WWE 2K24: CREATE the BEST Universe Mode! (FULL TUTORIAL)

you guys have been asking me how do you set up your universe mode I've done multiple episodes showing you guys the tag team division showing you guys how I do things in WWE 2K4 but today is time for the full overview full tutorial of everything and keep in mind for the tag team Division I went in depth so if you guys are watching this video now just hit up the tag team division video if you guys want to check out what tag teams I'm using and how I went ahead and did that let's get into it here we are we are in May week one so the first thing I go ahead and do is I go to championships you know what I'm saying we going to get these straps off of everybody who's currently a champion or a title holder why because you want to start fresh you don't want nobody holding up the titles you don't want none of that so let's go on ahead and get that done real quick and you know just like AJ Styles if you don't want him to be enemies with uh Finn Balor or Jimmy us or La Knight just going ahead remove them that way they're not in rivalries with against those Superstars because you want your Universe multi to be as fresh as possible new as possible so that's just the one thing you do want to do I recommend going on ahead and doing it for everybody even though I don't follow those instructions myself because it is extremely tedious but you can do it for one universe mode file and then just have the 10 plate and whenever you want to start a new universe you just use that so just something out there that we can go on ahead and throw in there for you then guys I already showed you guys the tag team division this is your universe mode you get to decide what you want me personally I'm going to go in ahead and delete the tag teams that really don't do anything for me a lot of the legend tag teams are just unnecessary to have because I'm not going to use them anyway the women's division it depends on what you want to do with the womens's unless you want to have like women backing up each other that's fine by any means but usually I don't have a women's Tag Division so I delete it all you know what I'm saying and if I want to have women backing each other up I do what I have to do but for the tag teams like I said before you guys can go on ahead and check that out in another video because I did that already so here on my guys what we want to go on ahead and do now is you want to go to the options menu as well make sure that everything is off because you don't want the universe mode to do anything for you at all you don't want it so you want z0000 everything injuries that's really up to you but you can set up injuries yourself with rivalry scenes so you can go on ahead and do those anyway so me personally I would turn it off crowd changing reaction turn it off as well tag team breakups turn it off as well automatic rivalries turn it off and you just want to keep it that way you want full control of this universe mode and that way you can go on ahead and continue the next step that we're going to go ahead and do is and this is how I set mine up personally I don't want NXT because three shows is too hard to handle that's just the way I look at it so we're going to go on ahead and delete every single pay-per-view so the only one I'm not going to touch as WrestleMania I'm going to leave WrestleMania just how it is now when talking about different things with the universe mode I wish that we could get a two-day WrestleMania event in the game that would be super dope because pl's are no longer on Sundays unless it's WrestleMania we should be able to put pl's on Saturday to get our double Mania nights and have our two main events just me just nitpicking but I really really hope that that is somehow patch into the game or put in next year but yes so this is the next step Here and Now I'm going to teach you guys what you do with your pay-per-views all right guys so the way I like to do it is I always set it up on the fourth week of the month you can basically set it up however you like personally I like putting kned Champions first and I'll tell you guys why the reason why is because I like crowning my Champions on the first pay-per-view I might Crown a champion or two prior to the pay-per-view but like my main Champion always gets crowned at the first pay-per-view just because of the way that I do the tournaments and like I said you want everything every time last week of the month and that's just the way I do it because I'm used to the four-week builds anyway backlash the reason why I do backlash second is because they're just getting revenge from whoever beat them for the title or however you want to do it with your rivalries it's just a pay-per-view slot you can use there's many other things you can do as well you can download basan Berlin I do see a couple of those up there so you can download those as well that's something that I do personally for my universe mode but you're just going to set that up every last week of the month that way you can go on ahead and get yourself started with every pay-per-view and you can basically choose you'll have all of the customization for all of that so that's how I going ahead and get my pay-per-views done and then now it's time for the roster if you guys watched how to draft for universe mode I'll go on ahead and give you guys another sneak peek right here let's go on ahead and draft all right you guys so personally I'm going to go on ahead and just do the quick autodraft because this is an example personally I would just do it all myself but since we are in this video and I already taught you guys how to do that in another video we're just going to go on ahead and just show this real quick so I'm just going to choose just the males females and then I'm going to exclude everything else so the managers duplicates Deluxe dlc's because obviously we don't have any DLCs we're going to go on ahead and block those out and then we're going to draft so this is the draft you guys can either do a random and then modify it or you can go on ahead and just use whatever it modifies and be creative with it so that's just another option as well this is the way that I personally do it so we're going to go ahead get back into the game and here you guys see as well that you know you're going to go ahead and remove every single person from your roster right and then what you're going to do is you're going to go on ahead and follow what the draft machine did for you so here on my end Luke Gallows is my first pick as funny as that is but yeah so I'm just removing everybody all right guys so everyone is removed my first draft pick here on my end would be luke Gallow so this is basically how I do it I do my own sometimes sometimes I use the draft machine to just randomize it for me even though it's extremely random so that's the only thing with this but that's the way I would do it and now guys here you guys see championships you set that up I keep my championships very very similar so the Tag Team Championship is going to stay here sometimes I do put the US title on raw and throw the Intercontinental title on Smackdown this is the world championship that I do use I don't really change the Championships too much but I do remove the women's Tag Team Championship and I do keep everything else I know a lot of people like to unify the Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Championships but there's more than enough tag teams that you can create and keep to going ahead and have this working anyway so guys once this is all said and done this is basically how I go on ahead and set up the universe mode it's very basic I do think basically how I like to do them I don't really follow any instructions from anyone else this is the way that I do my own universe mode does it need work probably but this is the way we get it done man but yeah brawl Smackdown those are the only two shows that we going ahead and use when it comes to my universe mode I know a lot of people like to use NXT but me personally three shows is so hard to manage so now let me show you guys how I go ahead and actually manage my universe mode outside of this screen all right you guys so I know this is extremely nerdy I get it I know I know but for those who want to have a good time with their universe mode this is the way that I go ahead and run mine I found this on but yes this is the way I do it guys this is the way that I track everything wins losses draws streak all of that you guys can go on ahead and do it this way as well the green is the DLC every wrestler that's in the game is in here as well so it makes everything extremely easy you guys see the win records the sheets goes on ahead and takes care of that for you as well so really really easy in the end so this is probably uh one of my favorite Parts about it cuz it keeps you with your universe mode keeping track of everything that you need to keep track of so this right here is probably my favorite thing as well and then here you guys see I keep my Champions here guys as well Roman Reigns the wolf dogs Gunther uh carelo Hayes RI Ripley Bianca Belair Judgment Day so these are my Champions at the moment as well so that's just the way that I do it here you guys can keep track of your draft as well this is for year two basically are running your own universe mode with this the person that did this did an incredible job as well you guys go to championship history you guys see here Roman Reigns is my Champion uh for Smackdown the Usos Creed Brothers wolf dogs those were my Champions as well Cody Rose and gther Gunther is the current champion right now so this is just the way that you run everything and it's fun in the end I have a lot of fun running it this way cuz it keeps you kind of in tune you get to build your story lines and then you guys have the title contenders I don't really go this far but this is a way that you can go in ahead and keep track of who has competed for what title and why did they earn it by a number one contenders match you know you can basically choose that as well here on my end I use the weekly planning just to go on ahead and be able to set up what rivalries I want either for SummerSlam whatever I'm doing so you guys can do it this way as well it's all fun as you guys know you get to choose your money in the bank you basically the way I did that was I ran my matches I ran three matches on each show and I was able to get a winner and then that and I was able to get winners and they went into the money in the bank and this is the end result of that as well and you can do the same thing for the women's as well with this spreadsheet but I do not use uh the women's money in the bank it's just too much work the chamber it has it for that as well NXT other tournaments Royal Rumble like when I tell you this is a ridiculous cool thing here that we can go on ahead and keep in mind and and it's just good stuff so
