alright guys here it is the wig machine mb1 flap on muzzle break is one I said I was going to go ahead and give a shot to it is a custom cut to your bore clamp on muzzle brake bit of a alternative davon you get your barrel cut and threaded again safety there's the bolt it's not going to do anything without that so instructions for measuring your barrel this is the how a 1500 game king shut the hope over mold chambered in 308 blue machines instructions are that you amer measure your outside your barrel directly at the muzzle and again inch and a half up take those measurements you send them in to them along with your your chamber and they custom cut you a break this one here is this stamp to their mine measured just over half an inch point five six six five five eight zero at an inch and a half up stamped into each break just so I guess you don't have to resell it whatever else finish on this is very clean some of the pictures on the website kind of made it look like it was a cashed cast piece that was then machined you know for the the ports but it is 100% machined very nice finish side ports there there are five on either side twenty ports in the top take a combat muzzle rise it's finished very well top and bottom it's a secures with these four bolts the screws here on the side which instructions say to clamp these down between fourteen and fifteen inch pounds let's go and make sure it's secure ah suggestions well they tell you installation instructions here clean the end of the barrel with a degreaser brick cleaners what they suggest basically anything to get the oil and Grandma crap off the end of the barrel there clear and make sure there's no obstructions eight to ten drops a blue loctite the list that is a lubricant will dry completely suggest 30 minutes after installation allow that to dry I also suggest a drop of lubricant on each thread bolt there so tuna good and pull the spout so put that white on each one I've heard lots of reviews lots of comments from people talking about the clamp on muzzle brakes how reliable they are whether another can be trusted they'd like to become projectiles once in use I'm hoping this in the case with this one with machine everything your final landed an extremely good reputation and a lot of people really seem to like these brakes another thing I read about was you know the concern about whether or not your bores can Center to the exterior barrel I used my micrometer and measured it it is concentric to the barrel the bore itself measures a 303 thousands the bore on the clamp or on the brake measures it 347 thousands it's really about twenty thousand clearance on either side there so it's pretty reasonable not concerned with that so going to get to it clean on the barrel brake cleaner no rag just going to wipe it on there so not going to hurt the finish at all the blades pretty sturdy and probably not the most scientific way but I just took a smaller level that I have and put it on top of the cap turret cap therefore the scope scope should have been leveled when it was installed so that's fairly reasonable so with that being said I'm going to go ahead and put drop on each of these screws just a blue loctite imagine it's going to take much at all the idea is just sort of back out and put fit in the barrel here need to cut my tip they're a little large so may be able to get drops personally out of it I'll take and spread that around by hand try and make sure it's I mean even coat but spread it around as much as you can slide the break back on here okay bolts going I don't think there's any necessary fashion on which these have to be done as far as front to back or into out or anything else work let's go ahead and get it on here get it started don't worry about getting a lot tight from your fingers on the finish of the muzzle break Udo clean off with just a little more brake cleaner here degreaser you hops whatever you want to use a solvent now it does offer sarah coding for these muzzle breaks like they charge something like fifteen bucks to do it and they had it in black f de and coyote tan decided just to go with the unfinished version seeing as my rifle is OD green and I had intended probably just to go ahead and paint it or something to that fashion but I think boy it looks I am really good alone so once again my ultra scientific measurement here making sure this is a level sensor some of you will give me crap about that that's fine so sure that's a level I'll just start at the the front the side wit suggests a maximum of 14 to 15 inch pound torque secure this don't have an inch pound torque driver but I've heard of using the short end on an Allen wrench as your only amount of leverage when torquing down turrets or the scope rings to get roughly 22 pounds to figure it's not going to be that far off what's just one quarter turn for each bolt at the max just to try and get them as evenly tightened as possible the inside of the brake has a couple of grooves here and there on it I mention this it's going to sort of grab on to your barrel there and help secure it that's going to pretty much get it we have the residue of Loctite accumulate break as well to say happen to spill any on there and there you have it that's as easy as an installation as four bolts a little bit of time and that looks pretty pretty nice myself it's a nice nice add-on I'll get it up to the range here tomorrow or the next day the weather cooperates Oh give it a try see how I like it you
