Wrigley Field security was NOT HAPPY about this

hello everybody from the north side of chicago this is zach campbell with you outside wrigley field my 10th major league baseball stadium of the season double digits already i love it now today is a watch with zach game so i'm going to be with a whole bunch of kids and their father i haven't met them yet they're gonna get here soon they got some really cool bleacher tickets for us in the outfield so looking forward to that the weather it's a little bit iffy so hopefully there is batting practice the washington nationals are here they got some great players including kyle schwarber who last night made his return to chicago anyway like i said these folks are getting here any moment so let's go meet them together all right i am here with the entire crew and guys i thought it would be cool if you each introduce yourselves and if you want to share how old you are go for it and just speak up so everyone on youtube can hear so you want to start us off awesome how about you my name austin is and i'm 14. i'm matthew and i'm 10. and i'm elizabeth and i'm 16. sweet and so this young man right here by the way i got to point this out he's from slovakia right first major league baseball game ever today so we got to do it up extra special for him the rest of you guys you've been here before yeah a bunch of times have you guys caught baseballs yeah we've got a lot all right well hopefully we'll add to that total by the way shout out to your father mike who's standing right over there and we're out on waveland and kenmore the famous intersection behind the left field wall baseballs regularly fly out and land here so if the cubs start hitting soon that'd be cool maybe we can get on the board before we go inside but when this place does open we'll go in hopefully the nationals are hitting them so this is great let's do it here's my tape organizer want to get this message out to the world no wave at wrigley thank you how about a little guy over here how about this little guy to build [Applause] you don't have to count toss-ups but we count toss-ups the old-school guys here are like ah it's only home run balls that count listen i count it all baby a baseball's a baseball well the gates are opening in five minutes so as tempting as it is to stay out on waveland i think the time has come to line up and run inside let's do it [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] oh thanks thank you so much nice to meet you thank you yeah you did it show that baseball to the camera let everybody see that baseball yes and so right now the national second group is just getting underway i think we have four baseballs combined including the one outside that austin got he got another one in love he did he's already oh yeah okay so yeah we're off to a great start yeah [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] hey nice [Music] okay [Music] oh [Music] there it is i guess the person who grabbed out of my hand gets it so michael good job the glove trick in action here at wrigley and batting practice is officially done how many did you get matthew [Music] all right we have re-gathered with all of our baseballs here and we did pretty well today you got uh four four did you give one away no he has right he has one so you gave it to him yeah so yeah you have two three two one so yeah you can see exactly how we did it was a smashing success i got four baseballs i gave three to these guys there was one tossup that was thrown to me there was a kid near me so i handed that off you probably saw that earlier so yeah we're in double digits i think combined yes we are we're gonna get more probably later in the game i love this guy's attitude so i guess right now should we wander around a little bit are you guys hungry maybe we'll get food maybe we'll wander you just can't go wrong everyday [Music] [Music] thank you you're welcome thank you for responding of course thank you that's because i'm from new york wow so many dogs yeah okay one two three you need a dog one more one more oh well thank you very much get your water to wrigley water wrinkly water it's the best water only five dollars what 25 a gallon ah isn't that wonderful crazy [Music] thank you did not think this rain would be this intense or last this long i mentioned that i thought it might mess up batting practice but i didn't think it would be an issue for the game and hey in addition to kyle schwarber being back here in chicago it was good to see john lester getting some love up on the jumbotron pre-game also more pre-game action someone from the nationals bullpen tossed a bunch of baseballs into the crowd and out of the corner of my eye i saw one trickling through an empty row on the bleachers so i chased that one down but it turned out it was dropped by a lady who had a beer in her hand so i handed that one to her and because of all the rain right now fenway chris is well he's somewhere all the way up there hiding under cover because his fancy camera can't get wet so i'm hanging here down in the wet bleacher with the crew so we're going to bring you a little double camera action tonight right now second inning this game is underway no score yet [Applause] [Applause] is yeah there it is [Music] hey thanks thank you you're welcome nice job oh oh he is on fire tonight that's two toss-ups that he's gotten from chris bryant wow we are in the fourth inning cubs are on top two to nothing and while those hot dogs were delicious they didn't quite fill us up so down below the bleachers we go to order more food so i'll give you a little close-up here of the gang at this stand i am going to go for the beyond burger yes indeed that's for me thank you the same is true for me [Applause] [Music] [Applause] my butt got a little wetter on that one i think all right who wants this one [Applause] go go go okay that's for you thank you there you go and one more for you god [Applause] that fan did not want to give up his cup snake that's what you call it when a whole bunch of beer cups are stacked into each other but security persisted and of course got booed by everyone out here ultimately though it was a cool moment that everyone enjoyed and speaking of fans enjoying themselves if you can see over my shoulder way in the background in that elevated section deep in center field above the batter's eye it's packed out there that's for fans who are fully vaccinated and i guess no one's wearing face masks out there so you know it's cool that the cubs are doing that personally i don't want to sit where it's crowded cove it or not i like all these empty roads so i can run and chase home run balls or toss ups or whatever else but it is great to see baseball coming back and fans coming back i think this whole summer and late in the season it's gonna feel pretty close to normal at major league stadiums that's my prediction anyway for right now seventh inning cubs are on top five [Applause] take three out to the ball game [Applause] the capacity tonight at wrigley field was limited to 25 and when you combine that with the crappy weather it made things pretty fun and interesting out in the bleachers plenty of space to spread out and we took advantage by snagging so many baseballs that's andrew celebrating after grabbing a toss-up between innings from jason hayward and we've got a few others as well that aren't even on video that's what happens when seven of us are joining forces to catch goals and there's non-stop action the game itself had lots of excitement there were three home runs and one of my favorite pitchers craig kimbrell entered the game in the 9th i enjoyed the epic showdown between him and juan soto two players with very weird setups and mannerisms kimbrell won that battle and meanwhile the fans in the crowded section were battling security guards over more cup snakes the cubs held on to win this game six to three and the vibe of wrigley was truly something special today from start to finish if you've never been to the stadium what are you doing you seriously need to make it here asap and as for all of us well i am very glad we made it to this game you can see some of the balls that these guys are holding up we combine if the numbers are right and i'll make sure that they are to snag 18 baseballs that is huge i might throw some details in the description for how we got them guys everybody watching this if you want to
