Windsurfing Code Red 2 - Maui's Biggest South Swell in a Decade

foreign [Music] [Applause] Howdy Folks you know it's a little embarrassing to say in one way but it's actually good in another way that it's been now several months since we had the best South Swell in Hawaii that we've had in decades and um had a really good session windsurfing on Maui's South Shore and it's taken me this long to put it in it together because I'm just too busy doing other things and I'm not real good at sitting in front of my computer for hours on end looking at myself but here it is uh hopefully you enjoy the edit hopefully it was worth the wait and uh yeah see you next time aloha [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] wow foreign [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] foreign got too high and there's just no sets anymore but uh maybe get some more tomorrow oh my God that's the biggest I've seen in the South Shore in a long time so I'm driving home from uh the session was really fun it was uh pretty much a straight South Swell and probably the biggest well I don't know since well since a long time on the South Shore it was like a North swell on the south side a little inconsistent really bombing in the beginning I got a couple and then it got kind of inconsistent and the wind was really coming and going which it always does out there but got some got a couple outside nuggets and then two on the inside that just stood up on the inside reef and just trash and um it was more a bottom turn day than anything but man those two on the inside were like I could have ditched the sail and pulled into the barrel they felt so good so yeah super fun and uh maybe tomorrow again pretty stoked so we came again early this morning Sunday uh okay we're really to beat the traffic and um parking lot got washed out last night between the high tide and the big swell so there's not a lot of parking so it's going to be even crazier in the parking lot today than it was yesterday the surf's still big maybe even a little bigger than yesterday and it's already windy so trying to decide if I'm going to go out before anybody else gets here or wait a little longer and uh have some company out there but looks like it's going to be good again okay [Music] thank you [Music] foreign rain [Music] ing foreign [Music] foreign foreign foreign
