World Debut! CHEVY SUPER C Only 28FT Long!

hey everyone I'm Matt welcome back to another video today I am super excited we are here in Elkhart Indiana at open house showing you the world's very first Super C on a Chevy Silverado chassis this is the 2023 Nexus verado model 28 s on the Silverado 5500 chassis we are going to take a look at the outside features first and the inside features then we're gonna give you three things we love about this motorhome and three things we dislike about it we're starting in three two one hey everyone again welcome back to another video again today I am super excited guys World debut of the new verado on the Silverado chassis Super C badass America really excited to show everybody before I begin gotta say hi to Andrea hey Andrea hey everybody how's it going today it's going really good I am so excited to be here at Nexus you guys we are excited anytime there's a super seed new on the market yes we get super excited and here with us is Dave Middleton what's going on Welcome Back to the show thank you for having me how are you today we're doing great well Dave we did a fantastic job that not we you today fantastic job viewers loved it last time when we did the world debut of Dorado Rebel that's right tell us you're doing so well with the rebel what the heck is this behind us you know we felt because we get a lot of requests for the Chevy yes so so since we had the same wheelbase with the rebel as far as the way the configuration was we wanted to come out with the most aggressively priced Super C in the market yes and we've accomplished that with this it's the 5500 series 4x2 rear air ride first to have OnStar for safety okay which is a tremendous feature it's the Duramax Diesel with the Allison Transmission so the combination the whole combination package together we couldn't pass it up so we committed very large with Chevy they're in production now yes and it's done a tremendous job to this point now do you know the MSRP yes don't no you guys got to stick around we'll see that when we're on the inside right let's begin you bet so we're going to start up front model is 28 ask Dave what's the tip to play tip to tip link is 28 feet that's what's huge about this floor plan we tried to accomplish getting in 28 feet a sofa and a dinette configuration with a washer and dryer option it's all in one coach with a walk around bed by the way I actually have not been inside of this because you're here I want to be surprised so what do we got going on under the hood you said this is a Silverado 55 6.6 liter it's the Duramax Diesel yes with the Allison Transmission yes and again the big key on this is rear air ride oh 19.5 is the GVWR 19 and a half so it's got everything that you're asking for and here's another biggie Taco's 15 000 pounds so now this one's the 4x2 that's correct but you have the option for four by four that's right and we have the four by fours on order and they're coming in as well I love it so we offer a 28 foot a 30 foot and a 32 foot three floor planes perfect I love this look the way it looks Chevy it's different it's Chrome it's aggressive up front there we do have a nice bunk over the cab a little bit smaller so it's not taken away from your visibility um and it's a front cap and you can see the seams right there that's right front cap and front underbelly along with front cap molded Wings on the driver passenger side so a little bit more upgraded look for you perfect if you don't mind right there sure look at these tires are the good years I love those these are the lt225 where you see that that's just how I know time to start just say what you were saying lt225 70 R 19.5 very nice with these shiny Alcoa rims coming on down here we do have mirrors on both sides okay no side cameras do you have side cameras at all right now you do not right now we're waiting for them to be compatible with the in-dash backup camera no problem and then coming over here you can see we have a nice running board right there to get in and out this is very nice and again what's so great about these super C's is tall people like well makes it just easier because they have a hard time sitting in the E-Series chassis and then um obviously this is diesel just wanted to mention that coming down here we do have a very nice power awning with LED lights frameless Windows Now Dave I'm in the showroom Andre do a quick 360 for America the one thing I'm noticing this is the only unit in here that doesn't have full body paint that's right what's the deal with that you know the reason why is because of the way all the price increases have happened yup things keep going up and up and up we want to give you the most valuable value-packed Super C in the market yes we have accomplished that with this product being Thirty to thirty five thousand dollars less than any other Super C out there love it love it and don't get me wrong stickers and decals do look great um right here I love it that's always a big deal for us look at this we got some batteries here look at this nice fiberglass doors sideways swinging slam latch here's the propane we'll have all the specs update can you can you show Dave yes can you give me a Bing there's all the specs right there thank you sir you know I'm running out of Bing since we've been here and then coming on down we have two really big things of storage good storage yes especially in 2018 oh look at that yes exactly State national Park friendly this is really really cool coming around the back we have a very nice bumper America you know if you get into a little fender bender you should be okay again 15 000 pound hitch back up camera right there and a ladder to get up on the roof the other thing we did Matt was we put a molded eyebrow at the top instead of like most in this category would just put molding we took the time to assure no water filtration so we put a molded cap up top as well and it looks good nice you do have a one-piece fiberglass roof one piece seamless fiberglass vacuum Bond laminated roof let's go up there sea unit small motor home solar panel already on the roof wineguard 360 digital antenna and you can see four openings if you did want to add power fans oh great and if you haven't already make sure you smash that Thumbs Up Button what are the RV salesman's taking this fat ass up on the roof showing you what features the roof has to offer nobody finishing up 50 amp power cord okay there's your surge guard protector and a thousand thousand watt inverter standard yes sir nautical panel very good this way you dump all your tanks everything you'll fill up yes 65 gallon fuel nice another big storage bin very good good storage in an Onan 8000 generator okay and one thing that I really love about Nexus is the fact that you guys use asdal as Dell's a green based material and it will never delaminate on you not only on the interior but on the exterior as well so there's no wood in our roof or sidewalls now is with this price point were you guys still able to use steel cage construction we were you know oh I set you up for that again I mean hey it costs more it's more labor intensive but we will not sacrifice safety perfect number one here 72 percent stronger than aluminum so no matter what if we have to cut out full body paint to keep the strength and the rigidity of our motorhome we're gonna do it I love it well Dave the outside of this motorhome is awesome but I'm excited to see the inside let's go take a look okay he's excited and don't forget the cargo carrying capacity which I know is probably gonna be a lot yes do you know where it is uh all right yep so the cargo carrying capacity this weighs around 16 000 pounds giving you 3 000 to 3 500 pounds carrying capacity perfect huge amount of carrying capacity okay so we got a full wall slide full wall slide walk around bed and you can use the bed with a slide in too which is good not with the slide in you can ah it looks like it yeah well you know when it's in you can't walk around it but you can get to the bathroom right right you can't lay on the back right oh is it a foldable bed okay yeah so what happens is when that comes in the right here honors oh yeah it's fine yeah it's Chevy s out of it it is okay okay what do we got going on up here what's nice about this is it's more of an SUV instead of a motorhome or a truck style up front yes you can really relate has the integrated backup camera has OnStar first in the industry for safety so it comes free first month first three months are free with OnStar really a nice well cockpit well appointed looks just like the Silverado pickup trucks yes sir Andrea right over here I got plenty of leg space and again this is going to be better for your bigger people you got your cup holders your um your USBS and everything power windows does this have Auto leveling it does okay four point automatic hydraulic leveling Jack system is standard as well perfect when you come on out we do have a very nice bunk over the cab this holds this holds about 380 pounds to 400 pounds okay okay nice and solid yes all steel again up front the sidewalls tying everything into high strength low alloy steel perfect now again it's not uh necessarily why but there is plenty of height which is very nice that's right the way we did that roof to bring it up so you didn't feel so enclosed when you were up there sleeping yes right here we do have the Sansui Television right here which is on an okay angle for the entertainment center wherever you want and then when you're traveling you can lock it back in place yes right over here we have nice storage good cabinets very nice hidden hinges okay let's check out these valances Andrea oh very nice I like them better because I think the last ones I seen they were white with that but this looks much better and goes much better in here they changed it to Black that's right Andre are you sure you're not doing that because Mr military no it looks it looks better than the white okay we're gonna go back and we're gonna watch we're gonna find these to see if you approved Emerson I haven't seen them only the white ones okay and this is new too oh very nice okay right over here Andrea noticed it right away we do have the McD shades see so you we went to we came from Gulf Stream yeah oh God and this lady you probably know her Susan oh yeah she's the interior design she ran me down and said get your butt over here she said the toilet in here sit on it right now and then she says Andrea you hate my balances I told Sue I'm like listen you can have the sweetest Peach on the tree some people just don't like peaches that's right that's right here's what I do like this is a nice sofa it is comfortable I like the color good pattern going on here again nice TV watching angle Dave I like the gray it used to all be brown exactly yes no the great the gray does look nice we call this our Frost interior again trying to simplify things we offer a frost interior with the white Cabinetry and then we have a slate interior which is a darker gray Cabinetry right it really does it does that's cute look at that little cubby yeah he truly tried to maximize anywhere we could put some storage yes very nice dinette here here's what makes Nexus great cup holders you drop this down to make a bed exactly very nice is their storage underneath the seat there is not okay but in the future we will because of a shortage with our vendor yep to get drawers we are designing in the future for us to be able to do pull-ups I love it I love to pull Outdoors before they were really good yes well Dave do you know what time it is what time is it it's it's no time for the MSRP 239 000 is the MSRP wow MSRP now I know they weren't selling that at the Hershey was your the feedback from Hershey on this unit on this unit we wrote it up uh six times wow we sold it three times wow so it was you know it checked all the boxes for them yep the option to have a washer and dryer it tows fifteen thousand pounds it's a Super C rear air ride OnStar it's a Chevy it's a diesel so it it checked every box and the customers overwhelmingly said it's a home run they want it Andrea show us this kitchen okay look at this we got a cabinet I love adjustable shelves yes really good um nice counter space we got a window here with blinds and then we've got a little sink put the extension here and what three drawers oh what that's for more like I'm trying to maximize even with your plumbing you're finished at all yes yeah I can feel the quality in that you know sometimes when you feel cabbage they're like really thin yeah yeah you can hear it too no I'm serious yeah it's heavy it was Heavy it's not usually like that a little bit more storage that's it and you have a drawer underneath the stove and if you wish not to have a stove then you have a another drawer we got a gray stone microwave right here yes three burner Dometic propane cooktop okay and an oven very nice yes an oven and then here's that drawer all right and then look at this you know I'm not fond of wood cover refrigerators but you know what it's not brown so it's not it's a Dometic two-way good size very nice and we've got a pantry look at this wow that's a lot of pantry space it sure is yes and then here this tree yes yes but is this prepped for a stackable washer and dryer nice very amazing two drawers down here yes yes very nice all right let's check out this bathroom privacy curtain here yes around the master bedroom Okay small bathroom it's they're trying to be within a certain amount of feet you're coming back here doing the Macarena to get into the shower and it just is what it is Andre the same size shower as ours it's a 24 by 36. before here yep good height got a cabinet up here yes and then your medicine cabinet here very nice sink and then more storage yeah more storage on here very good all right uh-oh uh oh it's forcing Dave yeah I didn't say that on purpose this is not a private position no again and it's one of those things where you know I I saw the schematics for the bigger ones and it's just like when you try to fit so much to be State national park there needs to be sacrifices and truthfully a washer dryer in a bedroom right there's only so much you can do that's very true but again it's not a problem we got a queen size yes queen size bed fold up bed storage above there nice window and window here oh there's a little copy over here too back there now the other floor plans are they on the website yet where people can see them no they will be coming out this week where are we doing our website as well good cool very nice we have a over here we can it's it's prepped for a TV if you want to mount a TV there yes um I love the fact that you are able to get to AC units if you want nice bed with the cubby there and everything anything else that we missed no I think that covers it all you know again we've just tried to check every box possible and I think we've accomplished it even the price so yes look at your local dealer for the best price because of course it will not be MSRP right and then again the AC um something that Nexus does that we love is it's always metal duct work on the AC not Styrofoam that's right well Dave that's it that's the review now before you leave okay it's time you hear all right the three things we love about this and the three things we don't like about it Dave what do you want us to do first uh tell me the three things you don't like okay so I can leave on a good note we're gonna rip this Band-Aid off okay okay dislike number one obviously for me is the bathroom it's a small bathroom it's a tight bathroom it is what it is is what it does if you if if you're somebody like me in the bathroom so important you got to go with a 35-footer yeah you know what I'm saying whereas if State and national parks is more important then you gotta make do with make do with the poo that's it that's just like number one Audrey dislike number two oh just like number two I gotta say I have loved the Dinettes in the past and Nexus because they were always so comfortable also the storage underneath yeah I know you're bringing that back so yes not not only that big deal the the seats and the Viper always have the uh Springs in them are you still doing that in the Viper so no right now because of the vendor uh cannot supplies properly so as he can get back in to supplies properly we will offer those that's awesome good so it's it's not gone it's just on hold till we can get support that's just like number two and then Andre dislike number three for me um I'm going to say the bad uh the fold-up bed you know don't like it you can't lay in the bed while driving down the road it is what it is a small motor home small floor plan they're all like that well Andre that's three things we don't like about it now it's time for three things we love about it do you mind if I go first go ahead I'm gonna say the overall floor plane again we're joking about the bathroom we don't like we don't like the bathroom we don't like the bed but the fact that you're able to get the bathroom the bed dinette so far with a stackable washer dryer a freaking amazing I can't believe they did that and it's phenomenal that's number one Andre number two Dave yes I gotta say I'm so happy to see the white cabinets and the interior change in here yes the gray Furniture the gray Furniture yes it's a lot brighter you know yeah so it is brighter I do see you have another row of Lights too I don't know it was always like that we had another run for more life and the brightness definitely matters yes yes that's number two and then Dave number three for me is I'm gonna combo it yep three-way combo it's called a platter okay as the old steel caves construction yep the Chevrolet Silverado 5500 chassis and the fact that you're actually 28 feet long right National Park friendly 15 000 pounds and again to make it a double combo I know what these sell for where the dealership's making a fair amount of money the customer's making a great discount and this is hands down the best price Super C on the market today for 2021. hold on yeah magnitudes and accolades they're gonna be perfect competition right now the office is a lot better price it is and again you know we're not
