Your Fnaf Hot Takes! (And my salty ones too)

opinions we've all got them some are a little more contentious than others those we like to call Hot takes last week I asked you guys to send me your hot takes and today we will be going over quite a few of them but not all of them because I got a lot of responses I'll be giving my opinions as well and stirring the pot a little though I would like to say before I begin but there's no wrong answers here if I disagree with a hot take or agree with one which disagrees with someone else's hot take that's not me saying they're wrong or calling them out these are all just thoughts and feelings unless it's about save him that's one grassy hill I'll die on anywho let's begin starting with the first hot take I spotted exuded writes Glam Rock Bonnie is overrated they still haven't given any clear conclusions to his character and the design is bad he doesn't fit in with the other band mates at all this is a good one to start with because I both agree and disagree with this take we really don't know much about Glam Rock Bonnie we do know he was close to Freddy and we know what happened to him but he's a complete Enigma as far as we know he could have been a real jerk we just don't know though I do disagree about his looks I think Glam Rock Bonnie's cute uh very 80s with the Spandex and headband though I do know that this isn't a very unpopular opinion I've seen quite a few people who actually don't like Glam Rock Bonnie's design here's a tiny hot take I kind of think that the disappointment in Glam Rock Bonnie's design might be because the fan of design was so prominent and people got used to it maybe not for everyone but maybe some folks anywho moving on an entire circus writes I don't know how hot of a take this is but I kinda hate ruins story wise it makes very little sense to me and feels entirely like an attempt to Pander to the audience eclipse is cool but makes no sense you mean Moon gets advertisement and not the ideal Eclipse that's actually a good point Roxy being friendly is cool and all but it implies that there was never a virus and they're all just that violent I think mimic was solely to give into the theory crowd who just didn't want to admit that Grandpa Willie was in fact Grandpa Willie why is the place in such disarray if Gregory and Vanessa just kind of left none of it makes sense to me and it just kind of ticks me off there's things I like of course but there's just more I dislike also balloon boy did nothing wrong and people are just mean big disagree balloon boy is the spawn of the underworld he is born of the Red Lake Bed and has come out to claim our batteries Jokes Aside you actually raise a lot of good points ruin definitely feels like it's angled to be more fan servicey probably because it by creation is a hunk of gameplay provided to make up for the state's security which was released in that's why Roxy is suddenly given a huge role eclipse is a thing White's story feels like it is purposefully detached from security breach like ruins trying to get itself away from security breach as fast as possible so get rid of the old villain keep the main characters off screen throw in some extra goodies and get out while you still can that doesn't mean it's not an enjoyable experience but as a story it does feel disjointed I might pronounce this wrong make you on right I absolutely do not get the hype around innard his design is pretty ugly and not that interesting and I think his existence marks the descent into the Sci-Fi mess the series became moving forward and is the reason for a lot of weird and unexplained characters like molten Freddy and the blob the tangle firstly shame on you he is a precious boy secondly you're well you might be onto something now I still think ennard's cool but if we get technical the scooping of Michael Afton kinda did feel like the Jumping the Shark moment for the franchise though with the Twisted ones coming out vaguely around the same time I would argue that entered alone wasn't the sole cause of this shift um also what innard has above molt and Freddie in the blob was that he was the first and he had the most narrative reason for existing we know what innard is and he does something for the plot molt and Freddy's leftover spaghetti and the blob's only narrative event might have gotten retconned so her place entered with blob and there's my hot take now this next hot take brings up something interesting that I think I might have accidentally stumbled upon once but didn't really think about it until now Kitty demon Overkill writes one Michael was not at the Freddy Fazbear pizza simulator location he was the person person that the job listing was intended for but as we know the person who actually got the job was not the person the listing was intended for two there are probably several things that everybody just thinks is Canon but just flat out isn't Canon at all but was so widespread that the fandom just considered it Canon despite it not being so now this is the thing that interests me you're right uh or at least there's something there either Michael was not the intended person for the job but stumbled into it meaning there was someone else who we don't know who Henry was planning to Target or he was targeting Michael and he didn't take the job that's interesting maybe an oversight but it's interesting and agree on number two there have been times when theories have been taken as Canon I mean if you think about it very little of fnaf's known Canon has actually been fully confirmed without being retcons a lot of the stuff we're supposed to know could be discredited by an offhanded comment you know key Oblivion writes the mimic isn't a terrible idea but could have and should have been handled differently if when it was going to be introduced into the main game that's not even a hot take you're just right I personally am not crazy about the mimic but many of the problems I have with it could have been fixed by it having a proper introduction as a functional villain in the security breach main game instead of its teaser at the end of Ruin so I agree mustache Miss writes ultimate custom night is fundamentally broken as an experience because of DD the fact that she cannot be toggled without using a finite resource immediately prevents the game from being a custom experience yes 100 yes DD is awful like she's okay if you're going in wanting a random element but if you really want to make a custom challenge you're going to have to set them all low and hope she doesn't still show up if not for her ultimate custom night will be an excellent choose your own animatronic nightmare experience Vani era writes shipping is overheaded in the fandom in my opinion like of course there are some weird ships that I get why people would hate on but I don't know it I feel like a majority of them are fine and some people are a bit drastic like someone shipping Glam Rock Freddy with Monty or something like that is fine I don't get why some people get so upset over it sorry if this is worded kind of weird it was a little difficult to put this thought into words flip no no I understand entirely and yeah I agree I don't know shipping didn't used to be this much of a hot button topic but I noticed a lot of comments getting really defensive when I mentioned the possibility of Freddie and Bonnie having a romantic relationship things like they're robots why would you ship them which feels kind of weird to me like it's your first time on the Internet it's nothing but shipping I don't know there was a lot of snap shipping over the years Freddie and Bonnie by the way and only recently did I notice any visible pushback I've seen shipping for a long time I've seen shipping of healthy couples on healthy couples people who barely talk to each other and I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with it in fact I find it more concerning when you get a situation like in the Steven Universe fandom where people are attacking each other for liking certain ships that did happen that shows an amount of insecurity Prime the great writes as a person who just watched playthroughs in theories and videos about the books and has never played a FNAF game since starting in 2015 I find it weird that people complain about the books revealing lore bits and saying it doesn't make it easily accessible to newer people or other fans Scott's teasers and source code bits from back in the day aren't easy to access for new people either they won't know why scrap baby is not part of innard or who molt and Freddie is they won't know about the gas leaks being the cover-up story for Elizabeth's death the books at least exist and can be requested at a local library and read in publishing order between book and game the advantage of the website teasers for lore reveals was the leaks weren't weeks ahead but only spoilers if you weren't free when he changed the websites the problem okay so the problem I have is that the information is locked behind a paywall unless you have access to a library with the books or one to read Wikipedia so many of the books are not exactly you're reading through a lot of stuff looking for specific answers and most of the time you're not going to find them or the possibility that going on will just have chunks of the story cut out of the games and just dropped in the books oh it's not important that we establish a character or plot development we'll just write eight books and ship them out over about a year and that'll do well enough and thus we have the mimic though I do agree that the source code Clues are a bad move because they too basically hit away vitally important plot points for the story plot points that would have probably done a lot better if shown in a pixelated minigame or something of the like there's a better way to develop a story plus you don't want to only rely on theories matpat's theories for example take a lot of Liberties for entertainment purposes which isn't bad if you're watching them for fun but if you're watching them thinking they're totally lore accurate that won't work again not a knock at map hat heiress Rivera writes I like William Afton coming back and burnt rap is so much better than the mimic except the meme this might be a spicy one especially since I'm going to add a little more seasoning so a long time ago I went on this tangent about the mistake that was burn trap and how I thought glitch trap was a good direction and that burn trap was so much worse I'm now in the boat where I have to go back and say that I actually liked burn trap more than mimic I didn't want Willie to come back again this ain't much better analog boy writes I actually liked burn trap and while I'm still interested in the mimic character and the direction the series is taking I'm kind of sad that burntrap and the blob were pretty much retconned out and abandoned yeah part of me is going to missile people too I kind of warmed up to him with all the memeing that got done with him but it was kind of a shame that we'll never know what that possible second phase was as for the blob with its brief appearance in ruin there is a slight chance that it might appear again this could be an opportunity to actually do something with it but we'll see Beck Culpepper writes the toy animatronics would absolutely beat the withers and the OG cast since they're designed to stop criminals and are made with better Tech a lot of people think the withers are some Unstoppable Force but they're designed to Garner sympathy and uneasiness they probably wouldn't get too far in a fight besides their height that's actually a pretty good point I don't know about the FNAF one original since they seem pretty sturdy but the withers are are rotten and falling apart and those plastic looking shelves probably make for a good Shield so I would probably agree with this withered Bonnie only has one arm withered chica can barely move the only one putting up a fight is withered foxy and that's him up against dump truck Hot Chicken chipmunk trash pile sock monkey and the one from Beyond the sleepless Veil soup by frog writes technically not a hot take but I think that the pat Pat's wet floor Bots should have gotten at least a 10 or an 11 in the ruin kissing guide I will fight all Arguments for them I think one of the points off for them was sympathy they are stuck staring at the same spot usually in a corner so there is nothing to see behind them basically motionless until the player terminates them they have no other faults they are adorable they don't have a mouth so they can't bite they literally have the perfect spot to kiss on the head resting chin on the divot of the head and tilting down so your lips cusp the metal strip the equivalent of a forehead they are probably the cleanest in the game other than the entity they're not dangerous in any way I just want to take one in the car with me get a McFlurry with them or like a tub of Ben and Jerry's and some popcorn plop them down on my sofa and go on an at-home movie date they're the perfect choice for my movie date they don't speak they don't eat they don't go go to the bathroom every seven minutes they seem more like a friend in my opinion that you tell everything to me they deserve a 12 but I'll settle for a 10 or higher that concludes my argument I forgot the other argument against them getting a 12 but I think I covered all bases if someone disagrees respond because I will fight for one of my favorite animatronics who after making this post I will recreate and place somewhere in my room thank you for reading soup by frog note this post does not direct hate I am just fighting for the pat pat this took ages to write I don't care if no one reads this writing it was fun and I got to share my opinion which doesn't happen often if someone has read this you have my respect and thank you so much for taking the time to read my argument so to be completely honest I think you pretty much blew my argument for gosh whatever score I gave them out of the water you absolutely convinced me I never had strong feelings for the wet floor Bots I thought they were cute I use them occasionally and but I never had like really strong feelings for them but this description actually is really really cute and taking all this into account you know I could very realistically bump them up to S tier or you've convinced me that they would at least be like excellent buddies for Fazbear entertainment to sell I would take home one of these in a heartbeat also I love the name Pat Pat that's just so cute salt of writes the whole concept of glitch trap and him creating vanity is dumb Afton should have died in Pizzeria simulator and Vani could have just been a fan girl who is obsessed with the killings and recreated them and that honestly sounds way better than whatever sci-fi shiz we getting this isn't actually a hot take Ellie's not from the comments I've seen regarding Fanny I think a lot of people not everyone would have preferred vanny to just be her own villain instead of possessed by William and be like a copycat killer personally I think that would have at least given incentive to not have Banning it sidelined so hard vilska writes burn trap isn't bad because William Afton literally always comes back what were you expecting something that could move without a walker if burnt trap was something more akin to The Afton amalgam hinted in Princess Quest then it would have been leagues better than what we've got and what we're now stuck with Bluster the benevolent writes a FNAF RPG deserves a legitimate second chance with how the roster of characters have exploded and with so many ways to make fun of the main continuity a spiritual successor to world that's actually fun to play wouldn't be so bad don't bother trying to fit it into the main story at all just have fun you ever see footage of Super Dragon Ball Heroes make it like that the craziest fan fiction selection of characters and forms everywhere I want to see withered fiery berserk golden Freddy take on AR scrap Glam Rock balloon boy the fans will eat this up and buy the toys and it'll be the funniest thing ever I totally agree I feel like a spin-off like that would be a fun way for FNAF to work out its humor and give old characters a spot with something to do and probably give astral spiff something to Nuzlocke again bad egg on YouTube writes I'm late but just because people like a franchise doesn't mean they support their Creator's personal opinions the Creator's personal opinions shouldn't stop anyone from enjoying something unless they put their Mega weird shiz in the game I agree and this is pretty topical uh we're all doll the creator of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory James and the Giant Peach and plenty of other children's books had a a colorful history as did H.P Lovecraft and the less I talk about Lewis Carroll's rather uh uncomfortable relationship with the real life Alice and her sister and family the better so yeah agree monkey cat writes Montgomery Gator is way more of an interesting character personality wise and design wise than any depiction of Bonnie not including springtrap of course since he's Afton and not the actual spring Bonnie at this point I don't care if he was or wasn't the one to put Bonnie down I'm just glad someone did it also Monty and Chica got the short end of the stick with the whole animatronics with personality thing Freddy and Roxy are way more fleshed out Monty is reduced to that angry one that killed Bonnie now and Chica would have had way more personality with the valley girl accent but they took it out and now her personality just tastes like chicken I guess I actually kind of agree don't get me wrong I love Bonnie but Monty really does have a cool design for a period of time there were just variants of Bonnie that kind of felt a little lackluster so yeah Monty feels like a breath of fresh air from that though I'm not sure if I would go so far as to have Monty permanently replace Bonnie it's just nice to have some band shake-ups and I totally agree that Monty and Chica got a bit shafted especially chica she couldn't even get one new line in ruin and hot take here but I love chica's Valley Girl accent sure her current voice is menacing but that valley girl just is dripping with personality and to then have it ripped away would have been so much more jarring hi I'm Brandon writes mexus is actually attractive I mean he's if you want to get I mean if you want to get technical he's no comment Grande guber writes being damaged doesn't automatically make animatronics more scary I agree for the most part while there are some creepy damage animatronics there's others where I feel the damage detracts from their initial creepiness like the ruins Sun and Moon Clifford meow writes I think Gregory had every right to do what he needed to survive he's literally just a homeless little kid of course he's going to be ruthless to survive I don't like what he did but he did what he had to do he did not have an upper hand unless he did that I think folks forget that when Gregory first met Freddy he was friendly and he and Freddie work together and the first time he meets Monty Chica and Roxy they're busting down doors charging through boxes yelling Lost Boy Over and give up nobody will miss you and trying to break down the office door anyone would see them as the bad guys a lot of folks want to pretend that Gregory should have just befriended the animatronics but he did the one who was in safe mode and wasn't coming at him like choo choo Charles with a hangover that is a weird comparison but I'm leaving it in Lady Leah Namar writes Roxanne Wolfe before security breach ruin is a narcissistic bully that too many people sympathized with the only reason why people related to her or felt bad for her was because of the deeper rooted issue at hand she's heavily insecure even now people excuse her actions because of her behavior in ruin despite you being nice to one person not giving you the justification to be a bully to another especially not children snap should have ended with the third game springtrap was the perfect last antagonist also stop the Gregory slander so I actually really definitely agree on the Roxy thing it's great that she's nice now but then no one will miss you is a really gross thing to say to a kid but she was possessed well okay well so Gregory took Roxanne's eyes I don't know if that's necessarily grounds for her to try to kill him and you might say no she's not going to kill him well when she thinks Cassie is Gregory if she gets a hold of her she body slams her and then bites into her face but then of course later in the cutscene she just politely asks for her eyes back so now she's back to being good I think basically what's going on here is there's an inconsistency between how Roxy was originally written and how she was later written like she was sympathetic in the first game but you couldn't totally forgive all of her actions but in the process of making ruin a little more um appealing to the fans they wanted to make Roxy good so they kind of did a little jump with their character and tried to go out of their way to show everyone that Roxy is actually really really good but it just comes off as a little inconsistent and when you're looking between both of those it comes off a little yeah so I should mention the second part FNAF should have ended at the third game FNAF 3 springtrap was the perfect last antagonist the reason I'm bringing this one up is because I actually saw a lot of comments who said this in fact I lost count there were a lot of comments that said the story should have ended with FNAF 6 but there were a lot of comments that said that the story should have ended at FNAF 3. I don't think that the FNAF story as a whole should have ended with the third game but I definitely think that the first three games could have maybe benefited from just being their own thing and then have the next section be their own thing and the next section because the biggest problem with fnaf's story really is that it's constantly fighting with whether or not it wants to move on to the next plot or whether it can't that was so early in the games that would be like saying that a majority of FNAF shouldn't exist and I kind of disagree with that because I find many even the games some of the games that I have problems with I don't necessarily think that they shouldn't like exist also stop the Gregory slander I agree with that putting head rights baby's story is too confusing she's Elizabeth wait no she's Charlie no she's Eleanor in this story I'm hoping that with help wanted to and the sneak peeks from the sister location they give us a better story for circus baby I half agree I agree because the fourth closet baby Charlie is one of the most convoluted things for absolutely no reason I disagree because I would prefer the story steers clear from baby we don't need some Revelation now that circus baby is actually mimic who believed it was Elizabeth and was reborn with the power of Remnant to be a busty female Femme Fatale who spits fascu like a cobra and uses that to collect Agony that she uses a spawner Empire of killer pachinko machines purple bean right if glitch trap is supposed to be William Afton does that mean Maxis is supposed to be Michael Afton God that would be a glow up on the salty side of things the amount of reality altering gizmos that the series is throwing is a pretty good indication on how the writers are panicking now with the lore they decided to keep carrying over from the coffin era instead of doing a clean slate from Help Wanted onward now everything is possible but nothing is true I absolutely agree with that it seems like the story is trying to separate itself from the old games by discrediting them by sewing in the possibility that they're all fake by adding in layers of meta commentary but they still are using that story and so it comes off a little more disjointed than if they had just you know made like a sequel that was a little more separated once you add in things to purposefully make the storyline impossible to pin down like extremely unreliable narrator you kind of shoot yourself in the foot because it's hard to take anything with weight when it might just be an illusion or a hallucination or anything can be anything it's a writing crutch something witty maybe right the kids possessing the animatronics from the missing children's incidents was arguably one of the most interesting ideas from the game and should have been explored further it's weird how they got immediately shafted for spookier things when the idea of being trapped in a robot forever is already so horrifying I wish the series explored them and their stories more instead of focusing on Afton I do actually agree with this too so Fazbear fights is a very flawed book series but the sections they spent going through Jake and Andrew being trapped in an animatronic were so interesting and I felt like if they would have fleshed out those more they would have made first a really cool read so I could see the promise of this premise like if you were playing a FNAF game where halfway through you are trapped into a machine like you die in a suit and you play through the rest of the game as that animatronic that could be seriously neat voice under the cover is right the Michael corpse thing is the worst decision ever made in the entire series you're telling me somebody actually hired a rotting purple skinned corpse with no eyes and barely any healthy hair who reeked of intestine and probably wasn't wearing anything but a pair of jeans and why exactly would Michael take these jobs instead of just searching for his father directly for Remnant oh another stupid aspect of the series of course the animatronics can't just be possessed no because anything can be possessed as long as it has the special energy implemented within so stupid I had to include this hot take solely for the Fantastic mental image of a rotten out Michael Afton shuffling up to Freddy's no shirt no shoes asking for a job and actually getting it and then only later getting fired for his smell I'm assuming there's just some things we're not supposed to really think about also yeah Remnant being a magical substance to replace goals it's just so they don't have to deal with the implications that there's so many dead kids floating around of course then Remnant erased the concept of death and then it became a major MacGuffin that caused math to lose Stakes so yeah bad move commenter 847 writes coming home is one of the worst Fazbear fight stories and pressure is the worst Tales from the pizza Plex story I disagree with coming home it gives us a look at a character who is relatively frequently named and shown but who we actually know very little of on a personal level it also allows us to see more about some of the victims at Freddy's because up until this point I mean we've heard about the missing children numerous times but we don't really know them on a personal level we know Afton front back and center but we don't know about the people whose lives he's ruined and in this story it gives us a good look at at least three of them how Susie's dealing with her death how she's trying to move on how her sister is coping and how her mother is coping in it adds emotional depth that FNAF could really use now pressure is Hot Tar on a shingle it reeks dolphin Delaware writes my hot take I genuinely do not care who killed Glam Rock Bonnie Monty is dead Bonnie is dead or at least unable to escape the pizza Plex Freddy will never get word of who was the real killer nor will he ever be able to have a moment to avenge Bonnie there is no plot significance that makes glam rock Bonnie's death a worthwhile discussion this is a weird take because I want to disagree but you're actually kind of right like I wanted to know about Clairemont Bonnie I wanted to figure out the truth I would have loved to see a further plot involving Freddy discovering him but that's not going to happen while what happened here could have been an interesting side plot it's pretty much just kind of a background set piece Lucifer's number one fan writes Roxanne Wolfe is one of the most well-written characters in the series it's a low bar to sit but I'd still disagree I'm not saying she's a bad character but there's so much of a jarring change between security breach and ruin you kind of just have to make some assumptions with Roxy to get a clear picture of her character maybe if we see more of her this will be fixed but I don't know if I can confidently agree yet potato rights plot take I feel like phone dude should have had more importance to the lore he is still alive but completely disappeared at the end of nav 3. I'm hoping he's either Cassie's dad or the guy that leads Fazbear entertainment but that is unlikely since Scott retired um so I feel like if phone dude was going to have any more importance in the lore and it was going to actually make sense it should have happened almost directly after FNAF 3. like if it happened in Pizzeria simulator then that would have made sense but I feel now we've gone way too far in the future to bring him back but I do agree that the phone dude should have came back for pizzeria simulator Kira August cross writes hot takes yes hot take number one Scott should confirm mangle's gender as she they and Funtime foxy as he they or something like that hot take number three he should confirm some of the oldest bits of floor because there are more holes than a slice of Swiss cheese at this point and he should duct tape it together at least for some of the fans that it might have been here for years hot take number four I like security breach even though it is broken it has some of the most fun designs so far although the plots executed poorly that's not the Fan's fault the creators should have told the fans to wait and ironed out the details fans will always whine for it to come out faster but they don't mean it hot take number five I don't think the story is that bad just needed to be ironed out and the VR twist serial killer copycat vanity to take apne's place would have been good hot take number six at this point getting a prequel game and it ending with afton's first kill would let us see what the place ran like before it was creepy and see what he's actually like because it's been hinted so much anyway I don't know those are some spitball ideas I had okay hot take number one at this point I don't think it would be a smart decision to confirm mangle's gender because it's been so long I feel like it would be a weird decision to go back and say mangle's gender now especially since the fan base has debated it for so long I think it's best just to let it lie number three so here's the thing about confirming lore I'm all up for learning about more lore you've heard me talk about we don't even know the crying child's name like a ton of times but here's my thought if we bring back some of the lore and try to explain it now it's going to try to be explaining it through the lens of what's current right now so for example let's say we were going back and we were going to find out about The Bite of 87 but what if they go back and they're like well we need to answer this question oh I know why don't we say that it was the mimic and that the mimic actually caused a bite of 87 because he was back there back then okay so the mimic was the cause of the bite of 87. well not only would that feel like an Eleanor thing where you're just tacking on old things to new characters in a way that's anticlimactic but it would also feel like way too long after the fact to really be talking about it if we were going to get answers that were actually answers for what was going on at the time then yes if we're going to get answers that are now made for this time no hot take number four you've actually got a huge a huge good point here so a lot of people say that all the problems with security breach was because it was rushed and it was rushed because the fans asked for it but no that's not why the game was rushed I absolutely believe from what day the game came out that there was some sort of deal with Sony or some other publisher to get that game out before Christmas someone higher up told steel wool we got to get it up then and it was not because of the fans it was because of the bottom dollar because let's be completely Frank here yes some fan bases can have some very loud fans but the loudest fans and FNAF fan base are the youngest younger fans are the loudest of fans and they are also the most forgiving so if you tell them we're going to wait we're going to push the game back three months they might be upset about it but more than likely when the game comes out they're gonna be a lot more okay yeah the game's fine then older fans who are going to be a little more critical I suppose like myself so yeah it wasn't the fans who called security breach to be rushed it was someone else we don't know who that person was probably a company yeah okay good point the story is not that bad it just needs to be ironed out and here's another person who agrees that copycat Vani would have probably been better yep there we go and finally hot take number six um yeah I could see that I could absolutely see a game where we go back to the original Freddy's and we find out what happened back there it would be a way to bring Afton back without technically bringing him back Ripley anemone writes not sure if it's a hot take but most big theories are built off theories that aren't confirmed no you're you're just straight up right Braden klundgren writes matpat Michael is the crying child was way worse a theory than Gregory is the crying child and is a robot no I disagree Michael is the crying child takes the context of two characters we know very little about except that we know they were both protagonists and basically says what if they were the same protagonist Gregory is the crying child and is a robot suggests that this boy from 2020 is actually a reincarnated form of a child from five games ago and about 40 years ago and is also a robot so yeah I would say that the Gregory is a crying child and the robot thing is a bigger stretch squares for you writes Gregory is absolutely a human that's my hot take I can't believe that's a hot take I knew I knew I there was a part of me that knew after the fourth closet came out everyone was going to be accused of being a robot Raphael writes FNAF would be in a better place if Afton wasn't the one trying to bring back people from the dead Afton would be just a random serial killer that starts to plot meanwhile Henry would be the one that tries to create robot kids this would streamline the plot and avoid the Afton family drama being the center of everything I agree with this full stop in fact I think that the Afton from FNAF 1-3 and the Afghan from Sister location should have been completely different people like have this deranged purple guy murderer and then have this scientist who's trying to use what the murderer discovered through his killings and try to use that to justify his own research and spreading this pain they're two different types of monsters I think that would have really been cool secretly Demeter rights I think the scraps are underrated I'm putting it in hot takes because nobody really talked about them besides criticism like there's good stuff about them but honestly I hear nothing about it absolutely nothing surprises me I love the scraps even my favorite character is one I just think they're pretty underrated this is sort of a hot take because I've seen a lot of lukewarm reactions to them but personally I think scrap baby is such a cool design and I wish we would have gotten more of her moving around on her little wheelies while I have mixed feelings on what molten Freddy is I also think his design is pretty cool my only problem with molten Freddy's design is he seems like a downgrade from ennard but if he was just supposed to be a portion of ennard like Funtime Freddy he would actually be pretty cool and for the final hot take of this video I will be throwing in one of mine the crying child would have been a better puppet than Charlie was look I like Charlie I've read the books and I really do but thematically having all of the Henson FNAF 4 the plushies the clocks the stripes the tears the fact that it was supposed to be the Final Chapter having FNAF 4 be the backstory for the last unknown major character and having the puppet be a significant character in the games and not in the books would have been golden especially since that means in Pizzeria simulator William his son his daughter his other son and his creation all his children would have all been burning together the entire Afton family in one blaze of glory save him you can't also Lanny would have been way better if she was extra thick so that's where I'm going to end it for this video I still have plenty of collected hot takes so sometime in the future I might just have to make
