Wonder of the Seas | Complete Walkthrough Tour (2022)

hi i'm chris cardona here on the incredible and brand new wonder of the seas and i'd like to invite you to join me on a full walking tour as we go deck by deck and explore all the incredible things to do on this amazing ship and that's coming up on talking cruise [Music] [Applause] [Music] we're going to start our tour here on deck 3 aft and we'll start inside the lower level of the main dining room onboard the wonder of the seas so this is uh level three uh aft of the main dining room it is a three level as is the case on other oasis class ships and quite a few other ships in the fleet as well so down here the entire floor area is taken up by chairs and then you have this open to above here nice artistic chandelier and then you have the balcony areas wrapping around deck 4 and on deck 5 as well so here we are at deck 4 forward and this is the location of the royal theater which is the main theater onboard the ship you can definitely look forward to some incredible shows in here and we have some footage of that let's check it out he's got a ticket [Music] and he don't care [Music] okay we're gonna start moving aft on deck number four and this is going to take us through to a space that's known on oasis class ships as entertainment place as it name sounds it's really the hub of a lot of the entertainment on board not every bit of entertainment but quite a bit of it is located in this area and i'm gonna take you over here to the left and this is actually called the golden room this is part of the casino this was changed from other ships this would have been jazz on four and this space in here was actually part of the original design as the ship was headed to china and casinos are big there and i guess they were not able to make the change and revert it back to jazz on four some more of the interesting art here on board wonder of the seas and we'll continue to head out and over here we have the attic this is a multi-use space but primarily its use is for the comedy club on board and the space does also serve as a nightclub as well into the late hours and like all good spaces it does have its own dedicated bar and then back here there's kind of a more secluded section and if you notice there's a lot of mismatched furniture kind of stuff you might find in somebody's attic probably continuing the theming of the name of this club so our next space along entertainment place is actually going to be the diamond lounge and this is dedicated for guests in diamond diamond plus we need key card access to get in here so this is the diamond lounge here on wonder of the seas and this area is exclusive for diamond diamond plus i believe once in a while they'll put some pinnacle in here but they do have some continental breakfast here as well as a fantastic coffee machine which is a self-service so you have choices of espresso macchiatos cappuccinos cafe americano and so forth and all the things you need to make your coffee good right here at the dining club and let's head into studio b here on deck 4 forward and we're going to check out the open ice skating which is complimentary for guests when there are no shows going on here in the ice rink and ice skating on a cruise ship is not new to royal caribbean but it's certainly one of the more unique things that you can do especially in the caribbean [Music] i really like to appreciate the little touches that you see on board cruise ships up here in the uh studio b there's all these uh quotes from uh astronauts throughout the years and uh there's definitely an astronaut kind of vibe and theme on board wonder of the seas as if you can see the carpeting here is actually like the surface of the moon with a footstep right there so very clever very cool homage if you will [Music] and from studio v we're gonna head through uh the main casino royale which is actually available on both sides it kind of wraps around the studio v space rather a long corridor to get into the casino itself some very cool art installations along the way okay so here we are at the entrance to the main casino and we are in port right now so the casino is closed but as you can see they have loads and loads of the latest electronic slots and popular table games such as blackjack over here [Music] more table games in this area of course you have the casino bar with some table top games as well it's a rather large casino you can kind of easily get lost in here [Music] all right and that is casino royale here on board wonder of the seas and the casino is really a pass through as well so that's going to take us through to the main dining rooms which are located aft on deck 3 4 and 5. okay so let's check out the dining room here on deck number four what's really nice from up here is that you can have a nice view downwards into the main dining room on deck 3. i always like sitting up against the rail here gives you the best vantage point i really like the colors in here these chairs in particular are very nice and then just off the main entrance here on deck 4 they do have this kind of like little island area i like to call it you take this little bridge and it's just kind of a little cove of uh seating not reserved in any way but you could request it if you wanted to and then if you have an early dinner seating or if it's in the long days of summer you could actually get a nice window seat and enjoy either a protocol or as we are right now still at sea and here we are at azumi hibachi and sushi again located on deck 4 aft here's the hibachi area i enjoyed this yesterday evening i had some great company and it's always a great meal great service and a great show as well all right [Music] here is the sushi side of izumi nice communal table here and they do like a sushi and sake pairing so you can come in here and enjoy that there was a cost for that but uh very reasonable and you'll learn quite a bit as you go through and over here we have the sushi bar nice fresh ingredients right here one of my go-to's here at azumi sushi is the pokeball and usually it's a combination of salmon and tuna i asked just for the tuna and it looks specifically exactly what i ordered and it looks fantastic very fresh and look forward to it and then over here we have the crispy rice spicy tuna which is another one of my favorites and here we have the yachty udon noodles with grilled chicken and i guess that teriyaki glaze very nice something a little bit different for me here at uh zuma something simple for dessert but very good is the green tea ice cream here with the zooming i really can't get the sandwich so i try to get it when i'm here or at the teppanyaki and here is the upper level of the main dining room deck 5 aft so you have an even better view from up here on deck five down to the main area below and unfortunately if you do have window seating up here on deck 5 your view will be of lifeboats and the jogging track which runs all the way around the outside of deck 5. but you can cheer people on if that's what you want to do as they're running and walking along so also on deck number five in accessible forward and aft you can get out to the exterior jogging track which would be considered like the exterior promenade on most ships however this is a dedicated jogging track and probably one of the best that you'll find on any ship if you're a runner like myself you really can't beat this it's a complete circuit around the entire vessel which is a long circuit but you have views in between these life boats great aft views when the ship's at sea is incredible and then every so often you come to one of these areas that's kind of cut out on the side of the track and it gives you some better views of the ocean so you can see from this diagram there are uh four main entrances exits to the jogging track two in the aft two in the forward uh through the royal promenade and then if you're one that likes the numbers you can see here that one lap is 2197 feet and one mile is 2.4 laps all right we're gonna head back inside and go through the royal promenade which is really the main hub of the oasis class ships so we're going to head from aft on deck 5 and we're going to go through the royal promenade towards the forward section and as i said this is really the main hub it's usually the spot of the ship that has the most activity no matter what time of day and there are venues on both sides so i will do my best to show you each one of them i'm going to have to zigzag a little bit but that's okay so first up we have the bionic bar and you may have seen this on other ships so when you come to the bionic bar you'll be greeted by one of these tablets where you can swipe your card and make this selection from the menu of the drink you want and then these guys over here or girls will make your drinks for you [Applause] oh and over here we have the port shopping desk they'll help you if you have any questions about places to maybe get the best deals when you're in port and then on the other side there is the room desk if you have any questions about accessing the internet or your package these are the people to check out and the actual shore excursions area is one deck up and i'll show you that in a moment but they do have this kind of satellite location where they do have all the kiosks set up and you can use these to look at the excursions that are available make changes to your existing reservations all right here we have just one of the shops the collection that's called and it has some watches and some handbags sunglasses and such and then some of the most friendly people are here at guest services a lot of the times they will not even have you go up to the desk they can help you right in line depending on what it is and they are available 24 hours if you have any questions concerns or needs something you can't miss because it takes up a lot of real estate here inside the royal promenade is the rising tide bar it is currently in its uppermost location which is in central park on deck number eight we're down here in the royal promenade deck five but it does have a slow journey between the two decks and uh there's a bar in there you can have drinks and some nice seating and uh taking the ambiance of both areas we're continuing to head forward through the promenade here is a another fine watch shop and then another very popular place here is next cruise and as you guessed it you can actually book your next cruise while on your current cruise and you can get things like reduced deposit onboard credit offers and that's in addition to anything else that royal caribbean may be offering if you've been on any of the royal caribbean ships with a promenade you've probably noticed some pretty cool cars this is the first i've seen of this type of era car this is a classic mustang and uh just looks awesome right here it's these kind of touches that really sets royal kirby and apart as a cruise line i mean who else would do this kind of thing now let's go check out cafe promenade this has been a staple on most royal caribbean ships for several years and this spot you can get complimentary sandwiches and pastries throughout the day as well as regular coffee iced tea lemonade and teas as well there's an assortment of teas here these in here don't those look great these are all complimentary something a little more specialty with a little bit of kick they do have drinks that you can purchase they are included on the drink packages as well as the diamond and above drink vouchers that you'll receive and some move that they just changed recently is that the drinks here are now made with starbucks coffee so you can get frappuccinos and so forth from the cafe promenade and here's another shop seems to sell like jewelry then we're coming up to another venue that again is quite popular on most royal caribbean ships this is the cask and clipper pub and definitely has that sort of english style pub exterior and interior with some dark woods and a great place to come if you enjoy beer they have plenty of beer options bottled and on tap and in the evenings you can always come here and catch some great live music as well [Music] [Music] when you're in the royal promenade in an oasis class ship really take the opportunity to look up you can see right through in this case to the central park area through these glass roof sections [Music] if you're a pizza fan definitely check out sorrento's pizzeria this is a complimentary for all guests and uh lots of seating here on the inside and along the royal promenade as well and you've got two coco cola freestyle machines ready for you and then the pizza varieties will change from time to time but today we've got the carnivore meat lovers pepperoni vegetarian is popular and cheese and then don't forget to check out the auntie pasta over here you've got bocconcini and tomatoes prosciutto pesto grilled tomato grilled vegetables grilled eggplant marinated olives and even mussels kapanata very nice you'll notice these kiosk areas over here this is where they have daily specials uh could be samples it could be blowouts of you know shirts for 9.99 or 2 for 15 or something like that so definitely check this out throughout the cruise okay zigzagging across promenade here we have port merchants this is your duty-free liquor cigar cigarettes some chocolates and other confections as well and again nothing's open right now because we are in san juan puerto rico today and the shops will open again once we get back out to sea and then on the opposite opposite side we have the royal caribbean logo shop i was a little disappointed they do not have any wonder ship models they said those sold out on the first couple of cruises it's okay i will be back here in the fall and i'll try again and there's a couple more shops beauty cosmetics [Music] each of the oasis class ships always has some sort of a signature art piece here on board wonder of the seas it's this giant cowboy hat and if you're thinking this would look like a great place to put on a performance well this is also a stage and they do have a country band that does play here [Music] if you like the latin vine you need to check out boleros here in the royal promenade tropical themed bar [Music] and excellent live music nightly [Music] and yes there is a fully licensed starbucks here on board wonder of the seas you pretty much find any of your favorite land-based starbucks items here at this location and just something to note even though i did mention that the starbucks coffee drinks at the cafe promenade are included on beverage packages these here at the license store are not but you can use any gift cards or any credits that you have at your starbucks at home you can use them on board wonder of the seas now for a music of a different type you can come over here to spotlight karaoke this is always a fun activity they do have the public venue where you can perform in front of others if you are willing and ready to do so and this is hosted at various times throughout your voyage it's a not a huge venue but it does get completely packed pretty much for every session that they have [Music] again as i've said before it's all about the details if you can look here uh the front side of the bar actually looks like speakers and they've even done everyone a solid and giving them some usb ports to charge their devices and lo and behold usbc and usb a that's pretty cool and if you're not quite ready for prime time check out one of these two private rooms the gold and platinum i've done this on oasis of the seas and it is great i just have a room dedicated for you and your party no judgment just really really good times the two private karaoke rooms are great for guests to belt out lyrics to their favorite songs in a fun and cozy atmosphere the big screen will display the words while the tablet lets users set up a custom playlist with thousands of songs to choose from [Music] the royal promenade also hosts live entertainment including great musicians and the spectacular anchors away parade [Music] [Applause] [Music] let the wind catches sails anchors away [Music] there you go [Applause] okay so we made it through uh deck five promenade and here we are back at the forward section of deck number five to the royal theater we're here in the upper level of the royal theater here on deck the bionic five and the upper balcony here pretty much great views everywhere there's minimal obstructions in the way uh when you're watching a show so here we are deck six forward at the vitality at sea spa and fitness center [Music] over here we have the vitality cafe they do have several drinks that are available for purchase but they are available on great packages and they will custom blend those for you and also with some nibbles that are available complimentary throughout the day [Music] so over here we have the salon you want to come get your hair done maybe i'll consider doing that or a shave perhaps now here at the reception you do have the fitness center to your left and then you have the spa area to your right let's go check out the fitness center area [Music] the fitness center on board wonder of the seas is very similar to other oasis class ships there are a great variety of machines available like the stair climbers and these treadmills with views out to the sea the fitness center also has tons of the latest weight machines to focus on strength training and a large selection of free weights for those that prefer if you like to work out in a group setting there are classes available for an extra fee just check out the cruise compass for details a favorite feature about oasis class fitness centers on deck 6 is that there is a dedicated set of stairs to take you directly to the jogging track on deck 5. so over here on the right side we have the entrance to the vitality at sea spa [Music] it always smells so nice when you come into the spa area now the spa services themselves are located on deck five so you're going to take these set of glass steers down [Music] and then over here is the actual main entrance to the vitality at sea spa relaxation oh isn't this nice nice color in here too nice and soothing for the eyes very nice [Music] thermal suite heated beds dry heat chamber we're gonna head out from the vitality at sea spa and fitness center area here on deck six ford and you see you have another great view looking on to the royal promenade one deck below so up here in the forward elevator lobby on deck number six there's this area over here that is a great lookout vantage point if you want to look at some of the happenings going on in the rural promenade there will be a parade here tomorrow and the day after so this would be a great place to actually watch that we want to continue on deck number six towards the aft area the deck six does not continue from the vitality spa through to the aft section of deck six so we're gonna cut through deck number five and then we'll go up the stairs that are on the aft end of uh the royal promenade okay so we've now made it to the aft section of deck number six and that's going to take us through the focus photo gallery and something great that royal caribbean did a few years ago is that they set up all these kiosks here so you can actually just come and swipe your card and then peruse your pictures if you want something you can print it and in some cases you can get the print instantaneously and then here in the photoshop you can get camera supplies or cameras themselves they sell a series of gopros here as well and this section over here is the shore excursions area so just like down in the royal promenade they do have the kiosks that you can use and then at different times throughout your voyage this area will be staffed by someone that can help you personally if you have any specific [Music] when you don't have questions but when you're happy you don't want to lose them over here we have a mainstay of royal caribbean chips is the schooner bar okay very good number two so they'll do different activities at the voyage and uh [Music] number four and it's a great location as well for looking down to the royal promenade and by your head then i'm down your spine what am i a cone yes [Music] the wind the wind number six what belongs to you but others use it you are a prisoner and yourself as a third floor in a shop but not your brains dreams will come true if you have any questions about your crown and anchor loyalty program benefits you can come over here to the loyalty desk just adjacent to the let's see how many correct ones you got and there'll be a schedule posted so you'll know when there's somebody here to help you all right well we made it to the aft section of deck number six and that's going to take us through the fun boardwalk area and i believe i mentioned this in a previous video but one thing i noticed immediately coming out here for the first time is that there's no uh carousel horses um all the other oasis-class ships have a series of horses the carving from stage by stage by stage until the finished product and they decided to forego that here on wonder of the seas and it's just not the boardwalk with a good old zoltar so a favorite of a lot of guests and another complimentary food venue here is the boardwalk dog house they have several varieties of hot dogs classic hot dog chicken and apple sausage smoked bavarian bratwurst sicilian pork sausage and then have a bunch of toppings as well who doesn't like a ride on a carousel especially at nighttime this all just lights up [Music] if you need even more of a sugar rush in addition to all the amazing desserts and things they have on board wonder of the seas come over here to sugar beach and they have a plethora of bulk candies but nothing is included here this is all over the nectar cost and it is uh by weight but you can see here they've got tons of variety of the most popular candies available and i know my kids just love these uh squishable squishables or whatever they're called and these are very cute a little donut [Music] and uh they didn't have things like these uh giant gummy bears huge hershey bars and so forth [Music] and they also have a hard scooped ice cream as well there's the current pricing for ice cream three dollars for small 450 or medium 575 for the large we have these other items here looks like a sundae a taco and a cookie crunch split and don't forget the toppings and of course because kids are shoppers too they've got this kids royal caribbean logo shop on other ships this is sometimes a surf shop you know clothing shop or sundry shop but here on wonder of the seas they have barbie dolls barbie the ocean collection shirts some mermaids and then these nice backpacks actually are pretty cool looking and yet another specialty venue here's the johnny rockets diner and uh this is a flat rate of like 9.95 and you can order almost anything on the menu but again it is also included on the unlimited dining package and don't forget that they're open here for breakfast on oasis class ships and that breakfast is complimentary so definitely a classic diner feel in here the johnny rockets menu consists of classic diner fair like hearty bowls of chili crispy fries and onion rings with a ketchup smile juicy burgers top the way you like and frosty thick milkshakes here we have the best place to come and catch a game the playmaker sports bar and arcade you'll find lots of drinks on tap and a great menu of bar food nachos chicken tenders loaded fries sliders of course chicken wings and goes great during game time and then over here is the arcade area looks like they might be doing some maintenance right now but they do have some classic games defender gallagher donkey kong all of my old past homes are here [Music] we have a billiards table over here and these are the prime seats these boots over here during game times and don't forget these games over here as part of the playmaker sports bar if you want a unique view um from your balcony you can check out these boardwalk balconies uh if you get some of the ones towards the aft here you might even catch a view of the ocean and perhaps a show in the aqua theater and of course if you've been following the oasis class ships from harmony of the seas onwards straight through the refurbishment amplification of oasis of the seas you know that this purple monster here is the ultimate abyss [Music] it's a dry slide it goes all the way from the sports deck on 16 all the way down to the boardwalk here on deck 6. and then that leads us to the aqua theater a very unique space on board the oasis class ships it's not duplicated on any other ship in the fleet outside of the oasis class or any other cruise line for that matter and you will see some extraordinary acrobatics and divers and just incredible performances here in the aqua theater oh [Music] [Music] wow one thing that's different here on wonder of the seas is that they made a change right behind the pool surface area um behind the royal caribbean current anchor logo there is kind of a shroud uh it's kind of a material kind of filled with air and it creates this kind of a screen or a shroud behind the stage area and at night time during the shows this becomes sort of a reflective element and it allows the lights to kind of continue throughout the entire space and it really envelops the entire audience so that was kind of a cool feature and i think it also reduces the wind back here especially during performances when the ship's at sea okay so from the aqua theater we are going to go up from deck 6 to deck 7 aft and that will take us to the rock climbing walls as well as a kind of a secret deck area so these are some of the most challenging rock walls at sea and what's even better is that there's not just one but two rock walls for double the fun and if you're interested in a premium suite experience check out the aqua theater suites each deck has kind of a unique floor plan and balcony area and then you do have the view right here on to the aqua theater stage itself one of my favorite spots and it's not really known all that well especially for sail away is this deck area which is on deck 7 just aft of the rock climbing wall and you do have an uninterrupted view from here and it wraps all the way around there's some chairs over here so you can sit here and enjoy a cocktail during sail away and it kind of gives you a little bit of the view that you'd see from one of the aqua theater suites as well if you've been on a quantum class ship or oasis of the seas you might be familiar with the music hall and this is a two-story venue sometimes it will have tribute bands in here but definitely a great spot for live music throughout your voyage [Music] and check out that view behind the stage down to the warlock and of course it has its own bar and then there's the upper mezzanine area [Music] i think i actually like the view from up here more and if you are upstairs don't have to go down for a drink there is yet another bar up here as well okay so from the music hall decade aft we're gonna head through the central park area which is located midship on deck number eight and since i'm on the unlimited dining package lots of the dining venues are actually located here in central park and a lot of these plantings are pretty near the ship's really only been in service for about a month now but things are coming in nicely i actually spoke with the chief horticulturalist the other day and he was quite pleased with how things are progressing so over here we have 150 central park which is exclusive to the oasis class ships and 150 central park has a really nice menu some appetizers are organic beet salad pork belly which i've had personally it's great and then they have like halibut venison loin as well as veal and a couple of steak options so one place that i really look forward to here on board oasis class ships and you can see it's very nicely decorated in here makes you feel like you're in an upscale establishment this is a nice table if you have a good-sized party this beautiful mosaic on the background and as you can see there's lots of two tops especially these sort of special chairs as well and while you do have a view out to central park from 150 central park this is the only venue for dining in the park that does not have alfresco seating and here's the station for the rising tide bar up here in the central park and then over here we have royal caribbean's classic steakhouse of chops grill you can see it's got nice rich dark interior kind of reminiscent of classic land-based steakhouses chops grill has great menu selections from the crispy goat cheese salad wild mushroom soup and grilled black pepper bacon to meat and poultry choices like the new york strip steak and don't forget desserts like the warm apple pie a la mode one big change that i did notice from the other evening when i had dinner here is that they really opened up the space between the inside and the alfresco dining so you really have more connection to the central park area and then there's this area out here which is sort of semi-covered although they told me if it does rain hard they kind of don't use this space let's continue our stroll towards the forward section of central park and one thing you have to do is meander your way through these pathways which are just immaculately maintained and fragrant and you'll find little surprises like this baby elephant over here the vines are growing in very nicely and here's another surprise is we have yet another astronaut a perfect place to have a before or after dinner drink while you're here in central park is the trellis bar where they can pretty much make anything you want i love this living wall it's also growing in very very nicely and another casual spot that they have here is the park cafe it's open for breakfast and for lunch every day hours will vary and a good mix of handhelds and salads freshly made so let's go check out the park cafe inside so it looks like they have some prepared sandwiches roasted turkey and ham vegetarian brioche some pre-packaged salads caesar and mixed lettuce and some whole fruit down here we have some soups today asian seafood and black bean and nice looking desserts as well cookies and more fresh fruit over here we have some more sandwiches now these can be pressed for you panini style and some quesadillas as well over here they have the royal commonwealth sandwich which is a signature item here at park cafe and then over here they have more customized salads with different ingredients you choose and they'll make it for you this guy was hiding around the corner they do have a coca-cola freestyle machine right here in the park cafe so you can go for that if you have a beverage package and for the first time i'm actually staying in one of the central park balconies and my favorite is still the ocean view but i think this is a close second giovanni's italian kitchen is open for lunch on embarkation and sea days and dinner nightly large folding doors provide a nice connection to central park while you're enjoying dishes like a caprese salad with burrata bite-sized stromboli classic ossobuco freshly made pizza or a selection of desserts [Music] and then that's also right and a part of giovanni's italian kitchen and wine bar is the wine bar itself which also has this in outdoor feel and again great place to have your drinks before after dinner or even during dinner and they do have a few menu items that you can get inside the wine bar as well to go along with your drinks as we come to the forward section of the central park there are some more shops here this is the effie shop we've got some jewelry in here and it stays closed well you can tell you're not in kansas anymore in fact it's looking a lot like the mad hatter and you're ready to go down the rabbit hole let's go check out wonderland imaginative cuisine here on wonder of the seas you can go through this magic door or you can go around there the oasis class ships are my favorite locations for wonderland it's two stories you've got a nice bar area up here and you've got that fantastic view aft onto the boardwalk area now when you come to wonderland your host for the evening will guide you through the menu in fact a lot of the items they will pre-select for you but feel free to suggest or ask for anything specific that you might like and really a theme that is through the menu is molecular gastronomy you'll see something that'll be a particular item like let's say a tomato and it will be made from the ingredients that you think it is but put together in its own little way that makes it unique and this is a nice table up near the kitchen area and you never know if you're going to get a surprise guest to your table when you come to wonderland but every dinner every time i've come it's always a unique experience and here deck 14 after you've got the card room so up here on deck 14 forward we do have adventure ocean let's go check it out uh if you want them to stay with us after that time awesome so here is the room first on the left-hand side so here is the play place which they have a nice little sort of jungle gym area that kids and their parents can actually play together so this is the ao juniors three to five ages and uh you can see here they have a really nice large tv you can have some nice programming on there and uh it's a nice big open space so lots of room for the kids to run around got the bow of what looks like a pirate ship over here and uh just nice colors inviting i know my kids love coming to the kids club on board royal caribbean here is a rocket ship [Music] let's go check out the adventure ocean theater lots of room in here for kids to enjoy uh performances and movies and such and here we have the hangout for ages six to twelve something i've seen more and more on both caribbean ships are these interactive gaming tables um they had a bunch of these on odyssey of the season here uh they're continuing that on wonder of the seas and lots of these interactive tv games that you can play which pretty much touch screen and here's some nice uh gaming pods for kids to play head-to-head games here go over there if your kids are into arts and crafts over here at the workshop there's a plethora of things to do for them to be creative from drawing and sculpting painting and other sorts of medium here available to the kids to enjoy i know my two girls just absolutely love and we go home with almost a bag full of art at the end of our trips so this is the arena area of ao kids and there's some more of those interactive game screens that they have these are all touch screen games and they're actually uh here throughout the adventure ocean area and here we are at ao babies and nice and colorful oh there's a familiar movie playing right now and uh kids really feel comfortable in here and over here when it's nap time they've got some nice areas for the kids to just chill out okay we're here aft on deck number 15 and we're gonna go check out the windjammer marketplace buffet now if you're familiar with other oasis class ships and notice that there's a major change here is that the windjammer the entire one jammer is actually on deck 15 where on other oasis clash ships it's on deck number 16. [Applause] when you walk in this windjammer lots of places to wash your hands and the first thing you notice that there's a wide open space when you first enter here there's also a bar right off the side that serves drinks as well as coffees and they are available on the beverage packages or your diamond coupons over here there's a vegetarian section which looks kind of interesting and it looks like a waffle station as well now this being breakfast time you're gonna obviously see all the breakfast items laid out but it is open for lunch and it is open for dinner as well it's nice to have some little charcuterie plates set up and check out this uh kids corner where everything is kids height some nice fruit and uh nice sweets this donuts donut holes some yogurt station mcmuesli and some parfaits as well and over here they have a custom omelette station which i always go for myself it's nice here they have a bagel station and also a variety of salmons here in the morning thank you look at all these really nice fresh baked goods here wow look at that nicely cut up fresh fruits oh fruit skewers with some yogurt dipping nice here's the non-low calorie section look maybe these incredible waffles and they smell even better now there will be some duplication between different stations so walk around a little bit see what they have get a layer of land here it should be pretty similar every morning for breakfast in lunch and dinner as far as where things are located one thing you really notice is that there's a lot of seating up against the windows here so you have a great view and uh this new location also gives you uh for the first time of you down to the boardwalk and the aqua theater we have the beverage station as well as the popular coca-cola freestyle machines now we're just walking along the back section so it does look like it's a complete uh loop pretty much all around the boardwalk area and then again look at that view down to the boardwalk now from the back section we're going to loop back around from where we started and again this looks more or less like a duplicate of what's on the other side the mason jar is a brand new southern inspired specialty dining concept open on embarkation and sea days for brunch and dinners nightly the talented barkeeps make some fantastic signature cocktails and you can sing along with the house band for a set or two and then check out these rocking chairs with this fantastic view this is kind of like a sea porch over here start your day off right with selections like peanut butter stuffed french toast breakfast biscuits or the classic mimos fried chicken and waffles and come back for dinner and enjoy flavorful choices like lobster and crawfish gumbo shrimping grits and barbecue platters like st louis ribs along with classic sides [Music] okay we're gonna continue heading forward on deck 15. and this is the aft pool deck [Music] if you're familiar with other oasis class ships this pool location is where the splash away bay kids play area is located on oasis harmony and symphony of the seas [Music] these in-water loungers are plentiful here on wonder of the seas pretty much every pool has them so it's a great way to cool off without maybe actually getting into the pool itself and here in the aft pool section there are these two hot tubs that have this clear see-through side so it's kind of like an aquarium effect very popular here on wonder of the seas another big change is that they've added this tiered seating right here which gives you some extra space to lounge out near the pool [Music] and here's another of the main pools pretty much identical to the one on the other side more of those in pool loungers [Music] continue to make our way forward and we're going to pass through the lime and coconut bar the lower section this is really becoming the norm on all new and refurbished royal caribbean ships kind of replacing the old pool bars which were really much that called the pool bars when you have a ship this size the largest cruise ship in the world you do need a larger venue for ice cream and they got four machines here at sprinkles and here's the starboard side lime and coconut bar [Music] as we continue to move forward on deck 15. [Music] and then here on the starboard side we do have the beach pool which has a kind of sloped entry into the water which is nice and accessible and then here is the new location for splashaway bay [Music] it's a great spot for kids that maybe aren't quite ready for the more intense perfect storm water slides or just prefer a more lazily kind of play time and then for the really tiny guys and girls they have this splash pad over here as well always thrilling are the trio of slides of the perfect storm start off with a pair of racing slides cyclone and typhoon then feel the whirling effect of the supercell bowl slide [Music] down okay so we're forward on deck 15 and we are now in the solarium uh which is for guess 16 and above and as soon as you walk in here a big thing that i notice is the temperature this is the first solarium on an oasis class ship that is climate controlled so as you can see they do have these ceiling panels that are actually filled with air inside and they can control the temperature in here which is i think really really nice [Music] i really like the way they've set up the pool in the solarium onboard wonder of the seas so you've got this section over here which has some sort of seats in the middle and around the edge and then down on the lower area they have loungers not you know deep pool or anything but definitely you can cool off here with a amazing forward view i really like the way they've laid out the bar here kind of in the middle on other ships in this class it's kind of tucked in on the upper level and this is a little more inviting here and you're kind of in the middle of the action as well [Music] and right up against the bar they have this more like loungy section here i really like this guy here let's see he's grazing on the palm tree and as you can see lots of loungers available and if you want to eat your meal out here in the solarium area they've got plenty of seats up here for you to do so let's go over here and check out the one and only cantilevered pool on board this ship whereas oasis class ships tend to have two this one only has one they've taken the other one and turned that into a bar [Applause] and because this is again inside the solarium this is all completely climate controlled as well and it really doesn't matter where you are in the solarium you're always going to have the amazing views from these large panes of glass here on the side and wrapping around the front as well [Music] okay i will take you to the lower level now of the solarium past one of the two whirlpools on the upper spot here and then you can see here they have uh terrace seating and from the lower section you can see that the side of the pool is see-through so it's kind of like an aquarium for the folks that are down here and then look at those commanding forward-facing views that you have from inside the solarium and then on both sides port and starboard you do have these sort of lookout platforms these are directly above the ship's bridge wing so you're kind of getting the same view that the captain would get but this is a nice place to be when the ship is coming in and out of port and uh here we are today in labadie hispaniola haiti [Music] let's check out the solarium bistro on deck 15 forward and this is another complimentary choice that you have here on board wonder of the seas and in most cases on other oasis class ships as well really nice here in the solarium bistro is the view through the windows out to the solarium itself so the solarium bistro is open for breakfast uh buffet style and you can see here it's similar offerings that they have in the windjammer much smaller venue maybe less selection per se but there is a little bit of an emphasis on more healthy uh options some nice fruit kebabs here and watermelon but you'll also find your traditional your omelets potatoes bacon and such as well here's some bagels with some spreads and several types of salmon if that's your thing in the morning exiting from the solarium on the port side of deck 15 forward we have the view bar this is a new design element as on all of the other oasis class ships this location has a second cantilevered whirlpool and we're here on deck 16 forward we're going to check out hooked seafood now hook seafood got its start on symphony of the seas when she was launched back in 2018 and it's been added to uh navigator of the seas as well and now here on wonder of the seas definitely has that sort of new england vibe in here and i can personally attest that the food is all very fresh and very delicious the menu at hook seafood offers delicious selections like maryland crab cakes clam and crab chowder fried and grilled seafood platters decadent sides like lobster mac and cheese and dessert choices and you do have a great view from up here of the lower area of the solarium well as down here which is the solarium bistro okay so from hook seafood on deck 16 4 we're gonna head after and then what used to be the access to the sweet sun deck is now actually social 100 patio for kids 13 to 17 and they have this whole area up here that just tucked to the side of the water park and that's just for them so here we have the other two racing slides of the perfect storm water slides and over here you can see they have these brightly colored casitas these are actually available for rent uh they do have different pricing sea day versus port day and uh you'll want to again book those in advance and as we continue to head out on deck 16 a big change you'll notice is that there's a large section of this area between the forward and the aft pools that has this covering and this uh kind of cool shroud over here that has the royal caribbean crown and anchor off to the side so this gives you kind of a different sense it's obviously a little more shaded and you also have this lime and coconut bar [Music] and uh this is really nice here this stadium style seating that they put which have direct view to the screen which is also new on this oasis class ship [Music] we have these nice whirlpools here that go off to the edge and this whole section that wraps around the giant screen these are actually the sweets on board wonder of the seas if you've forgot to pack maybe a toothbrush or some other sundries they've got this sort of automated section here you have sunscreen and toothpaste and electronics and games even okay we're going to wrap around the aft we're here on the port side and then i'll swing back around the starboard side so this in here is the teen club social 100 [Music] and they do have a good amount of space dedicated to teams on board their ship and this area they set up for ping pong with this enclosure great idea keeps the wind off the surface of the tables and here on the sports court they're set up for pickleball right now this has become very popular on royal caribbean ships recently and they'll change it out sometimes it'll be basketball tournament sometimes it'll be soccer they even do archery up here now a big change on uh wonder of the seas is that they actually got rid of one of the two flow riders so this one here on the port side is the one and only flow rider on board wonder of the seas and we'll go check out what they replaced the uh starboard side which slow rider with and then another very popular attraction that was added when the harmony was released is the ultimate abyss it's a dry slide it goes from up here on deck 16 down to the boardwalk on deck number six so you ride one of these carpets here and uh it is a tandem slide so there's two you can kind of race family and friends in there and over here we have the wipeout bar great place to have a drink before you wipe out or after you wipe out so this section over here used to be the second floor rider which is now the wonder playscape and the whole area seems to be like padded the walls and the floors so really really safe if you're worried about your kids falling or whatever but it's a nice sort of underwater theme area there's a slide up here and then they have some sort of play activities and uh some interactive things on the upper deck area i'll show you that in a second so there's this cool orange slide that goes from the deck up down to here and then there's this area underneath here i have like a climber there's this interactive wall thing see that crank this and you can see up there that's the the netting area that kids can walk all the way around and here's the upper area of the playscape you do have this thing here where you can turn the ship's wheel and it makes noise uh just forward of the playscape is wonderdunes which again carries on that underwater theme this is really cool with this guy always had some fantastically themed mini golf courses on board their ships and this is definitely no exception wow and another favorite is the zipline [Music] and over here at local fresh which is a complimentary uh casual mexican so the cantina fresca is the dedicated bar here for a local fresh mexican it's not quite dinner lunch has passed but you can come over here to a local fresh grab some burritos tacos quesadillas or nachos uh kind of fills the gap or how about the caramel flan or the tres leches so cake i was saying sometimes you need something to fill that gap a local thresh fits that bill and let's go check out the arcade that's directly accessible from the outside which is also new and they definitely changed the layout in here a lot of the same types of games [Music] so from deck 16 forward here right before you get to the solarium area there's this uh set of stairs which actually takes you to deck 17 imagine that and on other oasis clash ships deck 17 is the sweet sun deck but as we know that's been moved to the aft section now so up here it's simply nothing too fancy but you do have some loungers and some seating and this is accessible to everyone and then this is another access point for that social 100 patio area that i showed you earlier located on decks 17 and 18 is the all-new sweet neighborhood with exclusive amenities for guests staying in grand suites and above the sweet lounge and coastal kitchen pampers guests with a comfortable enclave to enjoy incredible views a selection of complimentary beverages during special hours and an exclusive restaurant for all meals featuring elevated menu options the sweet sun deck allows sweet guests to enjoy a private outdoor oasis with its own bar plunge pool with in-water loungers and plenty of spots to just chill
