord put upon my mind he said to me your feelings will destroy your faith feelings will destroy her faith ESDA commentary said this inner thought was interesting he said that love is a principle and not an emotion I really like that love is a principle not an emotion because so many people go about what they feel and they get lost in all this confusion them by your feelings can lead you anywhere like that you little you're on the path the rod rod you know look at the beautiful flowers oh well there is a plaque that's seems to make every time I turn around I see it I just don't like it and it's a cute little plaque and it says live laugh love and it's not that easy it's not that easy no I you know reminds me of the constitutional phrase life liberty and the pursuit of happiness which is nothing wrong with that obviously is the constitutional content but if if all it is is life liberty and the pursuit of happiness it reminds me of Noah's day you know they ate they drank they gave in marriage but they didn't even know anything was coming and the flood came and took them all away and there are so many people today that just involved in the rounds of life I I asked somebody recently you know where's your life going where's it headed and this person I was telling ya wife about that this person said well I'm looking for my next job but I lived here and I I don't know where I'm going I said now let me ask you again where is your life headed and this person didn't know I said here's my card this ministry can help you know where your life is headed there are so many people that are that way today they're just living for the moment you know they're pursuing everything that brings happiness which is nothing wrong with that but don't pursue happiness when the biggest part of happiness is in Christ exactly I mean all this kind of reminds me and takes me to second Timothy chapter 3 where it talks about perilous times in perilous men it says in chapter 3 verse 1 but know this that in the last days perilous times will come for men will be lovers of themselves lovers of money boasters proud blasphemers disobedient to parents unthankful unholy unloving unforgiving slanderers without self-control ito brutal despisers of good traitors headstrong haughty lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God and mercy having a form of godliness but denying its power and from such people turn away part of that having a form of godliness these are people in the church talk about people in the world that's scary exactly what we were talking about earlier people that were falling away being deceived you know and and in second Timothy go to chapter 4 now okay and look at this chapter 4 verse 3 and 4 this is I want to walk through this really and just squeeze the orange here look at this mmm 2nd Timothy 4 verse 3 of course on the syllabus Donna will help you save some time there it says yeah for the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine I was talking about this the words sound there and the Greek means uncorrupted means true the means say that means holy means it means complete they would not endure a complete whole safe uncorrupted doctrine but according to their own desires and this is one of the problems here they say okay that's not right that's not what I want that's not what I want I want this not that they have a precursor to what they want and if the Bible is giving them what they do what they don't want they don't want what the Bible is given it says according to their own desires and then it goes on and says because they have itching ears anything I don't like what I'm hearing what do they do they will heap up for themselves too they pick teachers so if if I'm saying remember the Sabbath to keep it holy and Donnell is saying uh take any day you want yes I like what Donnell said no Jews ever you know huh when's any worse yeah what was it was good somebody else's well you know when the Bible says you you die and you're sleeping well no no no I like it no my mom died and went to heaven so they pick a different teacher when the Bible is saying what it's saying don't look for teachers that match what you want to hear that's what is being said and look at what will happen as a result verse four and they will turn their ears away from the truth and be turned aside to fables so it's not that they're not being presented with the truth is that they have designed their own approach to Jesus and really you know what that speaks to me they want they put God in a box they like yeah I totally limit who he is and that's what we were talked about the idea of complete I think the complete package we're making God in our image instead of allowing him basically to make us in His image we want to make God in our image so he fits what we want no does it have to do with the seven women saying I need the name of one man okay Isaiah 4 verse 4 oh is it easy that's right look at numbers try six Peter right there okay oh wow where we at I know it okay number six and in that day seven women shall take hold of one man I wonder who that one man is no saying we will eat our own food we're our own apparel only let us be called by your name to take away our reproach that one man's name that's Jesus season that's why he says many will come in my name many my name and I wrote what that meant I mean these points are so strong for me read that not another 12 read that right there for me Donald many Christians will be comfortable with just of the name they will have our own food bread they preferred their preferred teachings in their own apparel their own standard of righteousness their religion will be surface Christianity will look genuine but after examining it by the Bible its truth true condition will appear right so so they'll say we want our own food Wow that's not that's your food this is our food my pastor once told me he said you have your scriptures tobacco what you believe I have my scriptures to back up I believe I said excuse me pastor wow I don't have any scripture and neither do you and the Bible doesn't back up two opposing views but you know but you know what the problem is not the Bible the problem is a human heart and in the kind of Christianity existing in the world today is this is what I want this is my kind of Christian I'm happy right here my cousin his eyes yeah customized Christianity and the Bible said yeah they just want the name mmm yes done I was just you know imagine being at the marriage supper in the wrong garment oh I know the Bible says that he was speechless yes right he was speechless he was I believe he was very upset with himself Wow but it was too late he was extremely upset with himself but he couldn't say anything it was too late so if we don't want to have that experience it's not too late not right now exactly I was thinking too much says we will eat our own food really what they're doing is starving themselves literally starving themselves that's that wisdom don't write that down that's myself this whole thing this whole everything we've been talking about is easy well it's all for us as Christians to you know to not be not to take it for granted when God wants to show us something and give us you know more of his light and to keep seeking because we can always continually learn more about him and it's forced to not be content and and get to comfortable and are in our condition and it's all for Christians this is all of these things we're talking about our all for Christians that's the pattern here I you know this is you know judgment begins at the house of God I forget where that's at and so it's you know if the church is not following God how can we expect the world to want God the God that we portray we kind of anchor ourselves down on what we want and instead of saying Lord what do you want and even Jesus you know in his humanity didn't he struggle with that in his humanity what did you say not my will but thy will be done yeah okay let me throw it out to all of you now so what are we getting out of this what's happening what's what's taking place amongst us mm-hmm well there's delusions hmm and I think about delusions strong delusions like a drug so it would be a delusion delusions that Satan sends would be our drug of choice mm-hmm do we want the truth or do we want a drug of choice to be diluted and you know so that's my thought I think you know let's not run past that because that is the drug of choice I didn't make that up my cousin said that to me when I was explaining to her truth mm-hmm and she said to me and and it was like wow that's good and she said well that would be like a drug of choice if you choose something that's not the truth yeah just to be happy you know to have feelings have wonderful gooey feelings you know it's a drug of choice feelings get you they get you it's not the truth yeah everything that popped in my head and this makes me think of King David he had it all the other you had this Kingdom beautiful Kingdom but something happened he decided to stay back from war he became Idol or I don't complacent that's when the enemy picks us off is that night on this so I think about that being Idol is a big one for me I'm not being vigilant well when I read our subject matter is like that's kind of tough for a Friday night who's gonna go to sleep yeah it's the truth it's the truth right well with the everything from the junk food that we were talking about and everything else we're not getting the true nourishment that we need you know because of the deceptions and everything else but if you if you look in the Bible and take in the actual Word of God and not to be deceived especially that we are so close to the end times you know there is hope for everything and in John chapter 6 verse 51 you know going back to the junk food Garrett says I am The Living bread which came down from heaven if anyone eats of this bread he will live forever and the bread that I shall give is my flesh which I shall give for the life of the world so it's not just for you know our little section of Illinois I try it you know it's not for just some area in Great Britain it's all over the world it is for every single one of us to be able to take in the Word of God to understand God's love for us as a whole people and not just for a race of people not just for the you know not just for the Jews of the Gentiles or anything else to all the world for every Jew in every Gentile everybody you know it's just you know it's a wonderful gift that he has given to us especially now that we are looking at things that seem to be so close to the end times even though there's things that still haven't happened yet but it's getting closer and whenever it does happen the word will help us understand when it is our time and when it's here oh yeah because if you look at one of the I'm glad you brought that about the hunger none of that but that's a great title junk food and then emphasizing Jesus is the real bread of life in Matthew 5:6 says blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness for they will be filled and Jesus says why spend money for that which is not bread there are people today that a you know they're they're willing to pay anything they want to they have this brand of righteousness that it feels attractive and they'll be willing to support it and give their donations and give their offerings at church week to week but it's like you're paying for junk food and the Lord and say in essence is saying but you're not hungry and you're not thirsting for righteousness so you'll not be filled mm-hmm you'll remind me of something I told you about well a family member I have I'm gonna be vague yeah you know you want to say it no you say okay oh we have a family remember that just that person's whole life is just comes consumed in fun and pleasure and yeah and keep coming up empty over and over and over and over and over again and we said if they only would try God's Way amen they won't ever be frustrated again but this you know that's the problem searching for love in all the wrong place yeah not happy not content not content just do it the laws way you'll make a difference in your life it's funny sometimes well we love our misery like we'd love to be miserable but why would you want to stay miserable you can have so much pleasure and so much yeah joy it's and it only comes from the Lord you know I talked to people on Prayer Line and I try to encourage them look you know like this one young man said how do i how do i defeat satan how do i take him on so well prayer reading God's Word no I don't want to hear that I don't want to hear that it's like that's the only strategy we have is bringing God's Word I mean you can't that's the thing is we don't want that we don't want those things they're gonna secure us and give us that hope and that comfort and that joy we want something else done I see you have your finger on the text oh I don't know I but if you look what I sing it this in the last station is and it shall come in the in the come to pass in the last days saith god I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy your young men shall see visions your old men shall dream dreams you know and as we pray and as the Holy Spirit is alive and well on this earth is totally alive and well and he's here he's going to help us you know we're not alone even though we're saying these hard things and you know it looks pretty gloomy we got answers we got answers in the Word of God and here's the good news let me give you a bright part of the end times Matthew 24:14 and this gospel of the kingdom mm-hmm will be preached in all the world for a witness to all nations and then the end will come the Lord wants to restore our hearts he wants to restore our alive but in order for us to get to where the Lord wants us to be we have to allow his word to be our guy right and his holy spirit who will never tell us what is not in God's Way that's wrong that's important don't ever say the Holy Spirit told me this but you can't find it in the Bible right yeah the Holy Spirit will never lead you and guide you into falsity but always into truth the one thing that the Holy Spirit will well I'll look at I look at it this way now I know now I know what not to do exactly well on that note friends we have to say may
