I suspect that the instrument requires quite a bit of air pressure to make it sound based on the cheeks/lips of the performer.

Of course like most instruments the ones up on stage make it look easy and sound just beautiful.

I don't play this instrument but used to play the bagpipes and there were some reeds that were very difficult to get air through, it'd take all the effort of my diaphragm to get even a squeak out of it.

Are you going to look up the instrument and see what it would take to buy one and learn to play it?
