Worlds FIRST 200mph CTS-V Wagon!

all right so if i remember right two years ago we filmed this car and it's you see there's no corner window that's for the inlet for the turbo they have in the back and i believe i believe it's dual charge which means it's got a suit still got the lsa supercharger and they're force-feeding it with a turbo here we go [Music] oh it's a stick too [Music] dang it's a good pass 164.23 not bad for how big the car is [Laughter] [Music] jeez these are ridiculous 197 197 holy that ctsb is a wagon it's dual charge so it's got a supercharger and a turbo i'm pretty sure and it's a stick it's just in 197. [Music] that's like the second or third fastest car on the property right there and it's a big heavy wagon hell yeah that was badass it's literally identical past ocala really because that was my fastest pass with 197 at ocala last year so and then literally just did it one night again and that's your first full pass of the day yep hopefully now i can beat with the car cranking it up i'm finally gonna get my 200. you gotta be smiling i'm so happy i'm so happy i love this thing it's it's crazy i was like where why is there an exhaust in the middle of the bumper this thing yeah you can kind of see everything in the back it's hard to see all that i assume it's a rear mount turbo on the back yep yep so about is the turbo back there 27 so my uh horsepower solution newport news did all the work and his dyno maxes out at 1500 and that's it so it just it's 15 and that's it you haven't had on another dyno now i want to get it on a wheel hub just to see what it's at but that's great so you've just maxed out the dyno you don't know what the car actually makes no i really tuned it at the track you know he thinks based on the way we pull probably 750 1800 or so 1750 yeah but i mean you know what kind of power it takes to get to that model yeah 197 and up i mean this doesn't have a ton of weight out of it no there's probably just more weight i mean other than the front seat true it's still got all the rear seats all the seat belts all that stuff and the best part is it's a six speed and it's still a six speed it's actually the factory six speed when you guys filmed it two years ago it was still twin charged oh yeah cause woody's like the thing's got a blower and i'm sitting here talking to you looking for a blower i'm like i don't know okay oh it did so i had a maggie 2.3 liter on it and we just kept turning the boost up turning the boost up and it wouldn't make any more power yeah it's screaming under the hood it stops happening we took it off it was fun though i mean wrong it was made like 1200 wheel there's a blast on the street so that's super responsive was it the same turbo what's the supercharger okay so we didn't change anything there we just got rid of the blower swapped the cam and we put the intake on it that's it all right so 200 is happening today or tomorrow one of the two today or tomorrow you know you know it quiets down after the first day so i might not wait good luck man [Music] [Music] [Applause] um [Music] 198 holy [ __ ] hell yeah wagon represent right there so close i know man we're gonna look at the logs real quick but so that was only one pound of dome pressure yeah which i probably should have gone a little bit more we'll i think it unloads suspension when it's shifting it makes me a little nervous i kind of started seeing a little scatter on the tires i don't feel it but you can see it in the logs yeah when you feel it sometimes it's too late it's too late exactly so that's the whole point of you know the holley yeah i'm gonna go check it out [Applause] [Music] 195.82 matt says in my ear there so pretty damn good uh we only have about 14 minutes left today but same thing is going to happen just like a repeated today all day tomorrow until 4 30. so if he wants to go a little bit faster maybe i'll do it tomorrow maybe we'll see 200 on that thing that'd be pretty dope the ctsb wagons pulling up this morning hoping for its 200 mile an hour pass the temperatures are 20 degrees cooler right now which is perfect for some fast passes we already saw avengers racing take down their record again another 10 miles an hour faster so we're hoping to see just a couple more mile an hour on the wagon so you got that magic 200 he's looking for [Music] [Music] oh 191 for the 56 he hit his 190 hell yeah and then uh 198 for the cadillac so he's this close [Music] [Music] [Music] oh damn so close 198.41 ah this close [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] oh he did it he went 200 miles an hour 200. hell yeah 200.26 see if this v wagon just did what he came here to do 200 and we have two hours left so he can do a couple more oh he knows [Applause] [Music] [Applause] well they gave you your shirt already so you knew huh they did it as i pulled up man let's see it hell yes 200 mile an hour cadillac wagon yes sir what in the hell what was it by the way i'm telling you at the end of the runway too i knew it because you could actually went airborne i finally felt that bump what i there's a huge bump at the end i was like i never felt that before damn wow man i'm so happy congratulations you guys worked your asses off of that that's awesome look at this thing 200 miles an hour yeah doesn't make sense not in the wagon man not the wagon that's about the limit i feel almost comfortable with that that bump at the end was crazy i don't know i don't know it's got more in it just oh yeah i need more tire yep congrats guys thank you i appreciate your video amazing damn 200 mile an hour station wagon and one of the
