all right my first evo let's go okay here we go we got evil maddie in the house finally what's going on why is it naked um so i previously took my evo to another shop and they butchered it you can watch that video on my channel um so paradox is here to revive it make it look better the way it was supposed to be um it's really ugly because we took off all the panels and we sanded everything down so there's no imperfections the previous shop also left a couple knife marks and uh the paint peeled up so okay where's all your panels then you're gonna bring them later we're gonna finish sanding them okay so they're like perfect by the time they get to you all right less problems okay well i need to i need them in like what tomorrow like by tomorrow two weeks two days okay yeah all right all right okay promise dang look at all these are these like because you sanded them or so a lot of it was like paint chips like you could see like you could tell like when we took off the vinyl it just either chipped it or it was like already kind of chipped so it just like totally cracked um and then we just sanded over all like the rock chips because after years of like owning the cars lots lots of rock chips all right so this one is going to be about how to pick your rapper [Laughter] a lot of people you know like you like in your video is like my friend can do it for less kind of thing and um you know of course i'm not a shop you can see here i'm just some farmer so better my friend's not doing it this time i'm taking my car to a farm all right i don't know that's better or not so tell them the process in which you advise now that you've gone through the whole process and you know had your car messed up how do how should someone pick their rapper um it's hard because like i trusted the person and i knew the person that wrapped my car previously um but if your gut tells you not to do it even if you've already dropped your car off just just follow your gut because honestly when i dropped my car off the next day i had a like a video of someone driving my car i should have known then that that was bad and i should have taken my car away but i didn't so be careful because you don't want to do it twice like me it's very expensive i'm deep into this but it's gonna look good um this time i promise you i can oh if it doesn't look good i will peel off your wrap from the day you pick up thank you and you don't pay anything okay so um what are we doing with this hood are we doing the color so i wanted to do oh my gosh it's so chipped ah i'm like looking at it okay um so we're gonna do the green i really want to do like the wrap match the whole thing i usually say paint rat match and then leave the vents carbon vents carbon oh you want me to leave the vent's carbon all the way up to here or only this vest yeah and then i'll wrap down to here yeah all right unless do these first if that looks good just leave it if that needs to be i guess i i trust you all right i'll make it i'll i'll play with it and the nice thing about rap is we can always redo it you don't like it yeah so i'll have it i'll have plenty of material the roof's gonna be black the roof's gonna be black okay the mirrors are pretty good someone wrapped these like two and a half years ago and they're they've been decent but you can see it's like starting to peel up a little bit so okay i'll probably just run like a patch piece for you okay around the edge so you can't see the white um and then there's like a tiny bit of vinyl just hanging out it's okay i'm just going to cut it off um right here are these going to be black or what or in the color yeah black if you don't mind black from from here to here right and then here on this ledge too i don't know oh i get to decide okay great it looks so naked so i can't really tell it's very ugly what's happening oh the side skirt is like you rubbed full text before there's like that the in lay part black black yeah i don't know it has to be otherwise it looks weird don't look at that that's really bad what the where is it oh no one's gonna see that who cares you should see my cuts all right they know and right here this part shows so i mean since you have it off i can just put the color on that spot is that what you want um yeah or you want to make it black and then whatever color you go to from here on out you don't even have to mess with it yeah like skin black's good all right cool yeah quincy getting the love all right uh trunks gonna be gonna be in the color right yep uh green and then the top piece of the the the wing is carbon so you can leave that okay but the wings gonna be in the coat yes all right cool this is going to be like the easiest wrap i've ever done because on the evo you don't have to take any gonna be black previously you said every time you got wrapped what happened yeah so i've had my wing wrapped like three times and every time it's been wrapped it looks terrible so i'm excited to see was a little nervous about doing all green because like it's loud and it really is loud but it looks really good well there's no point in doing a wrap if it's not loud that's true that was the whole point of doing green like one last loud color um let's see oh the roof looks nice and fresh yummy i like it oh that piano black spicy oh my gosh i love it oh the little vents are black right that looks good i need to paint that but it looks good oh my side skirts that's what they should have done my size gifts were so bad last time so like this is actually really exciting was it hard to do like to do it like that it was hard the first time i did it but i've done one of these before so i know what the limits of the wrap are so if you try to push into here it won't go so you have to cut it off around here somewhere okay it looks really good like that the black side vents oh i really like it i had a hard time with the hood uh the guy's picture that you sent me was not that great so i'm like i don't know how i do this so this is my interpretation of it i feel like this line right here they have to it has to meet and like this decent point yeah well if you look really hard you can find imperfections but the car came in not perfect no yeah it looks good um all right you ready for shows now or what what what do you have on this car that still needs to be put on um canards need to be put on the uh voltex diffuser the carbon fiber side skirt extensions like the little details make it look like oh you got you got splitters yeah okay they got splitters they're cracked from the last shop that i worked on but oh yeah that's right i don't know even how that happened because they took it off and they put it somewhere don't go to a cheap shop all right there you go it looks good we'll let her have a look around okay all right check check out the wing okay okay how many pieces do you think i did the winging 45 three all right so you do this piece first i show them in the time lapse i gotta like heat that up a little bit you do this piece first and then you do a piece under that ends right here so you kind of have a curve so you want to hit the body line and cut it right there and then you run another piece a long one that goes all the way around and then you wrap it down so those guys didn't need to do it in that many pieces if you do it this way it will always look clean and you're not trying to make the stuff go like this yeah if you ever try to make this piece do a full 180 it will never stay yeah like do you have a lot of people's wings and do you ever have like difficulty or is it like just this way because all my car's on wings and i've dealt with it before so i know i know what works and what doesn't like i'm very like i don't need everything to be perfect it's just like every time i've got my car wrapped like the wing is always peeling back right here i'm like come on there's got to be a little bit better way of doing it i mean this wing is quite hard to do just because it's doing a weird turn yeah i can see a little bit of pullback right here so i'm gonna heat that back up and like a little bit right here yeah that needs to be like cut off but this is why i tell people to come back after about three weeks then we can really see what the wraps doing and then you do the touch ups and all that stuff so um was it easy to wrap with like oh yeah i'm a pro at this stuff some people can't handle this type of material it's a polymeric pvc it's not cast or a calendar so unless you have worked with it before and play with it some people like the pro rappers they only wrap them 3m or avery and they have a hard time with it because they're not used to how it but it behaves i did all these without taking door handles off the other side i did because i figured out the front door was easy after i did this side because it took me a long time but there's a video on how um within here that shows you how to do it okay so you're gonna unwrap your car after this i might try my audi for fun but i promise you if it turns out bad i'll bring it to you it's the same concept do you charge more if you have to fix a wrap i would never fix a wrap i would redo the whole thing [Laughter] okay cool uh i never took them off oh really yeah oh no i don't like that they're coming out i don't take anything off that's right all right there you go i still love the way this hood looks it looks really good i don't know if my cuts are even or not but they're gonna be like oh you cut on your carbon fiber all that stuff it's okay it's already scratched from the last person i'm just kidding and it's already like i just it needs a little love it needs a new clear coat but um if you if you run the blade light enough it will only cut the wrap and not not the uh the surface okay there it is wait can we see that why is that look white oh there we go you gotta like touch the screen okay maddie what do you think um honestly nine out of ten nine all right well hey that's that one point it's all good that one point is never perfect it'll be a 10 out of 10 but you guys have to come to my channel to see it entirely put back together and then it'll be 10 out of 10. yeah because she's got all kinds of carbon bits and stuff like that and then then it'll be rocking okay now here's the deal right you need to honestly appraise how this looks like okay we're not i'm not asking her say nothing this is not a fully sponsored rap at all or even if i do sponsor you i want you to give me the honest result because on this channel we show all the mistakes like you want me to say on yours or like online whatever you take it home right and then you do your thing with it and if everything flies up you let me know and then save it for when we do the touch-up session where it's going to be like oh paradox or something like that i'll be honest yeah i'll be honest because i just made a video um talking about all the blemishes that the last guy that wrapped my car did so i'll do the same okay i'll just you know and i'll appreciate the parts that were more difficult i know it's not easy hey that's why it's never gonna be perfect but uh once you do it enough you can figure out how to fix stuff if it acts up within like the next week or so so after about three weeks you should be good to go but ceramic coated okay all right that's it
