WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria Coming in Patch 10.2.7! Complete System Overview

hello there and welcome back to another video today we're going to talk about M of Pandaria and more specifically we're going to talk about a brand new feature coming in patch 10.2.3 of dragonfly called wow remix Miss of Pandaria and this is absolutely insane now we recently had plunder storm which was a PVP experiment and now we have wow remix which is a PVE experiment and in this video I'm going to tell you everything you need to know about this brand new system but before we jump into that guys I just want to shout out my twitch twitch.tv/ mrgm if you want to see me stream more remix my of Pandaria and it is absolutely crazy now blizzard did put out an official post about this earlier this week uh but I wanted to wait until it came up on PTR so we can fully kind of see the details and the Nuance of this system and yeah I've been testing on PTR and it is just as crazy as we thought it was going to be so without further Ado let's talk about what wow remix Mr Pandaria is so wow remix Mr Pandaria is a Time limited PVE event this event is based around leveling brand new SS on your retail account however it is also a collector's dream and just a really crazy fun adventure and if you're a fan of like season of Discovery this is definitely the thing for you now as of the recording this video it is not known how long this is going to last however it does seem like it is going to last until the war within prepatch at the absolute minimum now the good thing about this is that it does not require an expansion to play all you need for this is a World of Warcraft subscription or game time on your account to start your adventure in Pandaria now this does use the retail client so if you are a classic Wild player you will need to download the retail client also as well if you're on a trial account you can do this but you can only level to level 20 and the best part about all of this is that any character you create and level through the WoW remix system will be able to be used on the live Realms once the event has concluded so to get set up on Wow remix is extremely simple when the event is active uh you'll see it on the character select screen all you have to do now is create a new character and a new Option will appear to create a character as a Time Runner now time running characters are brand new characters on your account and all Races and classes are available so yes dra the aokas are available for this and all of your time running characters will start at level 10 regardless of the race so yeah drag the at level 10 now once you have your brand new alltime running character you're going to log into the game and you'll be ported into the Timeless aisle now there'll be a few new quests here to do which are just kind of basic setup quests pretty simple stuff once that's all done you will go into the regular Mr Pandaria leveling experience now this starts in the Jade forest and you will be leveling from Level 10 to 70 through Pandaria you can't leave Pandaria you will be stuck in Pandaria however you will notice that you can Dragon ride immediately at level 10 in Pandaria so this helps out a ton in the leveling experience you will have access to all of your retail mounts as well so you don't need to worry too much about that and there is a pandar and themed rostrom if you do want to customize your dragon but if you haven't unlocked Dragon riding previously on your account there is also a brand new quest to unlock dragon riding if that's something you haven't done before uh all of the perks as well all of your Vigor upgrades and things will be also unlocked automatically now the whole point of this is that it is accelerated leveling and it lets you take on nearly every Quest scenario dungeon and raid in missa Pandaria to level up your characters now all of these zon scenarios dungeons raids all become available as you level but all scale up to level 70 so you won't ever outlevel anything which is really nice now you're going to jump straight into the Jade forest and you'll have a selection of scenarios and dungeons to choose from at level 10 and that is all doable through the dungeon finder just like back in Mist so you don't have to run to the scenario or anything like that you can simply just queue up in the dungeon finder and join scenarios or dungeons now as you continue to level your character through Pandaria you will notice that some of the patch content will also become available for example patch 5.1 content landfall does start level 20 so you can go and level through that and also raids will start to become available from level 25 onwards uh they'll be available on the raid finder and you can level up through those raids if you like as well uh heroic raids will also be available but not until level 70 now as you're leveling you will also notice that all your reputation gains will be increased as well so you're going to be getting a lot of rep for these Pandaria reputations as well which is really cool now this does run off the last versions of the zone so this is going to be running off the kind of chromey time version of the veil of the Eternal Blossom and there'll be various content from Mr Pandaria that won't be available to you uh one example is the legendary cloak quest sign will not be available to your character uh during wow remix however you will be able to unlock the appearance of the legendary cloak through gearing uh which is a good segue to talk about Loot and gear because this is where it gets really crazy and honestly my favorite part so all the gear in Pandaria in the raids and the Dungeons and scenarios has been completely overhauled you have brand new gear here now one thing you'll immediately notice with this brand new gear is that they have sockets so each of the different parts of your gear will have different types of sockets and these gems will drop from just random activities out in the world like prettyy much everything else uh and there are four different types of sockets so on your chest and pants you'll notice that you'll have a prismatic socket now Prismatic gems just contain stats and these can be upgraded by getting three of the same color Gem and that just kind of like progressively gets higher and higher and you can put those gems uh into your gear and take them out as you like and that is the case with any of these gems as well uh a cog wheel socket goes on your boots now this is really cool and what the Cog wheel sockets are are speed abilities from various classes so for example on my boots right now I have Sprint from Rogues on my Hunter and there are a ton of different abilities uh from various classes that you can steal uh onto your character which is awesome and that is interchangeable very easily and all of these sockets as mentioned just come from anything another socket you'll notice is a tinker socket you'll see this on your braces gloves shoulders uh these are abilities that are like chance on hit or like shielding or healing abilities just a lot of passive abilities uh that are going to help you out in the world and finally The Meta gem this is going to be located on your Helm now these include crazy new abilities for your classes uh there are tons of different metag gems with some absolutely insane abil one example I can give is the Oblivion sphere so the Oblivion sphere coalesces an orb of pure void which increases Critical Strike damage taken by enemies within 15 yards for 50% for 10 seconds and after 4 seconds the orb explodes inflicting Shadow damage and stunning the enemies for 1 second and all of these metag gems do contain a new ability so when you do put them on your Helm that becomes an ability that you can use very similar to season of Discovery runes and if you're after a specific gem there is a vendor you can use to give you gems that you don't own which is really nice and one thing that's just amazing about all of this gear and I wish this was in retail is the fact that all of the items you get are upgradeable all the way up to Max eye level which is 556 so really you could get a character to 70 and then get it in a full set of item level 5.56 gear when the event ends it goes onto the live Realms and you have a very powerful character so very cool I love the upgrade system there and of course the gems are just so much fun to play around with there's absolutely tons out there it'll take all day to kind of list them all I know Wowhead and things like that have uh you know Consolidated list of gems so if you do want to dive into it and have a look you can go have a look at those over there of course as well for your collectors out there any new appearances you do unlock while leveling up will go onto your collections on the retail game so yeah you're not missing out on any potential transmog here you're just going to Simply get uh all of that transor as you level up the other thing that you're going to have is the cloak of infin potential so this is an item you get right at the start of your questing and this is an artifact cloak now as you level up this cloak gets stronger and stronger you gain permanent power uh as you play so from just random creatures or chests or quests you're going to get stats uh to increase your cloak for example you could kill a hosen and it drops like plus stamina and that permanently increases the stamina on your cloak and that also includes plus percentage experience so you could get some really fast leveling uh through this cloak and you can just get super powerful by the end of your leveling and the best part of all is if you've got a super tanked out amazing stats cloak any new characters you create in while remix will use all of those stats that you've obtained on your main so if you have a level 70 that has a Decked Out cloak make a new character their cloak is going to be amazing and they're going to level extremely fast with those awesome stats so I love that a CB heirloom with awesome stats and plus experience is definitely a win uh in my book now the other thing as well as I mentioned with the legendary cloak you can unlock the legendary cloak appearances on this cloak at level 70 so make sure you're looking out for that at level 70 not sure on the specifics but that was said uh in the blue post and as your cloak it's more powerful you will unlock new appearances on it in general so that will also go onto your collection tab on retail as well which is just an awesome part of all of this that it's just completely worth it in regards to like collection content and things but you will notice when you're leveling up you will have a massive surplus of spare gear now in WoW remix there is no auction house or economy or anything like that uh but there is bronze bronze is a new currency uh which is going to be used in this game mode now with all this spare gear you can actually scrap it you can scrap it on a built-in Scrapper that you have on your character you spawn it in front of you and you can scrap all of this unwanted gear into this new currency bronze now talking about bronze this drops from absolutely everything it is in the currency tab as well so you don't have to worry about it being uh in your bags but yes this is a currency that's going to drop from NPCs from quests from chests from basically anything you do dungeons uh the lot you're going to be getting a lot of bronze in this mode even achievements are giving bronze now if you really want to you can fly around and collect the bronze just like you would in like a dream surge which is really cool um but the main point of the bronze currency is to buy the new rewards in WoW remix and these rewards are absolutely insane so of course the reward from all of it is getting a brand new level 70 or multiple level 70s if that's something you want to do multiple times now the bronze currency is going to be used to buy a ton of things the vendors for this are in a location called the infinite Bazaar and there's a ton of these sprouted around Pandaria in each of the zones and they're marked on the map if you do need to find one now once you're there you're going to see a lot of infinite dragons selling a lot of things things like new mounts there are 32 brand new mounts in WoW remix how however that's not the only thing the mount vendor sells the mount vendor also sells rare Mount drops yep shav anger mounts or mounts from dungeons or raids or any sort of Mount from Mr Pandaria can be purchased from this vendor with bronze now it is a lot of bronze like this is going to take a long time to farm but yes these super rare mounts from raids and World bosses and things like that can be purchased from a vendor for the bronze currency so that's pretty wild yeah that's pretty wild uh but also there are transmogs there is tons of transmogs available uh so there's actually class ensembles which are actually recolors of the Trading Post sets uh which is really cool we've recently had those and you can purchase those with bronze also an ensemble for a shadow pan set uh also all of the questing sets from Pandaria are available as ensembles and class sets from all the raids in Mr Pandaria on all difficulties can be purchased with bronze now the coolest thing here is that if you only have one character you can purchase and collect sets that you don't use so if I'm on a hunter I can buy the Rogue set and collect it now I can't wear it but if I ever make a rogue on retail that set will be collected that is actually a war within change and it's great to see it here in WoW remix you could also buy toys as well any rare toys from Mr Pandaria are available on a vendor as well uh of course as well I did allude to it earlier there are a ton of achievements attached this now there is no achievement points specifically but there is a bunch of rewards like bronze like mounts like titles available through wow remix so this is going to keep you busy very very busy if you're a collector or just wanting to make a ton of ss it's going to be a really interesting way to level and that's basically it that is wow remix Mr Pandaria it is crazy experimental different and time limited which is a shame but maybe an experiment for something in the future for like new types of leveling it's a really cool way to level I tested on the PTR had a ton of fun I've done Pandaria before but this just felt different it felt exciting and yeah I really like season of Discovery and this is like Mr Pandaria season of Discovery Cross of retail you got all your retail abilities and talents and things but you've also got Sprint you know from Rogues throw that in there but yeah it's cool it's really interesting and just the wow team are just cooking so much right now with some really interesting stuff as we roll into Alpha War within extremely soon so guys thank you very much for watching let me
