[Music] welcome everybody in this video i will show you how to easily fix blue screen boot loop issue with the following error message your pc slash device need to be repaired the boot configuration data file doesn't contain valid information data for an operating system error code 0xc00098 or the boot configuration data for your pc is missing or contains errors error code 0xc000 you may receive other error messages or error codes indicating that the issue is related to bcd file as shown in all of them will be fixed easily after watching this video how to enter the advanced restore options the menu that used to fix all startup problems or blue screen boot loop issues to open advanced recovery options without installation media do the following turn off the computer completely turn it on again when the windows logo appears with a circle of dots press and hold the power key for eight seconds or until the device turns off completely repeat previous two steps until appearance of preparing automatic repair the computer is now in the advanced recovery options to open advanced restore options from windows installation media such as dvd or usb do the following turn off the computer completely connect a windows installation media turn on the computer once you see the manufacturer logo press the f12 or another key from keyboard to open the boot options this is the list of most common keys to enter the boot menu for different brands move to the dvd or the usb and then press the enter button press any key to continue change the keyboard language to the united states so that you can type commands and symbols without problems as happens when choosing the british language or some other languages click on the next button then click on the repair your computer option see video description to learn how to create a windows installation usb using android mobile solution for both gpt and mpr systems in all windows versions [Music] open command prompt type bcd edit and hit enter to show the bcd or boot configuration data determine in which partition you have windows installed for mo's device data in my case the d is the windows partition but in your computer it may be another letter type bcd boot d colon backslash windows replace d with the letter of windows partition in your computer as you can see the boot file is successfully created let's see what will happen when selecting a wrong letter for windows it returns the following error message failure when attempting to copy boot files now close the cmd click on continue option to boot into windows 10 operating system disconnect the usb flash card or the dvd from your laptop if booting from one of them you may get a blue screen error saying that your pc couldn't start properly after multiple tries the operating system on your pc failed to start so it needs to be repaired just press enter key from keyboard to continue [Music] the first boot may take longer time than usual so be patient bcd boot tool can fix boot issues in windows 10 windows 8.1 windows 8 windows 7 windows vista windows server 2016 technical preview windows server 2012 r2 windows server 2012 windows server 2008 r2 or windows server 2008 as you can see the windows started without issue also all files and installed apps will not be lost after applying this method we made another video with different solutions and more details you can watch it from links in video description if you need help don't hesitate to add your question in a comment and we will do our best to help you if you liked the video please leave a comment and subscribe to encourage us publishing more similar videos
