Zero Mass Water hydro panels

hi there I'm Glenn Morris from the smart energy lab and today we're looking at the zero mess water hydro panels so zero mass water make these panels that create pure drinking water from solar energy and air so sudden air makes drinking water basically these harvesting the humidity in the air condensing it into pure water then ionizing it for for health for health safety and mineralizing it so that it's ready to drink now these units there's two of them here at the smart energy lab there's like all them hub-and-spoke so the one at the rear is is the hub and the one out at the front is the spoke and they work and in tandem they both have I think it's 50 60 liters of storage and the base and a pump that can distribute that water to water storage devices like a tank in this case we're just utilizing them in sit you on site the output is straight to a little tap here it's got its own pressure pump and pure drinking water straight out of the air hmm yep it's great stuff so how do these work well it starts with in the front here we've got a combined solar collector so on the outside corners outside edges I should say of the unit we have basically an airspace that's heated by solar energy that warms the air so the air contains some humidity that's being warmed the energy for the fans is provided by the solar panels in the middle so photovoltaic solar panels just here in the middle and those that entities use to drive the fans and circulate a desiccant wheel which is what this very large box underneath here is this contains the desiccant wheel you can probably hear the fans operating at the moment so the desiccant wheel rotates the warm air passes over the desiccant is absorbed into the desiccant then it passes through a cold section where ambient air is blown across it which is causes the desiccant to release its moisture in the form of basically distilled water and so that water flows down into a storage tank down here it's ionized to ensure those bacteria and it's mineralized so that's drinkable quality as it leaves in fact it tastes wonderful it's it's really nice tasting water so you know I jokingly said to the people from 0ms water so do you have a peer mineralisation mix so yes it's it's great water totally self-contained there's no wires or any think required and we don't have another power system this can normally go on the roof of a building or it can be ground mounted they weigh about a hundred and thirty kilos empty but they're assembled on site I think the largest weight unit is the front panel which weighs about 80 kilos so it can be transported to site and assembled at Institut the other clever thing is they have comms now this is a little antenna here shortly we'll have the 4g connection device installed and so it's monitored through to their their their global Center where they monitor the data from these units and there's an app that comes with it as well which allows you to see things like the volume of water the amount collected quality other metrics which I haven't seen yet but I'm looking forward to once that the communication device is installed so so the safety of the water is being monitored as well as the production so thanks very much to zero mass water for installing this test unit here at the smart energy lab ok thanks see you around
