hello everybody here's wolfgang kearn again and today i want to show you how to install the front ceiling today not with my car but the car of a friend the reason for this you will see later okay first we want to remove some of the lacquer overspray which is under the hood and we will use normal stuff which everybody should have right now so it's just a little disinfection spray and then we will go up from here and clean the second of these thick beams and believe me this is kind of important because otherwise the velcro tape will not stick because it will stick to the glue it will stick to the lacquer and then as you can see we have lots of lacquer here and it will immediately fall off again here as well right to where the screw is second beam and clean a good portion of this beam and the third area is more or less in the middle of the frank box and we will here use the first and don't worry this is really just only lacquer overspray which is produced when the hood is lacquered so it shouldn't be there at all so after we have cleaned this we will remove the protections on both sides and we will install this neoprene stripes to the slopes here here here and there but be careful they are sticky like hell good so after we've attached these neoprene stickers then we reinstall these protections here as well everywhere wears a angle just press it a little bit so it's fixed again to the velcro tape and now it should push onto the new green straps to a good portion so as soon as we have this we can first place the front ceiling on top and just leave it there and the next thing we want to do is we will attach our heavy duty velcro tapes to the areas where we just have cleaned off the lacquer so it's just simply going right up to indicate the position where we want to glue them we remove one side of the strip and simply please place it and a little bit press it to the hood same thing same procedure for the second side just look words used to be install it press it and you're good the third one is on the front beam a little bit more in the middle so it's not exactly where the round thing for the bmw batch is so a little to the left of it press it and we're done we remove the second side of the velcro stripe just peel them off don't pull them from each other and now final check of the position and then it's simply closing the hood carefully slowly until a full close and so now we will leave it like this for five to ten minutes to give the glue of the velcro tapes enough time to attach to both materials so we cut the waiting time for you so you don't have to wait the 10 minutes in the video and now we are performing the final steps of the installation process first of all we open the frank and as you can see now it's perfectly attached to the front hood and the last things we want to do is the area where the velcro tape is press it directly against the hood one more time to give it its final fit so as soon as you have done this the installation process is finished and your frank will stay dry and clean now so the reason why i used the car for friend today is because i wanted to show you the remove of the overspray of the lacquer in the front hood and i've installed it on my car already so i couldn't show it to you how you remove the paint so i hope you liked the video you like the product and we see us at bookkeeping thanks
