uh [Music] [Music] so hey everybody bro from drag times here we're out at tx2k21 with the mod find 765lt qualifying going for the new record for the mclaren 765lt and possibly a new record for overall mclarens it's three days of qualifying then a heads-up racing the best 16 cars will battle out in the gtr dct-1 class times will range from low eights probably to mid nines to get in there we might have a chance we'll be up middle of the pack probably with the with the uh 765 lt uh running in the high eights with the savage garage rig over here brought this brought uh the 765 up with jimmy's huracan twin turbo we also got alex from cheapy race he's got like four cars out here yes sir clay just built his 1400 horsepower yes sir 1400 horsepower huracan he wants me to bring it out too it's right there backing up we will be racing heads up possibly enforce me in the 765. this should be fine yeah should be good uh and i want to ride in this car too see what that thing feels like gotta drive it he's got a blue one right there back there if you can see it just ran eight three eight three one at 171 at 171 miles an hour on a stock model right here we go last one of the night lt and rhonya didn't get a colorado spring the 2018. dude you just got the record you stole it from me good job man was it one four three one four three sixty foot congratulations my man there it is i don't i tested the light to see how far i can push the red light too far yeah it's okay but uh yeah i saw the burn alley and go through all the way that's so fun badly yeah yeah we're still weighing eight nine yes still one eight nine depending still 189 yeah good all right so we're out here for the final day at tx2k first round i got the 765 versus a 720s that ran 9.0 that's first round second round if i make that i gotta race this sheepy race twin turbo r8 that went 8-3 all right here's the audi r8 it would be round two if i pass round one and then we got the pink gtr by brooke what's up brooke what's going on good luck today thank you your top [Music] it's pretty good but you're at the you're at the top of the food chain here i think you're going to do well i think you are as well well yeah we'll see about that it's all about driver mod when how much horsepower are you making here got a little bit of weight how much you call it all right i'm 3 000 pounds and about 950 wheel yeah but your car's so consistent right [Music] in that spot well it could be brook versus brooks that would be no that would be pretty cool it's a good race right great cars well good luck seeing you out there okay all right so this car went 8.3 i think 170 miles an hour only made one pass though there you are twin turbo r8 make it about 1400 horsepower and we got an alpha r8 twin turbo right here and also no children oh we got giddy over here kitty what are you driving what are you running today is this thing fast was it run 770 at seven seventy two how about number one the rest of the gtr class dct another twin turbo r8 we got ken's gt500 which you saw in a previous race versus my stock 765 lt was a pretty big video so get this pump another one right here let's go home are you ready you ready let's do it another twin turbo performante we got kenny trans 720s and i think this is the one i'm racing back here we got the paris blue 720 ran nine flat [Music] 879 i believe at 158k [Applause] dot um [Music] oh all right so there we go round one of eliminations yep 765 884 and uh the 720 it's actually his first time in the eights he's super happy we both didn't go after the tree i wanted to make it to the second round i thought it had plenty on him but apparently i didn't because i only beat him by one tenth down the quarter mile he definitely could beat me if we went after the tree this next race is against this audi sheepy car 1400 horsepower previously run 10-3 i mean eight three at 177 miles an hour i'm pretty much done so i'm gonna go i'm gonna go even if i go after the trailer i'm my best friend that's an eight seven it's an eight three and i know that the bath doesn't work i'd have to beat him off the tree by a half a second yeah and i don't think that's gonna happen so my only chance not to wish anyone to break of course is that he has a problem off the line and that and then i make it pass which is entirely possible because the first run down another twin turbo r8 yeah which has been running great the whole time it broke like it got out of the line perfectly you'll see it in the video and then have problems yeah so i'm gonna go after the light no matter what all we gotta do is hope for the best i mean the car is very consistent eight second car a second car uh those cars i mean they can be consistent but at the end of the day it's a new platform so it's not as consistent as that yeah clay's car before this one actually broke two axles back to back yeah that's only made one pass here today and this car has oh yeah that's right so yeah they still it's still like i said anything can happen all right round two coming up there you go [Music] do [Music] here we go uh [Music] oh left side here we go semifinals clay and brooks face so here we go who wants to see the lady go to the final round who wants to see the lambo win this race oh no she goes in the 20s oh my goodness another one and brooke barini will have lane choice when the final performante brook and the gtr here we go here we go all right so that's a wrap of our experience at tx2k i did my best with the mclaren seven six five lt from mod find i hit a 0.1 reaction time against a much quicker car he pulled a 0.5 light i was ahead most of the way and that car is so much faster that just at the end of the track i think he got me about by about a car and a half i wasn't sure if he was broken back there but all of a sudden he basically just blew the doors off running a best of 8-2 at 171 miles an hour just totally outmatched for the 765 however it's just the luck of the draw or however they they line up the different cars that car broke on its next try uh busted an axle and also my buddy clay's car on the next run uh broke something in the transmission so both the twin turbo huracan and the audi are out and in the finals it is ams brook versus the ams lambo in the finals so there you go as always thanks for watching if you enjoyed this video hit the thumbs
