at the end of the day it really all comes down to routines what you do every single day consistently is what adds up to the big victories at the end of the day it's not I mean like looking back on the things I've accomplished it's never about just giving my all for one day or giving my all for a week or a month it's always about the amalgamation of the 30 minutes 1 hour a day that I spend over the course of years at least 6 months and that's the thing that you don't realize until after you've done it you know what I mean it's like how you can't get a credit card without having credit but you need to get it somehow first you know what I mean the reason it's easier for high Achievers to achieve multiple things so quickly is because they have done it before they've gone through it they know what it takes you don't know and even if I tell you even if you watch a million videos there's a difference between knowledge and belief and the the difference is really really tangible Ian I mean you can't even you can't even like begin to understand until you've actually gone through it what happens as you go through life and you figure out that what you actually really need to do is stick to it consistently once you realize that through actual practice and actual hard work and actually going through the motions then big Feats you start to look at them as not impossibilities as you might have before instead you start to look at them as just things that you have to tackle and when you make that when you make that change to things being just work instead of things being impossible it really really changes your mindset and approach to everything what I'm trying to say is that you're not going to succeed by just looking for the easy way the easy way is a myth you can make it easier but the ultimate factor that determines your success is consistent effort over the long term no matter what area it is and I'm sure intuitively to some degree you know that and to some degree everybody kind of knows that but we've been conditioned in this Society of instant gratification that things should be easier and it's not a conscious thing that you know that like it's not a R Mantic fact in your head it's more of a implicit intuition that things should be easier and you can't solve your problems if you're not even aware of them and that's why I think watching all these self-improvement videos is good because you start to become aware of your problems and aware of where the next step is to go to but if you watch a million self-help videos you're going to be stuck at that stage at the stage of Discovery you should be watching videos like this and videos like you know like other self-improving people to discover new things that you have to tackle in the real world and people get so trapped up in they get in the cycle of watching and watching and watching when that's really just the first step for that first skill watching the video is Discovery actually learning that new skill and integrating it to your life requires actual work all the people watching this video just to get the take a message this is what you have to do find something a skill that you want to learn that you want to understand watch a few videos on it to kind of build that awareness of a new area of expertise that you can Endeavor into and then take action you've watched the first video you realize what you need to do so you just go do it and you have to do it for a long enough time that you start to experience new problems from this new level of understanding that you can only get through actually doing it and then when you have that new problem like the initial problem that brought you to videos in the first place you go do some more Discovery to figure out how to surpass this level of understanding and surpass that problem you go watch another video you read some articles a book and then you take what you've just learned you do it consistency for a long time and from this new level of understanding you go on to continue to find new problems continue to develop expertise continue to develop new understanding and maybe new interest and build your curiosity and then that's how it becomes easy that's how it becomes easy it becomes easy Once you continue to blow past your levels of understanding and you become an expert in your field and when you do that it's the Curiosity the internal drive that starts to self-motivate you to make it quote unquote easy
